The New One
The minuets seemed to creep by slowly. With the clock ticking raging threw the halls. Or so it seemed to Brian. He sat with his mother on the couch in the waiting room. She held her son close to her. Dan's parents hadn't come out of the room yet, and it had already been an hour. She hoped things were ok. She didn't want to barge in, but she also wanted to know if everything was ok.
She started to rise, but her son held her back. She saw that it wasn't yet time for them to go in yet. So she seated herself right back down on the couch. She looked at her son, and finally knew that he was happy. He never was "truly" happy. But now she could tell that he was, and that he was worried about his new friend. Or more then that. She knew that they were up in his bedroom. But that was ok. They were boys and they had there own things to do. So she wouldn't be mad on that issue.
Brian himself was content to wait. It might be better for them to wait. But there was something that he knew he should go in there. But he wasn't sure. He was tired, and he wanted to go home. But he couldn't leave here until he know that things were ok with his friend, and new lover.
He closed his eyes. He could still smell the sent of his friend from their afternoon of lovemaking. The way he felt his companion is his arms. The creases in his back, and the arms he felt around him. He sighed with a delight. A long time since he was happy. And he hoped it could continue. It would continue.
He opened them back up, and found that his mother had left. He stood up, and looked around the lobby. She wasn't there, and he knew that they must have come out of the room. He started to head for the door, and he stopped before stepping out. He could hear his mother and them both talking.
"We don't care! We want nothing more to do with him. He can die as far we are concerned!" He could hear the words. And when they said die, he just about fainted. They weren't yelling because they were in a hospital, and would have gotten kicked out.
"Please. Just give him a chance..." he knew his moms pleads were in vain. He heard this so many times.
"No! We don't know who he is anymore!" they started to walk off.
"IDIOTS!" Brian had decided to take a part in this, "You have no heart! I can't believe that God let you two BASTARDS be parents of such a wonderful guy!"
"SHUT UP you little fag! You are the one that turned are son, and we blame you for it! You had no right to lure him into your house, to your bedroom, and then have your way with him! By the looks of it you have been working out hard just to get a hold of him!" Dan's father had stopped in his tracks and his eyes were ablaze. There was no use anymore. Brian's mother was about to tell them a thing or two, but Brian stopped it. He just slowly turned, and ran to the room of Dan. He started to open the door, but could already hear sobs of pain, and anguish come from the room.
"Are you ok?" Brian closed the door slowly and quietly.
"They hate me...h-h-ow can they hate me?" he was starting to settle down a little. He didn't want to let Brian see him crying. "They don't hate you. They are confused. They will come around bud."
"What will I do? I don't have anywhere to go!"
"Yes you do. You can come and stay with us like we promised!"
"Are you sure your dad won't mind? I know your mom won't...but..." he started to say but Brian put his finger over his mouth to shush him. He leaned over and kissed him. And then hugged him to comfort him more.
"Don't worry. Things will be ok. They will be all right. My mom is already taking care of it. You can leave in the morning." With that he just sat there holding his friend. They were interrupted with the door opening.
"AHH! What stupid people this world has. I had a hell of time trying to get your parents to sign a form so I could have you. AHH!" She stopped short and saw that they were holding each other. "OOOKKK!" she said and excited, and entered right again. "What are you two up two?" she said with a big smile. She always knows how to make people feel better. She just started to laugh. "I got all the paper work done, and all bills paid. You will be discharged. So I am going to leave again. And I will be back at 8:00 to pick you two up." She started to leave.
"Wait you letting me stay with Dan?"
"Why not? You are happy, I am happy, and he is happy. Let's keep it that way!" with that she turned and left. Not to return again until 8:00.
I know I will be getting a lot of mail about this section. But I wanted to make it more known that parents do throw their kids out if they are gay. I know one that actually was. I too was almost thrown out. I had to deny that I was gay over and over and over again. It was very stress full on me. So that is why I included this in with my story. Be sure to come back for new turns. And send all comments, questions, or just what not to admiralmmp@hotmail.com Subject line: Brian and Dan
