The Day After By Donal/Gold

The sun was up and shining through the window. It hit Beth squarely in the face waking her up. She was on her back with Sally's head resting on her chest. Beth could only smile to herself as she remembered last night. Sally and she had made love for hours. It was a wonder that she could even wake up after only a few hours of sleep. She looked down at Sally with a lot of love in her heart. She didn't know how she knew, but for some reason she just did, that her and Sally would be together forever. That knowledge somehow made her eyes teary and at the same time gave her a secure feeling.

At about the same time that Beth had woken up, Lisa was waking up in the guest room. The sun had also woken her up. After last night with Stephanie, she knew there would never be anyone else in her life. It was just incredible what happened. After they had fallen asleep, Lisa had dreamt that her and Stephanie went through their respective high schools, graduated near or at the top of their classes and then went to the same college, rooming together the entire time. She had also dreamt that a few years after college, they had gotten married. That thought warmed her as she looked at Stephanie, who was still wrapped up tightly in her arms.

Sally opened her eyes and found her head resting on Beth's chest. She looked upward and saw Beth smiling at her. "Glad to see that you're finally up lover." Beth quietly said grinning.

Beth gave her a tender kiss, so filled with love that Sally almost cried.

"I thought it was all a dream last night but then I woke up in your arms and knew that it was all real." Sally smiled back at her and gave her a very tender kiss back.

At this time Stephanie was in the process of waking up. As she opened her eyes she found herself still wrapped up in Lisa's arms and breathed a sigh of relief. She saw Lisa looking at her and all she could see was love in those blue eyes. "I guess last night really happened. Lisa, I love you so much. Last night was just wonderful." Stephanie said quietly and with tears coming to her eyes.

"Baby, last night was just the first of many." Lisa said almost crying herself.

Lisa and Stephanie then came together and shared a tender, love filled kiss.

Beth's mom had started breakfast; eggs, bacon, sausage and orange juice for the girls; that is if they ever woke up. She had heard them last night and just wondered to herself what it would have been like if she had chosen Judy, her roommate in college over Bill. Well, that was in the past. She was so in love with her husband that she wouldn't even consider anyone else, let alone another woman.

"Girls, breakfast is almost ready. If you're hungry, you better come down before we eat it all up." Beth's mom called out with some amusement.

All the girls heard Beth's mom from downstairs and started getting dressed in a hurry. Almost at the same time both bedroom doors opened and all four of the girls just looked at each other and started smiling. Lisa and Stephanie were holding hands as they came down, as were Sally and Beth.

Beth's parents were seated at the table when all four girls came down. "Good morning ladies. Hope you all slept well? We both thought we heard something last night, but couldn't tell what it was." Beth's father said with a twinkle in his eye.

All of the girls just blushed and Beth's mom found it adorable. "Girls, go ahead and grab what you want to eat. So, what are your plans for today ladies?"

"Actually mom, we really haven't decided on anything yet but Sally and Lisa both have to call their parents a little later. Maybe after they talk to them, then we'll decide on what to do." Beth said with a smile on her face.

"Well, after you girls eat breakfast and help to clean and put the dishes away, I expect that you will all need a shower. Beth, please remember to clean up after yourselves."

"Yes mom. I won't forget." Beth said sheepishly.

Lisa, Sally and Stephanie just chuckled.

Beth looked at the three of them, "And just what do you three think you're laughing at. You will be helping me clean up so we can get out of here."

Lisa looked over at Stephanie and just smiled, "Don't worry Beth, we'll help you. We want to spend the entire day together if that's possible."

Sally just looked over at Beth and beamed.

While they were all eating breakfast, talked turned to school and how their grades were; they talked about the latest fashion styles, music, movies, you know, the usual small talk when it involves four teenage girls. Beth's mom talked about her garden that she was working on. Beth's father was taking this all in while they were all talking, and realized that his "little girl" was no longer the little girl that he remembered. He saw the look in her eyes whenever she looked over at Sally and realized that she was really in love with her. He was glad that Beth finally found someone that she could share her life with a thought which brought a smile to his face.

"Dad, what are you smiling at?" Beth asked quizzically.

"Oh, just something I was thinking about sweetheart."

Beth's mother looked at her husband and knew instantly what he was thinking about. He was thinking about how happy Beth was since she met Sally and saw how much in love Beth was with her.

She smiled at her husband and gently reached out to touch his hand. He looked over at her and smiled back.

As the girls watched this display of emotions from Beth's parents, they were all thinking the same thing; did it really show on their faces how much they were in love with each other and if it did, how long would it last?

After they removed the dishes, washed the table and placed the dishes in the dishwasher, they all went back upstairs to talk about what they were going to do today. "Well ladies, I think before we decide what to do, why don't we take our showers first. And since Lisa and Stephanie are the news ones here, let's let them be the first ones." Beth told them.

Lisa and Stephanie went quietly into the guest room to get ready for their showers when Lisa stepped up to Stephanie, placed her hands on her hips, looked deeply into her eyes and gently kissed her. "Stephanie, instead of taking separate showers, you want to shower together?" Lisa quietly asked her.

Stephanie looked deeply into Lisa's eyes and gently kissed her back, "I would love to, sweetheart." She quietly said as she smiled at Lisa.

Beth and Sally walked into Beth's bedroom to get ready to take their showers when they heard the shower going. They heard voices in there and realized that Lisa and Stephanie were showering together. They looked into each others eyes, and came towards each other. Beth was looking down at Sally as she wrapped her arms around her waist. Sally had to stretch a little to wrap her arms around Beth's neck. Their lips met halfway in a very chaste kiss. After breaking apart and looking deep into each others eyes, their lips came together again but this time in a very hard and deep kiss. As their mouths opened, their tongues came out into each others mouths and they sucked real hard on them, causing them both to moan very loudly. As they continued kissing, Beth reached down to cup Sally's ass cheeks in her hands and lifted her up. Sally wrapped her legs around Beth's waist very tightly and couldn't believe this was happening. Sally's arms tightened around Beth's neck, and Beth's hands grasped Sally's ass that much harder. As they kissed, Beth started moving towards the wall and pinned Sally up against it. Their kiss deepened if that was possible, with their tongues going deeper into each other mouths. As the kiss went on, Lisa and Stephanie finished with their shower and knocked on Beth's door letting them know that they were done.

Beth and Sally's lips separated but only by a fraction of an inch. "God Beth, that was incredible. That was the most intense kiss we've given each other yet. I love you so much!" Sally whispered against Beth's lips.

Beth smiled sweetly at Sally, giving her a quick peck on the lips, "Babe, you haven't seen anything yet. Come on, it's our turn in the shower."

While Sally and Beth were kissing, Lisa and Stephanie entered the bathroom.

Each of them took off each others clothes, but instead of playing around before they went into the shower; they decided to wait until they got into the shower.

Lisa went to turn on the shower to get the water warm before they stepped in. As it became warm enough, Lisa looked at Stephanie and held out her hand. Stephanie took Lisa's hand and they walked into the shower. "Can I wash you Stephanie?" Lisa asked as she took Stephanie into her arms.

Stephanie came closer, placed her arms around Lisa's neck and kissed her very tenderly. "You can do anything you want to me, honey." She said quietly.

Lisa grabbed the liquid soap and started washing Stephanie making sure she was squeaky clean everywhere. After rinsing Stephanie off, she lingered longer than necessary at Stephanie's pussy; especially when she cleaned it out with her tongue.

Then it was Stephanie's turn to wash Lisa. Stephanie grabbed the soap, poured it into the wash cloth and started washing Lisa. Again, because their time was limited in the shower, Stephanie had to make sure that Lisa was very clean and when she got to Lisa's pussy, she spent a little more time cleaning Lisa's pussy out with her tongue also.

They got done in the shower and took turns drying themselves off. As they got out of the bathroom, Lisa knocked on Beth's door letting them know that they were done showering.

After the girls got done showering and cleaning the bathroom up, they made sure the bedrooms were straightened up. Lisa and Stephanie walked into Beth's bedroom and saw Beth and Sally making out again. "Hey you two, don't you ever stop?" Stephanie said with a smile

Beth and Sally broke apart smiling, "We just can't seem to keep our hands off of each other squirt. We're like you and Lisa." Sally said to her sister laughing.

Stephanie came over to her sister and stuck her tongue out at her.

"I think it's time that we called our respective parents. What do you think Lisa?" Sally asked her.

"I guess it's about time." Lisa said.

Lisa decided to make the call first. "Hello Mom. I thought I would give you a call a little earlier than 12:00." Lisa listened a little, "Yeah, I had a great time, thanks." She listened a little more, "You're kidding aren't you mom?" Lisa listened very intently this time. "Are you sure mom? You mean you want to meet them tonight? Okay, I will ask them, hold on." Lisa looked at the receiver for a second before looking at the girls. "Hey guys, my mother would like to meet all of you. Would you like to come over to my house for dinner tonight?"

The rest of the girls just looked at Lisa, made a quick decision and all at once said `YES!"

"Mom, they would all love to. Sally and Stephanie have to call their parents and ask them but they said their parents would probably say yes. Thanks Mom, I love you. See you soon." Lisa hung up the phone and just stared at it nervously.

"Lisa, what's wrong sweetheart?" Stephanie asked her with a worried expression on her face.

"Actually nothing's wrong. It's just what my mother said before we hung up."

"And what was that?" Stephanie asked.

"Well, she said that she especially wanted to meet the person that has changed my life so much." Lisa said smiling.

Stephanie looked a little nervous herself when she heard that.

"Stephanie, don't worry about anything. I have already told my mom all about you and she said yesterday, quote, "I would like to meet the lucky lady that has my daughters affections." unquote. But she said it with a very big smile on her face." Lisa said enthusiastically.

You could see the tension leave Stephanie's face right after Lisa told her that.

"Well, sis, I think it's about time we called our parents." Stephanie told her sister.

While Sally was calling her parents, Beth went downstairs to ask her mother and father if she could eat dinner over at Lisa's.

"I don't see a problem honey. Leave me Lisa's phone number just in case and if you're going to be late tonight, please don't forget to call us. We worry about you from time to time. You may be able to defend yourself but we are still your parents, honey."

"No problem mom. I know that you worry about me but I love both of you and you know that." She wrote down the phone number for Lisa and gave it to her mom. Then she walked over and gave her mom and dad a hug, and went back to her room to let Lisa know.

As Beth came back upstairs, Sally was just about to get off the phone with her mother, when her mother asked her something, "Well mom, Beth's mother name is Elizabeth Darlene Wilson and her father's name is William. Why do you ask?" Sally could hear an intake of breath on the other end of the phone and was a little worried. "Lisa's parents, their names are Alyssa and Walter." Again, Sally heard another intake of breath from her mother and was really worried this time. "Mom, are you okay?" Sally listened for a while and finally she felt relaxed after listening to her mother. "Okay mom. We still have to drop our stuff at the house before we go back out. The squirt and I we'll see you soon. Love you mom."

"Sis, what was that all about?" Stephanie asked worriedly

"Mom said she would tell us when we got home. At first it sounded like she was really troubled about something but then she told me not to worry and she would explain everything to us when we saw her later. Oh, she also said that we can go over Lisa's for dinner."

Beth and Lisa were looking at their girlfriends, with nervousness written on their their faces, but then when Sally mentioned that last part, that look disappeared.

Stephanie then came over and jumped into Lisa's arms and just hugged her while Beth went over to Sally and hugged her also.

The girls all came downstairs, Sally, Stephanie and Lisa with their bags over their shoulders, with Beth following them down. They found Beth's parents curled up on the couch in the living room watching a romantic oldie movie called "Breakfast At Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. "Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, I just wanted to thank you for dinner and inviting me to sleep over." Lisa said smiling at them.

"You're very welcome Lisa. We hope to see more of you in the future. We have your phone number and maybe our families can get together soon and have a cookout one of these days while the weather is still warm enough." Beth's father said.

"My sister and I would like to thank you too. Thanks for having us over for dinner and inviting both of us to sleep over. I'm just surprised that my little sister and I didn't do any arguing while we were here." Sally said smiling at Beth's parents.

Beth's mother looked up at Sally with a smile, "Well, Sally. From what you told me of your sister and yourself, you do get into arguments but that's just being sisters. Besides, you were both "occupied" with something else yesterday, and you know that your always welcome here Sally. Please let your parents know that we would like to meet them soon. Like my husband said, we can get together at a cookout and have some fun. By the way Sally, what are your parent's names?"

Sally looked at Beth's mother and told her. "My mother's name is Judy Krieger and my dad's name is Eugene Krieger."

At soon as Sally told Beth's mom her mother's name, she looked a little startled but recovered quickly. Her husband noticed though but the girls didn't. "What's your mom look like Sally? I might know her from someplace."

As Sally started describing her mother, Beth's mom sat up and realized who Sally was describing. It was her old college roommate that she had an affair with before she met her husband. "Sally, with your accent, you're not from around here, are you?"

"No, Mrs. Wilson, my family moved here a few years ago from North Carolina, why?"

"Oh nothing. From your description of your mother, it sounded like someone I knew in college." Beth's mom told her.

"That's really interesting because my mother went to the University of Connecticut, received her Masters in Business Administration. But a couple of years after that, my real father passed away and we moved out of the area. My mother met my step dad in North Carolina and we stayed there up till a few years ago."

"Sally, I also went to the University of Connecticut where I also studied Business Administration. But when I met my husband, I decided that I wanted to be a stay at home mother so I could raise Beth the right way."

While this conversation was going on between Sally and Beth's mom, Lisa had been listening to the whole thing. As soon as Sally mentioned her mom's name, something clicked inside of her head. It was something that her mother told her a few weeks ago. Now she remembered, it was about her mom's best friend in high school. A girl by the name of Judy! Oh my god, she thought to herself. Could it be the same person that her mother had fallen in love with? No, that's impossible. She would have to ask her mom when she had the chance.

"Well, let's go ladies. We have things to do and people to see." Beth said laughing

As soon as the girls left the house, Beth's mom stood up and walked around the living room nervously. Her husband noticed that something was bothering her but didn't want to say anything just yet. She would tell him in her own way. He watched her take a deep breath, "Bill, remember me telling you about the affair I had in college with my roommate?"

"I remember sweetheart. Her name if I remember it correctly, was Judy, wasn't it?" As soon as he said Judy's name, it suddenly dawned on him who they were talking about. "Do you think it's the same person Liz?" He asked his wife.

"Yes, it's Judy. From the description that Sally gave us, she's my old college roommate."

Her husband looked at her, came over to her and hugged her tightly. He had never loved anyone like he loved his wife. She was everything to him. "Are you okay with this Liz? You know you're eventually going to have to see her again don't you?"

"Yes, I know I will. But the interesting thing in all of this sweetheart, is that when Judy and I had this affair, she told me of her first girlfriend. It was while she was in high school and her name was Alyssa. From the way Judy described her to me one night, she bares a striking resemblance to Lisa. Brown hair, blue eyes and very pretty from what I remembered Judy telling me."

"Liz, are trying to tell me that you may have a mutual acquaintance in Lisa's mother?" Her husband said astonished

"I believe so sweetheart." She looked at her husband, went over to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She gently gave him a kiss on the lips and he kissed her back very tenderly. "I love you very much, Bill."

"I love you too. Come on. While Beth is away, it's our turn now." He smiled at his wife while picking her up to carry her into their bedroom.

As the girls walked over to Sally and Stephanie's house, Lisa had been thinking about the conversation she had listened to while at Beth's. She still couldn't believe that Stephanie's mom may be her mother's old girlfriend from high school.

"Hello, earth to Lisa. Is everything okay?" Stephanie asked her.

"I'm sorry Stephie, I was just thinking about something and I zoned out." Lisa explained to her.

"Hey, no problem sweetheart. We're just about there." Stephanie smiled at Lisa and grabbed her right hand.

Lisa smiled back at Stephanie and just sighed with happiness.

They all got to Sally and Stephanie's a little before 11:30 am and found their parents in the dining room drinking some coffee and talking with each other.

"Hey mom, Hey dad. How's everything going?" Sally asked them.

"Well hello girls. And how did your dinner and sleepover go?" Sally's father said with grin.

"It went great dad. The dinner was great. We all sat in Beth's room and watched "The Matrix" and after that, since it was a little late, we just turned in for the night." Stephanie told her parents leaving out the more juicy details of the night.

Their parents looked at the girls who all had smiles on their faces and the look of love in their eyes and just smiled at each other.

"Sally, Stephanie can I talk to you alone please? Beth and Lisa can stay here and have something to drink if they want to."

As they followed their mother, they were starting to get worried. The only time that she asked them to come with her, is when they did something to get her mad, like arguing real loud with each other. They followed her into the family room where they had some privacy.

"Girls, please sit down. There's something that I need to tell you two before you go back out." Their mother sighed and continued. "Remember me telling you sometime ago that when I was in high school I fell in love with my best friend? And remember me telling you her name?"

Sally looked at her mother and had a feeling she knew what was coming. "Yeah mom. Didn't you tell us that her name was Alyssa?" As soon as Sally said that, everything finally clicked in her mind. She looked at her mother with complete surprise.

"That's right sweetheart. My best friend that I fell in love with in high school just happens to be Lisa's mother! And that's not the only surprise I have for you two. My college roommate that I also told you about happens to be Beth's mother!"

Sally's mother just sat down and looked at her two daughters and sighed.

Sally and Stephanie just sat there stunned. They didn't know what to say to their mother. They both knew of her two affairs because their mother had told both of them long ago but they didn't realize until now who the women were.

"Mom, how come you didn't tell us this back when you told us of your affairs before you met dad?" Stephanie quizzically asked her.

"Well sweetheart, back then I had no idea that you two would fall in love with girls. I just thought that you young ladies would grow up and date young men, fall in love, marry and have kids. I never realized that my daughters would follow in my footsteps and fall in love with other women. I am happy that you two found someone to fall in love with, I just didn't think it would be the daughters of the two women that I fell in love with."

Sally and Stephanie just sat there for few moments thinking about what their mother just told them. "Mom, should we tell Lisa and Beth what you just told us?" Stephanie asked.

"Why don't you hold off and see if their mothers tell them. If they ask, be honest with them. They both seem to be very nice girls and they are definitely in love with you two. It seems like their mothers' brought them up right and for that I am grateful. Just like I am very grateful with you two; that is until you two start arguing! Oh and by the way, your father also knows about this." Their mother said.

As they walked back upstairs to the dining room, Sally and Stephanie were looking at each other and trying to decide what they were going to do. Each of them finally decided that unless Beth and Lisa asked them, they were not going to bring the subject up. When they got to the dining room, they saw Beth and Lisa talking to their father, who just happened to be talking about internet security. "Dad, are you boring our girlfriends with your talk about the safety of internet surfing?" Stephanie said to him smiling.

"Don't worry about it, Stephanie. Actually, your father is very interesting to listen to. He's actually told us what we need to do to stop Spy Ware and Viruses from getting onto our PC's." Lisa said smiling.

"Come on upstairs with us while we put our bags in our rooms." Sally said as she grabbed Beth to drag her upstairs.

Lisa followed Stephanie up to her room as Beth was dragged by the hand up to Sally's room. As Beth entered Sally's room, Sally jumped into her arms, wrapping her arms around Beth's neck and her legs around Beth's waist and just stared into her eyes for what seemed like hours but was in actuality only seconds. "What am I going to do with you Sally?" Beth said quietly as she smiled at her lover and best friend and lowered her hands to grasp Sally's butt.

"Since we're only here for a short time I guess the only thing to do is this." And with that, Sally smashed her lips into Beth's and they kissed with a building passion that only two lovers have for each other. As they kissed, Sally could feel herself getting wet between her legs and tightened them around Beth's waist and moaned very loudly. Beth could feel Sally getting warm between her legs, just as she was herself. Beth was amazed at her feelings for Sally. It had only been a couple of weeks since they met and she was just falling deeper in love with her. She started caressing Sally's butt very lightly and felt Sally's legs get tighter around her waist. Sally couldn't believe how hard she had fallen for Beth. She was so totally in love with Beth at this moment in her life that she would do anything for her. They continued to kiss until they heard a quiet knocking at the door. Their lips came apart but only just enough so the two of them could smile and whisper their love for each other.

While Beth and Sally were kissing in Sally's room, Lisa had followed Stephanie into her room. But this time as Stephanie closed the door, Lisa grabbed Stephanie, pinned her up against the wall, and furiously kissed her. As Lisa's arms got tighter around Stephanie's waist, Stephanie's arms got tighter around Lisa's neck. Their tongues entered each other's mouths and they sucked each other's tongues so hard that each of them thought they were going to have their tongues pulled out. As Lisa was kissing Stephanie, she still could not believe how fast she had fallen in love with Stephanie. When Lisa spun her around and pinned her against the wall and started kissing her, she was startled but very happy that Lisa had done that, liking it when Lisa was assertive. As they kissed, Stephanie felt her insides melt as Lisa tightened her arms around her waist. She couldn't believe this was happening to her. She had fallen in love with Lisa so fast that her head spun. It was a feeling that she hoped she never lost for her lover and friend. As the kiss died down, their lips came apart, they looked at each other and smiled. "Lisa, I love you." Stephanie said with such feeling that Lisa started to cry a little. Stephanie saw the tears and kissed them away. "Stephanie, I love you too, honey." Lisa said with such passion that Stephanie started to cry herself. They kept their arms around each other as they continued to stare at each other until they realized that they had been in the room for 15 minutes. They were just about to start kissing again, when they heard a soft knocking on the door. "Stephanie, are you girls decent in there?" She heard her mother through the door.

"We'll be right out mom."

As all four of the girls walked downstairs, two of them had something else on their minds; Beth's and Lisa's mother. They didn't know what to do but little did they realize that later on that night, the problem would solve itself.

The four girls decided to take a short walk before they went over to Lisa's. They walked around the neighborhood holding hands, and just enjoying themselves. There were other people out in their yards; raking leaves, cutting the grass, just performing the usual yard work. They passed by a house and didn't notice anyone coming out of it until someone yelled to Lisa, "Hey Lisa, how's everything going?" Lisa looked over at Amber coming out of her house.

"Hey Amber. Everything's going pretty good. I'd like you to meet some friends. Amber, this is my girlfriend, Stephanie, her sister Sally (she met Amber's eyes when she mentioned Sally's name) and Sally's girlfriend Beth."

"Hello Stephanie. It's nice to meet you. Lisa mentioned you yesterday at school and I just wanted to meet the girl that has finally put a permanent smile on my friends face." Amber shook hands with Stephanie, Sally and Beth

"Nice to meet you too, Amber. You want to walk with us for a little while?" Stephanie asked her.

"That's okay Stephanie. I'm on my way over to a friend's house. I'm spending the night over at her house." Amber was telling Stephanie while she looked at Lisa.

As Amber walked off, Stephanie was looking at Lisa with a questioning look. "Lisa, is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine. Why do you ask?"

"Well, the look you gave you Amber when she said that she was going over a friends house for the night was kind of strange." Stephanie said with a twinge of jealousy.

Lisa heard that jealous tone in Stephanie's voice and had to say something before she said something that would upset Sally, "Stephanie, everything's fine. I've known Amber since the second grade and until you came along in my life, she was my best friend. We're still great friends, but you take priority in my life now."

Stephanie just smiled at what Lisa just told her, grasped her hand a little tighter and started walking again. Sally and Beth told Lisa that they thought Amber was very nice and would like to meet her when they had more time.

When they got Lisa's and Lisa unlocked the door, they noticed that her parents were not home. Lisa yelled out for her parents but no one answered her back. She started looking around and found a note that they left for her. The note to Lisa was letting her know that her parents went out to get food for dinner and that they were going to use the grill tonight because it was such a nice evening for it.

As the girls congregated in the kitchen, Lisa asked them if they wanted anything to drink. Stephanie wanted a 7up, Beth and Sally decided on a Diet Pepsi. They sat around talking for a while when Lisa's parents showed up loaded down with food for the cookout. "Hello girls, how is everything? Lisa, would you like to introduce us please?"

Lisa was a little nervous but introduced everyone. "Mom, Dad this is Sally and Beth." Sally and Beth went over to shake hands with Lisa's parents. "Mom, Dad I want you to meet my girlfriend Stephanie." Lisa smiled a little nervously.

"It's finally good to meet you ladies, especially you Stephanie." Lisa's mother said smiling. "We are glad to finally meet the young lady that captured our daughters heart."

Stephanie was standing there kind of nervous when Lisa's mother came over to her and actually hugged her. She was very surprised but very happy about this outcome and hugged Lisa's mother back. Lisa's father came over and hugged Stephanie too. When he stepped back, everyone noticed that Stephanie was blushing. "Welcome to the family Stephanie!" Lisa's father said smiling.

"Girls, I just want you to know that you are always welcome here. Stephanie, as long as you take care of our daughter, and keep her happy, you will have no problem with us." Lisa's mother beamed at Stephanie.

"Okay ladies, how about helping us put the groceries away and start preparing dinner for all of us. And there will also be four more people joining us for dinner." Lisa's father said to them with a little grin on his face.

Lisa's mother just looked at him with a conspiratorial smile on her face that said "Don't say another word" and started unpacking the food.

As the girls helped unpack the groceries, they noticed that Lisa's parents got quieter about the other people coming over tonight but were still talkative to the girls. They asked them how the previous evening went, and if they enjoyed themselves. Of course all of the girls answered in an affirmative but did not go into detail about the evening. Lisa's parents had an idea what happened but they were okay with it. They left the steaks, chicken and the corn on the cob out so they can get it all ready to be grilled. Just as Lisa's mother was getting ready to bring the food out to the back, the doorbell rang. "Girls, can someone get the door for me. My hands are a little full."

Lisa had decided to go answer the door with Stephanie in tow leaving Beth and Sally in the kitchen to help out. As soon as Lisa opened the door her jaw just about dropped and hit the floor. Standing in the doorway were Stephanie and Sally's parents.

PART 2

Lisa and Stephanie were stunned when they opened the door and saw Stephanie's parents standing there. "Well, are you girls just going to stand there and gape at us or are you going to invite us in?" Stephanie's mother said smiling.

"Sorry Mrs. Krieger but my parents told me that there would be some other people coming over to dinner but they didn't tell us who. This is a surprise but come on in." Lisa said nervously.

"Hello mom, dad. Didn't we just see you two a couple of hours ago?" Stephanie said as she came over and gave her parents a hug.

Her mother looked at her and asked her quietly, "Well, what do you think of Lisa's mom and my old girlfriend from high school sweetheart?"

"She seems very nice mom. She even gave me a hug and welcomed me to the family." Stephanie said with a big grin on her face.

Sally and Beth were wondering what was taking so long, so they decided to come on out of the kitchen at that moment. When they saw it was Sally's parents, they just about went into shock also. Sally came on over and hugged her parents too.

While they were standing there, the door bell went off one more time. When Lisa opened it this time, she found herself staring at Beth's parents. She was really floored this time because she knew that her mom had been involved with Stephanie's mom, and Beth's mom had been involved with Stephanie's mom also. "Come on in Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. Stephanie's parents just got here a few minutes ago." Lisa told them very nervously now.

As Beth's parents walked into the room, Beth's mother looked at Sally's mother, came over to her and gave her a very big hug and had tears in her eyes. At about that time, Lisa's parents walked into the room to see what was taking the girls so long with the food. Lisa's mother just stared at her old best friend and lover; she walked over to Stephanie's mom and just couldn't believe that she and Judy were here, together in the same room for the first time in years. It was so quiet in the room that you could hear a pin drop. The ladies just stared at each other when Lisa's mom made the first move. She came over to Judy and threw her arms around her crying with joy.

The girls were just standing there watching everything that was going on. The last time Lisa saw her mother that emotional, was when her mother told her the story about her and Judy.

As Judy and Alyssa just hugged each other tighter and cried, Beth's mom came over to them and joined them in a three way hug and cry. All the husband's could do was just stand there and watch their wives tearful reunion. As the wives kept on crying, the father's introduced themselves to each other.

As the crying died down, the first one to speak was Lisa's mom, "Judy, sniff, I didn't think I would ever see you again, sniff. When you and your parents moved away I was heartbroken. I didn't know what to do, so I moped around my house almost all summer until my mother beat my butt so red, that I finally got the hint. I started dating again in my senior year and when I got to college, I met Walter. We fell in love and several years later we married and had two children; Walter jr. and Lisa."

"Alyssa, I never thought I would see you again either. When we moved, I thought my heart would break without you. I dated around just for show but then when I got to college, I met Liz and we had a great relationship for a few years. After graduation we moved on, Liz met Bill and I met a great guy, Alan Ryder. But after only a couple of years, he passed on. He had cancer and I had already had Sally and was pregnant with Stephanie. I then met Eugene when I had a problem at work with my computer. He fixed it and we immediately became friends. We married about a year after Stephanie was born." Judy told Alyssa.

Liz looked at Judy, then at Alyssa, "I guess we all have something in common ladies, our daughters have all taken after us!" She started laughing and the other mothers and then the fathers started laughing and couldn't stop.

The girls had been watching and listening all of this time and were amazed. But when their parents started laughing, they didn't think it was that funny to begin with but then they started laughing themselves.

As the laughing died down, Stephanie's mother came over to Lisa, hugged her and then said something that totally blew her away, "Lisa, I've known your mother for years and if you're anything like her, I am glad that Stephanie found you. All I ask is that you take care of her and love her."

All Lisa could do was cry with happiness. Stephanie came over to her, put her arms around Lisa's neck as Lisa placed her arms around Stephanie's waist, they hugged and cried together.

As the parents watched this show of emotions from Stephanie and Lisa, they smiled then turned their attentions to Sally and Beth. Beth's mother came over to Sally and, looked at her, which caused Sally to squirm a little until Beth's mother said something which caused Sally to grin from ear to ear. "Sally, I know Beth has been lonely and when she finally met you, I realized that she had finally found someone that made her happy. I've seen the way both of you look at each other and realize that you both love each other very much. Please take care of her because I know she will take care of you. Again, that's all I ask of you." She then hugged Sally and gave her a little peck on her forehead. "Welcome to the family, Sally."

As Sally was standing there not knowing what to do, Beth walked over to her, wrapped her up in her arms and just hugged her. Sally wrapped her arms around Beth, looked into her eyes and started to cry. Beth also started crying but had the presence of mind to help Sally clean up her tears.

All the parents just looked at their daughters with pride in their eyes. "Alright everyone, let's get this cookout started. I'm getting hungry already." Lisa's father said laughing.

As the fathers' grilled the steaks, chicken and the corn on the cob, they talked about their families, sports and whatever, the girls were inside helping their moms with the salads and the drinks. The talk turned to what the mothers had been doing over the last few years. Judy and Liz, reminisced about their college years.

The husbands called out from the patio letting everyone know that the food was all cooked and ready to be eaten.

During the meal, they all talked about anything and everything. Sally's parents asked how she was doing in school (they knew that Beth was tutoring her) and she told them that her grades had improved from a 2.8 to a 3.4 average. They were very happy about that and told Beth that they appreciated the way she was helping Sally.

Alyssa turned to Judy and asked what had happened after she had moved away from the area.

Alyssa found out that when Judy started college and started the romance with Liz, she made the mistake of telling her parents that she was dating a woman in college. Her parents started berating her again for loving another woman but this time when her parents threatened her by withholding money for her college education, she stood up to them and told them that there was no way she was going to stop seeing Liz and that they would have to live with it or else she would never come back home. Her parents were stunned but when she brought Liz home for a visit one time and introduced her, their parents took an immediate liking to her. During the visit, Judy's parents got to know the person that Liz is and made one of their most momentous decisions of their lives; they took their daughter aside the day she was going back to college with Liz and told her that they thought that Liz was a very nice young lady and even though they were still a little uncomfortable about it, they gave their blessing to their daughter. They just wanted her to be happy and if being in a relationship with another woman made her happy, they would not stand in her way. Ever since then, Judy and her parents had made amends and when her and Liz got back to college, their relationship became even more serious.

But as luck or life would have it, fate stepped in. One day while walking back to her room, Judy had her head in one of her books and didn't see the boy that she crashed into. She was sprawled on the grass but wasn't hurt, just stunned. She looked up into the bluest eyes she had ever seen on a boy and although she had never been interested in boys before, this one was different. She found out that his name was Alan Ryder, a junior and majoring in Business Admin. After dusting herself off and introducing themselves, Alan asked if she would like to go the nearest coffee house, talk and get to know each other better. Judy said yes, captivated by his blue eyes. Before they knew it, they had been there for several hours. They found that they had a lot in common, including soccer. Well, one thing led to another and they fell in love with each other. At the same time Judy was falling in love with Alan; Liz had met William, who was in the process of getting his degree in Doctorate of Cardiology. The girls still remained friends and roommates but now had actual boyfriends for the first time in their lives. Judy's parents were now totally confused but again, as long as their daughter was happy they were happy for her.

Lisa and Stephanie were sitting next to each other and quietly talking to each other. They were mentioning the conversation that their mother's just talked about and were fascinated by it.

As they finished up the meal and started cleaning up, the parents had a surprise of sorts for the girls. Since Lisa was the only one not attending St. Francis, it would be a little harder on her but Lisa's parents knew that she would love what they were about to do for their daughter.

"Okay girls. Since you've finished up cleaning and straightening for us, could you please sit down while we talk to you." Lisa's mother started the conversation first.

The girls looked kind of nervous at first because all of the parents were at one end of the table and they were at the other end. "Since you have been with each other, especially Sally and Beth, we discussed what we could do to make things easier for you. What we mean is, that we would like, at least during the week, that you girls take turns coming over to each other's houses; sleeping over, eating dinner and us getting to know you better."

Beth's mother took over the conversation at that point. "Since Beth has been dating Sally, we have noticed a definite change in her for the better. She is more outgoing than she used to be, maybe because she finally has someone in her life that cares for her besides just us."

Beth looked over at Sally and beamed.

Sally's mother now had something to say. "And since Sally and Beth have been dating, not only have her grades improved but the arguing with her sister has been non-existent which is a miracle in itself." She said laughing a little.

"What about us Mom?" All of the parents heads turned towards Stephanie and Lisa.

"Well, let's see. What about you and Lisa? It seems that the first time you two looked at each other, you just knew something was going to happen. Besides myself, Lisa's mother was surprised that it happened so fast. I guess the old adage is true in your case honey, there is such a thing as Love at First Site. But again, as young as you two are, just remember that there will be obstacles in your path. We will be there to help you out but again, we are hoping that you two will be there for each other." Stephanie's mother said to the two youngest girls smiling.

"Alright girls, let's hear what you have to say on what we just told you." Lisa's mother asked them quizzically.

Beth looked around at the other girls knowing what they were probably thinking about and started. "Mom, Dad, I think I probably speak for all of us when I say thank you. We are surprised by the show of support from all of you but I would imagine that since our mother's have all had experiences with other women, (Beth said that smiling) we all welcome your help."

At that, all of the girls stood up and went over to their parents and just gave them a great big hug and a bunch of love you's. "Who wants to be the first group to sleep over our place tonight?" Lisa's mother was asking.

"Mom, I guess since I was invited over to Beth's last night, can Stephanie stay over tonight and then maybe next weekend, Sally and Beth can join us?" Sally asked with a innocent smile on her face.

"No problem sweetheart. I think Stephanie will have to go back home and get her things though, that is unless her parents had the foresight of bringing her clothes with them?" Lisa's mother said with a conspiratorial smile towards Stephanie's parents.

Judy looked over at her youngest with something that looked like pride in her eyes and told her to run out to the car to get her things so she could sleep over Lisa's tonight.

Stephanie was momentarily stunned, but quickly realized that her parents were anticipating her sleeping over Lisa's this evening. She started to blush and Lisa came over and placed an arm around her waist protectively. Stephanie looked at Lisa and both of her parents, then went off to get her things out of the car with Lisa by her side.

As Lisa and Stephanie were getting Stephanie's belongings out of the car, Sally and Beth were planning a night over at Sally's place and they couldn't wait.

"And what are you two planning to do tonight?" Beth's mother said looking over at her daughter and Sally.

"I was thinking of asking Beth to stay over at our place tonight Mrs. Wilson. You don't mind do you?" Sally asked Beth's mom.

"Well, I don't mind but maybe you should ask your mother first. They might have wanted the house to themselves tonight Sally." Beth's mom said with a smirk on her face.

Sally's eyes got real wide but then as soon as she saw her parents start to laugh her face got real red. "Mom, Dad, is it okay if Beth comes over tonight?"

"It's okay with us sweetheart. Just don't stay up too late!" Sally's father said laughing.

And with that statement, the party started to breakup. The mother's hugged one more time before they went home and the husbands planned a Sunday together going golfing.
