I have written some other stories, found in the College section, "Colins-Story" and "Chris-Crossed". They are fiction. Some of this story may seem familiar. There is good reason, as my other stories are based on my experience and my fantasy. Here is the true story of my first gay lover. No sex here, so if that is what you are looking for, don't waste your time here.
Adam-2 - As soon as Adam, Penny and Wayne were out the door, Travis said, "What a shame that none of Penny's five kids are active in church.." "Well, they haven't exactly had an ideal example." Edie said. "Does anybody?" Ignoring that, Edie went on, "Their dad was there but he `wasn't'. Kept himself aloof from the family. Sounds like kind of a creep, to me." "It's seldom one-sided." "True, but now she's married to Wayne. Let's give it every chance possible," said Edie. "Adam asked me to come see one of his football games. I think I'll go. I don't usually enjoy football that much, as you well know, but high school football is kinda fun, especially if there is someone I know." "I wondered where you disappeared to. Where did you find him?" "Outside on the hammock." "And just when do you think you will have time to go to a football game, what with play practices, and then performances?" "That will all end in 5 weeks." And it did. But Adam never called with a where and when, except for once on the day of a game when it was too late to change plans. They did see each another a couple times in the next few months, always with everyone else there. Once when Travis and Edie were visiting Adam's folks, and it "hug time", Adam finally spoke up. "Don't 18 year olds get hugs?" Again Adam was surprised. He had seen the way Wayne and Travis hugged - a stiff and "manly" bear hug. As Travis approached Adam, one hand went over Adam's shoulder, while the other went under his arm, so that his lower hand pressed on the small of Adam's back, keeping the hug close and firm, but tender. Then as they were touching from shoulder to toe (even Travis's foot was between Adam's feet), Travis pulled his head back just far enough so his right eye was about one quarter inch from Adam's, Travis said, "Let's get together - just the two of us." "Okay." But it didn't happen. What did happen, was the play was such a success that by popular demand, it was scheduled for two more runs, this time down in the big city. In April, during the last run, Penny suggested to Adam that he take Anne to the play. Anne was a girl in his class that he was "buddies" with. Her parents were divorced, too. "I'll think about it." And he did think about it. All the time. "This stupid play is the reason that we can never get together. I'll be damned if I ever go see it!" He thought. But at the last minute, before the last show, he relented. At least it was one more time to see Travis. They had to sit way up in the nose bleed section, because he had waited so long, but it wasn't so bad. This wasn't a huge theater, and they could see pretty well. He had told Anne all about Travis. At the end of the play, it took a while to get down to the players, as they were greeting people and signing autographs. "Signing autographs?" Adam thought. Was there something here that he missed? Travis was not half bad as an actor, and even a better singer. So Adam was proud of him -- as if he were his own dad! Finally he and Anne made their way to Travis. He was hugging about every third person that he greeted. Could he possibly know that many people? As they approached, "AH! You made it! I told your mom to please ask you to come, but -- Well, I'm surely glad you're here!" His hug wasn't as warm or as close here with all these people, but it gave Adam something to dream about til the next time.
