When I walked into the door, Chris was spoon-feeding Matthew and Wyatt was reading the newspaper and sipping on coffee. I walked over and grabbed a piece of toast out of the toaster and walked over to my husband, kissing him on the cheek.
"Come on, that's all I get?" Wyatt asked, putting the paper on the counter.
"This early, yeah." I smiled.
"Matt's not eating his food, am I missing something?" Chris asked.
I walked over and took the spoon from Chris' hand and waved it around the sky and back down into Matthew's waiting mouth.
"Hey, he likes the airplane!" Chris said, amazed.
"He loves the airplane." I said, a little uncomfortable.
"Thanks." Chris smiled half-heartedly.
"I think I'm late for work." I said quickly.
"I'll walk you out." Wyatt said.
"No." I smiled, "But I will be back for you, mister."
"Ewww." Chris frowned.
I smiled and left.
-
The doorbell to the Manor rang as Wyatt got to the stairs. Wyatt walked back down the stairs, wondering who it could be this early. He had to be to class in a few minutes and he didn't want to make the kids get any further back than they were in their lectures already. Being charmed was hell on their jobs. He walked over to the door and opened it to find Carl standing just outside the door. Wyatt's first reaction was one of surprise, then it was one of confusion.
"You must be wondering what I'm doing here." Carl said coyly.
Wyatt nodded, "You could say that." He said, "Come in."
Carl walked in and surveyed the Manor, "Nice looking place you got here. I can see why he dumped me to come running back to you." He frowned.
Wyatt sighed, then smiled, "Is that why you came over here?" he asked.
"I've met you before." Carl said, "At the Christmas party..."
"I don't mean to be rude, but I've really got to go. I have a class to teach." Wyatt said, looking at his watch.
"Look, I just came to tell you that if you hurt him, again, I'll knock you on your ass." Carl said seriously.
"Excuse me?" Wyatt laughed.
"You left him and lost him before. You do it again and you're out of his life forever and I will move in." Carl said.
"Well, he'll never be with you again because it's forever this time." Wyatt said, now serious.
"I thought it was supposed to be forever before." Carl said, "But you bailed on him. Left him with a kid. He didn't even wait on you."
Wyatt walked over to the door, "I think you need to leave." He said, opening it.
"Did I hit a cord? I'm not going to sit around and let you screw with him again! You and him are no good for each other. You never were and you never will be because when the going gets tough, you pick up and leave..." Carl said but before he could finish, Wyatt tackled him, smashing into the end table and knocking the flowers everywhere! The two traded blows and wrestled on the ground until Piper came down the stairs! Piper yelled for Leo and Chris, who both showed up and separated the two men. Piper took the baby.
"Stay away from my husband!" Wyatt shouted.
Carl yanked away from Leo and walked out, slamming the door.
Piper looked between the door and Wyatt, "What happened?" he asked.
"The guy comes in here and tells me that I'm going to screw up my marriage again! It really set me off!" Wyatt spat.
"He said that?" Leo asked.
"I've got to go to work." Wyatt said, orbing away.
"This is like déjà vu." Piper said, "Wyatt fighting for Drake."
"Only there weren't any demons around." Chris said, taking the baby, "And we're all substantially older."
"What a way to start off the day," Piper said, "Leo..."
"I'll talk to him." Leo said, turning to Chris, "Can I get a lift?"
"Sure, dad." Chris smiled.
Leo pecked Piper on the cheek and orbed away.
"What are you doing today? Rumbling with the greasers?" Piper chuckled.
Chris shook his head, "No, I'm meeting with promoters and in the process of getting Kris Allen to sing at P3." He said, holding the baby.
"Kris Allen?" Piper asked.
"American Idol! Come on, he beat Adam Lambert!" Chris said, "Plus, I like his name."
"Where's the baby going?" Piper asked.
"Bianca's off today." Chris explained, "As a matter of fact, we're on our way now."
"Uh, have you seen your sister?" Piper asked.
"She's already at the restaurant." Chris said.
"Oh." Piper said, watching Chris and Matthew leave. Piper picked up her purse, "To the restaurant I go." She said, leaving.
-
"So, you're saying my writing is getting..."
"A little repetitive." Phoebe said, standing, "It's just that you seem to be happy on the outside, but missing something on the inside."
"I just had my world turned upside down, and yeah, I have something missing, but I'm dealing with it." I said.
"Maybe you should take another break. You've been working so hard." Phoebe offered.
"Pheebs, I'm not taking any more time off! I can be non-repetitive." I said, "I just haven't really been listening."
"Sweetie, you have to listen. That's part of the job." Phoebe said, "Look, rewrite these and get them in by the deadline."
"Okay." I nodded. I walked out of her office, a little down. I was walking to my office when Carl came in with a bloody nose. I immediately walked over to him, "Carl, are you okay?"
"I don't want to talk about it." Carl said, walking to his office.
I followed, "Carl, what happened?" I asked.
"Ask your husband." Carl said, stuffing tissue up his nose.
"What? What does Wyatt have to do with any of this?" I asked.
"He attacked me! I went to the Manor..."
"To the Manor, for what?" I asked.
"...just to talk to Wyatt and the jerk attacked me!" Carl frowned.
"What'd you say to him? Wyatt isn't the type to just attack somebody." I asked.
"Does it matter, just keep your husband away from me!" Carl said, "You can leave now." He said, shutting his door.
At magic school...
"And that's a gypsy cure for Maleria." Wyatt said. The Bell rang and the kids scattered. Wyatt walked over to the board and began scribbling down notes for the next class.
"Son." Leo said, standing at the door, "Rousing lecture."
"I'd like to think so." Wyatt smiled, "About what happened earlier, I'm sorry my mess ended up at the Manor. I shouldn't have been fighting at all."
"No, but you were mad." Leo sighed, "You can't let him get to you. Okay, so you left for college and to become an Elder, the thing is you came back."
"I don't plan on leaving again anytime soon." Wyatt said, turning to his father, "I'm never leaving again."
"That's good to know, son. And I believe you, but you sound like you're trying to convince someone else." Leo said, "I applaud you, for having so much grace from going through everything. Granted, you just opened a can on a guy."
"I think the most obvious thing to do is to prove to everyone that I'm sticking around." Wyatt said.
"WYATT MATTHEW HALLIWELL!" I shouted, stepping in the room, "WHAT did you do?!"
"I should leave." Leo said.
"No, Leo, you can stay." I said pointedly, "You attacked Carl! I have to work with Carl and by the way he was my ex!"
"I..."
"The things he said," Leo said, "He provoked Wyatt."
I sighed, "That's what I told him. But Wyatt, you can't just go around attacking my exes because they say something you don't like. It's kind of flattering."
Wyatt smiled.
"You big, dumb guy." I said quickly, "I came over here to chew you out and here you are smiling and I can't really remember why...Oh yeah, you beat up my ex."
"He started it." Wyatt said.
"Okay, but we're all adults, let's wear our adult caps, shall we." I said, "Look, I don't know what he said..."
"He said I'd leave again...that all I do is leave you and maybe he's right, but I'm not leaving." Wyatt said.
I looked at Wyatt, feeling a little bad, "Wyatt, I know you're not leaving." I said, taking his hand, "We're working on it."
"No, there's no working! I'm not leaving you...ever." Wyatt said, grabbing me into a hug, "We've been through too much to be split up."
"We really have." I smiled, "Promise me that you won't fight anymore of my exes."
"I promise I won't fight anymore of your exes," Wyatt said, pained, "Unless they give me reason to."
I chuckled.
"You wanna stay for my next class?" Wyatt asked.
"I have deadlines, but I will be at the Manor later." I said, pecking him on the cheek and walking away.
"What about you, dad?" Wyatt asked.
"I think I will. It's been a long time since I've actually practiced medicine. Maybe I'll have some input." Leo smiled.
"Cool." Wyatt smiled.
-
Chris had secured Kris Allen and was mighty proud of himself. Kris would be there in a night and everything was going just the way he planned. He had even called Bianca and things were going pretty good on that front. Someone told him that he was needed out back and he happily left the club to see what it was about. He stepped outside, wondering what this could be about. Once he stepped outside, he saw the man standing down the alley.
"Ummm, hi." Chris said.
"Christopher Perry Halliwell?" the man asked.
"Yes?" Chris replied.
Some took a step behind him.
"What's..." Chris asked.
Before he could move, something hit him in the back and he fell to the ground! Chris felt weird, he got back up and dusted himself off, looking for the guy, but he was gone. Chris felt angrier than normal, like he could...could...could just kill someone. Suddenly, he disappeared in a swirl of purple orbs.
-
I walked into the house after work, looking for someone to be home. It didn't sound like anyone was home so I headed for the attic to sneak a look at the book. When I got to the attic, Prudence was at the window, taking pictures. I smiled to myself and headed over to her. She jumped a little but smiled back.
"Hi," Prue said, "I'm just taking pictures."
"Taking pictures of what?" I asked, looking out the window, "Taking pictures of the neighbor kid?"
"His name is Jeremy." Prue said whimsically.
I smiled, "Oooooh! Jeremy. So, he's a boy you'd like to get to know?" I asked.
"He's really cute and really nice." Prue said.
"I like boys that are really cute and really nice." I smiled.
Prue looked worried.
"What?" I asked.
"Do you ever feel like...maybe, being gay is wrong?" Prue asked.
I was silent for a minute, "I've thought about it and I've come to the conclusion that if it's so wrong, then how could it be?" I asked.
"I...didn't mean anything by it." Prue said, "I just wondered."
"I know, Prue." I nodded, "Is there another reason you asked?"
Before we could say anything else, Chris appeared in a swirl of purple orbs.
"Hey, Chris!" Prue said enthusiastically.
I knew something was wrong by his orbs, "Prue get down!" I shouted.
Lightning surged from his hands and shot everywhere! Prue and I managed to take refuge behind the couch! I looked over the couch, only to get my face singed by a lightning bolt!
"Wyatt!" I called into the air.
Wyatt orbed into the room wearing his cloak, which made him look really sexy, "What's the..." but before he could finish lightning hit him from the back and he flew across the room and landed in a heap on the floor.
I stood up and froze the scene.
"Possessed?" Wyatt asked, standing and dusting himself off.
"Oh yeah." I said, "Prue go downstairs and bring the crystals, he's fighting out of the freeze."
Prue nodded and raced downstairs to get the crystals.
"Are you ready?" Wyatt asked.
"We can't fight him, it'll take away our powers." I said.
"Then what are we going to do?" Wyatt asked.
"Defensive." I said, "Maybe we should even call in our whitelighter. Or your parents or somebody."
"This all reminds me of the time mom and Melinda got attacked by a vine demon...or a bunch of vines, the memory is fuzzy." Wyatt said scratching his head.
"What happened to it?" I asked.
"You don't remember?" Wyatt asked.
Before he could finish the end of the story. Chris phased out of my freeze and sent another lightning bolt dead in the center of my chest and I flew back and fell to the floor before everything went black. When I woke up, Wyatt was standing over me with his hands out above me. Kyle and Warren were standing further back, looking down at me. I groaned at the immense pain and rolled over on my side. I looked down at the scorched shirt and cursed Chris.
"It's not Chris. He's possessed." Wyatt said.
"Still..." I said standing, "Where'd he go?"
"I don't know, he orbed away." Wyatt said, "He must have realized we were gonna beat him."
"Did Prue ever come back with those crystals?" I asked.
"Yeah, she's okay." Wyatt said.
"We're going downstairs to finish the potion." Kyle said.
"Are you alright?" Wyatt asked as they left.
"Yeah. I could have been dead." I said, "And Chris would be the one who killed me."
"Nope, don't think like that." Wyatt said shaking his head.
"I would have died without telling you I was there." I said slowly.
"What? You were where?" Wyatt asked.
"The day you graduated medical school. I was at your graduation." I said quickly.
"Why didn't you come and let yourself be seen?" Wyatt asked.
"I saw you with some guy and I thought...It was too much time and I thought we both moved on." I explained.
"I really wish you would have come to me. This could have happened so much sooner." Wyatt said.
"What could have happened?" I asked.
"Us." Wyatt smiled, "Us again."
"Chris needs us now." I said.
"Yeah, he does." Wyatt said grabbing my hand in his, "We're going to help him together."
"Together." I nodded.
-
"Give me the baby!" Chris screamed at Bianca. Bianca was frightened! She had never seen Chris as upset as he was at the moment. He had orbed in and demanded that she give him the baby. She knew something was up by the way he orbed and the discoloration of the orbs. She took the baby and ran back into the bedroom, slamming the door before it blasted off its hinges! Bianca screamed and took steps back, ready to teleport away.
"Chris!" Wyatt yelled.
Chris whirled around in time to get a potion to replicate my powers thrown at him! He was sent spiraling back into the wall and Wyatt, Warren, and I began to chant the dis-possessing spell, but when we were finished, Chris stood with a look of pure rage on his face and threw his hands up, causing us all to fly backwards! As we stood again, lightning shot over our heads, causing us to scatter!
"Dammit! That should have worked!" I screamed over all the noise.
"He's not possessed!" Warren shouted back, "Not by a demon."
"Then what?" Wyatt shouted.
"It's a spell!" Warren said.
"The Collective!" I shouted, "They must have witches!"
Wyatt came out from behind the wall he was hiding behind and stood across the room from Chris, who stopped at the sight of Wyatt.
"Get Bianca and the baby out of here." Wyatt said with a deep baritone voice.
"Go." I said to Warren.
"What about you?" Warren asked.
"I'm not going anywhere!" I said, "Now go!"
Warren nodded and ran through the door, disappearing with Bianca and the baby. Wyatt placed his palms out in front of him and so did Chris.
"I knew it would come to this..." I said, worried.
Chris sent electricity at Wyatt and Wyatt sent pure energy his way and when both met in the middle, a shockwave took me off my feet! I looked up to see a struggle of power! Chris' lightning versus Wyatt's energy! I would have bet on Wyatt because of the whole `twice-blessed' thing, but Chris was stronger than anyone ever gave him credit for. Bianca's poor apartment was being destroyed, furniture piece by furniture piece! The sofa was torn in half and the walls had big holes in them from where the energy split and cracked it. I was on the floor, crawling for safe haven.
"Halliwell men!" I groaned. I stood up and walked over to them. I was debating on what to do and I couldn't find a suitable alternative.
"Say a spell!" Wyatt groaned against all the power!
"Power of the witches rise, powers of this witch reprise, enjoin my powers with Wyatt, so that we may rise!" I improvised.
The spell took affect right away! Soon mine and Wyatt's powers were against Chris'. Chris was definitely feeling the strain of everything and orbed out in a swirl of dark orbs.
Wyatt looked over to me, "I thought I told you to leave." He said angrily, "That shockwave almost...You could have been killed."
I looked away from him.
"We can't do this anymore." Wyatt said, "I can't have you in direct danger."
"What do you want me to do, bind my powers?" I joked.
Wyatt was quiet.
"No! I'm not going to do that. No way in Hell." I frowned.
"I can't watch you die." Wyatt said, "Please?"
-
"How'd it go?" Piper questioned as we orbed into the attic, "Is he alright?"
"He nearly kicked our asses." I said.
"Mouth!" Piper shushed.
"I think we might have underestimated him." Wyatt frowned.
"I think we need to change up our tactic." I said, "Did warren bring Bianca and the baby here?"
"Yeah, they're in Chris' room." Leo said.
"Any word from our whitelighter?" I asked.
"He went up there," Piper said pointing toward the ceiling, "He wanted to tell them about the Collective."
"How long has he been gone?" Wyatt asked.
"A while. He didn't think he should leave with everything that was going on, but we convinced him." Leo said.
"Anybody heard from Phoebe or Paige?" I asked.
"Paige just left and Phoebe had to go back to work." Piper answered.
"She's no doubt covering my ass." I said.
"Language!" Piper insisted.
"Right." I nodded, "My butt, covering my butt."
"Thank you." Piper smiled.
"We have it covered if you want to leave." Wyatt said quickly, "Warren and I can..."
"Get your as...butts handed to you? Yeah, I know." I frowned, "You've got to get over this."
"Get over what?" Leo asked, looking between us.
"Wyatt wants me out of the picture." I said, "He wants me to bind my powers and be..."
"Me?" Leo smiled begrudgingly.
"Yes." I said quickly, "No offense, I just like my powers."
"It is a hard decision to make." Leo said.
"I don't think I like that," Piper said, "It leaves him open."
"Not with me around." Wyatt said.
"You're not always going to be around." I said quickly.
"I will always be around!" Wyatt said angrily.
"Are you going to quit your job and stay with me twenty-four seven?" I asked.
"If you want. If that's what you want, then yes!" Wyatt said.
"Wyatt," I sighed, "That's exactly what I don't want."
"What do you want me to do?" Wyatt asked.
"You really want to know?! I want you to treat me like I can defend myself. I want you to stop talking about binding my powers!" I said loudly.
"Whose powers are getting bound?" Melinda asked, walking in.
"Not mine." I said, crossing my arms.
Wyatt groaned, "What is it Melinda?" he grumbled.
"I was just informed that my big brother is domestically violent." Melinda smirked, "Just coming to see which one."
"I hate to say this, but can you two handle this later?" Piper asked, "Chris is out there somewhere and we need him back."
"Piper's right." I nodded, "Mel, can you go and get Warren, Bianca, and Matthew?"
"Sure." Melinda smiled, turning and leaving the room.
"We need a spell." I said.
"A spell? Coming right up." Piper said, "Leo, would you join me?"
Leo looked at her, "Oh! Yeah, we'll be back." He said, leaving with her.
I sighed and grabbed Wyatt by his sides, "You! Listen, I love you. I want this with you more than anything I've ever wanted." I kissed him like the old times, when it was all new.
Wyatt smiled and kneeled down, "You mean it? Marry me. Again." He asked.
I looked at him, concerned, "Wyatt...we're not divorced. Are we?" I asked.
"No, let's get our vows renewed." Wyatt said happily, "Let's take a honeymoon and get away from all this."
I stood there, shocked.
"Well, say yes!" Melinda squealed.
I chuckled, "Yeah. Yes!" I yelled hugging him.
"Touching." Chris said, orbing in.
"Chris." I said, shocked.
"I remember when I was tapping that a..."
"Chris!" I shouted.
"Say what?" Bianca asked, looking between me, Wyatt and Chris.
Wyatt and I looked away at the floor sheepishly.
"It was sooooooo long ago." I shrugged.
Bianca looked a mix between outraged and shocked.
"Not really the time." Wyatt said.
"You knew too?" Bianca asked.
"Inside out, outside in, upon the powers we call again, bring back the Chris we know and take away this evil clone." Piper said, "Say the spell!"
"Inside out, outside in, upon the power we call again, bring back the Chris we know and take away this evil clone." Wyatt, Warren, and I chanted. Chris' body seemed to shake and red energy was sucked from his body and disappeared through the floor. Chris looked between all of us and then at Bianca. He opened his mouth to say something but Bianca ran out of the room. Chris then looked to us and orbed out of the room.
"That wasn't pleasant." Warren said, causing us all to look at him, "So who in this room haven't you slept with?"
-
Chris orbed into Bianca's apartment. They hadn't talk in a couple of days. Everything was murky and he was very upset. He hadn't wanted her to find out like that. He wanted to tell her when they were too old to care. Bianca looked up at him, but didn't stop sweeping.
"Where's the baby?" Chris asked.
"In his room, sleep." Bianca said.
"Can we talk?" Chris asked.
"You know, it wasn't even that you experimented with a guy!" Bianca shouted, "It was an experiment, right?"
"Yes." Chris said.
"It's because it was with your best friend! You two share a history that I can't compete with!" Bianca said.
"What are you trying to say? What do you want me to say?" Chris said.
"Say that you don't love him." Bianca said.
"He's my best friend." Chris said.
Bianca nodded, "You love him more than that, don't you?" she asked
"Bianca..." Chris started.
"I can't marry you," she said taking off the ring and handing it to Chris, "I'll drop the baby off at your house when it's your time to be with him. I'd really like it if you left now."
Chris nodded and orbed away.

Hey Guys (and coincidently girls) I just wanted to take the time to say that Charming the Halliwells might be coming to an end, not because I want to, but with the Charmed Comics coming out, it will be a little harder to keep continuity. But if you think I should keep on writing, just say and I'll work extra hard to stay with the comics. Also, you should really check out a story called "Because I'm Charmed" by Kadeem Ricahrds because he has a really good story to tell. And don't forget to pick up the comic which is already out I think. Thank you for reading
