Blake's Love 5
"Honesty" ________________________
How could Chris do that? I knew that Charlie was a little too anxious to tell me he was gay. I just can't believe Chris would go behind my back, and actually try to get me to cheat on him with someone.
After I heard the message, I walked over to Chris' bed and sat down, I stared at the wall until I heard the door open.
"Hey baby, why the gloomy face..."
"Play the machine message Chris." I snapped back.
"Hmm, ok." Chris said, obviously puzzled.
He walked over and pressed play. The message started, and I stared at the floor
"Uhm, yeah. Hey Chris. This is Charlie, sorry I didn't get to call earlier, but I just wanted to tell you that I tried everything I knew to get Blake to cheat on you. He passed; he's really a great guy. Good luck man."
This time the message almost made me cry, it was just so unbelievable, like a terrible dream. There was no waking up this time though. It was real.
"Blake, let me explain..."
"What's there to explain, I know what you did, it was plain and simple in the message."
"Blake, it was his idea, he wanted to make sure you were as true as you really are, I love you." Chris said.
If that were really true Chris, why would you let someone do that, YOU are the one that needs to trust in me. Not one of your friends from Sheperdsville." I replied harshly.
"Blake, please. I know it was wrong. I never met it to hurt you."
"I don't really give a fuck what you didn't mean to do." I said getting up to leave.
"I really don't want to talk to you Chris, this is the worst day of my life, and just to think, it started out as one of the best. I was finally back with you, we had a wonderful conversation this afternoon, I can now be open about everything with Rosa. But you ruined it. I'm leaving." I said walking towards the door.
Chris jumped in front of me before I got to the door. He put his hands on my chest as I tried to push through.
"Blake, please don't go. Can't we talk about it?"
"You've got 5 minutes, and it better be good." I said.
It hurt me so much to say something like that to Chris. My one and only betrayed me. I was about to cry, and I could tell Chris was trying really hard to think of something to say.
"Blake, it's like this: I love you with all my heart, and when you told me that you followed me to the mall a few weeks ago, I didn't know what you think. The way I looked at it was if you didn't think you could trust me, and then you would try to find trust somewhere else. I talked to Charlie on the phone and he brought up the subject. He thought that if you were really in love with me, then you wouldn't try to mess around with him. Charlie is gay, I met him on the Internet, but he in no way likes you like he said he did. I can promise you I had good intentions with all this, I swear. I love you with all my heart." Chris said pleadingly.
"Chris, that's nice, and it does help me understand more about the situation, but why would you do it? Why not just come to me and talk?" I asked.
"Because I'm a coward. I was too scared to face you with it. What if you really did lose trust in me? What if you kept thinking that I was meeting and seeing people behind your back? I don't know what I would have done if you felt that way. So I honestly was a coward, and couldn't confront you." He replied.
By this time I had worked my way back to the bed and sat down. What Chris was saying actually did make sense. I guess I would have felt about the same way he did if I was put in that situation. I stood back up. Chris was still standing in front of the door.
"Chris, I still need some time to think about all this." I said heading for the door a second time.
"Blake, please."
"I'll call you later." I replied.
I got to the door and at first he didn't move, I pushed through him, but he grabbed my wrist and twisted me back around. He looked me right in the eyes.
"I love you with all my heart Blake." He said in a quiet tone.
"I don't know what I would do without you in my life, I care for you more than you could ever imagine. I would give my life for you." He continued, pulling me closer to him.
I didn't know what to do; Chris was my first love, and the only love I've felt. He was my true love. He was still looking me straight in the eyes. I was like butter, I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, I couldn't even see straight.
He nuzzled my cheek with his nose, and gave me a light kiss right next to my mouth. He kissed my neck, and licked the tip of my chin.
"I love you Blake." He said pulling me back into his room. I still didn't have much control; I didn't know whether I should follow him or try to leave again. But he obviously didn't want me to go.
He pulled me over towards his bed and sat me down next to him. I was just staring off towards the other side of the room. He lightly grabbed my chin and pulled my face towards his.
"I'm sorry Blake, I promise I'll talk to you the next time I feel insecure, please accept my apology."
"I-I accept Chris, I love you." I could barely get the words out of my mouth. Not because I was afraid to say them, but because Chris had his tongue down my throat by the time I said, "accept."
He kissed me like he would never be able to again. He realized this was our first major fight and how close his mistakes had made it to being our last. I had started kissing back by this time, and Chris stood up pulling my face towards his. He was kissing so passionately; I never felt anything like it before. He put his left knee on the bed, pushing me onto my back and crawling on top of me. I was being kissed like I've always dreamed of. It was a feeling so good, like one of those feelings that made you almost spew in your pants. I was grabbing all over Chris' chest, and putting my hands down the back of his pants squeezing his firm cheeks while he continued to kiss me and take off my shirt.
"Oh god Blake, I love you so much, you are the greatest thing that ever happened to me." Chris said out of breath for kissing me so wonderfully.
I know I've said this a number of times, but everytime Chris kisses me, they get better and better. I wonder if that's because he's really getting better, or I just love him more and more each time. Either way, they were wonderful, perfect, and I couldn't live without them.
"Chris, I love you too, I'm so sorry I got so pissed over this. I want you, I want you now and forever." I replied, starting to kiss him again.
"Blake, is it the right time?"
"I think, oh god yes it is." I replied grabbing his shirt and practically ripping it off.
His skin color, tanned on top of being 1/2 Latino was the most beautiful thing. His khakis and the black belt he had on made it look even better. I had this major thing for guys in khakis with no shirt on. The belt only added to his cuteness somehow. He was tenting major and I was so ready to pull off his belt when he got off of me and peered out the window.
"What the fuck is this? The goddamned worse timing in the world?"
"What is it Chris?" I said getting up and walking behind him slipping my hands around his waste.
"My loser of a step-dad is home." He replied turning around to me.
"We better get dressed then, huh?" I asked.
"Unfortunately, yeah." He said with the saddest look on his face.
"Baby, don't worry about it, if this wasn't meant to be the time, then it just wasn't. Either way, I know I'll be thinking of you later when I whack off." I said showing a smile.
"Ha, yeah, same here."
"You know Blake, you don't have to go just because my step-dad's home. You can stay, we just gotta keep the evening "G" rated." Chris said.
"That's cool, I can stay for awhile." I replied.
We pretty much spent the rest of the day together. I ate dinner at his house and then headed home for the night. I had to go with my father to Portland in the morning, which was about 25 miles away. Some business deal that he wanted me to oversee. I was "supposed to know all this stuff by now" because I'm taking over the business in about 10-15 years.
My Dad is co-owner of Yestler-Thomas Industries, which is involved in a development project in downtown Portland. I was going to oversee some of the paperwork that went along with the deal. I guess it was a shopping center with some luxury apartments above. Wish me luck.
Blake's Love 5.5
"Holidays" _________________________
Well, school started without a hitch, Chris and I had gym (oh yeah) and Algebra 2 together. Christmas break is starting tomorrow and I totally cannot wait.
Over the last few months, Chris and I have come a long way in our relationship. We can pretty much talk to each other about anything and everything. That whole incident is in the past, I've come to understand why Chris would do it, and Charlie is becoming a close friend to us both. We've hung out a few times since that then, and he felt like shit for it all too. We've all tried to forget the past and concentrate on the future.
Rosa and I have also opened up since she told me she knew about Chris and I.
We talk regularly. I'm so grateful to have someone I care about so much to accept the way I am. Like I've always said, she's like a mother to me, I don't know what I would do without her.
Today's Wednesday, tomorrow is our last day and I have Friday, December 22nd all the way to Tuesday, January 9th 2001 off. I'm really looking forward to it; school is such a damn play session to me. Anyways, I've had great grades, so I can't complain too much.
Chris and I are going Christmas shopping tomorrow night, I'm sure the malls will be just wonderful. Guess that's what I get for waiting so late to get my gifts.
"Hey Chris." I said calling him on my cell phone. I was just about to hop in the car and go get him to start our Christmas shopping. I wanted to make sure he was ready.
"You about ready to go?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'll be waiting out front, don't take too long." He replied.
"Be there ASAP. Bye bye sweets." I said hanging up.
Chris sure has changed. I wondered how he could get better than he was, but he's showed me lately. He is just so, so, wonderful! There's no other way to explain it at all.
"Blake's Taxi service." I said as Chris hopped in my Impala.
"Hey baby." Chris said smiling over at me and rubbing my thigh.
We touched a lot more now. We tried to make our relationship as close to a "normal" straight relationship as possible. I hate some of the drama a gay relationship has, and I can gladly say that's not how Chris and I's relationship is.
We still haven't gone all the way yet. Of course we've made out, and we've had a few touchy feely sessions, but he's never made me orgasm, and I assume I've never made him.
Chris quit asking, "When the right time is" after we had to stop that night because of his step-dad. He figured out it will be much better if it comes naturally. I tried planning all that with the candles and look what happened. I made Chris cry and it left opportunities slim to none the rest of that weekend. Thank goodness that we didn't do anything then, we were going out for less than a week. That would have totally sucked. Once you bring sex in a relationship, that's all it will ever be. I want to bring love into the relationship, and the only way to do that is to make love to Chris, and that needs no planning. It'll come when it's ready to. What I'm trying to say is Chris and I could have sex anytime, but it wouldn't be worth it.
"So, what's up with your mom, I haven't talked to her in a few days?" I asked Chris.
"Ahh, her and my step-dad have been out shopping and stuff a lot. I guess for me, but who knows." He replied.
"Yeah, my mom and dad went to Chicago to shop." I said laughing.
"What's funny about that?" Chris asked.
"THEY WENT TO CHICAGO TO SHOP!!" I screamed.
"Who goes to another state to shop?" I continued.
"Well, I think it's cool, wish my mom would have done that." Chris said.
My mom and dad have some kind of schedule thing every Christmas, they want to get Jamie and I a present from a different city every year. So, who knows where they will be shopping next year.
"Why weren't you in Algebra today?" I asked Chris.
"I was down in the library, Miss Bell wanted me to help her carry in some shipments of books." He replied.
"You do know that you missed mid-term finals, right?" I asked.
"I did them last hour, because I didn't have a final then." Chris said.
"Oh, OK." I said a little puzzled, he never missed classes before.
Chris was a popular kid. I never realized it as much last year as this year, but I definitely can tell now. He's got a lot more popularity than me. I wish I knew why, but I do OK. I'm just happy to know he's my boyfriend.
We got to the mall and shopped around the usual places. I always went to Abercrombie first, and then went back when I didn't see anything better anywhere else. I bought my brother's and Chris' gift there, I tried to hide what I picked out for him, I don't know if he seen it or not, but it's a really cute turtleneck sweater. I got my bro the same thing, only in a different design and color.
I got my Dad's gift at JCPenny. I really couldn't find anything I liked, so I picked him up a new wallet and got him a $75 dollar gift certificate.
Finally I stopped in Bath and Body works and got my mom a really cute gift basket full of all the good smelling stuff. Especially Pear-Berry. God, I love that smell.
Chris got his Mom a black sweater at Limited, and his step-dad a watch at Oasis Jewelers. I tried peaking at what he got me, but I couldn't see it at all.
I planned on going back to Abercrombie and picking Chris up a few more things I seen, and a leather Jacket I seen in Marshall Field's.
I love Christmas; my house gets decorated from head to toe, inside and out. We have over 6,000 lights on the outside of our house. It's completely covered. Inside we have a 14-foot tree in our front room. We have cathedral ceilings, so it's like 18 foot from floor to ceiling. The tree looks really cool too, because you can see the bottom half through the French doors in front of our house, and it's so tall, you can see the top through the windows on the second floor.
Chris and his family decorate, but I always have tried to get him and his mom to do more. I love the whole season. Winter is just the most awesome time of year.
Chris and I were getting tired and only had a few more stores to browse around in. Lines were getting long, and I'm sure I'd have a lot of fun getting out of the parking lot.
"Damn, it's hot in here." I said fanning my shirt in and out.
"Only because you're in here." Chris said tweaking my nipple.
"Oh geez, get off me you horny little bitch." I said smacking his hand.
"WHAT?! It's soo the truth." He said defensively.
"Hey, you aren't getting any disagreements here, but my nipple was hard enough as it is." I replied.
Chris was trying to grow his hair out a little bit; it was starting to fall in his eyes every time he moved his head. I brushed it back and whispered, "I love you" near his ear. He smiled and pushed his hair back further. He had dyed the tips blonde a couple months ago, and they grew out. I think that is so sexy. I still have my hair the same old way. It's still dark blonde, parted down the middle and without hairspray or gel. That stuff ruins your hair. I just combed through it, it's silky and just falls down in my face. To be honest, the way my hair is now, is the way Chris is trying to grow his out. Unfortunately, his hair may be a little too thick to go exactly like mine, but it's looking good.
Anyone besides me ever wonder why the world is so obsessed with hair? Hair is made of dead cells; it's not like something you must have to survive. I think it makes people look good, don't get me wrong, but I still wonder why we have it.
We finally got through the lines at Barnes and Noble Books; Chris got his Mom a cookbook she had asked for. We decided to make your last stop Tower Records. We browsed the CD's and DVD's. I bought The Skulls and picked up the Billy Gilman Christmas CD. After standing in line there for about 20 minutes we gathered our coats from the lockers and headed out of the mall.
As I suspected the parking lot was a madhouse. It took me 20 minutes to find a parking place this afternoon, and now every car you seen was at a stand still. It took me about 10 minutes just to get backed out of my parking spot because all the assholes wouldn't let me out. Then once someone was kind enough to let me out, we stayed in the same spot for about another 10 minutes. After all was said and done, I ran 3 stop signs, cut more than a few people off, and it wound up taking 40 minutes for me to get out of the damned parking lot. Was I a little agitated? You better believe it, I was shaking. I get so nervous driving. That was the first time I ever drove in that much traffic.
It seems that everyone loses their senses around Christmas time, and I was certainly one of them, because I would have started ramming cars if I didn't get out of that parking lot when I did. I lose patience very easily.
Chris invited me over for dinner. His mom was home and she made us shrimp salad. We at and went up to his room for a while. We popped The Skulls in his DVD player and snuggled under the blankets on his bed. Of course his door was locked, and he always pushed a chair next to it in case the latch decided to give way.
I really don't think that his Mom would freak if she seen anything, it's just that we wanted to be able to snuggle like we were now. If my parents found out, that definitely wouldn't happen very often, and his Mom found out, we probably wouldn't be able to be under the covers together.
Chris' hands as always strayed up under my shirt and were rubbing over my stomach. I was sitting in front of his and he sort of rested his head on my shoulder or he would lay it back on the wall. I was rubbing his arm and just being explorative. It was the times like this that I really loved to share with Chris. I love being held, and being in his arms is the ultimate security.
The Skulls ended - it was a really good movie, and Paul Walker is always a cutie. Chris and I laid together for an hour or so just talking, snuggling, touching, kissing. It was going on 11 o'clock by the time I decided to head on out.
When I got home, Rosa was packed and ready to go to her Mother's house for the weekend, I kissed her goodbye and walked inside.
I went straight to my room and went to sleep. I had to help my Mom bake cookies and prepare Christmas Eve dinner for the next couple days. Christmas was Sunday, and I had stuff to do tomorrow. Helping my Mom was just one. I had to go back to the mall and get those other gifts for Chris.
My Mom's side of the family comes over on Christmas Eve, and my Dad's side comes over on Christmas Day. They are two of the longest days of the year, that's for sure. I talked my mom into letting me go to Chris' Christmas morning, and then the two of us are going toback to my house for dinner. I think that was a pretty good deal.
On Christmas Eve, as planned, my Mom's family came over. My great-grandma, grandma, grandpa, Aunt, Uncle, and 4 cousins were all here. We all exchanged gifts and I got a duplicate already. Guess I should have waited on The Skulls. I'll just have to take it back.
After dinner, I went up stairs to wrap all the gifts I bought. Talk about waiting till the last minute. I went out yesterday and got all those other gifts for Chris. I got him another sweater, pair of khakis, and the leather jacket.
By the time I got all the gifts wrapped perfectly, my Mom was calling me downstairs to say goodbye to my family.
After all the "Hope your Christmas is wonderful" and "Have a great new years" I went and helped my Mom clean up the kitchen.
"Hey Mom, can I ask you a question?"
"What hunny?" She asked.
"Why do you still put out cookies for Santa, I'm going on 17 years old. I stopped believing in him 10 years ago."
"Well, it's more your father that wants the cookies out. I have something to tell you, but I'll save it for tomorrow morning. It's something that's going to change the way our family has been for awhile." She said.
"Are you OK Mom?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, I'm great, it's good news sweetie." She replied a little less enthused than someone should be with good news.
"OK, well, I'm heading upstairs, I'll see you in the morning." I said kissing her goodnight.
I got upstairs and called Chris. I was really excited to hear what my mom had to tell me in the morning.
"Hey Chris, how ya been?"
"Don't ask. My step-dad's family is almost as annoying as he is." Chris replied.
"Oh, my day went like normal, Mom's family came over. My Mom is telling us some news tomorrow; I have no clue what it is. I'm pretty excited."
"Sounds cool, you still coming over hear tomorrow morning?" Chris asked, just about ignoring the excitement in my voice. I guess he really wanted to make sure I was coming over tomorrow.
"Yeah, around 9:30 or so, I have to stay here to open gifts with Jamie and my parents in the morning. Linda's coming over here too."
"Oh, is Charlie coming?" Chris asked.
"Nope, he's staying with his Mom I guess." I replied.
"Yeah. Well baby, I'll see you tomorrow morning. I want to get a good night's sleep." Chris said.
"OK, I'll see you tomorrow, Love you."
"Love you too." He replied.
I got in my pajamas and snuggled under the covers. Unfortunately it wasn't snowing, but it was 15 degrees out. It took me awhile to get sleepy and finally fall asleep. All I could think about was what my Mom told me tonight.
I woke up at 7:00, just like usual. My Mom and Dad were already downstairs at the kitchen table sipping their coffee.
I heard them talking and stopped right behind the wall going into the kitchen so I could hear what they were talking about.
"It's going to be such a huge adjustment from what we are used to though Dave." My mom said to my Dad.
"C'mon Hun, you know we can do this, it's no sweat." He replied.
I think I was getting an Idea of what was going on. The business deal I went with my Dad to finalize went through in a big way. I'll bet that they wanted us to move into the luxury apartments. My heart sank to my knees. Of course Chris and I could still carry on a relationship, it would only be about a 30-minute drive from the apartments to here, but I didn't want to go. That would mean Rosa wouldn't need a job anymore, I would live in a larger city - without any friends, I certainly wouldn't see Chris as much and I wouldn't have a huge house all to myself like usual.
I walked around the corner like I had just come down the stairs and sat across from my Mom.
"Hey Blake, you about ready to open gifts?"
"Well, yeah Dad, but Mom said she had something important to tell me last night. I could hardly sleep thinking about it." I replied.
My Dad started to say something, but my Mom cut him off.
"Blake, I know this is kind of unexpected, and definitely wasn't planned... She started to trail off.
"Yeah?" I urged her to continue.
"Well, Blake, it looks like you are going to have another brother or sister." She said with a smile.
"REALLY, that was it! I thought you wanted us to move to Portland in the apartment deal Dad made! OH MOM, THAT'S WONDERFUL!" I said running over to her and giving her a big hug.
I turned over to my dad and gave him a big hug too.
"Looks like you still got the juices flowin huh Dad?" I asked, giving him a light punch in the shoulder.
"Watch it." He said with a snicker.
"This is like the best Christmas gift in the entire world!" I said giving my Mom another hug.
"I'm glad you feel that way. You know that things will get a little different around here in a few months. I'm due in August, the doctors will know an exact date my next check up." My Mom said. "Your father and I have decided that I'll just quit my job in July, and I'll stay at home. Your father brings in the majority of the money, so nothing will change dramatically." She continued.
"Yeah, that's no prob Ma. I'll help out in any way, you know that." I said.
"Yeah, I know sweetie." She said running her fingers through my hair.
"Your not going to be the baby anymore, you ready for that Blake?" My Dad asked.
"C'mon! I've always wanted a little brother or sister." I said.
This really was the best Christmas gift I could have ever received. I really have always wanted a little brother or sister, I really have. I'm glad that I wouldn't be the baby anymore - there's a time in your life when you get sick of being the youngest one in a family.
I was excited the whole day. After I opened gifts with Jamie, Linda, and my parents, I called Chris and told him the good news. He was just about as excited as I was.
"I'll becoming over to your house in a few minutes." I said saying goodbye.
"OK, see you soon Blake." He replied.
My Mom and Dad got me some really nice gifts. I got a few computer games, and Playstation 2. Don't ask how they got one, because I have no clue. I got a few sweaters and a couple pair of khakis also. Sweaters certainly were on everyones list this year. My mom loved her gift basket from Bath and Body, and my Dad said he could put the wallet and gift certificate to good use.
I gathered Chris' gifts and put them in the car. I went back in my front room and said goodbye to my parents and said I'd be back around 5:30.
Chris graciously accepted his gift, and was head over heals for the leather jacket. Chris got me some really cute outfits, one from Old Navy and the other from Abercrombie and Fitch. He also got a Curve for men gift set.
We left a little early from his house, because he was anxious to get a look at Playstation 2. We played for a few hours, and then went downstairs to eat dinner. We had some small talk, and of course Chris congratulated my Mom and Dad on the baby. My Grandma and Grandpa were probably the most surprised. They were already trying to pick out names.
That's the only family my Dad had, besides Aunts and Uncles. He was an only child. We rarely seen my Great Aunts and Uncles, because most of them lived in West Virginia. Not to mention, the only time we seen my grandparents was on holidays and my birthday. We definitely stayed in touch with my Mom's side more than my Dad's.
The rest of the night was wonderful, Chris and I went up to my room while my Mom, Dad, and grandparents were staying entertained in the living room. We snuggled and watched The Skulls...again.
As I sat there next to Chris, I realized one thing...I was growing up. I no longer needed gifts and material things to be happy. Chris was really the best gift I ever received, and I didn't need a receipt to return this one. __________________________________________________________________
