Hey this is Ty. Yeah, I guess you're wondering how we got through all that in the last chapter. I wonder the same thing. You say "unbelievable!" "Unrealistic!" "No frickin' way!" Well, the truth is, it's our story, and nobody knows how lucky we are, that we have proven we can stand up to a good many things and survive. For those who can't say the same, so sorry.
When Josh shoved me into Tristan's apartment, all I had to do was look at him. He closed his eyes and eased toward me. He put his head on my shoulder.
"I had to do it, Ty. If what we did was wrong, well, I'm sorry."
"Tristan, I appreciate that but I shouldn't have done that shit to begin with."
"What is it with that guy?" Tristan asked.
"He's a bit magical and I have always been attracted to him. He was never a threat to Josh. Me being a stupid fool was the only threat." I put my arms about him. "Who's coming tomorrow?" I asked.
"Mason is coming tomorrow and my parents are coming Saturday. They want to spend some time with me." I was a bit surprised as they hadn't been on the best of terms since Tristan beat them in court over the inheritance. Seeing how he has used it should've given them some confidence that he was the one who deserved it.
I took Tristan by the hand and we walked back to his living room. I was about to drop onto the plush, tan, leather sofa, when Tristan wrapped his arms around me again.
"What is it, Tristan? What's on your mind?" I asked.
"That last chemo treatment was terrible. I don't know if I can do this anymore," he whimpered. I leaned back to look him in the face.
"We have no choice!" I barked.
"You may not but I do," he hissed. "You don't know how it twists your insides. Nausea, sick, pain, fire. My mouth tastes like a compost heap!" I kissed his lips. He wasn't totally wrong but he was exaggerating.
"Whatever it takes," I said. "You may need Josh and me together but we need you. The mighty threesome...we need..." and he pushed against me and I held him quietly. I needed to change the subject.
"How is Mason handling this? I am, shamefully, out of touch," I admitted. Mason was one of the first boys that came to Hills and Dales after Tristan's charity became involved. He took to Tristan quickly at the first Thursday night dinner hosted by Tristan. The Thursday night dinner had become something of a tradition. The agency had purchased a small, older apartment building and the apartments were turned into dormitories. The guidance counselor believed the boys needed an open space to eat and fellowship and she had been right. The dining hall at the agency had worked perfectly and different groups brought in dinners. The whole dinner thing had turned into a stand up comedy, musical, admission, and affirmation session. When Tristan attended, which was most of the time, they expected him to have a story and he did. They loved him. And Mason, who came from a prosperous family, had a history of abuse from his step father and when he came out, hoping to eliminate the problem, they asked him to live somewhere else and avoid hurting the family.
This is exactly what the agency was up against.
"He's very attentive," Tristan said. "But I can tell when I get sick, he gets queasy. He's getting better though. We talk a lot. He's so smart, you know."
"I know and I'm glad that he likes your attention. Tristan, these boys, if we were still their age..."
"Oh aren't they the sweetest things!" Tristan interrupted.
"To be their age, but you know we wouldn't have a thing in common with them."
"Not a thing." I looked over to the bookcase and I saw Tristan's high school yearbooks.
"Oh Tristan, look," I said, running over and pulling one out.
"I haven't looked at one of those in ages!" he laughed. We got on the floor and scanned the pages of our younger years. It seemed to lighten him up a bit. The thought, the notion, the mention that he was prepared to give up on treatments and let the tumor run it's course was out of the question. I would come close to choking on my own tongue at the thought of all that.
Josh came back and enjoyed viewing our histories with enthusiasm. He took me home and put some "make up," or "lost time" sex on me.
We laid in the bed afterwards and it was just a bit awkward to say the least.
"Josh, I really..."
"Stop there," he said. "I don't want apologies. I want you. I got you and I'm keeping you. One day you will understand why I feel that way. For now, just put your head on my shoulder." I cuddled against him and kept my mouth shut. I may have owned the problem but he owned the moment. The things he could have said or done to me. Talk about being put out into the cold. The agency would've had to take me in! It could have been a disaster but I would live another day. And, I would keep my mouth shut.
The next week, Josh was home for dinner on Tuesday and went with Tristan and me to the Thursday night dinner.
"Hey guys!" Josh announced to everyone at the table. Everyone got quiet. "What does a terrorist lawyer say to the infidels?" They all, well, we all looked at him suspiciously. "I'll sue you!" he shouted and everyone roared with laughter. Tristan rolled his eyes. As long as it was Josh, the boys would eat it up. It would be the last dinner for Tristan for a while as the doctors ramped up his chemo. Tristan had made it clear that there would be no treatments the week before the Winter Fashion Show. It was a very important event and total success along with his concentration was required.
The event planners Tristan had hired to manage details had advised that while the agency was moderately new, the money givers were hip to the concept and the charity but they were money givers and had other charities tugging on their heartstrings. He would have to create a repeatable or sustainable event that would carry prestige and expectation. If the event was considered "the thing to do," he would have a better chance of bringing them back year after year.
He and I hoped the Holiday Fashion Show would be that event. On top of bringing in the stores to offer styles, we had food and drink menus to approve. We had the "father-son" fashion part where some of us older guys were pairing up with younger ones in "mature-young" matching wear. The thought that we were not older ones grated on mine and Josh's nerves. Tristan wanted to sing a song but his voice was raspy. He was meeting with a vocal trainer between treatments. He asked me to sing with him, which I will do because I can carry the higher notes. The invitations were all out and there were more than 200 RSVP's. The mayor had gotten us a ballroom at the Capitol Club which was an amazing venue. That was the hardest detail to work out with the absolute best resolution. And that was all Tristan. Mayor Bartley was enthralled with Tristan and his agency and had a dozen schemes revolving in her head that would grant her access to his information and use to the city's benefit.
The doctors were not happy with Tristan attempting to set the schedule as they knew how treatments worked and the frequency they should be administered. Tristan was on the move, however. He felt time was precious and wanted to make a deliberate difference.
I went to work and sorted out the stores. Deposits hadn't been made in several days so I prepared those. There were a dozen emails, most of which were people looking for different things. I needed to assign that research to someone in the store because it took a lot of time to see if we had it or anything like it. Apparently, I had two appointments. One was one of the drag performers from the drag store. She, Jasmine St. James, wanted to take over the prom dress initiative. She said she had a deep belief in the program and felt it was an opportunity for her to make a difference in the teenage girl's lives. I informed her that there was a specific process to follow with the shipping to and receipt from the other businesses and that I would start a training program for her. She was very thrilled. I was thrilled she would show initiative but it was a process we couldn't mess up. The drawback of accepting help was the training time involved.
The second appointment was really interesting. A young man, named Marcue Marcel, scheduled an appointment to talk about the agency. I hoped so much that he was not a runaway kid. It's hard to believe that the agency had talked to several teen boys who wanted to run away from home and come to the agency. Tristan was very upset that kids wanted to escape their homes but weren't allowed while others were simply put out of theirs. Social Services advised the agency to leave that alone. The boys on the run would have to be referred to them for proper investigation. The agency had license to work with displaced teens but not to accept "walk-ins." It pissed us all off! Josh, Tristan, and myself could not believe how complicated society was. It was ten years ago gay kids were shielded from bullying by football players and ten years laters this was going on. Where was the advancement? Where was my diversity program? Nobody understands how hard it is to look at kids and try to convince them they are ok without bashing their families' poor decisions.
I was down by the counter when a really handsome kid came in, reddish blonde hair, red lips, freckles, and soft friendly eyes.
"Good afternoon," he said in a heavy french accent. "I'm looking for Monsieur Breck," and he smiled. I chuckled.
"I would rather be called Ty," I said and the two boys behind the counter giggled.
"Pleased to meet you, Ty. I'm Marcue Marcel and the agency said I might talk to you as Monsieur Lane was out at the moment."
"Absolutely. Let's go back to my office," and I directed him toward the back. I felt so official conducting an appointment. I pointed to a chair and he took a seat. The office was a bit messy but this was a thrift store, not Neiman Marcus.
"So Mister Marcel," and he asked me to call him Marcue. "Marcue, I have to advise you that I am not a counselor and I am not authorized to provide guidance..."
"Oh no, no!" he exclaimed. "I don't need counseling, well, my family might not agree with that," he laughed. I chuckled with him. "I am from the French embassy and, being rather bored and unchallenged, you might say, I want to find a way to help your patients. I want to volunteer."
"Oh," I said with surprise. "Well, what made you think of the agency?"
"I read some articles in one of the independent papers. It's the only place to find out interesting things going on."
"Ok," I said. I was impressed so far. "So what do you like to do that might be helpful? Have you volunteered for other things?"
"No. I have been in confined quarters for a long time. You see, my father is a diplomat and we have moved several times. I always live in the big facilities and have been quite guarded. Now that I am 18, the leadership said I could go out but they would have to approve my involvement in activities. I can't create a "situation" you understand."
"Absolutely. We would not want to be involved in an international crisis either!" and he belted out a laugh.
"I speak three languages. French, because I am French, German, and English. I also play the piano quite well."
"Really?" I asked. "What do you play?"
"The piano."
"No," I laughed. "What kind of music do you like to play?"
"Ah, I see! I play Mozart and Beethoven and other classics,"he said with some satisfaction. "I have also played in a jazzy band with other musicians around the embassy. I sight read quite well."
"Mozart, Sonata in A minor?"
"Of course! It's a staple!"
"Ok, so that was one of my favorites. It was one of the few I played all the way through."
"Oh, so you play too?"
"I used to play more but time doesn't allow me the chance. Some of the boys have asked for a music program and we have a teacher who is organizing a choir and some vocals. We might have some things for you to do." He smiled. "But, Marcue, the agency has strict rules about who can work with kids. They would have to put you through a review, making sure you don't have legal problems, no sexual offenses, and perhaps they would want to see the approval from your "leadership." I nodded to see if he understood.
"Of course!"
"Then, in that case, I'm going to send you back to the agency but I will let them know what you want to do and they can take your information. Not sure if Social Services will have a process already defined for such an occasion but I'm sure they do and it would be very nice to have someone who plays piano and is so knowledgeable in language. Thank you for coming." I stood and he stood from his chair.
"So, Mister Ty," he said. "I think I should tell you I am homosexual. Will that be a problem?"
"Well, these are gay kids, as you know. There is a strict rule about getting involved with them. We can't..."
"Oh, I totally understand. Perhaps they are not in a confident place in their lives."
"You are correct. We are looking to build them up, not break them down. You get it?"
"That's what the article emphasized. It's very lonely in the embassy and this might provide some proper use of my time."
"I think it would," and we walked back to the front of the office. He thanked me and I did likewise and he handed me a small card with his name and phone number. Then, he left in a dash.
"Mahcue!" exclaimed one of the boys at the register.
"He's sweet!" said the other.
"Both of you, cut it out," and they laughed.
"Mahcue," David said, in a sweet drawled voice. I shook my head.
The month of October flew by and fashion show details on every front were coming together. Josh and I had to be measured and sized for our outfits as we had a role in the show. Tristan was right in his assessment of the treatments. They were terrible and by the middle of November, would be over for a while. He was all but comatose for two days and Josh asked why they had to be so terrible. The doctors explained that the aggressiveness of the tumor put Tristan into a high risk category. If they tried to treat it slowly or gently, they would have little chance of slowing its growth. Tristan had begged them to just go in and remove it surgically and the surgeons refused. It was attached to multiple organs and would require so much reconstruction he would likely not survive it. This was what it was and that was bad. I would lay awake in bed and wonder why Tristan. How could this be happening to us? And yes, I say us because Tristan is part of our DNA. He's our brother, friend, even lover, I say with some humor. He has always been half my heart and I worry. I worry so much. Josh seems to focus better than I do but it worries him too. I know it does. The looks on his face are more conspicuous than he realizes. I see his eyes go cold and his lips tighten.
Marcue got approval to join us as a volunteer. It took a few visits before the boys would warm up to him but eventually they would fall in love with his french humor and personality. He was playing for ones who wanted to sing and helping them with vocals. After that he was good with helping with meals and he wasn't shy about helping me in various ways. He loved the stores and could put together incredible ensembles for display. The store windows took on a whole new image and guys that worked at the store had a blast with this. They did a snowman theme in my main store downtown causing so many people to stop and admire. I offered to pay him and he refused. He was, much like Mason had become Tristan's boy, becoming mine.
After two days of sleep in the hospital, Tristan came home to our house for a couple of days. His life edged back to reality. His appetite increased. He became mobile and insisted on going back to his house. Tristan's first visit back to the agency nearly involved a parade. The twelve boys residing there almost overwhelmed him when he arrived. Dr. Riley, the agency head, asked them to settle down. I watched closely to make sure Tristan was treated gently but he egged them on in so many ways. He didn't want to look weak or pitiful. He didn't want to feel that way either. Treating him like an antique doll would draw his temper in a minute. I was careful to say the least.
Josh and I went over the attendees list with the event planners. Several congressional representatives from the liberal sides of the House and Congress were coming. They were not actually big money givers but they drew attention and they also required their security. Tristan's parents and my parents were coming. Bryce had accepted and was coming. Perry was bringing Julia so she could visit with her family for a couple of days. There was going to be a reunion of some sorts and I could feel it. So much so, I had to cry a little in Josh's arms that night. It was going to be so amazing to see some of our friends and family and around a cause that meant so much to us. Josh squeezed me tightly and the warmth of his body soothed me, like being wrapped in a heated blanket.
The next night he invited me to quit work at 4:30 and join him and his coworker, Cappy Lange, for drinks and dinner. Cappy was a good guy. They had started as fierce competitors in the firm but had come to enjoy each other. Cappy was totally accepting of the situation and I was glad Josh had a buddy where he worked. It was so amazing that Josh had pulled away some and we were doing things as a couple. Cappy said the long hours were going to wear him out as well and he had to make some changes. He said that long hours restricted his "prowling" time as he was unattached and needed some "lovin" like the next guy. He was very good looking but he was sweet. You know the girls never go for the sweet ones. We enjoyed thick slices of steak and roasted green beans with a couple of beers.
Tristan's mood took a turn for the worse. As we got closer to the gala, he was a bundle of nerves. Josh presented Tristan and me with a big surprise. Spa Day, not to be confused with our old Debauchery Days. Josh had booked us for a day at the Mitch Salon which was supposed to be one of the best in the city. I cranked up the old wagon, yes, the old Mercedes that used to belong to our mother. Bill handed it down to Josh and me when he and mom decided that the mayor of the city didn't need to be parading around town in a flashy status symbol and since she was pretty much driven to and from work, they only needed one car. Mom protested but after her predecessor, Mayor Buxtehude accidentally hit a homeless person in the street, causing a major ruckus in the press, the City Council decided there was too much risk in a mayor causing an accident resulting in a terrible lawsuit. Josh thought that was very funny because he completely understood. Our car had been parked in the garage for months because I take the train wherever I go and Josh has a car service from the firm. I was happy it cranked after sitting idle for so many months. The salon was a few blocks from a metro station which would have been difficult for Tristan to walk so I offered to pick him up.
When we arrived, Vanessa Clark, the spa professional, gave us each assessments. She thought she could do wonders for the lack of pigmentation in Tristan's skin and his deepening eyes. For me, it was crows feet around the eyes and exfoliation. We went through all the processes and it really was a very relaxing day. It was a place of definite quiet so we didn't get to talk much. I had to leave my phone in the locker otherwise I would have snapped a picture of Tristan with those cucumbers slabbed over his eyes. He said I looked just as stupid when it was my turn.
Afterwards, we took a steam shower, dressed and checked out. I asked if he wanted to come back to my place and he agreed. I could tell his mood was no better. He wasn't a bundle of nerves but he was "moody" quiet. When we entered the kitchen, I pulled out a cold bottle of vodka and thought we could handle a drink.
"Oh, and I wanted to tell you," I said matter of factly to Tristan, "Josh has gotten himself fixed up with a football team!" I was so excited by the news. I figured it would trigger Tristan's interest.
"How did he do that?" he asked, taking the vodka tonic from my hand.
"He found a small school on the outskirts. He researched several schools and this one in particular has a lot of potential in the team but not with the coaches. He talked to the administration about volunteering. They were thrilled. Josh doesn't think the head coach is very happy but they are putting him through the investigation. He's on pins and needles, I tell you."
"Really. That's very interesting," Tristan said. "Where is he going to find the time? That has caused certain problems in the past, you know." I was a bit stunned because I didn't expect that jab.
"His firm has bought into the volunteer ideal and they think it reflects well on the lawyers when they participate in the community. And to be specific, this won't start until late summer so we have a ways to go," I responded, with a bit of angst. "And to be honest, Tristan, I think it's a fantastic idea. For Josh to spend some time doing something so wrongfully taken away from him all those years ago, I think it will make him very happy. I would be happy to watch him coach those kids everyday!" and I took a swig of my drink. Tristan has just about finished his.
"Well, you should watch him. You NEED to watch him everyday, Ty," he snapped.
"Not sure I understand where this attitude is coming from, Tristan. Seems after a day at the spa, maybe you would've been a bit more relaxed. I guess not," I said.
"Ty," he responded in a quiet voice. "I don't think I have an attitude and I'm sorry if it sounds that way..."
"Taking a jab at me for that mess from back in the summer certainly wasn't necessary!" I interrupted.
"Yes it was, and please, Ty, don't let the truth smack you in the face. It's not becoming!" he replied. "The fact is, Ty, and I think this is as good of a time to spell it out..."
"Well, be my guest. Please, spell it out!"
"The fact is, Ty, I'm richer than you."
"You inherited it."
"So did you so that makes us even. Second, I WAS better looking than you."
"No you weren't," I said, interested in where this was going but not giving in.
"Yes I was. I think most would agree you have always been cute, handsome. I was dazzling and I may not be anymore, but I was back then!" His voice was getting a bit louder.
"Ok. well I'll let you stay with that if it gives you comfort." He gave me a fierce look.
"And I'm not at all convinced you were smarter than me!" he belted and I was stunned into silence. "I think that just about covers it all. I have always known but mostly didn't care that you saw yourself as the superior!" and I was so floored that I just stopped commenting. "But Ty, the fact is, none of that mattered. Not one fucking bit of it because you had Josh. Yeah, you have everything. He has always been yours and nobody, not even your fuck-ups can drive him away! But I will tell you, this last time was a close call."
"What do you mean?" I hissed.
"I mean, I had him, Ty. He was right here," and he pointed a finger into the palm of his hand. "I had him. He loved me for a hot minute and if I had not been in the shape I'm in, I might have pushed it and claimed him for myself. I gave it serious thought," he said with a sneer.
"You would never have done that!" I screamed. "You made your promise that you would never purposely come between Josh and me. Why would you..."
"Those were 9th grade promises, Ty. That was a long time ago. The rules are different now. Very different! You can't just take for granted that he will always let you come running back. You can never let anyone slip into that crack you created because he could be gone and the next one might not be so generous as I was to lead you two back together. The next one will take him and not look back," and he paused and he was out of breath and was panting.
"Maybe you should calm down, Tristan. I'm pretty sure Josh and I have gotten over this and I'm not so stupid, even if I am sort of stupid, to make the same mistake again. I know Josh put some lovin' on you in my absence. I wasn't surprised by that at all. But what he did, what you two did, to get me back," and my nostrils flared and my eyes watered up. "I don't want to relive that. Where is all this coming from? Why are you so angry at me?" I pleaded.
"I'm not angry with you," and he lowered his head to look at the floor. "I have been under so much stress. I have made a decision and I have to tell you and, Ty, as my longest standing best friend, as the single most important person in my life, I have to tell you what that is. It has been on my back for a week and it's exhausting me."
"What?" I said.
"I'm not going to take the trial they have set for me at the start of the year."
"Why not? You have to."
"No, I don't have to and I'm not going to. That last round just about killed me and all I got was a tumor that has only stopped growing."
"It stopped! You didn't tell me! But that's great news, Tristan. You need to go on to the next level and start shrinking the thing up!"
"No, the doctor's opinion is that it's just about the best we're going to do. He has seen two other cases not unlike mine and chemo became the killer not the tumor. I made my decision, notified him of it, and that's where I'm leaving it." He coughed and choked. His face turned red. "Ty, if I'm meant to go then I want to go on natural terms not on that poison, and there, I've said it. I feel so much better," he coughed again and began to cry and all I could do was pull him to me, wrap my arms around him.
"Ty, I need your support. I don't want jabs, sneak attacks, clever little arguments. I have a lot I want to do and if the tumor starts decompressing then I will live on. But I can't give up week after week, half dead and sick in hospital beds, having people looking after me, running to the bathroom, high as a kite on gummies" he whispered into my ear.
"I understand, Tristan," I panted. I could hardly catch my breath. I was so upset but this was clearly not the time to drop that on Tristan. I would have to talk to Josh. This was a very concerning place for all of us to be. I felt his body relax. I felt the stress leave his body. Tristan pressed harder into me. He felt good. I felt his muscle tone stiffen, telling me there was still some there. Perhaps he had put a pound back on. He had been eating of late. And then, as a big surprise, I felt Tristan's lips kiss my neck. It gave me a shiver. And he did it again and this time with a bit of tongue.
"What are you doing?" I giggled. "That tickled." He pressed his torso against me and I felt his erection.
"Oh my God," I whispered. "Tristan!" I said, pulling away from him. "What are you doing?"
"I feel so good, Ty. I feel better than I have in a long time. My mind is clear, all my cells are jiving right now. It's like a terrible weight has been lifted. My body is tingling. I'm hard as a rock! Look," he said pointing to the obvious bulge in his khakis. I laughed.
"You got me going too!" I said, pointing to mine. "We're like two silly high school kids!" and we screamed with laughter.
"Would it be wrong? I mean, to ask you, to expect you... Ty, I need you," he said flatly. "It's been months and I need..." he paused and I was quiet. "Maybe I'm too far gone. Maybe I'm not so dazzling as I used to be," he said.
"Too far gone for what? You aren't anything of the sort. And yes, you are dazzling, and yes, you have always been dazzling. You are still beautiful," and I moved back to him. A flash sparked through his eyes. He wet his lips.
"My hair is bristly," he said.
"I don't care. You shaved your head, so what," and I put my arms around him.
"My skin is gray," I said.
"Just some alien dna you got from your dad," I whispered and he laughed and he bounced on his toes. I pressed my lips to his and I kissed him. He dug his fingers into my back as I held his face in my hands. I was breathing heavily as the taste of his saliva and the vodka filled my mouth. .
"Tristan, I just swore I wouldn't mess up again and here I am locking lips with you."
"Maybe I'm exempt," he said.
"Maybe you are, but am I?" I whispered into his ear. "Go tidy up in my bathroom. I'll be there in a minute." He left me and walked quietly down the hall to the bedroom. I picked my phone out of my pocket, which was pressing against my full blown cock. I called Josh.
"Hey there handsome," he said.
"Josh, you and I need to talk about some serious shit," I said.
"Fuck, what have I done now?"
"Not you. Tristan. But on the immediate front, he's feeling a bit chipper," I said.
"Well, that's good news."
"No Josh, he's feeling very chipper... down under. He wants me, well, he needs me to..."
"Holy shit, are you telling me he's horny?" Josh replied.
"Basically," I replied.
"It's been a long time for him. Ty, are you willing...are you able?" I knew Josh didn't want to say it had been since he and Tristan were together while I was away.
"Oh yes," I said. "I didn't want to do anything without you knowing."
"I appreciate that but Ty, this is almost ethereal. We do what Tristan needs us to do. Right or wrong, good or bad. If he wants to lean on you, then let him and for God's sake, you need to be gentle!" Josh snapped.
"I think I know that. But, seriously, you understand what's going on? You really do?" I confirmed.
"I do and honestly, it's giving me warm fuzzies to know that he's feeling like this." Of course, I knew Tristan had dropped a monkey off his back and it was one that would inevitably end up on mine and Josh's backs but whatever. He needed me. He wanted me. He trusted me. "I'll be home later which is what I was going to call you and tell you anyway. Take your time. Make him feel loved," Josh said and the line went dead. I hoped to God above that this would not be a new problem. Josh would consider it his duty to provide for Tristan and the fact Tristan came to me...no, Josh was more mature than that. "Nevermind," I said to myself and headed back to the bedroom.
Tristan came out of the bathroom, naked, smelling fresh.
"Are you sure?" he asked. I led him gently to the bed and laid down beside him. I wrapped my arm over him and he tilted his head up so we could kiss. He had eaten toothpaste so far as I could tell. I kissed him hard and we stroked each other's cocks. It had been a long time since we had done this and we were both rock hard. I kissed down his narrow torso and took him into my mouth. I remembered how he felt, his texture, his taste. It was the same. He moaned as I lavished his cock with my mouth. I began a "fast and hard" suck which caused his body to tremble. He rolled over and his once very plump, now only mildly so, ass gave a lift. I kissed one of his cheeks.
"When was the last time I told you to kiss my ass?" he giggled.
"When was the last time I kicked your ass?" I asked and he laughed as I kneaded his ass cheeks and kissed and licked him. He moaned as I tongued his crack and drew my hands down his back muscles. He told me to come to the other side of the bed. He eased toward the edge and took my cock in his mouth. Oh, this was an excellent position to get blown. He was about to get me close to cumming so I pulled out of his mouth. A trail of saliva stretched between the end of my dick and his lips. I bent down and kissed him again. I crawled onto the bed and applied a generous amount of lube to him and to myself.
"Oh, Tristan, this terrifies me."
"It's clean," he said.
"No, I'm worried about hurting you. What if something breaks or tears in there?" I said.
"It's ok," he said. "Nothing's changed there. Just go slow." I pressed into him and he groaned. I stopped and started until I was all the way in. It was hot in there and it was tight. I really was still terrified but he lunged back into me and we fucked. I kept losing my concentration and it was apparent I was going to have a hard time cumming.
"Ty, hey Ty," he said. "Stop. It's getting sore," and I stopped and slowly let myself ease out of him.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you," I said.
"No you didn't, its just been a long time and..." and he pushed me onto my back. He lifted my legs and pushed a finger into my ass. "Maybe this is what I'm wanting," he said with a sly grin.
"Do it, babe. Take what you want," I hissed. He lubed and pushed into me with some force. It really had been since high school since he had been inside me. His hard cock pressed into me and got into the place, that place I like so much. He lowered himself onto me and began to fuck me. We were soft and sensual as we kissed and lapped at each other's necks at first but he caught on fire. Hiseyes blazed into mine. He grunted wildly. He was pushing me to the edge with some speed. I pulled my legs back and gave him free access. He fucked me like a teen bull in full heat.
"Damn!" I snapped. "You're gonna break me baby! Keep fucking me, Tristan!" I yelled, hoping the neighbors couldn't hear this.
"Fuck Ty, this is fucking amazing...the best...oh shit!" he squealed in a high pitch voice and he lunged into me and froze, his body vibrating his orgasm into me. He pulled out with a snap and caused my inside to twist so that I just touched my cock and I came all over myself. One blast landed on my shoulder as I experienced something very intense. His cock was still hard and he gripped it with his hand.
"Aw hell," he cried and he pushed back into me. "That really turned me..." and he was fucking me again with short quick jabs. I didn't know what to do except to let him go at it. I watched as his face twisted. I grabbed his thighs to hold him close.
"Ahhhhh," he squeaked and I felt it again. His cock pulsed and another dose of fluid seeped into my canal. His body was shaking hard and he was moaning deeply.
"Ooh, that hurts a bit," he said, laying in place on top of me.
"Are you ok?" I asked in alarm.
"Yeah," he uttered, "just a bit of pressure in my chest." It was sometime before he pulled out of me. He was going soft quickly and he had sweat on his forehead. He took deep breaths. His lips were a light shade of blue. It scared me. I jumped up and got a towel and a glass of water. I cleaned us both off and he drank the water.
"I'm so t-t-tired," he stuttered. "Oh my God, Ty, that was one of the best..." and I laid him down in the covers and spooned behind him.
"Shh, baby," I said. "It was incredible. Where did that come from?"
"That was my soul, Ty," and I closed my arms tight around him.
"Tristan, I love you. You know I always have," I said.
"Even if I was more gorgeous than you?" he asked with a laugh.
"You dickhead! I was gorgeous enough!" I replied.
"Yes you were. You are, Ty. My best friend," he said as he gripped my arm. Sleep came on us and I was aware when Josh came in and slipped in behind me and we were once again the fabulous threesome, all in love, cuddled together, in a trusted sleep.
I don't think any of us moved through the night until I awoke suddenly to Tristan being missing. I squinted my eyes in the early morning dawn to see Tristan dressed.
"Where are you going?" I demanded.
"I need to get home. I have things to do, behind on so many things."
"How are you getting home?"
"I texted my car and he's waiting at the lobby." He bent down and kissed me and gave me a deep look. Then, he was gone. I was a bit stunned and I felt Josh roll onto his back.
"Why do I feel like a one-night stand?" I asked.
"Aw babe, don't think like that," Josh said. "You recharged him. He obviously got what he needed. How did it go? Were you gentle?"
"I was. He wasn't," I replied.
"Huh?"
"I started on him, Josh, and I was scared as hell to hurt him then he flipped me. Literally, he put me on my back and fucked the shit out of me."
"Really?" Josh stammered.
"He was on fire. Heat came from his body. He caused me some level of I don't know what. I came like a motherfucker!"
"Damn!" snapped Josh. "I didn't know he had it in him but I'm thrilled. Well. that is to say, if he's got that much energy, maybe there are some good things going on."
"You have no idea. Just when he thought it was over, he pushed back into me and did...it...again!"
"Oh my Jesus!" yelled Josh. "Now I regret not coming home sooner!" and he cracked up.
"I'm glad you think it's funny. I was about to swear my love for him. You almost lost me!" I said, sarcastically.
"I reckon so! Damn, why couldn't I have witnessed that?"
"You're a pervert!" I snapped. Josh laughed. "But Josh, I was so worried. I mean, after everything I put you through this summer, I was afraid..."
"Nope, you can stop it right there," he said.
"No I can't, Josh. It's not that easy. I walk on eggshells everyday!"
"I don't ask you to."
"That's what's so terrifying. I don't know which was bigger, you letting me back in or you bringing me back in!"
"That sounds astute but I don't understand," Josh admitted.
"Josh, you didn't just grab my arm and bring me home, you let me back into your life, your heart. Both were huge acts of grace. I just don't know how fragile the line is."
"Would you shut up? You're not a troublemaker. There isn't a history of you running off. We've had ups and downs. Who the fuck cares! The fact is we've made it this far, we're still in love, and I intend to keep it that way. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!" I had to laugh. That was Josh concluding the argument.
"Ty," Josh said, spooning behind me again, "you think it's all about me. Everyone thinks I'm the boss, the leader. It's what Josh wants, what Josh deserves, blah, blah, blah. It's always been like that but in truth, Ty, you set as many standards as I do. From an early age, you influenced me on how to dress, how to present myself, how to open my mind. Most of what I am today is because of you."
"That's a lie. You were destined..."
"Destiny to hell. Many people never achieve their destiny because they can't do it alone and have no one to help them get there. You did that. You did all that. Ty, let me take you back to a certain New Year's eve."
"Which one, there have been about twelve of them," I quipped.
"You know which one. The big one, when we were in high school."
"Yeah, I know. What about it?"
"I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard that you all needed me to take Tristan's virginity to prepare him for Jack. Seriously? To prepare him? That was absurd!" He leaned back on the pillow.
"I came to realize some time later that it wasn't about Jack at all."
"You don't think so?" I asked.
"No. The fact is it was Tristan's master plan for me to be his first. Wasn't it?"
"Yeah, it was. He harped on it to no end. And when Jack came into the picture..."
"That's right. Jack pushed the timeline so there time was of the essence. It was then or never."
"That's all correct."
"Well Ty, the fact is I was more than happy to do that with Tristan. Delighted! And it coming with your blessing, well I wasn't going to look back in regret. I gave him the best I could, the best he deserved and have loved that memory all these years."
"I know," I said.
"Well, the one thing, Ty, that's bigger than me taking Tristan for the first time, was you giving it to us. You handed it to us on a silver platter, no pouts, no resentment, no jealousy. You gave the two most important people in your life something they would both cherish. That's the power you have. That's the kind of generosity you bestow. Ty, where would I find that again? Who else enjoys something so strong, so powerful? That's you!"
I was speechless hearing this. I had never thought of it like this. The fact Josh did, quickly reminded me who I was with, who I was in love with. Only the strongest and most mature would have such a perspective.
"Josh, it wasn't at all easy but talking to Tristan later, and knowing I had satisfied his dream come true, I did feel justified. Now hearing this from you...why didn't you tell me before?"
"Didn't need to, so, if I had to turn a blind eye to a severe hiccup this summer, then so be it. We all stumble. Not that I want us to stumble over and over. No time for that. But Ty, my love for you is bigger than some nonsense with a private jet." I breathed for the first time in months. I literally felt the oxygen in my lungs. It was like I had been suffocating. Maybe Tristan opened me up last night. Maybe he did more for me than I did for him. I wasn't sure. To know that Josh and I were as one again made me feel light-headed, relaxed. I let a deep breath out.
"I'm glad you did that. You can breathe again, Ty and you need to stop worrying. What happened last night is part of the deal. We will take care of Tristan, whatever he needs. Anything that keeps him moving, that revitalizes him. He will only ask when he needs, I'm sure of that."
"I agree with that. Thank you, Josh. Thank you for telling me those things. I understand so much better but you won't have to..."
"Shhh," Josh said. "No more."
"Are you going into the office today?" I asked.
"It's Saturday and I am not going into that fucking place. Today is for me and you. I think, after we sleep a bit more, we will go out and do some shopping around, get some fresh food, maybe come back and relax. Hey Ty, you know how you said you have some of Tristan still inside you?"
"Yeah, I clinched all night to keep him from seeping out," and I grimaced. Maybe that was too graphic.
"Well, since you don't want to disturb that, maybe you can put a little of yourself into me. I would gladly welcome..."
"Are you serious?" I asked, excitedly.
"I have an itch," he said.
"Oh, I will scratch it good, baby. Absolutely!"
"Good, then you can pick out outfits for us for dinner."
"Why? What do you have planned?"
"I made reservations at Pietro's, the Brazilian place. Did it a week ago!" he announced.
"Oh God, how amazing! I'm thinking lamb chops."
"I'm thinking tenderloin!" he snapped back.
"And let's forget about your car service. Let's take the car out tonight, like a date!" I said.
"Hell yeah, we got the ol' girl, we should take her out. She's still brand new!"
"And lucky she still cranks since she hardly gets out!" Josh cracked up.
"Are you talking about the car or my mother?" Josh said and we really howled at that.
"I think this is going to be a perfect day, Josh. Just perfect." And it would stay perfect until Josh finds out about Tristan's decision to forego any further treatments.
