Welcome back. I've returned from a very restful vacation in the mountains, and ready to get back into the story. I want to thank all of you for your support and kind comments. It's very gratifying to know that I am creating something that brings some pleasure into someone's life. So, on with the show!
This story deals with adult themes, primarily same-gender sexual relations. Such relations have their basis in love and commitment, rather than sex for the sake of sex alone. In some cases they will use protection; at other times they will not. You and I should always use protection because we do not live in the world of fiction.
If you are offended the idea of homosexuality or if you are under the age of consent or if you reside in an area where such things are considered illegal or immoral, then you should seek entertainment elsewhere.

A Thousand Rainbows by Mike Williams

Jason and Josh raced up the spiral staircase and down the hall to their bedroom, eager to have some private time together. A trail of discarded jockstraps, tank-tops and athletic socks led from the second-story landing to their bedroom and to the bathroom, where Jason had the shower up to just the right temperature and was waiting for his twin brother to join him. As brothers ... and as twins ... they had been bathing together since either of them could remember. Being naked together was nothing new to them; it was more like looking in a mirror.
But in the last couple months their relationship had taken a new turn as they noticed their bodies changing, the appearance of hair under their armpits and seemingly uncontrollable erections.
Josh entered the shower and took his brother in his arms, drawing him in close. Jason returned the hug, bringing skin closer to skin. The sensation of touch, which they had known for such a long time, now caused new reactions, which the boys found exciting. In a moment their cocks were jousting for supremacy under the hot spray.
Jason cupped his brother's chin in his hand and brought Josh's face closer for an intimate brotherly kiss. Josh put up no resistance when Jason's tongue begged entrance. Their tongues danced together, but only for a moment. They both pulled away, realizing what it was they had just done. They looked at each other with wonder and maybe just a little bit of surprise.
"What's happening to us, Jason?" Josh asked.
"You remember what we learned in health class last spring? About the changes that all boys go through? I think that's what's happening. And if it is, it's nothing to be scared of; it's natural."
"So, we're guys, but not quite men yet?"
Jason smiled at Josh. "Right. Look at the changes we've seen in just the last couple months." He looked down at their identical dicks, then back up into his brother's blue eyes.
"I know," Josh smiled back at his brother. "It's kind of exciting. But as long as we're together, I'm ready for it. I won't be scared."
Jason got serious for a moment. "Dad knows something's up ... besides our dicks," he added with a devilish grin. "When we were sucking each other off this afternoon, he poked his head into the bedroom, and then ducked out again. I don't think he knows I saw him. It wouldn't surprise me if he and Bjorn sit us down for a chat this evening, probably over dinner."
Josh wondered. "Do you think we're in trouble?"
Jason was confident. "No, I think Dad and Bjorn will just want to talk to us about being safe, and keeping our secret a secret. Stop and think about it, Josh. Our dads are two gay men; they've been together longer than you and I have been alive. They're our family, they love us, and they only want what's best for us."
"You are very wise, and if I'm your twin, that means I am very wise too."
"Uh-huh. So what are we gonna tell our dads?"
"The truth."
"That's right." Jason agreed. "They've never hidden anything from us. We have no secrets from each other. And it's all so good." He paused and smiled. "We are so lucky to have Brian and Bjorn as parents ... I'm so lucky to have you as my brother. I love you, Josh."
Josh drew his brother into a tight hug. "Y'know, we got the best dads in the world, and we got each other. And I love you too, Jason."
And he leaned in for another quick kiss.
Jason pulled away and looked into his brother's eyes. "OK, bro, turn around. Let me scrub your back, and let's get on with this shower. We got anchovies waitin' for us downstairs."
At the prospect of anchovies, Josh was only too happy to comply. "Yeah! Anchovies!"

When the boys emerged from their room, they were greeted by the ringing of the doorbell. They looked at each other with excitement and dashed down the spiral staircase. Bjorn was just handing the money over to Paul Miller, the pizza delivery guy. Paul played at quarterback on the Bridgewater Academy "Mustangs" football team. The twins overheard the word Franklin, and assumed correctly that the topic of conversation was the upcoming playoff game against Bridgewater's arch-rival.
"Paul! Hey, Paul!" the boys shouted in unison. Eager to talk to their school's football hero, Jason and Josh almost tackled the hapless Paul at the door.
"About tomorrow's game, do you think we're gonna ..."
"... kick Franklin's ass?"
Bjorn looked at the boys with a raised eyebrow. "Would you care to rephrase that?"
And they both stopped, open-mouthed, looking first at Bjorn, then back to Paul. Jason was the first to recover. "Uh ... I meant to say, of course, that my brother and I saw you guys at practice this afternoon ..."
Josh broke in. "... We've seen every game this season ..."
"... And we think it's safe to say ..." Jason continued.
"... Franklin doesn't stand a chance against the Mustangs. We'll be in the stands ..."
"... along with our dads ..."
"... wouldn't miss this game for anything."
Paul was having difficulty keeping up with the conversation coming from two directions. "Whoa ... yeah ... thanks, guys. Don't I know you from school?"
Bjorn did the introductions. "Jason and Josh Connor, freshman soccer stars of tomorrow and Mustang football fans extraordinaire."
Paul looked at one boy, then the other. "Yeah, I thought I'd seen you guys around. Which is which?" he asked, turning to Bjorn.
Bjorn paused, turned to the boys with just a hint of confusion on his face, then back to Paul. "Y'know, Paul, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference."
Paul's face broke out into a big smile as the joke hit him. He looked back to the twins. "Well, guys, I think you're right; Franklin doesn't stand a chance against the Mustangs. Your being there means a lot. You're going to Bridgewater; you're Mustangs now."
Together they all pawed the air in the school's "power salute."
"GO BLUE ... GO SILVER ... GO MUSTANGS!!!"
"What's all this noise about football?" At that moment a freshly-showered Brian entered the foyer; he smiled when he spotted the star quarterback. "Paul! I see you've met the inmates of our little asylum."
Paul smiled, showing his perfect teeth, and greeted Brian warmly. "Hey, Mr. Connor!"
Brian turned to the boys. "Guys, why don't you take the pizza and the cheese-sticks to the family room; we'll be right down."
Jason took one box; Josh took the other, and they headed back into the house, toward the family room. Before they were out of sight, Josh turned and mouthed back to Paul, "Kick Franklin's ass."
The three looked at each other and burst out laughing.
