Chapter 3:

William turned off the shower water, grabbed his towel from the curtain bar, and started to towel off. As he took the towel away from his face, he lazily dragged his fingers across the scars. He sighed slightly before tying the towel around his waist.

As he walked down the hall toward December's room, he could faintly hear December and June arguing about something. Standing at the top of the stairs, he crouched there and listened in as best as he could.

"....need to tell him event..... or you'll lose him!" June said. "But... worst fear! He'll hate me! .... Leave me." December said back. "What would December need to tell me that would make me leave him?" Will thought. "Well, he's going to find out sooner or later with how you're dad and my dumb-shit of a brother are acting. They'll rip his fucking head off." June said. Will could tell she was becoming irritated. "Fine... later today... maybe."

Will stood up baffled at what he had just heard. Apparently, there is a massive secret that December is keeping from him but, what the hell is it?

William stood back up and walked the rest of the way into the bedroom and started to change before he went downstairs. As he walked he could still hear the bickering but it was too far away for him to hear what they were saying. He closed the door and leaned up against it. All he looked at was the bed; a bed that held so much more meaning to him then it had ever before. This had been the bed that December and he had shared last night like many nights before, but last night, they made love in it.

The memories of that night swirled around in Will's head as he pulled on articles of clothing. The fury body, the strong arms, and that dick... Jesus Christ! All of it meant so much to him and he hoped that it could happen many, many, many more times. Now it all stood on the brink of this apparent deal breaking secret of December's, and that scared him.

Will descended the stairs and now, he didn't hear any arguing. He entered the kitchen where December turned around from the stove where he was cooking bacon and embraced William. "Hey Will." December said happily. "Hey yourself." December held onto his shoulders, leaned down and kissed him on the lips. "Get a room." June scolded jokingly. "Fuck off." December said smiling. "Was you're shower nice? Do you want any bacon?" He asked Will. "It's bacon, is it even a question? And the shower was nice." He said. December smiled and loaded up a plate of bacon for Will. June winked at December as he turned around. "Fuck off." December thought. "In your dreams." She said and wiggled her eyebrows. Will noticed the aggravation on December's face and looked back and forth between the two as he put a slice of bacon in his mouth. "Am I missing something?" he asked after he swallowed. December look at will. "Besides June being a bitch, no." "No argument." She said and Will sniggered. December grabbed some food and Will and he sat at the bar with June. "Do you think he heard us at all?" June thought. "I sure hope not." December said. "Or else I'm in deep shit at this point." "Yeah, you'd be screwed."

When they were finished breakfast, dishes loaded into the dishwasher, and Will went back upstairs to gather his few things, leaving the cousins in the foyer area of the house. "You don't want to leave him by himself, do you?" June asked, judging by the agitated look on his face. "Not really, no. My dad is up to something, and especially since August is around being his douche self." December said, getting angrier as he spoke. "I think I'm going to have a little chat with my brother." June said devilishly just as William bound down the stairs. "Ready to go babe?" December asked. "Yup." He said with a grin. "See you boys later. I have an errand to go do, December. I'll be back before dinner." June said as the boys were opening the door, and then turned around herself to go up the stairs.

In the car driving down the road, December could see will fidgeting in his seat. "Is something wrong Will?" December asked. Will looked out the window and then at December. "I heard June and you talking in the kitchen this morning." He said softly. December felt a rock in his stomach. "Oh..." was all he was able to choke out. "What's this big secret of yours, December. It's scaring me and I don't get scared over much." Will said concerned. December was stuck for words, trapped in his worst fear. He kept driving and driving but he didn't answer. "December!" William screamed at him. December pulled off to the side of the deserted back country road and got out of the car. "Where the hell are you going?!" William yelled at him, getting out of the car as well, more pissed off than ever because December wasn't responding. "You want to know so god damn bad?" December yelled, not turning around. "Then just follow me." Without another word, they both walked deep into the tree line, Will becoming a little worried about how far they were going into the woods with the wolves out here. Little did he know, he was with one.

After walking deep into the woods where no one could hear them, December turned around. It wasn't a clearing, no, it was a darkened area where not much light shined through the thick tree line above and there was not much vegetation living on the forest floor. "Why the hell are we way the f-fuck out here?" Will said, stuttering some, trying to still sound angry but getting terrified as his past played mind games with him and paranoia grew. December walked up to him, giving him an intense stare then, wrapped him in his arms and kissed him fiercely. After a little while, they rested their heads on each other's shoulders. "I would never do anything to intentionally hurt you Will. Please know that. I just... I don't want to lose you baby. Your everything to me and... I love you." December said into Will's shoulder and Will held tighter. "I love you too." Will said. December released and took a few steps back. Will watched with confusion. "Whatever your about to see..." December started and then look directly at Will "Just remember what I said, I love you. I will never hurt you." Will nodded his head.

With an animalistic roar, December's body grew larger and taller, white hair took over his skin, and his body transformed into his true form.

Will's eyes grew ten times in size and he fell back on his butt. His loving boyfriend was his one true fear and what almost ended his life so long ago. December went down on now his all four paws and his white as snow hair seemed to glow along with his ice blue eyes. As majestic and beautiful he looked, Will couldn't see past his past. He scrambled to get up. "You're a fucking monster, oh my god!" he was in hysterics. December took one step forward and Will turned around and ran... right into an oak tree. He fell back down flat on his back, groaning. December rushed to his side and looked down at his wounded man. "Will!" he screamed inside his head but it was unheard to Will himself. The was a stream of blood streaming down Will's face from the impact to the tree. December lay down beside him and started licking away the blood that came out. "Whaa.. what's going..." Will started until he remember what just happened. He tried to get up but December moved his massive paw on top of him to hold him down. Stuck, Will tried to squirm his way out from under him. "Let me go!" He yelled. December looked Will dead in the eyes and growled softly. Will stopped and December went back to licking the wound. Realizing he wasn't going to die, Will settled and let what was happening continue. "I'm still mad at you." Will said and December grunted.

When December was satisfied that the blood was gone, he stopped licking and lay next to Will but Will, had little reaction. He was obviously pissed. December tried snuggling up a little bit but Will pushed him away. "No, December, just... NO!" Will yelled and December whimpered from the scolding. "Oh don't even give me that shit. Your kind tried to kill me, they killed all my friends! I was ten years old and I saw all of my friends get killed. How do you think that affected me?" Will started to remember that night and his eyes started to water. December was covering his eyes with his paws feeling ashamed. He hated how the love of his life was rejecting him, his true him, not the buff sweet boyfriend that Will knew. "Look at me!" Will said quietly but sternly. You could hear the tears in his words. December looked at him slowly to see a broken version of the Will he knew. He was crying, standing there. He looked alone, afraid, but mostly, hurt. He had betrayed him and that's what hurt the most in William's perspective. "This..." Will said pointing at his scars "...was given to me by a wolf. That yellow bastard would have finished me if some white..." Will lost all of his anger in that one moment, in that memory, looking at the white wolf before him, and in his memories. "Oh my fucking god." Will whispered. "Oh my fucking god... oh my fucking god it was you!" Will said with a light in his eyes and awe on his face.

December slowly stood and walked over to Will. Will put his hands on the furry face and they looked into each other's eyes. "You saved me." Will whispered. December changed back to his human form and looked back at Will. December was completely naked. "I couldn't let anything happen to you. I was against attacking children. June and I, we don't go after humans. I couldn't go against him at the time, I was too afraid to be kicked out of the pack but, one I saw you..." December trailed off, looking at Will with love. It was written all over his face. "... I knew you were the one. I couldn't let my father kill you. He is the one baby that..." December said, looking down at the ground. Will touched his scar. "Oh." Was all he said. "You kept me alive, December." Will said caressing December's cheek and December looked up at him. "So..." he started biting his lip. "...are we okay?" he asked. Will smiled a little and kissed December's lips, lightly bighting the bottom one. December licked at Will's lips and Will parted his lips so their tongues could meet. Once they separated, they both were smiling and blushing. "I'll take that as a yes." December said and Will nodded. December wrapped his arms around Will and held him tight. "I love you." "I love you too December." They would have stayed like that for long but they were in the forest, and December was naked. "Let's get out of here. I need to get you home." December said, and they both stood and walked to the car, hand in hand.

August stood in the outlining tree lining outside of Will's house. His mother had left not too long ago and December's car was rolling to a stop in front of the house. He watched as they kissed goodbye and Will walked up to and into the home. August has a sly grin planted on his face. "Time for some fun." He said and took one step forward before he was stopped. "Brother! What an unpleasant surprise to see you here." She said walking toward him in mini shorts and tank top. Her hair flowed behind her. "Get out of here June." August rumbled, flexing his muscles at her and she burst out laughing. "Get over yourself. Those muscles mean nothing, I can and will kick your ass if you don't turn around right now and go back home." "No, I have orders." He said starting to walk again. June's eyes narrowed. She broke off a large branch from the tree next to her and swung. The loud crack and thud of August being struck by the branch and falling down made her grin. "Orders, from who, Uncle Dickwad, please." She said, amused. August got up and charged her. She tripped him. "Sloppy, so sloppy. Your anger gets the best of you." As she started to walk away, August stood up and let out a menacing roar, his body exploding into his wolf form. June twisted her head and ducked just before August pounced. She too, transformed.

August skidded in the dirt and glared at her. He charged and tackled June to the ground, his muzzle snarling. June dug her claws into his skin and he let out a yelp. They started rolling on the ground until August threw her off and into a tree. She whimpered helplessly on the ground as August slowly stalked toward her. He pounced, but June was ready and bit his neck, blood dripping down to the ground and in their fur. August hopped and moved around rapidly swinging June loose from her death grip, and then changing back into his human form. "Fine, fuck this! This won't be the only time he'll be alone. Fuck you June." And he started running away. June changed back as well. "Love you too!" she called after him, waving her hand high in the air. Once he was out of site, she walked over to her shredded cloths and pulled out her phone to texted December

J: August was at Will's house. D: What!?!?! J: Beat his ass. He's gone. D: Fuck fuck fuck. I'm going over there now. He knows about us now. I told him/ showed him. J: Seriously, how did it go? D: Bad, then worse, then pretty good 

Will walked inside the house and set his bag down by the stairwell. "Mom?" he called, but there was no answer. Like usual when she didn't answer, he walked into the kitchen and like always, there was a yellow piece of paper with writing.

William, had an emergency at work. Not sure when I will be home but I will let you know. Love, Mom

Will sighed and walked into the study where the grand piano sat. He sat at the seat and started playing Just Give Me A Reason by Pink. Right at the climax of the song, a furious animalistic roar shook the glass on the house and Will froze in his spot. A few seconds after he regained his nerve, he crept over to the window that looked out to the forest but saw nothing. The eeriness of the situation still frightened him. When his phone buzzed, he about jumped through the ceiling. He walked back over to his phone and looked at the screen. New Message: December

D: I'm coming back to your house, will your mom mind? W: No, she's not even here. What's wrong. D: It will be easier to explain when I get there. Love you

Will set his phone back down on the piano and sat back down as well. Taking a deep breath in and out, he cracked his knuckles and resumed playing.
