Yeah I know, I'm late as usual. Many things came up in the past month that required my attentions, and now that they are all nice and dealt with I can get back to this. Plus in the small vacation I managed to begin yet another story so expect to see that soon. Ok, same rules as always, don't read if under 18, don't read if its illegal in your particular area, and don't read if you think the contents (which you should know if you are even reading this) just might offend some part of you. Have fun.

Crazy Days, Wild Knights Chapter 4

I awoke to the odd sensation of having Xann's cloak still wrapped around me, but no Xann. It only took me a second to figure that he must have let me have it and slept in his robe. I don't think any bit of warning would have prepared me for the waking image I was greeted with. Through the morning blur in my vision I saw Xann washing himself in the pond. I was never so prepared to see the gates of Heaven in my life. You have to understand why this was such a big deal to me. In all the years I have served both males and females under a bed cover, none had ever held a remote amount of attractiveness to me. I was just doing a job, most times with my eyes closed. None had that natural mystery, that natural grace. And surely none were as physically impressive as this god that walked before me. Amazingly enough, he was actually smaller than I had thought. I had imagined, that beneath the folds of cloth there was a hulk of a man, tree sized at the least. But in truth, he was wiry.

The strength was evident in his arms and torso as he moved. Each muscle carving out its own bit of property on his body. But even with all that muscle he couldn't have weighed more than 190 pounds, if that. It was almost like a great artist chiseled him from stone. As if his own physique wasn't enough, the combination of water and the morning light made it seem like a dream come to flesh. The water fell from his skin, outlining his already wonderful form. And this was while he was hidden from the waist down and facing away from me. When he turned it was almost as if time stood still and the motion took an eternity to complete. And as I had thought, his front was even better than his back His chest and stomach were as if wrought from iron. And his nipples were a perfect shade of pink. Fate decided to bless me even more when he raised his arms over his head to stretch. It must have been then that I let out a small sigh, for he looked at me finally.

My mind was so occupied in gazing upon this beautiful creature that it totally overlooked the fact that I was currently suffering from a highly enhanced version of the common male morning affliction. It wasn't till I followed his eyes that I became fully aware of my aroused condition, which was being given away by the tenting of the cloak that still covered me. In an instant my cheeks were aflame. I saw the smile slowly find its way to his lips and my embarrassment only got worse. There was an uncomfortable silence before he spoke at last.

"Well are you going to sit there all morning staring at me or are you going to get in here?"

A flock of butterflies were let loose upon my insides when he spoke. But was I about to turn down an offer like that? Maybe next lifetime. I sat up and with a deep breath, removed the cloak and my shirt, stood, and walked into the cold water. It was my hope that the water would help to return things to their natural state, but the closer I got to him the worse it became, the redder my cheeks became. He never took his eyes off me, and when I finally reached him, the water was up to my chest. He still looked at me with those deep eyes of his and I felt like he could see right through everything I was.

"You are embarrassed?"

"Uh...yes.... I never had this problem before."

"What problem?" I couldn't believe he was going to make me say it.

"My...uh ....uh... um.... uh..." I couldn't say it.

"You can tell me." I looked into his eyes, and somewhere inside them I found the courage I needed.

"I have just... never been so...... attracted... to anyone before." He smiled. A warm smile, amazing as that was coming from someone who always seemed to be cold.

"Is that all? Nym, just remember a one thing, if you remember nothing else. Embarrassment is just another form of fear, fear of what others think. Someday you will have to overcome that. Never fear your own feelings, no matter what they are." He reached out and placed his hand on my face. "And don't worry about being embarrassed with me. I will never judge you." His words echoed in my ears as we sat there staring at each other, and they started to make sense.

"And as far as being attracted to me, all I can say is that I am happily taken, and I apologize. Not that a similar thought hasn't crossed my mind. You are quite a sight yourself when you want to be." He chuckled. "Watching you all last night, I was sure someone had already clamed you." His smile faded with mine.

"I have never known love. Only lust, for I have walked hand in hand with it as long as I can remember." Memories flooded my mind, including last night with Bishop Rose. "But now that I am free, it will only be a mater of time before lust finds me again, I am sure of it. It is all I am."

"Wrong. You can be more, if you allow it. There are still those out there that would use you for their own pleasures. But they would have to get through me and your soon to be comrades first, and that is just till you can defend yourself. But now that you are free, love has just as much chance of finding you. And it will pop up from the most unexpected place. It always does."

How did he become so wise, so young? That was one of the few times I would ever curse Killnar. Damn him for finding this wonderful person first. We washed in silence from that point on. As he washed my back, erotic thoughts bounded through my head. Thank the water for being so cool. We finished and dried in the sun for a while before finally he covered that wonderful body of his again with his robe. I pushed away my thoughts of how to get it off again and put my shirt on. Then it was back to the trees.

It was still several days of travel till we caught up with the other Knights. Xann could never get me to stop calling them that. It was the only name I had, so I kept it. He began my training while we traveled. He taught me how to see. Yes I know, it sounds quite silly. But it's amazing once you realize how much in this world you don't see. Very subtle things. Things you would have to concentrate on to see. At the end of two days he had me to a point where it was reflex. I could spot small animals, and sometimes, even insects at great distances. He did not seem too surprised at how quickly I learned these new skills. Four days after we left the small pond we finally reached the Knights encampment. It wasn't what I had expected at all.

Tents, apparently made to be easily relocated. They weren't even in a clearing. They were in the thick of the trees, forest colored to blend in. From where Xann held me in the trees you could hardly tell there was a camp at all The only open area had a small fire with about twelve men relaxing around it. Xann spoke to me softly.

"I will take you to my tent first, you need some pants. Then you can meet the others and get a tent of your own." My hopes of staying in his tent were quickly replaced with hopes of putting my tent as close to his as I could manage.

He scanned around our position briefly. I followed his gaze and also quickly spotted what he was looking around for. I saw a figure dressed like a Knight slowly moving through the trees off to our left, and another to our right. Xann shook his head and quickly snuck past them. He dropped to the ground right behind a tent and told me to wait. In only a few moments he came back with the aforementioned pants in hand. I thanked him quietly and put them on. He smiled when they fit well, put his arm around my shoulder and began walking me to the fire. As we walked people began to notice us and I heard muffled whispers of "Xann's back". By the time we reached the fire it seemed as if the whole camp was there waiting. I swallowed to quiet the butterflies in my belly and steeled myself. Xann and I stood before the camp, the fire warming me in the early evening. Xann waited for the whispers to quiet before he spoke.

"Yes. I have returned and I do bring news. Some good, some bad. First of all, patrols need to be better. I should not have been able to sneak in at all. I don't know who was on today, but make sure you do better in the future. As for the good news. Our scouting has proven to be fruitful and as proof I bring to you today our newest family member, Nym."

I didn't say anything. Instead I just kept staring into the fire.

"I trust you will all welcome him warmly. There are several more possible members that we still have to reach but they should be no problem. So now with that out of the way, I now have to give you the sad news. Killnar is not moving ahead to the next recruit. He has been captured by the Church." There were instant gasps of surprise followed by shouts of anger and cries for blood. The camp was in a near frenzy when Xann raised his arms. The silence was almost instant. "I know how you all feel and I did not expect any less from you. He is like a father to most of you and I appreciate that. But we are to continue as planned. I will take charge in his stead as always. But worry not. We will rescue him, when the time is right. For now you will continue your current operations till we can locate and free him. Is that understood?" There was a simultaneous nod from the group. "Good. Two days for everyone to rest and relax before we start up again. Do not lose hope my friends. If anything, this is when we will need that hope most. Dismissed."

I saw him for the first time when he was walking with Xann towards the fire. A chill ran through me. Surely nothing more beautiful walked this planet on two legs. His crystal like eyes wandered around him taking in his new surroundings. I followed them all the way to the meeting and sat close enough to him so I could stare the whole time. Innocence seemed to flow from him while he stared into the flames, except his eyes. In the light I could see the silver in his eyes, highlighted with shades of purple, clearly. They did not seem to be the eyes of a boy his age. That was to be expected, he was probably another slave just like most of us. Not me. I was one of the few to follow Killnar and not be a slave. I would guess he was only two or three winters younger than me, if that. I spent most of the meeting taking in his small form and getting drunk from his scent. So clear despite the surroundings. I began hoping his tent would be near mine.

I was snapped back to reality when I heard that Killnar had been captured. I don't think I have ever been more shocked or angry in my entire life. I felt tears begin to sting my eyes, a lump rise in my throat, and a fist form of my right hand. When gasps of shock turned to cries of rage, I joined in eagerly. Xann raised his hands and I found the willpower to force back my emotions and hear him out. He finished, yet I could still feel my rage burning the back of my mouth. I appeared to be the first to jump up, I didn't care, I ran off into the forest to be alone. Memories shot through my mind as I remembered how my path brought me to this place, how Killnar saved me. How much I missed Jacey....

It was only last spring. Jacey had served my family for several winters. He was the son of one of the servants, and was for the most part our stable boy. It wasn't till that spring that I really noticed him. I sat in the window of my room, high up in my family's manor, enjoying the fresh spring morning. I had an excellent view of the stables from where I sat but wasn't interested in them till I saw Jacey. He was hard at work moving hay and feeding the animals. Even from my height I could see the sweat covering his naked upper body, accenting the muscles as he worked. He was two winters older than me, which gave me a weird sense of satisfaction when I was giving him orders. I kept trying to watch the sunrise, but my eyes flowed back to him again and again. Something was just so magickal about him. At the time I couldn't understand why my body reacted the way it did. Things just came naturally and it wasn't long before I was sitting in my window with, my robe undone, pleasuring myself to the lovely view I had of the sky, the trees, and Jacey. My release must have been strong in volume for when I opened my eyes, Jacey had stopped working and was staring directly up at me.

I froze. I was caught. There I was, robe hanging open, one leg hanging out the window, my hand still wrapped about my manhood, covered in my own sweat and semen. I couldn't even move to cover myself. He cocked his head to one side and I could see the white of his teeth shape into a smile. And without comment, he went back to his duties. I rediscovered my ability to move and quickly got cleaned up. I totally avoided both the stables and Jacey for several days. I was in a constant state of panic. He wouldn't dare tell my parents, they would never take the word of a servant over mine. And the lie would only get him a lashing. But the other servants would know, they would snicker behind my back, and give me knowing looks. Gossip like this was sure to spread quickly. Yet to my surprise there was neither looks nor snickering. It was life as usual.... until... My father approached me one evening after dinner.

"Zane, my son, why haven't you been riding in the past four days?"

"Uh...because father...I just haven't felt up to it."

"You are not ill are you?"

"No, just haven't been in the mood for a ride is all."

"Son, riding is a very important skill for a noble to learn. You must be presentable in all things, especially in court, in battle, and on horseback. All must be practiced every day. You know this."

"Yes...father..."

"So tomorrow, you will ride for at least 4 hours to make up for lost time."

"But father.."

"Don't argue and do as you are told!"

"Yes father..."

He walked away and I sat there at the table, dreading the coming day. I did not want to face Jacey. Never had anyone had so much power over me besides my parents. Yet here I am, weak before the presence of a simple stable boy. I went to my room, and found myself unable to sleep. I sat in my window again for the first time since that dreadful morning, looking at the stables. Knowing that Jacey slept in the loft. Wishing the stables would burn down and him with it. Eventually I slept and woke early the next morning. I put off riding as long as I could till my father gave me 'the look'. I changed into my simple riding clothes and began the slow walk out to the stables.

Jacey was grooming my horse as I approached. He looked up and watched me all the way till I was standing but three feet from him. In my best attempt at a commanding voice I told him to get my saddle and prepare the horse for riding. It came out sounding like one of the Church's choirboys. He looked at me for a moment with a smile on his face before moving to do as I told him. I watched him walk away and felt the familiar stirrings from days before. He wasn't wearing a shirt yet again, just his usual tight tan pants, and I could clearly see his well-bronzed skin. All those days in the sun did him well. His brown hair came down to his broad shoulders. The muscles in his back danced as his arms followed the motions of his walk. I moved to the side of the horse away from him to hide my condition from his brown eyes.

He returned and expertly fitted my horse with the saddle and harness with great speed. While I was mounting the horse I couldn't take my eyes away from him. And thanks to my lack of attention to what I was doing, I quickly found myself on the floor of the stable. Jacey was by my side in an instant, helping me up, and visibly holding back laughter. I was beginning to get angry but kept myself in check and tried to get on my horse again, this time with Jacey's unsolicited help. And somehow during the process he managed to place a firm hand on my rear, and even gave what felt like a squeeze. I looked at him as soon as I was in position but he was already walking away, whistling to himself. Furious I started my horse out of the stable to practice my riding.

I couldn't believe this. Not only was I helpless before this servant, but he had the gaul to rub my face in the fact. This would not stand. When I got back to the stable, I was going to put my foot down about the whole thing and I dare him to argue with me. So 4 hours later, with newfound determination, I rode back into the seemingly empty stable. It was dusk when I returned and the sun was just starting its evening decent. I called for service and Jacey came running down from the loft. This time with a firm and non high pitched voice I told him to clean my horse then meet me up in the loft to discuss my horse's condition. And without a second word or thought, I turned and went up to the loft.

I waited for a short amount of time, looking out the window, before I heard his feet coming up the steps. I turned to face him. With all the strength I had I began.

"Now look here,"

He took a step towards me.

"I know you saw me in my window several days ago."

Another step.

"And I know you find it funny,"

And another.

"That you got to see me in such,"

The closer he got, the weaker my words became.

"A compromising situation. But,"

My voice got quieter, his footsteps louder.

"The joke ends here. You tell no one,"

I could hear my own heartbeat.

"About it, and save yourself a serious lashing."

I could feel his breath on my face.

"Am I understood?"

My voice was barely a whisper, I was backed against the wall, and our noses were touching. He had his arms on either side of my head.

"I will understand you, when you understand yourself."

"What are you talking about?"

"Zane, admit it. You find me pleasing."

"You are a good servant and..."

"Oh come off the whole servant-master thing, will you? What's happening now is on a much higher level."

"I don't know what you are talk..."

I was cut off when our lips touched. He didn't force a kiss from me. He didn't mash his face to mine. He merely touched my lips with his and held there. His lips were soft as my bed sheets, and just as warm. My eyes closed and I could feel the heat radiating from him. We held the kiss for several moments before he pulled away and looked me in the eye. I could almost see my own soul reflected in the soft brown pools.

"I will not force you to see, Zane. Just offer you a chance to open your eyes."

He stepped away from me and over to the window, looking out into the evening.. Reason quickly grabbed control and guided my feet with haste to the stairs. Yet as my foot touched the first stair, reason was jumped by instinct, and I stopped where I was. Jacey still had his back to me. I backed away from the stairs and walked slowly to him...

Ok, this time I PROMISE the next part will be up very soon, only a few days I swear. Unless divine intervention decides to happen again, but I sadly have no control over that. Feel free to send you thoughts and comments and constructive (hopefully) arguments to DivineGlow@aol.com. Thanks for reading.
