Brian and Keith - part 3

Keith shot up in bed and cried, "No, no it can't be." He looked around and realized where he was and just sat there crying in bed with his face buried in his hands.

Brian quickly got up when he heard someone crying. He was disoriented for a second and then he realized why Keith was crying. "Keith, its okay," he said in a soothing voice as he started rubbing his hands across Keith's back trying to comfort him. Keith just sat there and loudly sobbed as he wrapped himself in a hug with his hands. Brian got on his hands and knees and just hugged Keith loosely, just enough to let him know that he was there if Keith needed him.

"What's wrong?" Kevin asked as he rushed in after opening the door. He came over to the bed and helped Brian to calm Keith down.

"I don't know what to do," Brian said to Kevin with tears in his own eyes.

"Just let him know that you're here for him," Kevin replied. "Keep hugging him till he stops crying," he added as he got up from the bed and quietly left the room.

Kevin walked out and saw A.J. and Nick in the hall looking towards Brian's room. "It's okay, Brian has it under control," he said as he looked at both of them. They both nodded and all three walked into their own rooms shutting the doors behind them.

Meanwhile in Brian's room, Brian was still hugging Keith trying to calm him down. "Let it all out," he kept saying to Keith as both of them cried. Brian did not like to see Keith upset, but he understood that these tears had to be shed. It is better to shed them sooner than later. Brian glanced at the alarm clock and noticed that it was only 11:40 PM. He thought that Keith still will be able to get a good nights sleep once he calms down.

Keith finally stopped sobbing and seemed to be calming down. He quickly opened his arms and hugged Brian like there was no tomorrow. He quickly let go once he realized who he was hugging. "Sorry," Keith said shyly.

"Why, I liked being needed by you, besides the hug felt great," Brian said with his wonderful smile.

That brought a smile to Keith's face and he even laughed a little at that comment. Brian quickly hugged Keith again and settled in the bed. Soon, they were asleep with Brian's arms around Keith. Keith did not have any more episodes after that and they both were able to sleep without any disturbances.

Brian awoke first disturbed by the sunlight coming into the room through the curtains. He noticed that Keith was still fast asleep in his arms. He immediately smiled widely as he realized that he liked holding Keith in his arms. He wanted to treasure this moment for all time. His smile turned into a frown as he started to realize how little time he had with Keith. He wanted more time with Keith and he decided that nothing is going to stand in his way.

He wanted to start fresh at this moment and he wanted nothing more than to make love to Keith. He wanted a new start to this arrangement that he wished would turn into a relationship soon. He was starting to realize that he was falling in love with Keith. He remembered how they laughed together yesterday about silly little things and he did not mind a bit. He remembered how he felt for Keith when he got the bad news and how he just wanted to comfort Keith before anything else. He remembered how his eyes lit up and how his heart would flutter when someone even mentioned Keith's name. Yup, he decided that he had fallen deep in love with Keith. He smiled again, and this time there was no frown to follow. He strongly believed that he could make this work.

Brian looked at Keith sleeping very peacefully. He contemplated whether or not to disturb Keith, but his desire got the better of him in the end. He untangled himself from Keith making sure not to wake him. He then took the covers off from both of them. Keith was wearing his shorts and Brian very gently took them off. Keith stirred but returned to his peaceful sleep. Brian waited for a whole five torturous minutes before resuming his plan. He felt guilty about waking Keith, but decided that he would apologize for that later. Now, he felt the time had come for them to take their arrangement to another level. He looked up to see Keith smiling down at him. He noticed desire in Keith's eyes and started smiling widely. Keith started to get hard immediately and nodded 'yes' to his knight. He arched his back, his stiff cock pointing to the ceiling.

Brian quickly disposed of his shorts and joined Keith at eye level. They embraced, kissed, and pressed their hard cocks together. Keith gently pulled away and turned around on the bed, his cock nearly in Brian's face. Brian tenderly wrapped his fingers around Keith's cock. Soon, Keith followed his lead and did the same. A drop of precum glistened from the tip of Keith's swollen cock as Brian gently took it in his mouth. The clear liquid tasted sweet to Brian as he inhaled the mildly masculine scent that rose from Keith's crotch. Keith groaned and took Brian's cock, which by now was crying out for attention, in his own mouth.

They both seemed to be doing the same things at the same time. They swirled their tongues around each other shafts, sucking on the tips, and sliding their mouths up and down the rigid shafts. It seemed like for them the mutual cocksucking was a fantasy come true.

Keith felt a finger probing at the opening of his ass. Slowly and gently, the finger was twisted into his asshole until it penetrated all the way. Keith followed Brian's lead moistening his finger and probing the crack of Brian's buns until he found the opening. Gently, he slid the finger in while Brian pushed back onto it.

They probed and twisted their fingers gently, bringing new erotic pleasures to their cocksucking experience. The intensity of the erotic sensations were building to a point where Keith could not hold back his climax. He shuddered and arched his back, pushing his cock deep into Brian's mouth. Brian heard Keith's muffled groan as his sweet load of cum filled Brian's mouth. Almost simultaneously, Brian pumped waves of manjuice into Keith's mouth. They both drank and swallowed each other's cum like thirst driven men lost in the desert.

They both pulled their fingers from each other's ass. Keith gently squeezed and sucked the last drop of cum from Brian's cock before turning back around to face Brian. They kissed deeply, exchanging the sweet flavors in their mouths as they hugged and pressed together.

"That was great," Brian said as they finally settled down.

"Yeah," Keith sighed as he snuggled even closer to Brian.

"Watch it, otherwise we will be in bed all day long," Brian said as he piked up Keith's hand and threw it from his chest quite abruptly.

Keith pulled back and lay down on his side of the bed. He was shocked by Brian's actions and did not understand what exactly had happened. He turned his back towards Brian and let the tears escape from his eyes. He felt like he had done the wrong thing by cuddling up to Brian. He came to realize that Brian was not interested in a relationship, but still stood firm to the arrangement that they had made. His image of his knight in his mind suddenly shattered as he released a steady flow of tears now from his eyes.

Brian lay there shocked at Keith's action. He had just make a joke and Keith acted like Brian had kicked him out of his bed. He was just being himself and did not think that he did anything wrong.

'The hell with it,' Brian thought. If Keith could not take a little joke, then maybe they were not meant to be together long term. He decided that he would not apologize for that comment and action, but rather let whatever happen. He decided that this time Keith will have to apologize to him for his behavior. These were the last thoughts in his mind as he drifted off to sleep.

Keith slowly turned around and faced Brian. The first thing that he noticed was the angry expression on Brian's face. 'Boy, I really messed up this time,' he thought to himself. He wiped the tears away from his eyes and resolved that he would somehow make this up to his knight. He thought that an apology to start with will be a step in the right direction. Okay, he had decided that the first thing he will do is apologize as soon as Brian wakes up. Soon, he also was sound asleep while thinking of ways to apologize.

Brian was first to awaken. He yawned and stretched his arms over his head in an effort to wake up. He did not want to face this day. He was still quite upset with Keith over his actions. He needed time to cool off before he spoke to Keith. He looked at the alarm clock to see that it was 8:30 a.m. He knew that Kevin was about to call around to get all the guys to have breakfast together. He decided that he would call Kevin first to make sure that the ringing of the phone did not wake up Keith. He picked up the phone and dialed Kevin's room number.

"Hello," Kevin said after picking up the phone after one ring.

"Hi Kev, I was wondering what the plans for breakfast were," Brian said into the receiver as he yawned and scratched his head with his fingers.

"Well, good morning to you too," Kevin said sarcastically.

"Oh sorry, good morning Kevin," Brian replied as a smile broke through his gruff attitude.

"That's better," Kevin said sensing Brian was in a better mood now. "What are you doing up so early, usually you are the last one to wake up for breakfast," he asked cheerily.

"Oh, I had some things on my mind that prevented me from having a restful sleep," Brian replied softly as to make sure that Keith did not hear that comment. He shouldn't have worried because Keith was out as a log and nothing could have woken him up.

"Anything that I can help with," Kevin asked in his fatherly tone.

"No thanks, I think I have to handle this matter by myself," Brian replied.

"Okay, still let me know if you need anything," Kevin said. "I don't know what the plan for breakfast is," he continued speaking into the phone without letting Brian say anything further about what was bothering him.

"Well, don't call my room when you know because Keith is still sleeping," Brian said. "I don't know when he will wake up, but I want him to wake up by himself rather than be disturbed by the phone," he continued speaking as he scratched his chin.

"Okay will do," Kevin replied.

"I think I will get ready and join you in your room to wait for breakfast," Brain said.

"That's fine, see you in a bit then," Kevin replied as he hung up the phone.

Brian put he receiver back in its place as he stretched and yawned. He wished that he could fall back to sleep, but he did not want to face Keith alone yet. If he saw Keith at breakfast, that would be fine, but he was not ready to talk to him alone. He decided that he would talk to Keith after breakfast, which gave him some time to think over what he wanted to say to Keith.

He slipped out of bed managing not to disturb Keith. He looked back to see Keith and noticed an angelic expression on his face. It reminded him of an angel that he had seen on a stained glass window in a church that he had visited once. Keith could have been the model for that artwork. Brian sighed as he made his way to the bathroom. He felt so confused. 'Maybe I should talk to Kevin about this, at least I will be able to get these feelings off my chest,' he thought. He kept thinking these things over and over as he used the bathroom and brushed his hair. He grabbed a t-shirt when he came out of the bathroom and headed for the door while putting on the shirt. He didn't even look back at Keith. He did not want any reason to stay in the room, besides he was feeling hungry. Brian came out of his room just as Nick, A.J., and Howie came out of their rooms.

"Wow! look who's up so early," A.J. said as he patted Brian on the back.

"Hi guys," Brian said with a slight yawn.

Everyone replied their response as they made their way to Kevin's room. Brian walked behind all the others with his head hung low. He silently prayed that no one would ask about Keith. He knew that was silly because one of the guys will definitely ask about him when breakfast arrives, if not sooner. Brian bumped into Nick as he did not notice that everyone had stopped in front of Kevin's room. He was of course lost in his own troublesome world.

"Hey!" Nick said as he slightly fell forward.

"Oh! sorry Nick," Brian said as he caught Nick and prevented him from falling to the floor.

Everyone looked at Brian as through he had just landed from a different planet. Just then Kevin opened his door allowing everyone to enter his room.

"Good morning everyone," he said as he closed his door after all of them were inside. "I just ordered breakfast, so it should be up in a little while," he continued speaking not noticing the stares that everyone was giving his cousin.

Brian was confronted by confusing looks as he finally looked up to see everyone. He saw the same look as he scanned from one person to another till he got to Kevin. Kevin had no idea what was going on so he just had a questioning look as he stared at Brian.

"What!" Brian exclaimed as he raised his hands and threw them over his head. He did that quite often to show that he was upset about one thing or the other. The guys got the meaning behind his gesture and backed off. They knew better than to try to talk to Brian when he got in one of his moods. Only Kevin knew how to deal with Brian in a situation like this, but not even he tried to pry out what was bothering Brian. Brian was quite thankful for this because he really did not feel like explaining any of this to any of them. Everyone just sat in silence praying that breakfast arrives soon.

After about only five minutes, that seemed like hours to the guys, breakfast arrived. They all started eating in silence while looking from Brian to Kevin and then back to Brian again. Kevin noticed this and wondered what he had to do with the current situation. He was in the dark just as the rest of the guys were. Then he realized that he was expected to find out what Brian's problem was and to fix it. He felt proud that the guys thought of him in that way. But, he was not going to ask Brian again because he already did that this morning and he did not like the way that turned out. So, he just sat there eating in silence ignoring the looks the rest of the guys were giving him.

Just then a lightbulb went off in Kevin's mind as he realized that Keith was missing from breakfast. He looked at Brian, who was busy looking down ignoring the looks that he was getting and stuffing his mouth. Sometimes, even he was amazed at how much each of them eats, himself included. He felt a little uncomfortable as to why Brian had not even mentioned Keith. He hoped that everything was okay between them. He was going to talk to Brian about Keith, but something told him that he better not. Though, he was surprised that none of the others were inquisitive about Keith's whereabouts. He just looked around with a pleading look in his eyes that one of the others would ask Brian where Keith was so that he would know. Then he would be able to eat his food in peace.

Meanwhile in Brian's room:

Keith was still fast asleep on the bed. He was dreaming about his mother and his family when he was little. He loved to think about his childhood. Somehow, the warmth that he got from these feeling always made him feel safe. Suddenly, he jerked in his sleep and awoke from his slumber. He felt around on the bed, but he could not feel Brian's body. He rubbed his eyes and finally opened them. He could not see Brian anywhere in the room. He got up and went into the bathroom, but still no sign of Brian. Keith started to get worried, but then he glanced at the alarm clock and noticed the time. He sighed his relief as he thought that the guys would be having breakfast in Kevin's room.

Keith wondered why Brian had not awakened him when he left for breakfast. Then he realized that Brian was probably still mad at him. Well! he decided that he better apologize to Brian as soon as possible. After what happened with his mother, he could not bare the thought about not telling Brian and then something terrible happening. That reminded him that his mother's funeral was today, and how he wished that he could be there to say goodbye to her. He wiped away some tears as reality hit him again. He made himself promise that he would take some time out and pray for his mother's soul around four in the afternoon. That is when his brother said that they would actually be lowering his mother into the ground.

He went into the bathroom to straighten up and to get dressed to go eat some breakfast. He felt hungry as he heard his stomach growl. He finished getting presentable and walked out into the hallway and made his way to Kevin's room. He smiled as he saw the cart outside the door, but he remembered that he had to apologize to Brian before he could start eating.

Keith knocked softly on the door. Everyone looked up towards the door inside the room. Nick got up, since he was the closest, and opened the door.

"Good morning Keith," Nick said as he stepped aside and let Keith enter the room.

"Good morning everyone," Keith said as he stepped inside the room. Everyone nodded to Keith as they continued eating. Keith scanned the room till he found Brian sitting on the edge of the bed eating while looking down towards the floor. Keith took a deep breath and approached Brian. The rest of the guys just sat there staring at the two of them while continuing to stuff themselves.

"Brian could I please speak to you?" Keith asked after clearing his throat.

Brian motioned to the bed with his fork as he looked up momentarily. Keith sat down next to Brian and looked down towards the floor. He started fidgeting with his fingers in his lap. He looked towards Brian and saw that Brian was looking back at him with an expecting look on his face.

"First, I wanted to say thank you for comforting me yesterday. It was very helpful to have your support during a time like this," Keith said as he continued fidgeting with his fingers. He then looked straight in Brian's eyes as he continued speaking. "I also wanted to apologize for my actions last night. They are unforgivable and I will understand if you will never forgive me. I would like to explain. When a person is out in the streets for such a long time, that person gets used to taking what is said literally. I thought you were mad at me for what had happened, so I thought that by retreating I was doing both of us a favor. I was wrong and I apologize again," Keith spoke without taking a breath. He sighed as he realized that a heavy weight had been removed from his shoulders.

"Apology accepted and your welcome," Brian said as a smile came across his lips. "Just don't let it happen again," he continued as he shook his fork at Keith jokingly.

Keith smiled back and wiped the tears away from his eyes. He hugged Brian tightly and kissed his cheek as he broke the warm hug. As he composed himself, he noticed that the rest of the guys were staring at both of them. Brian noticed this also as he blushed slightly.

"Sorry about that, but that had to be done before anything else this morning," Keith said as he looked at the guys.

They all nodded and continued eating. Keith chuckled to himself and wondered whether anything would prevent these guys from eating. As he thought of food, he felt his own hunger building. He got up from the bed and walked over to get some food for himself. He felt all eyes upon him, but he could not help himself because he was hungry. He filled his plate modestly and then returned to sit besides Brian to eat.

"Oh! I almost forgot, I wanted to thank all of you for yesterday. I know that you guys would rather have done something else, but I was really glad for the time you all spent with me. It helped me out a lot at a very difficult time," Keith said facing the rest of the guys.

"You don't have to thank us, we were glad we could help," A.J. said with a smile. Everyone nodded their agreement.

Keith smiled back at them as he started eating. The rest of the time was pretty much spent in silence as everyone finished eating breakfast. After everyone was done, Kevin gathered all the plates and put them on top of the cart outside of his room. Everyone just relaxed after a stressful day yesterday and not to mention this morning.

"So Kevin, what's up in the schedule today?" A.J. asked while sitting back in his chair.

"We have to be at rehearsal from 11 to 3 pm and then we are on our own," Kevin replied.

"Keith are you going to come with us?" Nick asked as he looked at Keith and Brian.

"No," Keith answered.

"Why not?" Brian responded quickly as his smile faded from his face.

"Because today is my mother's funeral. I think I will go to my apartment and just pray for her," Keith explained as he smiled at Brian.

"Are you sure you want to be alone?" Kevin asked with concern. Keith just nodded as he wiped his tears away as Brian hugged him.

"Dammit! you should be with your family and be able to attend the funeral to say good bye to your mother," Howie screamed as he slammed his fist on the table in front of him. Everyone jumped at Howie's outburst. They all looked at him like he was crazy. Keith started shedding tears again as he was being held by Brian.

"Howie, please do not bring that up again, Keith does not need this right now," Brian said looking straight at Howie.

"No, Howie's right, I should be able to attend my own mother's funeral," Keith said as he sat up and wiped away the tears from his eyes. "Lets not talk about this subject anymore," Keith said as reached for Brian's hand and held on to it. "Oh well! I think its about time for you guys to start getting ready for rehearsal," Keith said as he stood up and walked towards the door.

Keith walked out of Kevin's room and headed towards the room he shared with Brian. Brian was right behind him followed by the rest of the guys going to their own rooms to get ready for rehearsal.

As soon as Keith walked into the room, he headed straight for the bed and picked up the phone. He dialed his family's home phone number.

"Hello," a male voice said as the phone was picked up.

Keith froze when he heard the voice. He recognized it immediately as his father's voice. He opened his mouth but no voice came out. Finally, he mustered up enough courage to speak.

"Hi dad," Keith said tentatively into the mouthpiece.

to be continued.......

I'm sorry to have taken so long to finish this part of the story. I was out of the country and the only access I had to the computer was under prying eyes. Boy, I hate that. It is great to be home and have some privacy. Part 4 will be out soon, I promise, I have it already written down on paper, just need to type it. Take care everyone.

Next: Chapter 4
