In mid May after the half trimester justitium (break) of the Ver Trimester, Archbishops College entered the second half of the final trimester of the College year. The academic year was fast approaching its end, in late June and thoughts of the pupils, staff and parents had already started to turn to the long Summer Holiday, the Feriae Aestivae that lasted for the months of July and August.
The Board of Governors of Archbishops College had recently approved a number of significant changes that would occur from the beginning of the next college academic year that would start in September. These rule changes were based on a proposal from the Headmaster supported by the two Deputy Headmasters and the Director of Health and Well-being.
The first rule change would be the reintroduction of the position of House Prefect (the senior prefect of a house) which had been abolished in 1974. House Prefects would be selected by the Headmaster and relevant Deputy Headmaster along with the relevant House Master from one of the seven Prefects of a house. They would continue to supervise one of the house dormitories whilst holding the House Prefect position and would be permitted to wear the traditional historical Archbishops College House Prefects Scarlet waistcoat to distinguish them from the other Prefects of the house.
The position of House Prefect was reintroduced, to enable the House Prefects to carry out very regular hygiene inspections on the other six dormitory prefects of their house, reducing the burden on the Head Prefect, who would under the new rules, only have to carry out hygiene inspections on the the ten house prefects of the Preparatory or Senior Schools.
The Head Prefect of the Senior School would also still carry out, as part of his duties, the Hygiene inspection of the Head Prefect of the Preparatory School and of the students of Head House in the Senior School as he was ex officio also the House Prefect of Head House. By tradition and convention the Head Prefect of the Senior School was normally exempted from Hygiene inspections but could be inspected by the Deputy Headmaster of the Senior School or the Headmaster if required.
The Board of Governor's had also approved that from the next academic year, the college would align fully with the age requirements of the Return to Traditional Values in the Unified Kingdom, with all the boys at the college being kept shaved of pubic and auxiliary hair, if they had grown any until they had turned sixteen years of age!
This new age rule would therefore encompass the whole of the Preparatory School including Prefects and Senior School boys in years Epsilon, Delta and Gamma. These three school years would all wear the shorter black lounge jacket with their Senior School uniform to indicate they were aged under sixteen years of age. If a boy in Gamma year had turned sixteen years of age he would be kept shaved till he graduated to Beta year. Alpha and Beta year boys would not be obliged to shave their pubic hair unless they choose to do so.
This new rule would mean that Senior School boys who were yet to grow pubic hair, would no longer be singled out as little boys' as all boys sixteen and under would now be deemed to be little boys' under the new rules based on the return to traditional values in the Unified Kingdom!
Alpha and Beta year boys who would all be aged sixteen or older, would continue to wear the full black morning suit coat that had until this rule change, been worn by all Senior School boys.
From the next school year, all Preparatory School boys, including Prefects would swim naked as would all boys in the Senior School, until they reached Beta Year. As a consequence of this, there would be no identification possible of Preparatory School Prefects by the wearing of swimming briefs, so the Preparatory School Prefects under this rule change would be identified in the swimming pool by wearing a black quarter inch wide flat rubber band around their right wrist whist swimming naked. House Prefects would wear a scarlet quarter inch flat rubber band and the Head Prefect would wear a white quarter inch flat rubber band around their right wrists.
It was also proposed that both Senior and Preparatory Prefects would also wear these bands during sports and physical education lessons to distinguish the prefects from other students who otherwise could be wearing identical sports uniforms.
The Headmasters proposals that the Governor's had adopted, argued that a revision to a simple, more traditional rule that applied to all boys would greatly reduce the mental stress of boys who previously would have been highlighted as `little boys'!
Soon after the Royal Visit to Archbishops College, His Majesty, King William the Fifth had announced that the Headmaster, Dr C A E Lyttelton had accepted the honorary position, as founding Chairperson of the newly created Royal Society for Traditional Values. The King had created the new Royal Society by issuing a Royal Charter formally granting royal prerogative and patronage by letters patent, which granted the Royal Society for Traditional Values the power and pre-eminence to formally codify and proclaim traditions, customs and behavioural requirements that should be adopted throughout the Unified Kingdom along with significant powers to conduct community educational initiatives about Traditional Values.
With the formalisation of Traditional Values on a National level through the Royal Society and the Headmasters heavy involvement, the implementation of the more complex aspects of traditional values were invariably trialed first at Archbishops College and it's sister school, St Dunstan's.
After the half trimester justitium (break) of the Ver Trimester the Headmaster had given a speech to the Senior Executive of Archbishops College about how Traditional Values should handle masturbation. He expressed the view that while private masturbation had been discouraged, it invariably happens and that it is very difficult to police and suppress. The Headmaster stated that in his opinion, private masturbation encouraged unrealistic fantasies and promoted excessive modesty and unnecessary shame.
The Headmaster outlined how the dilemma was that regular ejactulation was in fact essential to reproductive and mental health in males. He outlined four medically sound reasons for this: (1) it developed the muscles and cell production necessary for healthy fertility (2) it ensured that any ejaculate is always fresh and of good quality and that stale sperm does not remain in the body (3) it reduced the risk of prostate and testicular cancer in males when they get older and (4) it relieved mental and physical stress leading to better mental health if guilt was removed.
The Headmaster noted that apart from number four, similar medical arguments did not apply to girls, but nevertheless, he felt that in the interests of equality that it was unfair and patriachial for girls to be excluded and also, that for a girls first practical experiences of sexual relief to be at the hands of inexperienced boys, promotes unhealthy attitudes and undesirable outcomes in both young males and females.
The Headmaster therefore stated his personal belief that any masturbatory release, discharges the build up of hormones that is one of the principal causes of misbehaviour in young people and that regular guilt free controlled discharges promotes good behaviour, healthy attitudes, increased self confidence and greater personal happiness.
For this reason the Headmaster proposed that within the Traditional Values framework, young people of both genders should be discouraged from private masturbation and encouraged to learn appropriate and respectful sexual release behaviour before being old enough to commence actual 'adult' relationships. As such they should learn how to give release to others and accept such release from others, under responsible adult supervision to prevent the risks of abuse or premature sexual relationships developing.
A further feature of learning appropriate and respectful sexual behaviour in this manner, was that there should be a regular rotation of partners to give each young person experiences with as much variety as possible and prevent them from becoming infatuated with the first person that makes them experience sexual release.
To learn how to give release to others and accept such release from others, the Headmaster proposed that the younger children, at the college in Lota and Kappa years being eight to ten years old, should under responsible adult supervision, be allowed to witness this, perhaps in special lessons with older boy and girl 'volunteers' demonstrating, so as to desensitise them to sexual release activity and prevent excessive modesty building up, by showing that such things were normal,healthy, and traditional activities, once they are old enough to engage in them, themselves in Theta year!
The Headmaster acknowledged that in the modern enlightened society of the Unified Kingdom, his proposal assumed that all young people were potentially bisexual until they clearly stated a preference either way, so as to prevent them from being unduly influenced towards heterosexual behaviour by the more conservative expectations that had dominated the Unified Kingdom over the last century.
The new proposal the Headmaster stated would encourage people to be open minded in exploring who and what they are and would celebrate the process of self discovery rather than treating it as something private and shameful or that any given outcomes are worse than others. The adults supervising would need to be firm, fair, open-minded and not abusive in any way; motivated only to help the young people become fully rounded human beings.
The Headmaster expressed a desire to see such a regime trialled at St Dunstan's and at Archbishops College as well as among the children of the staff. The Headmaster had noted that His Majesty the King in private audience had been very supportive of the proposal and planned to implement it immediately within the Royal family and among the aristocracy. The King had expressed the belief that the new proposal could also help in reducing class differences, if esteemed young commoners, like the current Head Prefect of the Preparatory School, Matthew Parker and Miss Rowena Drysdale the Head Prefect elect of St Dunstan's Junior School were selected and given the opportunity to assist the Royal children in their development, both in giving and receiving sexual relief.
With the introduction of this proposal at Archbishops College, Sunday naked time sessions at the Drysdale residence, before swimming, became much more interactive with Rowena Drysdale, Matthew Parker, Leif Sorensen and Rhys Maxwell-Jenkins learning how to give sexual release to the others and accepting such sexual release from the others, under the responsible adult supervision of the Rev. Dr. Drysdale and his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Drysdale.
Rhys Maxwell-Jenkins, not unexpectedly, volunteered to be the first to experience release and Rowena Drysdale volunteered to be the first to give release, much to the relief of Leif Sorensen and Matthew Parker who were hugely embarrassed about performing such acts in public, especially in front of the Rev Dr. Drysdale, his wife.

With four weeks of the Ver Trimester remaining, the announcement was made at a full college assembly, of the two Head Prefects for the upcoming academic year by the Headmaster, Doctor Claude Aurelius Elliott Lyttelton PhD, MA, BA, Grad.Dip. Ed. The new Head Prefect of the Senior School of Archbishops College, to succeed Jaden Stamford Ellis, would be the current Lancaster House Dormitory 1 Prefect and former Head Prefect of the Preparatory School, from the current Beta year, Benjamin (Ben) William Charles Dobson and the new Head Prefect of the Preparatory School, to succeed Matthew Spencer Parker would be Angevin House, Dormitory 6 Prefect, Robert Mason Greaves.
The Deputy Headmaster - Senior School, Archdeacon, The Venerable Doctor Christopher Carey Sumner DTh, MTh, BTh, MA (Hon), then announced the ten House Prefects and the sixty Prefects of the Senior School for the upcoming College year and the Deputy Headmaster - Preparatory School, the Reverend Doctor Shore Drysdale PhD, MA, BA, BTh, Grad.Dip. Ed., announced the ten House Prefects and the sixty Prefects of the Preparatory School for the upcoming College year.
The day after the whole college assembly, Matthew Parker had one of his last fortnightly oversight meeting with the Rev. Dr. Drysdale. One of the things that was always reviewed at these scheduled meetings was the Head Prefects Report. The Rev. Dr. Drysdale raised the Head Prefects noted concern that some Preparatory School Prefects were still not shaving off their pubic and pit hair as required by the return to Traditional Values, despite repeated encouragement and warnings by the Head Prefect.
After much discussion with Parker, the Deputy Headmaster, the Rev. Dr. Drysdale came to a decision and instructed Head Prefect Parker to undertake under his authority, a special naked body shaving inspection day for all Preparatory School Prefects.
As these inspections would be very time consuming, involving inspecting all seventy prefects of the Preparatory School, the Rev. Dr. Drysdale authorised Matthew Parker to make use of the assistance of two most immediate past Head Prefects, Leif Sorensen and Rhys Maxwell-Jenkins along with administrative assistance from his Clerk, Charles West. and the Deputy Headmaster offered his own twelve year old daughter, Rowena Drysdale as an additional administrative assistant to Parker on the day.
Matthew Parker was surprised at the Deputy Headmasters suggestion to use his daughter as an assistant. When he questioned her attendance due to the fact that the Prefects would be naked, the Rev. Dr. Drysdale explained that Rowena was used to seeing boys naked at Sunday swimming and that the return to Traditional Values meant that nudity at appropriate times was quite acceptable and that he felt she need to gain confidence around naked boys now that the Sexual Release aspects of Traditional Values was being fully implemented. In addition his daughter would soon be publicly announced as the Head Prefect elect of St Dunstan's Junior School and the Rev. Dr. Drysdale wanted his daughter to study how Matthew Parker handled his Prefects.
Parker was relieved that his reaction to the comment that Rowena need to gain confidence around boys was not not obvious to the Deputy Headmaster. Matthew Parker knew from first hand experience that Rowena Drysdale was not at all lacking in confidence around boys!
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale concluded his justification for Rowena's presence by informing Parker that her presence would also provide a degree of added humiliation to the shaving inspections, which he felt would help to reinforce that shaving of pubic hair was now a non negotiable expectation of all Preparatory School Prefects and boys.
The Deputy Headmaster informed Parker that the inspection would take place in the Head Prefects rooms the next Wednesday and that all the Prefects would be inspected in groups of ten, one Prefect from each of the ten houses at a session and one group straight after the other, all seven groups inspected on the one day during class time, starting at nine AM precisely and finishing around four PM. Mrs Morris, the Deputy Headmasters Secretary would be asked to prepare appointment notices for each Prefect that he would sign and which Parker should have Charles West deliver at the appropriate times to the relevant class master to extract the ten Prefects required for each group from their classes.
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale informed Parker that he would keep the door between his office and the Head Prefects corridor open so that he could supervise proceedings and that Parker should keep the door to his rooms and the corridor open at all times during the shavings. Parker, Sorensen, Maxwell-Jenkins and West would all be excused from attending classes all that Wednesday and that he would advise St Dunstan's College, his daughters college, of her non attendance that Wednesday.
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale further instructed that whilst Parker, Sorensen, Maxwell-Jenkins, West and his daughter would all be totally clothed, all the prefects regardless of wether they were yet to grow pubic hair or had shaved it off as instructed, should along with the Prefects who had not shaved, be made to strip off all clothing and accessories they were wearing in the corridor outside the Head Prefects rooms and sit naked on the long bench under the supervision of his daughter, before being sent in to the Head Prefects rooms. This the Rev. Dr. Drysdale said would greatly add to the whole cohort of Prefects disgrace at the fact that some of the Prefects had not shaved as required by Traditional Values.
Parker raised the issue that quite a few Prefects were shaving or had yet to grow pubic hair and their stripping in the corridor seemed unfair, as they had followed directions. The Rev. Dr. Drysdale dismissed the unfairness of the action. He stated that the Prefects were a cohort and the acts of defiance by a few had impact upon the whole, as far as he was concerned.
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale informed Parker that he desired that when it was time for the Prefect to be inspected naked, he should be made to stand in front of the Head Prefect, in the Head Prefects Room and raise his arms above his head. The Prefects naked body should then be closely inspected by Parker to see if and where he was growing hair and if he had pubes, pit hair or anal hair that had not been shaved off.
Those who had shaved within the last two days and those who were still naturally bald could then go back and wait naked at the bench in the corridor until the group of ten they were part of was finished and dismissed by Parker before dressing.
Those errant Prefects who had not shaved, or were shaving irregularly, should be informed, that as they had been asked repeatedly to shave in line with Traditional Values rules and because they had not complied, they would now have their hair cut to a number two buzz haircut and their pubic and auxiliary hair removed by Maxwell-Jenkins and Sorensen inside the Head Prefects rooms.
The Prefect should be made to move to the centre of the Head Prefects rooms and stand in the middle of a drop cloth that should be laid out on the floor in the study. Parker should then have Maxwell-Jenkins use an electric clipper, because he had some experience with their use, to quickly cut down to stubble any pubic or pit hair that the errant Prefect had and then as additional punishment, Maxwell-Jenkins should use the same clippers to administer a number two buzz cut of the hair on the errant Prefects head.
To achieve the number two cut quickly, the Rev. Dr. Drysdale suggested that the Prefect be instructed to kneel down on their knees with their hands behind their back in the middle of the drop cloth after their pubes and pit hair had been clipped. The Rev. Dr. Drysdale also suggested that Parker arrange to temporarily move a full length mirror from the Drysdale residence into his study and positioned it where the Prefect could see himself whilst his head was being buzz cut!
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale explained to Parker how all the Prefects tend to take pride in their hair and appearance, seeing it as an integral part of their status and what makes them who they are. To be made to have a buzz cut would be a particularly humiliating and embarrassing procedure for any boy, but especially for a Prefect, as there is no possibility of the errant Prefect hiding the buzz hair cut punishment from their fellow students!
Reducing the Prefects hair to a number two cut would also serve as a constant reminder to the Prefect and the ordinary pupils for the remaining weeks of the academic year, that despite his Prefects clothing and status, that he is still subject to the discipline routines of the college.
After the buzz cut, the Rev. Dr. Drysdale informed Parker that the Prefect should then sent over to Sorensen, who should be stationed at the portable massage table that the Deputy Headmaster would arrange with Matron to be assembled in Parker's study. The Prefect should be instructed to lie on their back, spread-eagled and Sorensen should lay a hot wet towel on the Prefects groin for 30 to 60 seconds before removing it and then covering the groin area with shaving cream and carefully shaving the Prefects groin smooth before shaving the boys armpits if required.
Sorensen should then have the Prefect roll onto his stomach and have the Prefect raise up on all fours, spread his knees apart and push his bottom up a much as possible. This would spread apart and expose the Prefects anus, giving a clear view of, and easy access to, that area so that any hair around his anus could be shaved away.
The Rev. Dr. Drysdale informed Parker that he believed that the body shaving and the buzz cut, would be a very humbling experience for the Prefect. Regressing him physically but also allowing him to be regressed mentally as well. The whole process of this humbling, humiliating experience should affect the Prefect deeply and make him realise the seriousness of his errant behaviour!
Finally the Rev. Dr. Drysdale said that he would also arrange with Matron for the supply of clippers, shaving supplies, a pan for hot water, plastic baskets for clothing storage, hand towels, a ground sheet and a massage table. The Rev. Dr. Drysdale also suggested that Parker have his slipper and cane handy, just in case they were needed for any additional discipline of an uncooperative Prefect.
The Prefects were to know nothing of the Rev. Dr. Drysdale's decision before the day and the Deputy Headmaster said that he would require that Parker, Sorensen, Maxwell-Jenkins, West and his daughter Rowena did not mention the upcoming prefectural shave inspections to anyone.
The corridor outside the Head Prefects room was not just a corridor. Yes, this short corridor connected the Deputy Headmasters study to the outside but in doing that, it went past the door of the Head Prefects rooms, enabling boys to visit the Head Prefect without disturbing the Deputy Headmaster or his Secretary and it allowed the Deputy Headmaster, direct access to the Head Prefects rooms and outside and vice versa.
When Parker had appointed Charles West as his clerk he had arranged for a shallow depth old style school desk and a chair to be placed in the corridor outside his rooms and it was pushed up against the far wall of the corridor on the opposite side to the door to his study, next to where a long timber bench seat had for time immemorial resided, which was used by boys waiting to see the Head Prefect. This was where the ten naked Prefects in each group would sit and wait after arrival and stripping naked, ready to be called up for their body inspection.
Matthew Parker had sorted the appointment letters that Mrs. Morris had prepared into groups based on what Parker had planned for the day. He made sure that the new Head Prefect elect, Robert Greaves was in Group One, so he could stay after his inspection and witness the inspection of Group Two, which would compromise Greave's House Prefects for the following academic year.
Matthew Parker composed the remainder of Group One out of the seven Zeta Year Prefects he suspected the most likely to not be conforming to the traditional values rules, even if that Prefect had not had pubic hair at his last Prefects Inspection.
At Archbishops College, titled students of the nobility, by long standing tradition since the founding of the college, were referred to by their surname and not by their title, to discourage elitism. Despite not being permitted to use their title whilst at Archbishops College, it was almost universally known among the student body who was of the nobility and what their noble title was.

When the Prefects who comprised Group One arrived in ones and two's from their classes, they all without exception were taken aback with the presence of Rowena Drysdale. When they queried her presence, Head Prefect Parker pointed up the corridor to the open door to the Deputy Headmasters study and the Rev. Dr. Drysdale who was seated at his desk, supervising from a distance the proceedings.
Matthew Parker then informed the obviously nervous and agitated Prefects once the whole of Group One had assembled, "The Deputy Headmaster is ensuring that Traditional Value nudity involves young people of both genders to encourage appropriate and respectful naked behaviour, so today Miss Drysdale will be supervising both Charles West who is keeping records and all of the assembled Prefects. She will be ensuring that you are stripped of your clothes and totally naked ready for my full inspection of your bodies!"
Parker then informed the Prefects, "If any Prefect is found to not be supporting the Return to Traditional Values by ensuring that they have shaved off their pubic and pit hair, despite repeated encouragement and warnings by me as required by the return to Traditional Values, they will be shaved here today by the immediate two past Head Prefects who are assisting me. This shaving will include a number two buzz haircut, to emphasise that the Prefect has been disciplined for not conforming to Traditional Value rules."
What Parker did not tell the assembled Prefects was that the Deputy Headmaster also wanted his daughter present because her presence would provide a degree of added humiliation to the shaving inspections.
Without exception all the Prefects present were in triple shock, first at the news that the reason for their attendance was a naked full body inspection, second that if they had pubic hair and had not shaved, they were to receive a number two buzz haircut and three that Rowena Drysdale was going to supervise their undressing and see them naked.
When none of the Prefects made any effort to start undressing voluntarily, Rowena quickly ordered, "Hurry up boys, I want you to remove all your Prefects clothes here in this corridor, place then in the tubs under the bench and when naked sit on the bench till the Head Prefect calls you in to his rooms for your inspection and remember, no covering up!"
Edward Marriott was not tall for his nearly thirteen years of age and his body was completely white showing no signs of even a slight tan. His penis was still boyishly thin, flaccid it was a length of two and a half inches and erect it was nearly four inches.
