CH 20.

Tony woke in an all-white room. Only one word ran through his mind: escape. He jolted from the bed he was laying on and looked around as his eyesight adjusted. His heartbeat erratic, blood running cold, worsening as his panic grew more. He had an overwhelming feeling that he had to get out, but he couldn't remember why. A sharp pain rang through his body then faded.

He got up from the bed, He needed to collect his thoughts and survey the area he was in.

His clothes were white garbs. White shirt, pants, and flat white shoes. They were tighter than what he would have liked.

The one door to the room held no knob. Unfortunately, he could not reach it due to a glass plane dividing the room in half.

He looked up, a window on the wall where the bed was flushed against, but it was fairly high up like something he'd seen at a zoo.

Tony sat on the bed. Okay he couldn't remember where he was, or why he was wearing white clothes, but what about other stuff?

He knew he was Tony. He was a professional mover. His job was to help pack furniture into a truck, he liked it. It was simple job.

So, what was he doing here?

The door to the room opened. A portly man walked in with a grin. His eyes homed in on Tony from the moment he stepped in. He dressed professionally, flourishing a polished dark oak cane with a black top. Not of spec of dirt to be found anywhere on his purple suit. Had it not been for the man's death glare and strut, he could have been confused for a rather dapper gentleman.

"Hi, Mr. Delrose. You are here because you are exceptional." The man pointed his cane at Tony. "You are another important piece that will bring our studies to new heights." He tapped on the glass with his cane. "Are you listening?"

Tony had to hold his head. The taps on the glass were giving him headache. The sound vibrated in Tony's skull. He wanted it over.

"Ahh," The portly man pulled back his cane. "Sorry about your injury. You've suffered some memory loss, you shouldn't have run though."

"Run?"

"Yes, you were quite deceptive in getting out of here."

Tony shook his head, "Where am I, do I know you?"

The man on the other side of the glass sighed. "I'll see you again tomorrow. Try to rest up."

Tony was left alone in the room. The lights shut off, but he wasn't left in total darkness. There were small lights built into the bottom of the wall that gave a nightlight effect. Tony crawled into bed and fell asleep.

A week later, Tony was used to waking up when the lights in the room came on. This morning wasn't any different except his pecs were inflated. He cupped his chest; his nipples were leaking.

The door flung open and the fat dapper man, that Tony had took to calling Dr. Butterball, at least in his mind, had stepped into the room. Tony knew it wasn't the best name, but it was clear he was this guy's prisoner. Or rather he was this place's prisoner. He could hear other people in the building when the door opened. Too bad he still had no idea where this building was located, but he couldn't imagine it was in a bustling metropolitan area.

"We've come to milk you." Dr. Butterball motion as two brawny men stepped in; they were here to keep Tony in line as they had been doing the past week. Tony couldn't believe how strong they were. He was sure they were humans, but they could hold him down easily.

The glass pane dividing the room rose into the ceiling connecting both halves again. Tony got out of bed and followed the three men out the room. They had promised if he behaved, he'd get a change of scenery. Tony never thought he'd start complying, but then they refused to milk him.

Tony had always considered himself a self-sufficient cowman. He lived alone, milked himself, and went about his day as another man. For some reason since being capture and locked up in the strange facility. His chest constantly ached when he was full of milk. That had never happened before in his life.

He briefly considered that the people were sneaking medicine into his food that made him produce milk faster. He was sure his mammary glands were being over worked. However, if he ever said he wasn't hungry they'd make him eat twice as much the next day.

Tony sat on a chair while he got hooked up to the machine. Of course, he was already thinking of a way to slip past everyone. Unfortunately, his last escape attempt put all the guards on edge around him.

2 weeks passed. Tony found himself getting more into the daily routine. He was always ready for another milking a week later when previously out in the real world it had always taken him a month for his chest to get too annoying.

A month later, the routine had changed slightly. Dr. Butterball had Tony constantly working out then eating. It was never small meals either. They always served him a banquet. Vegetables, meat, fruit & grains of course but each one was protein packed. Tony had put on an extra 20 pounds since his imprisonment.

When he wasn't eating, they had him doing countless exercises to off put all that food weight. Tony found himself drained and tired every day. At nights, he crawled into bed and wondered if anyone was looking for him. He was close to a few coworkers, but would they know to call?

He considered his parents. He loved them, but he wasn't exactly the type of child that called them very often. He could go months without calling and his parents wouldn't mind.

Tony had to consider if he was ever getting out of here.

One day, Dr. Butterball strutted into the room. He wore his usual grin. The way the corner of his lips curled pissed Tony off. As if the man was playing an elaborate card game and knew he had the winning hand.

"My boy, we have a treat for you." The man motioned for Tony to follow him as he walked out.

Tony had given up trying to escape. He couldn't see the point anymore. Wherever he was trapped seemed endless. Long dark blue corridors with various people rushing by. His senses felt dulled in this place. He had been stuck inside that room for too long. Nothing to focus on or think about other than eating and working out.

Dr. Butterball escorted Tony into a room where four others dressed in the same white uniform sat on the floor. They were all muscular men in tight white clothes sitting cross-legged. Some were bulkier than others were, but there was no mistake these guys were in top form.

Standing around the room where guards armed with non-lethal weapons.

"Take a seat!" A guard pushed Tony on to the floor as Dr. Butterball disappeared to the room.

One of the men got up and shielded Tony from being pushed again. "He heard you the first time. All you had to do was ask."

Another of the guys came and walked Tony toward the center where the others were waiting. Tony sat down as the first man that protected him came and sat beside him.

"Looks like our group of Cowmen has grown, boys," the guy laughed patting Tony on the back.

"You guys are cowmen too?" Tony asked.

"Sure, are big guy, my name's Arden." The first guy stuck out his hand. He was Korean, had big brown eyes and a smile that would make anyone weak in the knees. Tony shook his hand. "Gotta say you got some pretty green eyes there," Arden added causing Tony to blush a bit. Tony smiled; Arden had the same thought about each other. More importantly he could flirt which meant this place hadn't crushed is spirit completely.

Arden pointed to the others in the group, "This is Riley." The man that had walked Tony over did a small wave. The other two were Killian and Sage. Sage gave Tony a nod, but Killian ignored Tony's existence completely.

Arden leaned over, "Don't mind him. He's just sad because you being here means two of our friends won't be coming back. They've gone on to the next stage."

Killian grumbled; Arden had struck a nerve.

"Next stage? Wait, do you know where we are? What is this? What's going on?" Tony grabbed Arden by the shoulder.

"Calm down," Arden rested his hands on Tony shoulders. "We were all like you when we arrived here."

Killian spoke up, "What he mean is that we were all kidnapped and torn from our families."

"Oh, now you decided to speak up?" Arden said.

Reily decided to continue the conversation, "We don't know why, but this place, these people have been collecting Cowmen."

"Huh, what do you mean? We're just trophies to them?" Tony asked.

Riley shook his head no. "What they're doing, feeding us, making us work out, milking us. It's like a farm but make no mistake these guys are studying us. This is some sick experiment."

"For what?" Tony asked.

"We don't know." Arden admitted. He looked towards the door, "But every so often that well-dressed fellow will come in here with a new Cowman usually a few days after other Cowmen in our group goes missing." Arden looked at Tony. "We've tried asking what he was doing to our missing friends, but all he ever said was. `They moved on to the next stage.' "

"That doesn't sound ominous at all," Tony shivered.

Arden laughed, "Yeah definitely has that `had to take the dog behind the barn and shoot him' kind of vibes doesn't it?"

"You think they're going to kill us?" Tony felt his body run cold.

Arden's eyes fell to the ground. The happy, jovial face and act he had put on was a façade for hiding a pain within him. "Would it be all that surprising?"

"Well, I don't think that's it." Killian's voice cut through. "Why would they go through the trouble of capturing us if they just wanted to kill us? They could have killed us to begin with. I think there's something else that's going on."

Tony looked around at the guards, "Should we be talking about this so loudly?"

Arden patted him on the back, "These guys don't care what we do. As long as we stay in line." He got up and walked close to a guard. "I could say the man that brought us here is a good for nothing son of a bitch, who's face I wouldn't mind rearranging." Arden waved a hand in the guard face.

The guard stood stoic.

"See?" Arden returned to his seat.

"Do you think they let them go?"

"New guy come on, if they had this place would've been shut down."

Tony nodded, "Okay, but where else could those other Cowmen be?"

"A different facility perhaps?" Riley threw in.

"Or maybe they are here, and they don't want us to know."

"Also, possible," Tony didn't know who was speaking he was letting the voices talk.

"How many Cowmen are trapped here? Just us and your friends?" Tony asked.

The four Cowmen looked at each other.

Killian sighed, "Hugo, our friend before you, said he was originally taken through 2 groups of Cowmen before he was stuck with us."

"I'm willing to bet there's a whole lot more trapped in here." Riley stated.

Tony looked around at the men on the floor with him. He leaned forward and whispered, "Wait, if there are that many Cowmen in here, we can all work together and get out."

"You are really dense." Killian shook his head laughing. "Why do you think they brought you here? If you're here it means you've given up the will to escape. They wouldn't introduce you to more Cowmen if they thought you'd pull something."

"Well then, they're not as smart as they think they are. I'm not the kind of guy who's just going to give up." Tony turned his gaze to each of the Cowmen around him. Killian, Sage, and Riley didn't have the fire in their eyes that Tony hoped for.

"I'm really starting to like this guy," Arden softly nudged Tony.

Killian let out a sigh. "Do whatever YOU want, just don't go involving others. Because all that'll be waiting for you is the cold bitter truth."

Tony pulled away from the group. The cold bitter truth. That may be true, that there was no escape. But didn't they at least owe it to themselves to at least try? Tony hadn't given up. Instead he learned how to make his distaste of being imprisoned less obvious.

The door to the room opened and in came, what could only be described as a catering service. The men and women had on black and white attire. They moved in a cohesive fashion. They came in set up a white fold up table and began laying food down on it. Fold up chairs were shuffled in.

All the cowmen besides Tony got up and sat in the chairs and food was put down. Arden motioned for Tony to sit beside him. Tony was speechless as the long table became endless. This was different from the feast he had been getting in is room. This was an all-out banquet.

The caterers disappeared out the room and the Cowmen dove in on the food. Tony sat stunned with the hunger the guys displayed, tearing into chicken and turkey legs, throwing mashed potatoes and cabbage and even more onto their plates.

Arden stopped from enjoying his meal. He scooted some food over to Tony, "You better eat up. You're going to need the energy later. They makes us work out like crazy."

Tony decided to hold off on his questions and dug into his food.

After they ate Tony wanted to collapse. He thought he would just eat modestly, but Arden kept encouraging Tony to eat more. Tony could feel his stomach expanding as he shoved food in. Arden cheered him on.

An hour passed before the good doctor, Butterball, strolled in. He rounded the Cowmen up and led them to a workout room. Tony stood by as he watch his new companions take to the machines.

"Go on then," Dr. Butterball shooed Tony away with a flick of the wrist.

Tony grunted but nonetheless made his way over to an exercise machine for his arms. His determination solidified. He would play along for as long as he needed, but he was going to get out of here. It was all just a matter of time.

A month later, after eating, exercising, and getting constantly milked Tony's plan was formulating. The best time to enact it would be in the hallways when they were escorting him to and from rooms. This wasn't a plan he could undertake alone. Well rather he chose not to undertake it alone. He couldn't escape leaving his friends. He couldn't save all the cowmen here, but him and his friends could alert the police, once they escaped.

Unfortunately, as time goes on situations changes, Riley was taken away to join another group, leaving four. Killan and Sage had opened up to Tony more, but they still weren't gung-ho about opposing their captors.

"Come on, do you guys want to be stuck here forever?" Arden whispered but stressed each word. They were in the feed room Tony surveyed the guards faces to make sure none were catching on while Arden tried to sway Killian and Sage into rebellion. "Even if you do slip from the guards in the hallway. Then what? You don't have a layout of this place." Killian shoved a piece of pork chop into his mouth.

"I already recorded the pathways I'm escorted through," Tony said, and turned around to face the group, "and after eavesdropping on many of the guards and workers conversation I have a general idea of how this place is built. We're in the underground of facility. All we have to do is make our way to the elevator and out the front door."

"You think It'll be that easy?" Sage asked.

"Of course, it won't be! They've made it clear how much they don't want us to escape." Tony slammed his hands on the table. The guards around the room grabbed for their weapons, but Arden stood up.

"It's okay, it's okay. Just a gentlemen's disagreement about sports, right fellas?" Arden smiled goofily at the guards then sat back down.

Tony took a deep breath. The escape plan rested on his and Arden's shoulders. There was no turning back now.

A week later, it was time.

Tony was walking back from his milking when he stopped and got on the ground as if tying his shoes. The flats he wore however were lace less. The guard escorting him nudged Tony and commanded him to stand. Tony took his arm and hit the guard in the back of the knees making him fall forward then he knocked the guard out with a strong punch to the face. All that exercise had been paying off.

Tony took off running in the opposite direction he needed to meet, Arden at the food room. If all went according to plan Arden should have done the same thing.

Fate was on his side, today. As he turned the corner, he spotted Arden. The other cowman had a hand on the wall while he caught his breath. He smiled when he caught sight of Tony.

"You ready to get out of here? Hot stuff" Arden winked.

Tony gave Arden a big hug, "You did it. You're actually here."

Arden smirked, "Was there ever any doubt?" He took off running with tiny behind him.

Neither Cowmen said anything, but there was obviously doubt. By sharing his plan, Tony was making himself vulnerable. There was the chance Arden would never have shown up, or even worse, he could have turned Tony in. Tony rejoiced over the fact his trust hadn't been misplaced.

Surprisingly, the hallways weren't crowded with people. Tony kept waiting for a guard of scientist to stop them, but no one appeared.

As they got closer to the elevator, they waited behind corners to let a few stragglers pass by, but once the coast was clear the two bee-lined for the elevator. Tony's shape had improved and though he was leading the charge, Arden overtook him in the race for the elevator. Noticing the distance between them Arden stopped and took Tony's hand. He didn't let go even when Tony was pressing for the elevator down button.

The moment the elevator arrived an alarm started blaring. The regular lighting in the hallway turned red. A voice came from above, announcing the disappearance of two Cowmen. Tony froze. They were discovered! Arden, however, wasted no time pulling Tony into the elevator the moment it arrived, and hitting the ground floor button.

"What's wrong, this is no time to freeze up!" Arden kept pushing the close door button.

Tony was staring ahead at the red lights. His mind was racing. He was getting a strong sense of déjà vu.

The doors began to close. A Guard came by and spotted them. He took off running towards them.

The door closed before his hand could get through.

Arden leaned back onto the elevator wall, "That was a close one!" when he looked at Tony, he noticed the other cowman was still staring ahead, motionless. "Hey you okay?" Arden put a hand on Tony's shoulder.

"That alarm...I was wondering, have you ever heard it before?" Tony looked back.

Arden scratched his head, "No, but dude I don't know if any Cowmen would be as crazy as us to try to escape."

Tony nodded his head, "But that's the issue. Arden, that fat guy that's in charge here, He told me I've escaped before. Which means that alarm has sounded. Though you didn't hear it. I'm guessing the other Cowmen didn't either." Tony folded his arms in a thinking stance, "Maybe the rooms are soundproof?"

Arden stuck his hand up as if he was in school, "Or maybe they added it after you escaped the first time."

Those red lights. Those aggressive red lights that spelled the end for Tony wouldn't stop playing in his mind along with the sound. Tony shook his head, "No, it happened." His memories of his original escape was starting to come back to him. However, within the pit of his stomach a sense of dread began to grow. No matter how much he tried to shake it, as their elevator rose, so did his fear.

The elevator stopped and opened.

"There's the front door," Arden pointed. They had entered a lobby that was completely empty. . The walls were oversized windows and the lights off with only the moonlight illuminating the area. It was hard to discern it from any normal business lobby. No one could guess what was taking place underneath. Arden still holding Tony's hand tried to step off the elevator, but Tony held him back.

"What are you doing?" Arden asked miffed.

"This is wrong," Tony's eyes flew around the room. Looking for someone, anyone. "The last time I did this when the elevator opened people were out here, not a lot, but I had to fight my way past them."

Arden stepped closer to Tony and put a hand on his cheek, "We don't have many other options though, do we? We can't go back down. If this is a trap all we can do is prepare ourselves." Arden smiled at Tony, "Then the first thing I'm going to do when we get out is take you on a date, Tony." Arden squeezed their hands and pulled Tony off the elevator.

Tony's heart was doing summersaults. That was the only time Arden hadn't used some nickname to refer to him. The two walked into the empty room. Once off the elevator, Tony searched around trying to listen, but it was no good, His senses were still dull.

Arden began pulling Tony to the front. A wise choice because Tony was getting overwhelmed staring out the window. There was nothing, but grass and trees around them.

"Trees?" Tony thought. His breathing became heavier and he felt that word and those trees scratching at his mind.

In an instant he was transported back to his memory of escaping. He had fought past the people in the lobby and with his tattered clothing ran into the forest. That first escape had its own dread. Tony thought he was close to a city, but he was proven wrong. So wrong. He ran and ran among through trees, like and endless maze.

And that's when he heard it.

Something coming up upon him. He kept running, but whatever it was approached swift like a mad beast. He'd look back, but nothing was there. When he'd turn around a hot breath would be on his neck. He was forced to think was the creature that close, or was its breath that powerful? Or was the night playing tricks on him?

Tony stumbled onto a clearing never letting up his speed, He gazed at the moon. The trees behind him rustled. A huge shadow stepped from them. The beast that had been hunting him. A large imposing figure. It had the shape of a human, but it's glowing eyes never left Tony's. It leapt up into the air. And then was upon Tony.

Then visons of being beat down by the monster played in flashes and glimpses.

That was how Tony's first escape ended.

Tony stopped Arden from walking, "We can't go out there!" He grabbed Arden arm in a tight grip.

"Didn't we discuss this?" Arden tenderly touched Tony's hand. "Even if we're afraid, there's no choice"

Hands shaking, Tony gripped both of Arden's arms, "You don't understand. They have some sort of monster watching the place. We can't win!" For once Tony was feeling the utter hopelessness that all the other Cowmen in the building must have felt.

Arden smiled and grabbed Tony's hand. "We're leaving this place together." He waited until Tony calmed down and started leading him to the entrance. The automatic front glass doors opened and they stepped out.

The cooling night air brushed against their faces. They breathed it in. It had beed too long since they could take in fresh air and a night's breeze. The two smiled at each other until a slow clap sounded behind them.

Dr. Butterball walked to them. "That was Brilliant! Brilliant! The way you were able to sneak out. Genius! I had a feeling you'd try it again young man."

"You knew?" Tony wanted to curse himself. If only he had his normal sense of smell, or hearing. They wouldn't have been caught off guard.

"Not `knew', suspected," Dr. Butterball clarified.

"Doesn't matter we're getting out of here," Arden spat back. He stepped in front of Tony blocking his body.

The man laughed at the two Cowmen, "And that bravery. OUTSTANDING!" then he let out a sigh, "Though for tonight I'm afraid we've reached the end." He snapped his fingers.

A giant figure made its way out of the trees. Arden's color drained. While Tony fell to his knees. A man, a huge man 7 ft 11 at the least, was standing there. He was a wall of muscle. His glowing eyes found Tony.

In any other context Tony would have thought the person in front of him was a handsome man, but he already knew what was in store.

"Who's this guy?" Arden legs wobbled but he wasn't backing down.

The portly Doctor strolled past them to stand aside the creature. "Do you both know what a Bullmen is?"

Tony's heart sank. A Bullmen? That was no Bullmen. He'd seen videos of Bullmen online. They were not oversized giants. Muscular and possibly on the tall side sure, but this guy was in another league.

"There's no way he's a Bullmen." Arden shouted.

The doctor patted the bullman's arm muscles, it was easily three of his heads put together. "Oh, but he is! He's no Robert Wadlow. But I'll admit his height is extreme. The others are much more natural. Though what can we do, that's what first generation is for."

"There are more?" Arden asked.

"Well, not here, it'd be a waste to use more than one to capture you two am I right?" The doctor stated.

It was true. Bullmen were at the top of the pyramid when it came to Cowmen. For a cowman to take on one would be stupid, but to take on a hulked-out version was suicidal.

The Doctor spoke, "Dear Arden, while I do commend your bravery, honestly, I think it's best if you give up now. I believe your boyfriend is suffering from PTSD from last time. Kai was really good at not leaving a mark." He looked towards the bullman.

Arden turned to Tony who was still on the ground. Tony hadn't said a word since the bullman, Kai appeared. Arden knelt beside Tony.

"So, what will you do?!" The doctor called out.

Arden sucked his teeth. As if he had a choice.

Tony woke up in an all-white room. Only one word ran through his mind. A Name. Arden. He slowly got up from the bed. He was back in his room. Once again, His heartbeat was erratic, as his panic grew more and more, but this time he knew exactly why.

It had been a week since Arden and him had tried to make their escape. The bullman had knocked both of them out cold with a single punch.

As a punishment Tony had been denied food for a week. Instead he was forced to exercise solely in his room with only water filling his stomach. His stomach growled.

The door to the room came open and in walked a familiar Doctor. "It's feeding time!" he said with a grin.

Tony didn't say anything he didn't have the strength to fight back anymore.

"Allow me to introduce your meal. Today you'll be eating a Cowmen. A top tier one, like yourself." The Doctor clapped his hands and two guards walked in carrying a cowman by the arms. He had a burlap sack wrapped around his head obscuring his face. The new long white shirt also prevented, Tony from seeing the skin.

"What kind of sick joke is this?"

"I assure you I am very serious."

"I'm not going to do it." Tony shook his head furiously. "Get your bullmen to do it."

"He could do it, but all Cowmen can. In that regard he isn't that special." The doctor gave a wicked look to Tony. "Or is it that you think Mr. Arden Park is under here, the doctor reached for the sack. He had to stand on his tippy toes due to his lack of height, "Well I'll love to inform you..." He pulled the sack off.

There stood Killian, with a dazed look and ruffled hair.

"...that it's not!" The doctor finished then laughed. "Was that surprising? You probably thought we'd punish for sneaking off by feeding you Mr. Park." The doctor shook his head, "I wish you believed me when I said you were brilliant, and Mr. Park was brave. Those are quality traits. We can't sacrifice those."

"You can't?" Tony said in disbelief.

"We're not some petty company looking for revenge. The fact that you were able to escape twice shows how valuable you are. "Mr. Park in a hopeless situation stuck beside you, Amazing. Killian and Sage on the other hand." The doctor threw Killian a look of disgust.

"Weaklings who have overstayed their welcome and are now reaching their end."

"I did everything you asked!" Killian shouted trying to break free of the guards.

The Doctor nodded, "Obedience can be nice, but it wasn't what we were looking for in your group."

"You can't do this! This is wrong," Killian shouted.

The doctor held up his hands as if absolving himself of all guilt. "I'm not doing anything. Tony's the one that's going to eat you."

"Why the hell would I do that? Or even help you."

The doctor's spoke in a serious manner, "Tony be reasonable. I know you're a smart one. Do you think I'm just going to allow you to not to eat him. How many Cowmen do you think have refused? The answer is simple, if you refuse to eat him. I'll just make you. Just ask Arden what happened to Sage when you see him tomorrow."

With a snap of the doctors' thick fingers, guards piled into the room.

"While you were so busy thinking of Kai as a monster. You forgot that you yourself were one too. But don't worry we can make monster useful here/" The doctor left the room as the guards descended down upon the two cowmen.

The next morning, standing high above, a tall man peered down from the window that viewed into Tony's room. The Cowman was asleep in bed but had a huge stomach that had been working tirelessly to digest its meal. The man smiled letting his long bony fingers dance against the glass.

The door to the observation room opened and in walked the fat doctor. He happily made his way over to the tall man. Together they peered down at the sleeping Tony.

"Tony has never consumed someone, so his first digestion will be rather slow." The doctor stated.

"I figured as much," the tall figure says. "Did this test help?"

The doctor clasped his thick palms, "We've solidified that even top-tier Cowmen can improve their quality. Tony, a top tier, consumed another top tier. He'll become even better. He's already begun adding muscle mass. Testing his blood, we've already seen a spike in his fertility, with this he should start producing results."

The tall man placed his hand on the glass, "Excellent, I'll tell the higher ups we can begin project Trojan."
