A Voice from The Past Chapter 13
It had been a couple of days since Jason asked Tony to marry him. Life had become wonderful, in general, for everyone in the Cooper family. Carol and William couldn't believe how well things were going. Heather had become Jimmy's best friend, rather like `Grace to Will.' They told each other everything, and she had begun dating Ben's best friend, Bobby. Now everyone was excited about the upcoming wedding of Tony and Jason. Even with three months until the wedding, there was a lot to do.
"Tony, you home?" Jason yelled, walking into the living room.
"I'm upstairs, baby; I'll be right down," Tony said.
Jason stood there, staring at Tony, as he came down the stairs; he was only wearing boxers. Not having made love since the night they got engaged, Tony was feeling a little horny, and he walked around Jason, hugging him from behind. Rubbing his crotch into him, he reached around and began to unbutton Jason's shirt, kissing him on the neck.
"Tony, what are you doing, love?" Jason said, letting out a small moan.
"Welcoming my fiancé home from a hard day's work of working on designsof all those buildings that will be built," Tony said, slowly taking Jason's clothes off.
"Oh, wow! I like coming home to this!" Jason said.
"Come upstairs; I want to show you something," Tony said, taking Jason's hand, leading him upstairs.
They walked into their bedroom; Tony had already removed his boxers, and was working on getting Jason naked, as well. He walked Jason over to the bed, turning him around, and began to tenderly kiss him on the lips. Then he made his way around to nibble on his earlobes.
"Lie down on the bed, on your stomach; I have a surprise for you;" Tony said.
Jason did as he was told, wondering what Tony had planned. After Jason was comfortable, Tony climbed on the bed and straddled Jason, sitting on his butt. He began to pour some massage oil on his back, and Jason let out a soft moan, as Tony began rub his back all over.
"Tony, that feels so good. You always know what I need," Jason said, enjoying the tenderness which his fiancé was showing him.
Tony leaned over and began kissing Jason on the back of his neck, moving around to nibble on his ears, which he knew would drive Jason crazy.
"I'm going to make love to you all night long, my love," Tony whispered.
"Oh, Tony, I can't wait," Jason said, rolling over, under Tony, allowing them to face each other. Tony reached down, and began stroking Jason's manhood very tenderly.
"I love you so much, Jason." Tony said, leaning in for a kiss.
As their lips were about to touch, the doorbell rang. "I can't believe this; I have been waiting all day to have you to myself," Tony said, growling.
"Let whoever it is think we are not home; they will go away," Jason said, just as the bell rang again.
"Let me go get rid of whoever it is, and I will be right back," Tony said, licking his way up Jason's chin, and kissing him deeply.
Tony grabbed a pair of pants and pulled them on, also grabbing a shirt to put on as well. As he ran down the stairs, the bell rang again, "Coming! Can you give me a minute to get to the door?" he yelled. He put his hand on the door, but as the door swung open, Tony could not believe who was standing there.
"Jesse?"
Melinda had taken Steven and Rebecca to visit with their Grandma for the afternoon, leaving Jimmy and Andy to finally have the talk about what happened to Andy all those years ago. Andy had finally told his Mom and Dad about what had happened, and was surprised that they were so supportive.
As Andy sat there telling Jimmy his story about what had happened, they were both shedding tears. Jimmy could not believe what his dad was telling him.
"Dad, I can't believe you went though that. What happened to this guy?" Jimmy asked, wiping his eyes.
"Oh, Jimmy, I'm starting to get past it. I really don't think about him like I use to. Mindy has been a sweetheart, and Tony and Jason have been wonderful, too. Brett is in prison. He was finally charged, when he raped a fourteen year old boy. He will be in jail for quite some time, so I don't need to worry about him," Andy said.
"Have you gone to see him while he is in prison?" Jimmy asked.
"No, I have not seen him; I don't want to see him," Andy said.
"Okay, dad; sorry; I know how you feel. I didn't, and still don't want to see Daniel," Jimmy said, calling his father's first name.
"I know; let's talk about something else. Better yet, turn on the TV; maybe we can find a game on," Andy said.
Jimmy turned on the television, and began to surf the channels. Coming to a news channel, he stopped, noticing that they were broadcasting a story at the prison.
"Dad, look at this; they are at the prison where Daniel is. Something must be going on," Jimmy said.
Andy stopped what he was doing, and looked at the television. "This is Stacey Campbell. I'm here at Lowell prison, and there has been an escape. Two prisoners have escaped, and there is a manhunt being conducted state-wide. The two prisoners who have escaped are Brett Jefferson and Daniel McDowell." Andy and Jimmy just sat there, stunned, as they stared at the television.
"Oh! MY GOD!" Andy said, not believing what he had just heard. Then, in the background, they suddenly heard glass breaking.
"Dad, what was that?" Jimmy said, getting really scared.
"I don't know, but listen to me. I want you to go get in the bedroom, lock the door, and stay there. Take my cell, and call Officer Harris. Tell him about the jail break, then about hearing the glass break. I've got my gun; I'm going to go check it out. Jimmy, please, stay in the room until I tell you to come out," Andy said.
"Okay, Dad, but please be careful; I love you," Jimmy said, starting to cry.
With Jimmy locked away, Andy started toward the direction of the glass break sound. He slowly walked toward the den, with his back against the wall, and his gun pointing up. He looked around the room, as he quietly moved inside. His eyes were moving back and forth, searching, but not seeing anything. Then he heard the door slam shut. As he jumped, he turned around, finding himself face to face with Brett, who was holding a gun as well.
