Without further ado, I present: "Charlie St. Cloud"
"Finally!" I huffed as I threw down my bookbag on the cement and flopped down into a gray metal chair in front of a dirty white table with a hideous umbrella sticking out the middle. "I hate when Barry isn't the coordinator. We never get our breaks on time."
"Ugh, I know," my friend Staci said as she sat down in a similar manner. I cracked open a can of coke and drank about half in one long swig then pulled out my cell phone to check the weather.
"Just as I thought," I showed the phone screen to her, "seventh circle of hell, heat index of `surface of the sun'."
Staci groaned, twisted the top from her water bottle and started to chug. The condensation dripped off the side of the bottle and landed on her white button up shirt. It looked so refreshing that I began to salivate. I made a mental note to buy my own bottle of water at the end of my break. I took another drink from my soda can, nearly polishing it off in two gulps.
"Who's the star?" I said, lazily gesturing toward the idling tour bus with black tinted windows across the parking lot.
"Not a clue," she responded, disinterested, tearing open her zipper baggie full of celery and offering me some, while pushing a cup of peanut butter toward me. "it's organic. Not cuz I'm a fanatic, but cuz it tastes better."
We chatted about nothing in particular and I kept one curious eye trained on the door of the bus. A few minutes later it opened and a figure in tight jeans, a white t-shirt and aviator sunglasses stepped down the stairs.
"Oh my god," I said quietly, dropping the animal cracker I was about to place in my mouth. The mini-elephant bounced off the edge of the table and broke in half when it hit the cement patio.
"What's wrong?" Staci said, giving me a worried look.
"Found out who was in the bus," I casually stated, distracted, nodding in the direction of the figure. "and he's walking this way."
Staci turned around, still with a disinterested look on her face, then whipped back around to face me, suddenly very interested and then said quietly, through gritted teeth. "It's Zac Efron"
"Still walking this way," I taunted. "Walking right for you. I mean, directly toward you. Like undoubtedly going to run completely into the back of your chair"
"Shut up, shut up, shut UP" She scolded me, quietly, still through gritted teeth. She was sweating more than the intense heat warranted and clutching her water bottle in one hand and a piece of celery with a huge glob of peanut butter – organic peanut butter – dangling off the end in the other hand. I was playing it cool in order to tease her, but my coke can was slowly being crushed under my unconsciously tightening fist. I was also sweating more than I should have been, and quite possibly shaking. How ridiculous that one person could have such an effect. I realized that I was staring and quickly averted my eyes, pretending to look for something that had apparently flown over my shoulder. Four girls a couple tables over dressed in ridiculous looking teal and white dresses with white aprons and bonnets were giggling, whispering to each other and looking at the star while three or four other people in the break area sat oblivious.
I became more and more tense as he came closer to our table. His walk across the parking lot was no more than a few hundred feet, but it seemed to take ages. I pretended to look at Staci while attempting to photographically memorize every skin cell of his body, every thread of his clothing, every reflection in his sunglasses, every motion of his movement. He looked directly at me and nodded hello. I played it cool and nodded back, acknowledging him. The coke can crushed in my hand and I felt the sticky liquid drip into my palm. Staci's face was priceless after I nodded to him. Her jaw dropped in pure shock. Had I not been concentrating so intently on a damn good looking movie star walking towards me, I might have laughed. He stopped five or six feet behind her chair and fed a dollar into the decrepit coke machine, looking down the row of selections.
"Coke machine," I mouthed to Staci, who regained her composure somewhat and shoved the whole piece of celery in her mouth. I could see her trying to watch the star in the reflection in my sunglasses. Suddenly I turned from red to white. He took a couple steps toward our table and placed one hand on the back of her chair. Sensing that he was behind her, Staci went completely tense. She looked as though she was about to explode.
"Looks like you could use another" Zac said to me, holding out a bottle of coke in the direction of my crushed and dripping can. I noticed the condensation dripping off the bottle and the few drops of sweat that were beginning to form on his arm.
"Uh, yeah, thanks," I said, discarding my mangled can on the table and reaching for the drink he offered me. I could have used something stronger than a coca-cola. "I'm Ryan, and this is Staci"
"Charlie St. Cloud," he introduced himself, then smiled broadly. God, he had white teeth, I tried not to swoon, smiled and chuckled, Staci almost spit out her organic peanut butter. "Do you mind if I sit down?"
"No, by all means." I gestured toward the empty chair at our table. Why the hell did he want to sit with us?
He settled into the chair and twisted the top off the bottle of coke he had purchased for himself. "So that's an interesting outfit you guys have on. Don't think I've seen that one before. What do you do?"
"We're pilots" I told him "of the ferry boats to the parking lot and the launches that go to all the hotels on the water." It was my standard answer. I couldn't believe I was speaking so casually to Zac Efron. Staci was chewing her celery at light speed, clearly embarrassed to have such a mouth full when she should have been speaking to Disney royalty. "So what brings you to our humble little magical kingdom?"
He removed his sunglasses, revealing his beautiful blue eyes before he spoke. "Some High School Musical thing, of course. They're having me stand in front of the castle and announce some things. I don't know. I do what they tell me."
"That's what she said," Staci chimed in, having finally swallowed her extra-large bite of food.
Zac smiled at her. "Good one."
"Shit!" I exclaimed, checking my watch. Mickey's big hand indicated that Staci and I would definitely be late getting back from our break. I weighed the options of staying with Zac Efron and getting fired or going back to work and actually being able to afford to eat. "Look, uh..." I hesitated. "We really have to get back, we're really short out there, tonight. Like a hundred people called in." I stood up, grabbing my bag and tightly clutching the bottle of coke he had given me. "Mister St. Cloud, it was a pleasure to meet you. Thanks for the soda. Maybe we'll, uh, see you on a boat tonight. You should definitely come for a ride." It took every ounce of my strength to speak coherently. I even managed to get a joke in by remembering the name he had introduced himself with. Not that it was a good joke, but it was something.
"See ya," he said, casually. I nodded goodbye and Staci smiled at him before we walked away at a rather quick pace across the parking lot. A few seconds later we passed through the hidden archway and back onto Main Street USA.
"Holy Christ!" Staci said, forgetting her usual dislike for using the lord's name in vain and causing several parents and children to turn toward her.
"Shhh!" I cautioned her.
"I can't believe Zac Efron sat at our EFFING table and the only thing I had to contribute to the conversation was `that's what she said.' How is that possible?! How is any of that possible? Did that actually happen?"
I didn't answer her. I wasn't quite sure that it did happen. We walked down to the small booth near the boat dock where our coordinator, who wasn't Barry, was stationed. I won't pretend that I remember a word he said when we walked up, but we got our assignment to get on the Bon Voyage and we walked down the dock to wait.
Both of us stood on the dock and ignored the throngs of people who were waiting for the boat, all undoubtedly late for their dinner reservations or some other activity that they hadn't planned properly for. When the boat pulled up we took control. I was upstairs in the pilot house for the first trip and Staci would be downstairs tending to the needs o f the guests and untying the boat. Upstairs at the helm, I untucked the back of my white button down shirt from my blue shorts and leaned on the dashboard, holding my shirt over the air conditioning vent as it poured out cold air into the stifling cabin. The people filed in and we prepared to cast off.
"Clear behind you!" Staci shouted to me as I threw the boat into reverse. I pulled out the microphone and gave my safety announcement as we pulled away from the dock. As soon as we were out of sight of any managers or other superiors, Staci came upstairs into the pilot house with me to soak up some reconditioned air.
We didn't say much on our trip to the Fort Wilderness Campground, nor did we really speak during the return trip. I carefully pulled the large boat back up to the dock at the magic kingdom and expertly stopped only a couple inches from the cleat where it was tied up. Staci grabbed the rope and jumped out.
"Attached!" She called to me, after the boat was securely tied to the dock. I adjusted the wheel and engines to snug the boat up to the dock and relaxed, holding my shirt over the air conditioner again and looking out the windshield, surveying the Disney crowd. My eyes locked on someone in a white t-shirt, jeans, sunglasses and a too-big baseball cap pulled low over his face standing by the sign indicating the different boat routes.
"Staci!" I shouted to her, "Switch with me!" I darted out of the pilot house and down the stairs, committing a mortal watercraft sin and abandoning the helm with guests still filing out the door. She scrambled to get upstairs. "Thanks for visiting, folks, have a good morning back at your hotel!" I said to the last few people to get off the boat, despite the fact that they were not leaving the park and it definitely wasn't morning. I followed the last group down the dock and considered pushing Granny over. I passed the corral of people waiting to get on the boat and opened the gate at the end of the line. "Hi folks, we're going to... uh..." I trailed off and walked away, leaving the line of people to find their own way to the boat. Not that it was complicated.
"Charlie!" I called to him, approaching where Zac was standing, trying to decipher the signs and trying to remain incognito despite the fact that he looked ridiculous wearing his sunglasses when it was very definitely after sundown. He turned and looked at me, recognition showing on his face. He smiled.
"Help you find something, sir?" I asked him, smiling broadly. I still had no idea how I was being so suave around him.
"Yeah, I hear the boats are a pretty cool place to be. Any idea where I can catch a ride?"
"Right this way, sir." I said to him, directing him down the dock. "This big yellow boat will take you right to the campground to meet your party for your dinner reservation."
Zac came aboard and took a couple trips on the boat with Staci and I. Okay, I'm not going to pretend I didn't let him drive a little, but no harm was done and nobody died. We chatted and had a few laughs and Staci managed to contribute more than `that's what she said' to the conversation. We also had a buffet of cheez-it's, gummy bears, sunflower seeds, chocolate chip cookies and other lunchbox fodder to feast on while we made our way back and forth. Strangely enough, nobody who boarded the boat recognized Zac, though that may be because we kept him hidden upstairs in the pilot house almost the whole time.
We pulled up to the dock and Zac checked the time on his giant designer watch "Ugh, I should probably go. Got an hour of makeup before the shoot and I have to pretend to memorize a few lines. Um, do you have a pen?" I searched around the array of broken boat pieces, rags, water bottles and various papers on the dashboard before I found one and handed it to him. "...and paper?" I handed him yesterday's boat safety checklist that someone had forgotten to turn in. He scratched ten digits in the corner of the page. "I don't have my phone on me right now, but, that's my number. Send me a text or something. It's been fun hanging out with you guys."
"Uh-huh" was all that I could manage to say. I stared at the paper with his number. He confidently stepped down the stairs, down the dock and into the throngs of people where I lost sight of him.
"Fuck." Staci said, behind me. "Fuck shit fuck." She threw her phone back into her purse. "Stupid dead phone. Why didn't you make me charge it today?"
"You're accusing me?" I asked, shocked, as I pulled my phone from my pocket and started to take down the number Zac had scribbled. "Shit," I stopped, holding my phone in both hands, and stared at the piece of paper. "Is that a 4 or a 9?"
"Or a 7?" Staci interjected, looking over my shoulder.
"Fuck my life." I said, matter-of-factly. "I'm just gonna send a text to it all three different ways. I'm not risking getting it wrong. Stupid straight boys and their shitty handwriting."
Me: -Hey, it's Ryan, just shooting you a quick message to make sure you have my number-
I was on pins and needles all night waiting for a response. Just a couple of hours later, the Magic Kingdom was empty of guests and we pulled our boat into the marina and secured it for the night. It was only around eleven at night but I let out a giant yawn as the whole boat closing crew piled into the shuttle van to take us back to base to clock out. During the trip, I checked my phone. I had one new message. I stopped breathing.
Unknown: -Ryan? I don't know a ryan. Wrong number, asshole.-
Wow, so I guess the mystery digit in Zac's number wasn't a 7. I deleted that number from my phone.
Staci and I lived in the same apartment complex and only a couple buildings over, so we had carpooled into work. After we clocked out and said our goodbyes to the co-workers that we actually liked, we began our trek out to the cast member parking lot.
"Nina! Where are you?" I called out, clicking the lock button on my remote. Nina was my car. It was short for Naomi Nissan Altima. I noticed flashing lights and heard the horn honk a few rows down the parking lot. Staci and I headed off in that direction.
"You know he's never going to text me back, right?" I said to her as I started the car and began to leave the lot. I had the coke bottle that he had bought me – now empty – and the paper that he wrote his number on sitting on my lap.
"He might. He said he had a photo shoot. Maybe he's still in it and can't use his phone?" she was writing down Zac's number on a Starbucks napkin with a highlighter from the glovebox. "but he probably won't. I'll text him when I get back to my charger. He'll probably answer me." She said with smugness. But then added, dejectedly "or probably not. Why would he talk to us? At least we got to hang out with him for a while today."
A few minutes later I sat idling outside of Staci's apartment as she got out of the car. Leaning on the open door she looked in at me, sleepily. "Cold shower, warm bed. Lunch tomorrow?"
"Definitely," I responded. "Now get out so I can go home and change." At exactly the same time that she shut the door to the car, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out as I coasted across the parking lot to a space in front of my own apartment.
Unknown: -Hey, it's Zac. Got your number. Thanks. How was work?-
I almost crashed through the front of the building in shock as I was reading. "Don't text and drive, ass" I said aloud to myself. I put it in park and responded to his text with a giant smile on my face.
Me: -Work was good. Tired. Can't wait to shower and sleep. I love my bed.-
I turned off my car, grabbed my bag of essentials and headed inside. My roommate wasn't home. He probably wouldn't be for another couple of hours. I stripped off my boating costume and threw it into the bag where I would be sure to remember it tomorrow, then went into the bathroom to shower.
Fifteen or so minutes later, I walked into my bedroom, towel around my waist, and sat down in bed. I turned on the tv. Nick at Nite was on, as always, and Roseanne's shrill voice filled the room. I heard the familiar `ding-dong' of my phone on the nightstand. I picked it up and looked. Four new messages.
Staci: - Sent him a message when I plugged in my phone. No response to me, either. Oh well. Back to normal life I guess. Goodnight. See you tomorrow-
Zac: - Haha, nice. I love my bed, too. I guess the one at this hotel is good, too. Well, have a good night.-
Zac: - Ryan, I'm bored. You sleeping yet? -
Zac: - Oh, I guess so. Okay, have a good night... again.-
I panicked and pressed `reply' at least a hundred times. I ended up sending two blank messages. "Fuck my life!" I shouted, aloud, to nobody. Finally, I calmed down and actually typed a response.
Me: -No, I'm not asleep. Was taking a shower. What's up?-
I tapped my foot on the floor and twirled my phone in my hands impatiently waiting for his response. It began to vibrate and I opened the message before the phone had a chance to even make a noise.
Zac: - eh... I'm just bored. I was gonna see if you maybe wanted to hang out, but if you wanna go to bed... -
I dropped my phone.
Me: -No. Definitely. Let's hang out. Where did you want to go? Hungry? –
My heart was racing as I waited for the response this time. Again I opened his message before the phone had a chance to alert me.
Zac: - I was thinking just staying in. Want to hang out here? Pay-Per-View? Pajama party? I'm at the Beach Club.-
Me: - Sure, I'll bring the popcorn. Who needs sleep? Should I leave now? What room? -
I dashed to the closet, throwing my towel to the floor. Of course my clean laundry was still in the hamper from when I washed it a week ago. I threw clothes everywhere as I searched through for a pair of Abercrombie sweats, a cute t-shirt and my purple 2xist boxer briefs with an orange waistband. Practically jumping into my clothes, I then ran to the bathroom and grabbed the hair gel, trying to give my hair that fresh-from-the-shower, still-wet, my-hair-looks-so-perfect-with-no-effort-so-I-don't-care look. Just as I was perfecting each strand, hands coated in sticky gel, my phone went off. I rinsed my hands under the faucet and ran back for the phone.
Zac: - Haha, well, people have to sleep sometime. You can leave whenever you're ready. I'm in Room 4100.-
Me: - I'm leaving now. I'll bring some movies in case nothing good is on Pay-Per-View.-
I ran around the room like a madman, stepping over the clothes I had just thrown everywhere. I grabbed my DVD folder and tossed it in my bag, then folded a pair of jeans and threw it in, just in case he wanted to go out to eat or something. "Shit, popcorn" I said to myself. I ran to the kitchen and yanked a full box of 94% fat free whole grain popcorn and threw it into the bag. "Where the FUCK are my flip flops?!" I shouted, probably waking the neighbors. I quickly cased the whole apartment, but did not find my flip flops. I ran back to my room "Fuck it," and slipped on a pair of socks and my ratty work shoes. He wanted pajamas, who cares about my shoes?
I nearly took the door off the car as I tried to get in, and I know I definitely crushed a bush or two as I backed out entirely too fast. I don't know how I didn't get pulled over as I practically doubled every speed limit on the way over to his hotel. I really should tell Staci about this.' I thought to myself as I sped through a very late yellow light. But what if she already knows? She could be on her way over to the hotel, too. I'm gonna assume she knows.' I ran through a stop sign without my foot even flinching toward the brake. Nina's engine groaned under my abuse. Unknown items of junk slid off the back seat as I slammed on the brakes and attempted to look normal pulling up to the hotel security gate.
I flashed my company ID to the guard. "I'm picking up a friend who's getting off work." I lied. He waved me in. It took every ounce of restraint to drive like a normal human as I navigated the parking lot. Of course I had to park in East Jesus Nowhere. Leaving my car in a horribly crooked position and maybe forgetting to lock it, I grabbed my bag of necessities – which probably weighed fifty pounds by now – and headed for the entrance, trying not to run.
The cold air hit me like a wall as the automatic door opened to reveal a grand lobby. I headed directly to the elevator, not wanting any helpful hotel worker to ask any questions. I pushed the up arrow at least 700 times and the elevator finally came. Stepping inside, I pushed the button for the fourth floor and pulled out my phone.
Me: - in the elevator. Be there in a minute.
The elevator doors opened on the fourth floor. The directory sign was right in front of me. I turned left, following the arrow for 4000-4100 and attempted not to run down the hallway.
4000, 4001, 4002... this was going to be the longest walk ever. The hallway curved around to the right. 4050, 4051, 4052... I could see a door at the end of the hallway. I finally reached the door. 4100. A plaque on the door read `Presedential' in ornate script. The door opened just as I was about to knock.
There he stood, Zac Efron. He looked like an Adonis. His hair was a little wet, indicating that he had taken a shower. He was wearing a black sleeveless t-shirt that showed off his incredible arms and white athletic shorts with black stripes down the side. He wasn't wearing sunglasses this time so I could see his incredible watery blue eyes. I dug my nails into the strap on my bag.
"Hi" was all that I could manage to utter.
"Come on in," he said, smiling. I practically floated through the door, which he closed behind me. I took a look around. Of course, Zac was staying in a suite. I was standing in the kitchenette and the living room was just ahead of me, with a large flat-panel tv mounted over the fireplace. Who needs a fireplace in florida? It was pretty frigid in the room, though, so maybe the fireplace would come in handy. French doors across the room were open and revealed a king size bed with extremely comfortable looking linens and pillows.
Zac already had the Pay-Per-View menu open on the TV and a short advertisement was playing over and over.
"Oh, I brought the popcorn" I said to him, digging through my bag.
"Sounds good, but save it for later. I still haven't had dinner. How about we order room service? I'm thinking burger and fries." He held out the menu to me. I didn't take it.
"Actually, that sounds good to me, too. Cheddar on the burger, if they ask." I said with a smile. Was Zac Efron really ordering room service for me? Was I really sitting on the couch in his hotel suite? He stepped into the bedroom and grabbed the phone on the nightstand to place the order. I scrolled through the list of new releases on the TV. I looked back to where Zac had been while he was ordering and he wasn't there. I heard the bathroom door close. Resigning myself to the fact that he hadn't run out of the room, I went back to flipping through the list of movies and watched a couple of previews.
"I was thinking Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, Valentine's Day or Hot Tub Time Machine" Zac said, startling me a few minutes later as he walked back into the room. He was now wearing track pants and an unzipped zip-up hoodie over his sleeveless t-shirt. "It's kinda cold in here so I bundled up a little. Our food should be here soon. I got you a coke, since that's what you were drinking earlier. What movies did you bring? Maybe you have something better."
I thought about the coke that Zac had already bought me. The empty bottle was still in my bag, hopefully it was buried on the bottom where he wouldn't notice that I had kept it, or think that I ran around with empty bottles in my bag. I grabbed the folder of DVD's and tossed it to him. He caught it and flipped through the discs.
"Oh my god," he held up the open page to me, revealing the Back to the Future trilogy."I haven't seen these in forever. Can we watch these?"
"All of them?" I asked him, hoping he would say yes. It was around midnight, so that would put us at about six in the morning by the time the movies were over.
"Well yeah, why not? You said you weren't going to sleep. If we get tired after the first or second one, there's a DVD player in the bedroom, too."
My heart skipped a beat, stuttered, then stopped.
Did Zac Efron just invite me into his bedroom? Or to stay the night? There was only one bed. How was this going to work?
"Yeah, that sounds good, go ahead and put it in" I said to him.
"That's what she said." He replied, walking over to the TV. We both laughed. "That reminds me, where's Staci? I sorta expected you to bring her."
`Shit,' I thought to myself. He wanted her to come, too. How could I have been so stupid. "Oh, uh... I had already dropped her off for the evening when you messaged me. I thought it would be rude to invite someone else." I stammered. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I said to myself.
"Dropped her off? Oh, for some reason I thought you guys lived together. You just look like you've been together for a long time. How long HAVE you guys been dating?" he asked me.
"Dating? I, uh..." Shit. I had taken this all wrong. Why would he think I was dating Staci? I mean, I'm not the pinkest crayon in the box, but there weren't many people that would mistake me for straight. "I'm not dating Staci. I... Well, I date boys." My heart was no longer stopped, in fact it was racing. I thought for sure he could see it beating through the fabric of my t-shirt. I wondered when he would ask me to leave. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I should have just pretended that we were dating. I wondered if I could play off what I just said as a joke.
"Good."
"Zac, I'm sorry I—Wait, good? Did you say good?" I was perplexed.
He was grinning from ear to ear. "Yes. I said good. I don't have many friends like me."
His smile was intoxicating. I watched his lips as he talked. He—did he just say he was gay? Jesus Christ. I was pretty sure I was going to have an aneurysm. This is all too much for one day. There was a knock at the door. Impeccable timing. I hope that damn room service boy gets trapped in the elevator on his way back to the kitchen and dies.
"Wow, room service is quick here." He said, getting up and turning away from me, still wearing that shit-eating grin. He must have really enjoyed his dramatic exit from the room. I sat on the couch, my jaw resting firmly on the floor. He carried the tray back in and set it on the coffee table, then sat down next to me. Our legs were less than an inch apart. I could feel the heat from his body in the cold room. He removed the top from his plate, picked up his burger and took a large bite. I still sat, mouth agape. My stomach was in knots. I didn't know if I could eat. I removed the cover from my plate and picked up a French fry, eating it slowly and deliberately.
"I guess we should start the movie," Zac said, with his mouth full. He picked up the remote and pressed play. One of the biggest movies of the year I was born was projected across the big screen.
I eventually regained my composure and managed to eat half of the burger and a few fries then sat back on the couch with my feet up on the table and watched the movie. Zac was next to me, close enough that I could move one finger and touch him. The proximity was driving me wild. I shivered inadvertently.
"Wow, it really is kinda cold in here" I said to him.
"Oh, shit. I'm sorry." He apologized, "I should have offered you a sweatshirt when I got mine. Hold on, I'll get you one." He got up, hopped over the coffee table and disappeared around the corner in the bedroom. A few seconds later he came back with a black hoodie with a giant Under Armour logo on the front. I took it from him and put it on, he sat down next to me again on the couch. I was aware of his proximity for the entire movie. I really wanted to reach out and touch him. We chatted a bit throughout the rest of the movie.
Just as Marty was about to get sent back to the future, I yawned.
"I'm starting to get tired, too." He informed me. "As soon as this is over, we'll go hang out in there and put on the second one." He gestured toward the bedroom.
"Mister Efron," I began. "Are you asking me to stay the night?"
"Actually, what I said was more like a statement. I don't think I gave you much of a choice."
Just a couple of minutes later, the DeLorean reached 88 miles per hour and soared off over Marty's street and the credits began to roll. The TV snapped off, I looked at Zac and he was putting down the remote. He looked back and we locked eyes. If his eyes were any more blue I would fall into them like the ocean.
"Wow, you have great eyes," he told me, looking more intently.
I turned bright red; I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks. "Thanks," I responded. I was just thinking the same thing about you."
He grinned. It gave me butterflies. If I were standing I probably would have been weak in the knees. Without another word he turned away, stood up and walked to the bedroom. I followed, dragging my giant bag of crap along with me. He was in the bathroom, the door was mostly closed and the water in the sink was running. I sat on the large lounge chair next to the bed.
"M ro unna eh ready fr ned?" Zac asked, while brushing his teeth.
"Haha, I guess," I giggled. "Nice enunciation." I dug in my bag for my toothbrush and after finding it, walked into the brightly lit bathroom. I stood at the sink he wasn't using and brushed my teeth. Zac went back into the bedroom when he was finished.
A few seconds later I walked back into the bedroom just in time to see him peeling off his black sleeveless shirt. He was facing away from me so I couldn't see his chest and I don't think that he knew I was there. I watched the muscles in his back flex as he lifted his arms above his head. He had just a few dark hairs just above his waistband in the center of his back. He tossed his shirt in the corner and began to pull down the giant fluffy comforter from the bed. He turned around to sit down and saw me, then smiled and remained standing.
"You're overdressed." He stated simply. I removed his Under Armour sweatshirt and laid it neatly across the arm of the chair. He looked me directly in the eye and slowly slid down his track pants without ever breaking eye contact. I willed myself not to look. I lost the battle. My eyes drifted down over his incredible body, starting with those blue eyes, moving down to his full lips, the small patch of hair I the middle of his chest, that stomach you could practically squeeze orange juice on, down the happy trail and fixated directly on the package of his steel blue Calvin Klein underwear. I died.
Zac cleared his throat. "You're. Overdressed." He said slowly. "Lose the sweats and get in bed." He then sat on the bed and pulled the covers over him, grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. The DVD menu for Back to the Future II appeared on the screen. I slowly slid down my sweats, cautiously walked over to the bed, pulled back the covers and got into bed. I stayed toward the extreme edge, afraid to get any closer to him. He pushed play on the movie and snapped off the light on the bedside table.
He pushed me. The little fuck pushed me. I clawed at the covers to avoid falling out of bed.
"You know," he said, "you'd be a lot safer if you moved away from the edge. It's a king sized bed. There's room."
I noticed that he occupied the space exactly in the center of the bed. I moved toward him about two inches. He scoffed, reached across my chest and grabbed my arm, then jerked it, pulling me on top of him. A giant fluffy pillow sailed across the room. I don't even know if I had a heart anymore. It had raced and stopped already tonight. That had to be it. My heart said `fuck you' and just up and left the building.
I shivered, I stared into his amazing blue eyes, then closed my eyes.
"You've got to go back with me!" Doc Brown shouted on TV.
"Back? Back where?" Marty asked, perplexed.
"Back to the future!"
My legs were on either side of Zac's legs, I was straddling fucking Zac Efron. He still had a death grip on my arm and at some point had put one hand on the back of my neck. The touch of his skin was electric. I thought I was going to pass out. He slowly increased pressure on the back of my neck. He was pulling me down onto him. He did this very slowly so it took him a few seconds but he pulled me down to rest my head in the crook of his neck. My chin was resting on his shoulder. I could feel the stubble from his face on my cheek and his hot breath on my ear. I knew I was going to pass out.
He purred and then bit my earlobe. I shivered and clawed the bed.
"Be careful, that's dangerous." I said to him, half whimpering.
"I love danger" he stage-whispered into my ear, and then bit my neck. I ground my hard cock against him. He was hard as well. I couldn't tell through the several layers of fabric how big it was, but I hoped I would find out. He humped against me, encouraging me. He let go of my arm and his hand fell from my neck. I started to lift myself, I wanted a better look at him.
"No." he said, half-pleading and half-commanding. I halted where I was, hovering just a couple inches over his body. He moved both hands to the bottom of my t-shirt and slowly pulled it off of me, then pulled me down on top of him again. He wrapped one arm around my shoulders to keep me from moving and traced the fingers of his other hand gently up and down my back. I could feel his body rise and fall with his heavy breathing, could feel the heat from his chest. God, I wanted this boy.
My head was resting in the crook of his neck again, I turned to face him, he had his eyes closed. I bit his earlobe gently and felt him inhale sharply, that was the only encouragement I needed. I attacked his neck. Fuck it, I didn't care if I left a hickey. Boy spends hours in makeup before he does a photo shoot or anything. He dug his nails into my back. I attempted to pull myself up from laying on him again. He tightened his grip around my shoulders.
"I'm not going anywhere," I said quietly to him. He let his arms both fall from my back and onto the bed. I kissed up his neck and followed his stubbly jawline to his chin, then down the center of his neck. I swirled my tongue around his adam's apple and then continued down to his chest. I slid my hands up his sides and into his armpits, they were warm and hairy. I left my hands there and pushed, half to hold him down and half to move myself down his body. The soft dark hairs in the center of his chest tickled my nose as I continued to kiss and lick down his body.
As I licked the indentations between his abs, I moved my hands and dragged my nails down his side. He gasped and moaned quietly. Not wasting any time, I slid my fingers into his waistband and pulled his Calvins down his legs. I forced myself not to look at what flopped out as I slid his shorts and kissed his strong left leg all the way down to his ankle. I then moved to the right leg and as I kissed back up toward his cock, finally pausing and allowing myself to look. He wasn't huge like he'd been described in so many fan-fiction stories I had read about him, but he was of a very respectable size. Not having a tape measure on me, I guessed he was around seven inches and of about average thickness, just about the same length as myself, though I've been told I'm very thick.
"Mmm," I moaned before I plunged the whole thing into my mouth and dug my nails into his hips. He whimpered and I felt a shiver pass through his whole body, he thrust himself into my mouth, trying to go as deep as possible. I felt his neatly trimmed pubes touch my face. He smelled good, like the Disney soap that he must have showered with and a slight, musky, manly scent. It was intoxicating. I worshipped his dick, slowly moving up and down, alternating deepthroating and playing with just the head, then pulling the whole thing out of my mouth and licking and kissing every inch of it. I sucked his balls and tongued the space underneath them, going closer to his ass. He moaned again, louder. I felt his hands go under my armpits and begin pulling me up to his face. I slowly kissed up his rock hard stomach and slightly hairy chest before holding myself above him and staring into his eyes. He placed his hand on the back of my head and closed his eyes, then pulled me in for a kiss.
Our lips locked for the first time. I drank in every sensation. His lips were slightly chapped, but still soft, his mouth tasted so good, his tongue was wet as it timidly darted into my mouth. He was running his hands all over my body, they felt warm in the cold hotel suite. I gently touched his cheek with the back of my fingers, feeling his stubble again.
The hell with being hesitant', I thought to myself. I'm making out with Zac Efron.'
I was in the middle of my train of thoughts when he suddenly rolled me over so that he was laying on top of me, I was worried about falling off of the bed, but he still had his eyes closed and looked to be in a state of bliss. He moaned again, softer this time, and began to grind his cock into me. I felt his hans begin to travel down my body and then he broke the kiss, ravenously attacking my neck and chest, then moving down my stomach. The way he was kissing me seemed like he was hungry and I was something to eat. I can't say that I had a problem with it. He began to lick and kiss above my waistband. It tickled and I ruined the moment by starting to laugh. He stopped kissing my stomach and moved down, bathing the fabric covering my cock in his saliva. Precum was flowing like a fountain from my slit and my underwear was already wet. He moved back to the waistband and started to pull with his teeth.
"Still overdressed," he said with the orange 2xist waistband in between his teeth.
I could tell that it wasn't working for him, so I hooked my thumbs into my underwear and pulled them down for him, raising my ass off the bed so it was easier to slide them off of me. My cock flopped out and hit my stomach. He buried his face in my pubes, which needed to be trimmed, and started kissing my balls and the underside of my cock. He spent a lot of time on my balls, sucking on each one and at times having both in his mouth, then he moved back up and began to suck my cock like an expert. I was clawing at the bed and breathing heavily. He was getting the job done well enough but he was using a lot of spit. His saliva was dripping down my shaft and starting to pool at the base of my cock. Oh well, I guess he's just messy. I closed my eyes and allowed him to continue. It felt amazing.
Suddenly, he stopped and I felt his weight shift on the bed, I slowly opened my eyes just in time to catch him straddling me. My god, the view was incredible. I brought my hands up and ran them up his abs and pinched both of his nipples at the same time. He groaned loudly and pressed himself down on my cock. I humped into him involuntarily. Then he reached around behind him and began to aim my cock at his hole, staring me directly in the eye. His eyes burned like fire and he had a mischievous grin on his face.
Just as the tip of my dick was about to pry open his hole, I decided to speak. "Zac, mmm. Do you have a condom?" He shook his head and bit his lip, an even more evil smile coming over his face. I should stop him, I really should but I was definitely not going to. He pushed the head of my cock just inside his ass, it was tight, and the sensation was unbelievable. Then, slowly, he lifted himself higher, letting my cock fall out of his ass. I could feel his strong legs tightening against my sides as he flexed them to lift himself.
He leaned down to kiss me and bit my lip. "You're so thick. You're gonna tear me in half." He said, matter-of-factly. I drew in a sharp breath. I felt like I was floating; like I was drunk or high. He had total control over me.
"I'm damn well gonna try," I responded dreamily as I lazily and distractedly ran my fingers over every inch of his body that I could reach. I touched his hairy legs, his smooth sides and back, ran my thumbs through the hair in his armpits and squeezed his powerful arms. I couldn't believe that Zac Efron was sitting on top of me. Naked.
I was so lost in my own little world I didn't even notice that he had again lined up my cock with his ass until I felt him slide it in, first an inch or so, then slowly he slid the rest in until he was sitting on me, my pubic hair was brushing up against his nearly hairless ass. God he was so tight and it felt so good. Off in the distant regions of my consciousness I was aware of the movie still playing in the background.
I lifted my legs up at the knees and pulled him down by his shoulders to kiss me. While we were making out, I rocked my hips back and forth sliding in and out of his tight ass just a couple inches. He moaned into my mouth, still kissing me like he was hungry. Suddenly he sat up and started bouncing quickly on my cock, sending waves of pleasure through my whole body. I started humping back, using all of the strength in my legs, hips and abs to really give it to him.
He leaned back and stuck his arms out underneath him. I could no longer play with his back or chest or arms, but he continued to ride me like a pro, now putting all of his weight on his arms and legs. I caught his dick which was waving around wildly with his powerful fucking and started to jerk him off. It was warm in my hand as my fist flew up and down, pleasuring him the best I could while he was having the ride of his life. My dick slid completely out of his hole and he whimpered, obviously wishing that it hadn't. The most adorable pouty face I had ever seen came across his face. My dick felt cold. It was still wet from his saliva and the juices inside of him, and now exposed to the cold air in the room. He quickly shuffled backward so that he was bent over the end of the bed, feet on the floor and face buried in the fluffy comforter. He looked up for a quick second, licked his lips and winked at me. He didn't have to tell me twice. I got up, walked to the edge of the bed, lined my rock hard cock up with his now stretched hole and plunged in completely.
Zac groaned loudly, it sounded like a mixture of pain and pleasure and ended in a soft whimper. Keeping my entire length inside of him, I leaned down, kissed between his strong shoulders and then kissed his ear.
"You okay?" I asked him, softly.
"Harder, stud." He responded. I felt my dick twitch and a chill ran down my spine. I stood back up, grabbed him by the hips and began to slam myself into him, over and over again. I pulled out almost the whole length so that I could see the mushroom head of my cock and then lunged all the way in. When I felt that I was getting too close, I slowed down and laid on top of his back, breathing deeply and gently kissing his neck, then stood back up and began to pound him again. It wasn't like a scene in a porn movie where it lasts for days, it probably only went on for five or ten minutes. I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to see his face and incredible body while I fucked him. I pulled out and he whined again.
"Turn over," I told him, simply. He began to roll onto his back. I reached over him and got a pillow to put under his head so that he could watch me tear him apart. I took a moment to look at him and drink him in as he was laying there, his rock hard chest and washboard abs rising and falling as he breathed heavily. I couldn't get over it. I was literally an actor in the wet dreams of most women, most gay men and probably several straight ones. I drew in a deep breath, leaned down and kissed him.
I grabbed his legs and placed them on my shoulders, then lined up my swollen dick with his hole and forced it into him again. He cringed a little but grabbed my ass and pulled me in deeper. His dick was bouncing every time I thrust into him. After only a few minutes I was holding back, doing multiplication tables in my head and slowing down the rate that I was fucking him. I didn't think I could hold on any longer.
"We're. Gonna. Have. To. Stop. Zac." I said breathlessly between thrusts. "I'm getting close. I'm gonna – I'm gonna..." He dug his nails so hard into my ass I thought for sure I would start bleeding, he used his grip to thrust me deep inside of him.
"Ughhhhhhhhh." I groaned loudly as my body was rocked with the intense pleasure of my orgasm. I felt volley after volley of cum shoot from my cock and into his tight ass. I looked at his face, his eyes were closed and his mouth was partially open. He was beginning to breathe even heavier and then started groaning loudly.
"I'm cumminnnnng" he growled. I felt his ass contract repeatedly on my dick as he shot all over his abs, chest, neck and face. He kept shooting so long I wondered if it was ever going to stop.
By the time he stopped shooting, his entire chest and stomach were covered with streams of cum and his face had several spots. I slipped slowly out of him to not hurt him, let his legs fall to the floor and then leaned down to lick the cum off his face. Our stomachs rubbed together and smeared cu between us. His cum was sweet as I licked it from his stubbly cheek. He turned and stuck his tongue out to me and we passed cum between us. We made out that way for what must have been several minutes before he finally stopped and just held me tightly in his muscular arms.
"I'm exhausted," he said to me.
"Let me get a towel, then we can go to bed." I told him, getting up and heading to the bathroom.
I came back with a couple of towels and we both wiped ourselves off, completely soiling the towels. Zac put on the last movie, set the sleep timer and climbed into bed completely naked. I wrapped my arms around him and draped a leg over him as I spooned him, kissed him on the forehead and went to sleep.
The next morning, I awoke to an empty bed around nine. Zac's luggage was gone. "Fuck him." I said. I was seriously angry. I threw the covers off the bed and practically across the room, searched for my underwear and shirt, got my jeans out of my bag, put everything on and prepared to storm out of the room. I grabbed the handle on the door to exit the suite and noticed a note taped to the door. On Walt Disney Resorts stationary it said:
Ry-
Had an incredible night. It was great to sleep in your arms. Sorry I had to leave early, please forgive me. I'm surprised all of my phone conversations and running around getting ready didn't wake you. Already missed one flight and probably won't make the one they re-booked for me. Text me when you get up. - Charlie St. Cloud.
My mood did a complete 180. I guess I should have expected him to have to go do some movie star thing in another state. I placed the note carefully into my big bag of junk, closed the suite door behind me and took out my phone to send a text.
Me: - Charlie, I had an incredible night, too. When are you going to be back in town for round two? -
That's it! I hope you enjoyed my story. Again, if you have any thoughts or comments, please send an email to djd1216@gmail.com . Thank you for reading. I left it open for a sequel if the response is good, but I suppose it can end here as well.
