Now on to my generic disclaimer!-
The story you are about to read contains diaper use, violence, adult language and strong sexual content. The following is evil, illegal, should be banned, and all that other blah, blah, blah. If reading a coming of age story of self-discovery about pre-adolescent and adolescent boys that wet their beds, wear diapers, and explore their awakening sexuality with each other does not tickle your pickle (or if the law in your area says that pickle tickling is illegal) then don't read it.
Chapter 18: Tuesday November 19th, 2013 – That Afternoon
That morning only got worse for me. As I sat waiting to be called, my stomach turned into a bundle of nerves. Things didn't help when eventually a police officer walked into the office. I knew right then and there, that he was there for me!
I guess the V.P. must have been waiting for him, as no sooner had the policeman entered the office, when he appeared from his own. He walked up to the officer and they talked briefly. I only heard parts of the conversation between them. Basically what was being discussed was that I was the one that ran away yesterday from school and my foster home. The officer did seem surprised that I showed back up there at school. The V.P. explained to him how he saw me this morning and at that time didn't remember who I was, but later on he remembered and decided to see if I was in my classroom. He said that he too was completely shocked that I was there as well.
Once the conversation ended, the officer walked over to me. "Boy kid, you wouldn't believe all the trouble you made for us last night. Every time you were spotted, you somehow managed to give us the slip." He said irritated. "Come on, I have to take you downtown."
"Downtown!" I said worried. Was I actually going to be arrested?
"Come on kid, we don't have all day!" The cop ordered.
I tried to get up, but my ankle was now the size of a football and hurt like hell.
"I'm sorry, I twisted my ankle real bad and it hurts too bad to walk." I said through a wince.
Looking annoyed, he bent down to take a closer look at my injured ankle. When he saw how puffed it was, he whistled in amazement.
"Looks like you did a real number on it kid." He then grabbed his walkie talkie thingy, which was attached to his shirt. "HQ, I'm at the school now to pick up the runaway. It seems that the boy is injured and it looks like he could use a doctor. Please advise."
For several seconds only static answered back. Finally a reply came back over the radio.
"Okay unit 27, please proceed to the county hospital and have his injury looked at."
The officer pressed his radio button and responded, "Ten Four." He then reached down and helped me up and out to his car.

The next couple hours were spent sitting next to the cop in a busy hospital emergency room. At least once I had gotten to the hospital; someone gave me a cold pack to keep on my ankle. It didn't really seem to help all that much with the swelling, but the cold at least numbed the pain.
When I did finally see a doctor, he spent maybe all of 2 minutes checking out my ankle, before telling a nurse to wrap it. He then left without saying anything else. I guess must have been busy.
It is amazing how much better a tight ace bandage felt around my ankle. To help me get around, I was also given a set of crutches. I took a few minutes getting use to them while the officer filled out some paperwork. Before I was finally wheeled out of the hospital (I guess the hospital had some rule that said I had to leave by wheelchair.), a nurse handed me a pill and a small cup of water.
"Here you go honey..." She saw my puzzled look and smiled. "Don't worry; it's just ibuprofen for the pain. The doctor is recommending that you take one as needed for the pain for the next few days." She explained.
More than happy to get something for the pain, I quickly swallowed the pill.
When we did finally make it to the police station, I was almost positive that they were going to put me in the slammer. Instead, I was taken to a small room where I was told to sit in one of the chairs that were at a small table. The officer then left, shutting the door behind him.
Very briefly I considered getting up and checking the door, and seeing if it was possible to somehow escape. But I shot that idea down pretty quick. There was no way I was going to be able to hobble my way out of a busy police station.
I sat there forever waiting for someone to come back for me, but no one never did! There was a clock on the wall and as I looked up at it every once in a while, I could swear that it stopped a few times. That was how slow it seemed.
Around 11:30; an officer came back into the room with a tray of food. He set it down in front of me. He also set a can of coke, next to the tray. He then walked out of the room leaving me alone again.
The tray contained a sandwich with some sort of mystery meat, some chips, and a chocolate chip cookie. I picked up the cookie and gobbled it down first. I then looked at the sandwich, which didn't look all too appetizing. In the end though, I was hungry enough to not care. I wolfed it down. I then took a long drink of my coke, before letting out a loud belch.
"Excuse me!" I said to the empty room.
I then took my time and enjoyed the chips and drank the rest of my pop.
I guess the pop hit my bladder pretty fast. I hadn't been to the bathroom since we left the hospital, but now I suddenly needed to very badly. I squirmed in my seat, praying that someone would come in soon, at least to pick up the tray.
Desperation forced me to get up on my crutches and go to the door. Of course it turned out to be locked! Not wanting to pee myself once again, I began pounding on the door and screaming for someone to let me out to pee! That of course did the trick.
The same officer, who had brought me my tray, opened the door and led me to the bathroom. I hobbled along as fast as I could on my crutches, hoping to reach the bathroom before my bladder gave way! The officer opened the door for me and I made a beeline for the nearest toilet, as I felt the need to also do number 2 as well!
Boy did it feel good to sit down and relieve my aching bladder! As I sat there doing my business, I remembered my wet pants from that morning. All signs of wetness had long dried and disappeared hours ago, though I was almost positive that a pungent odor of piss emanated from them as the smell persisted after I flushed the toilet. This of course made me realize that my teacher Mrs. Matthews must have smelled the pee on me as the stench of it was much stronger then! This of course just caused me to become embarrassed.
With my trip to the bathroom now over, I was taken back to the room where I once again sat and waited. Around 2pm, Mary, my case worker, entered the room with another officer that I had yet to meet. The first thing she noticed was my crutches as she looked right at them, then at my foot. She then took a seat at the table across from me and the cop stood off to the side.
"Jamie, I am so glad that we found you!" Mary exclaimed. "I was so afraid that something awful happened to you." She then looked at my crutches again. "Well other the nasty sprain I heard you got."
I opened my mouth to try and explain what all happened, but no sooner than I did, I broke down into sobs.
Mary jumped up and went over to me where she squatted next to me and gave me a hug.
"Let it all out." She said calmly as she continued to embrace me and rub my back soothingly. "Do you have any tissues?" She asked the officer.
"Yes ma'am, I'll go get them." He then left the room to return shortly with a box of tissues.
Mary took it from him then used one to wipe the tears from my eyes. She handed me a couple more to blow my nose with. It took a bit, but I finally did calm down and the tears ended.
"Are you feeling better Hun?" Mary asked and I smiled and nodded my head. "Good boy!" and again she smiled at me.
She then took her seat as I once again blew my nose.
"So, can you tell me what happened?"
Again I nodded my head and then proceeded to tell Mary everything that had happened yesterday. Even the embarrassing things about me wetting myself. She nodded her head a few times and looked concerned, but never once did she get angry with me. She was upset that I ran away from school then from the police last night. I of course tried to explain the dream I had and that I didn't know it was the cops that I was running from. I guess I never bothered to stop long enough to realize the police lights. That was how freaked out I had been!
When I finished explaining not only yesterday but the events from the last few days since I saw her last, she again smiled at me.
"Jamie, I know that you really don't like the Jackson's, and I promise you that I will try and get you moved as soon as possible, but for now you will have to go back there. Even with that, it took a lot to convince the Jacksons to take you back in." Mary explained to me. "I do think though that you might be judging them a little harshly.
As a few more escaped tears streaked silently down my cheeks, I nodded my head in understanding. With that, I finally was allowed to leave the police station with Mary. And as she drove me back to the Jacksons, she again promised to get me moved to another place as soon as she could. For the rest of the trip, I sat with only my thoughts ... All Alone!
