Cyclone

Chapter 14 - Home again.

It was a Friday afternoon when we pulled into port. The pier was lined with family and friends waiting anxiously to greet their returning loved ones. I also noticed Cal, John and Mike standing with a group of people I had never met before. Once Cyclone was secured we began to disembark. Travis and I headed to Cal?s little group.

Cal shook our hands. "Dale, Travis, Welcome home. Let me introduce Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Tara Sonenshine."

She was a very pretty woman in her mid-forties, immaculately dressed and well poised. She shook our hands. "Gentlemen, it is a pleasure to met you both."

Cal indicated the man standing beside her. "This is Deputy Director Steven Morel with the CIA's public relations department."

Director Morel was not what I expected from the CIA; he was tall and thin. He had a full head of gray hair but it was clean cut. He looked like he just walked out of the board room of a Fortune 500 company. "Gentlemen, welcome home. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Cal then introduced one other man. "This is Jay Alexander, White House Public Affairs liaison."

The first thing I noticed was how cute he was and the second was the wedding ring. I smiled as he warmly shook my hand. "Admiral Ryan, Captain King, it is a pleasure to meet you."

After the introduction, we began walking towards the cars and Ms. Sonenshine began the conversation. "Mr. Ryan and Mr. King, the United Kingdom's Ambassador to the United States has formally requested that you attend a state dinner at United Kingdom's Embassy in D.C. They have also requested our Government to allow them to bestow upon you both The Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. This medal is not often awarded to non-British citizens and the request was signed by the Queen. Of course the President has approved your receiving the medal. I hope neither of you will turn down the honor."

I looked at Travis and shrugged. "No, of course not."

"Good, the dinner in your honor will be next Friday night. Do you require transportation and a hotel in D.C.?"

"I think we can handle it ourselves."

"I would recommend The Willard. It?s a beautiful hotel, very romantic." She smiled at us.

Director Morel stepped up beside us. "Gentlemen, if it would not be too much trouble for you, the CIA would like to question you on exactly what happened. Any intelligence we could gather would be very helpful."

I looked at Cal. He smiled. "Of course we will have an INS attorney with them."

"That is not a problem. It really is just an attempt to figure exactly who is behind attack. A British Foreign Intelligence officer will be present as well. We are working hand in hand with them on this."

I nodded. "I don't see why not. Could we do it in the morning on Friday when we arrive in D.C."

"That would be perfect. Thank you for your cooperation."

"There is one last thing." Jay Alexander interrupted and we all turned to look at him. "The President of the United States has requested that you dine with him and the First Lady Saturday evening."

Travis and I just stopped dead in our tracks. I was speechless. Travis smiled. "Dale and I would be honored to dine with the President and The First Lady."

"I will have a White House Protocol Officer come down next Wednesday and go over all the details including the Protocols for the Dinner at the embassy."

"Thank you." I finally regained my ability to speak.

As we said our goodbyes, Cal informed me that Carl and Rick had a homecoming party planned for Saturday night and they would see us then.

We arrived at the vehicles to find Shane and Rick embracing each other while Carl, Max, Cat and David all stood off to the side.

Travis Laughed. "Let's get these two home before the start doing it right here."

Everyone laughed and we climbed into the car. By the time we got back to the house we were exhausted and the stress of the trip caught up to us. Travis and I went to our room to take a nap. Cat and David went to Cat's apartment.

We walked into our bedroom and flopped on the bed. Travis turned to me.

"Is it good to be home?"

"It's great to be home. Speaking of which, when are you just going to move in?"

He smiled that million dollar smile again. "Did you just ask me to move in with you?"

I laughed. "Yup."

He kissed me. "I can see about renting out the townhouse. I really don't want to sell it in this economy."

I kissed him softly at first and then started to work my way down to his neck. I began unbuttoning his shirt, kissing each inch of his chest as I exposed it. I finally had his shirt unbuttoned and began undoing his belt. I slide his pants down and off and then grabbed his underwear and pulled them off. He pushed me back and stood and undressed me. We started kissing again and fell back onto the bed with him on top of me. I could feel his hard cock against my skin and it felt like it was on fire. He slowly entered me. I could feel every inch inside of me and wanted more. We had slow passionate sex until the point of no return and then he began to thrust into me with abandon. A few seconds later I felt his orgasm inside me. I came immediately. We took a quick shower and crawled into bed with absolutely no energy and fell asleep in each other's arms.

I awoke a few hours later and heard laughter coming from the pool area. I got up and looked out the window. Shane and Rick were in the pool horse-playing with Greg and Carl.

"Sounds like our family is all back together." I turned around to Travis sitting up in bed.

"God, you are so beautiful"

He blushed. "You are not so bad yourself, hot stuff."

We got dressed and headed out to the pool. Carl and Rick both jumped out of the pool.

"I will grab you guys some coffee." Carl was definitely happy we were home.

Rick just smiled at us. "I have burgers ready for the grill, if you're hungry."

Travis smiled. "I could really get used to this. I am starving, Rick, and coffee would be prefect right now Carl."

I noticed Max standing off to the side, still in a suit. "Still on duty, Max?"

"For another hour." He looked at Greg and smiled. Greg smiled back. "Dale, I was wondering if I could talk to you privately."

"Of course, let?s go to my office." I looked at Shane and Greg still horsing around in the pool. "Shane, introduce Greg to Travis."

"Aye, Sir, right away, Sir."

"Smart ass, okay, Max, let?s go."

Max and I went into the office and sat down just as Carl brought me a cup of coffee. "Thank you, Carl."

"You?re welcome and welcome home, Dale."

I smiled as he left the office. "What's on your mind, Max?"

"I think I need to resign as the head of your security detail."

I spit my coffee back into my cup. 'What the fuck, Max. Why? Where is this coming from?"

"Dale, I know Greg is your friend and I know it is completely unprofessional of me to have developed a personal relationship with him, but I can't help that I have fallen in love with him."

"That's what this is all about! Shit, Max, you had me freaked out. I will not accept your resignation. I think it's awesome that you and Greg found each other. I am happy for both of you. I don't see it as unprofessional. Hell, look at the dynamics here, Max. I am in a relationship with My Flag Captain and Cyclone?s Ops officer is in a relationship with my.....what the hell is Rick, anyway."

Max chuckled. "He is your butler."

"I hate that term. But anyway, I appreciate your sense of professionalism, but I don't see the issue. Let pretend this conversation never happened."

Max smiled. "Dale, you truly are an amazing man and I couldn't be prouder to work for you."

"Have you met Greg's mom and sisters yet?"

"Yes, Greg and I take the girls out to do stuff a lot. They are so adorable and his mom is great. Her whole life is about her kids. They have a cute apartment across town. They are looking for a bigger place with a yard. They are going to look at places next weekend."

"Really? I wonder if Travis's place would be big enough. I know he has a decent size yard. I asked Travis to move in, and we are looking for someone to rent his place. I will talk to him and then he can talk to them."

"That would be fantastic. I should get back to work. Thank you, Dale"

"You?re staying for dinner, right?"

"I would love to."

We went back out to and rejoined the group. The evening was filled with laughter and playing. Nick joined us right after dinner. I noticed that he and Carl were becoming very comfortable together. I called Cat and David, but they decided to spend the evening together. We were all sitting around drinking wine when I brought up the party tomorrow night.

"So I hear you guys are planning a little party tomorrow night?"

Carl chuckled. "Nothing crazy like the last party, just a couple of people. Rick is grilling some steaks and lobster tails."

I just shook my head. "How many people?"

"About 26 total."

"Jesus. Okay, what do you need me to do?"

"Really Dale, like we would let you do anything." Rick laughed.

"Except sign the check?"

Carl laughed. "Nope, I can handle that for you, as well."

"I need more wine."

Everyone laughed and we discussed the party a little. I decided that if Rick and Carl were handling it everything would be fine. The evening quieted down and slowly everyone drifted off. Travis and I were left sitting there chatting.

He looked at me and smiled. "I can't even begin to explain how much I love you."

I am sure I blushed. "You know I love you too, right."

"Yeah, I do. By the way, Greg is a good kid. I like him."

"He fits in perfectly, doesn?t he? He and Max make a cute couple."

"Are they getting serious?"

"I think they are both just going with the flow."

"They we will fine. After all, they met through the INS dating service." he chuckled.

"I know, right. It's insane how many couples have gotten together since we met."

"It's all because of positive energy. Now let's get some sleep."

Saturday morning arrived with the old routine, Carl waking us with coffee. The rest of the day was pretty lazy until Rick and Carl disappeared to start getting ready for our guests. The party that evening was more of a backyard Bar-B-Que than a cocktail party. Travis and I just sat off to the side and gave our advice when it was needed. The actual event was nice with all the people from the office and a couple people from the ship. Greg and his mom, Donna, brought the girls, Monica and Michelle. I couldn't tell them apart to save my life so I just took to calling them each Princess. Travis laughed every time because he knew why. Everyone loved the girls and they stole the show. Towards the evening I noticed Travis and Donna chatting away from everyone else and walked over to them.

"Am I interrupting?"

Travis just smiled at me. "Not at all, Babe. Actually this involves you. Donna and I have just made an agreement for her to rent my town house. It?s about the same distance to the office and in the same school district. It?s bigger and has a back yard. She can start moving in at the beginning of October if I can be out that soon."

I laughed. "That's five weeks away. If I had it my way you would be out of there tomorrow."

Donna laughed. "I need the time to pack and get everything moved. It?s going to be tough with work and the Greg starting school again in 2 weeks."

"Donna, just let me know when, I am sure everyone here will be happy to help you move."

"Thanks, Dale, I will take you up on that."

"Babe will go over to my place with me in the morning so Donna can see it. Then I have a little surprise for you" Travis had a devilish look in his eyes.

"I am terrified right now, but sure. Let me get back to the guests and you guys work out the details." The party drew to a close and everyone drifted off to bed. Sunday morning I awoke to Travis' mouth on my hard dick. My eyes fluttered open and looked down just as he looked up. He smiled, as much as someone can smile with a mouth full of hard cock. I laid back and relaxed as he began giving me one of his most astonishing blow jobs. In just a few minutes I came. Travis crawled up my chest and kissed me with a mouth full of my own cum. This was becoming a thing for us. We always shared the load from a blow job. I loved the taste of myself in his mouth.

We showered quickly and got ready. Max was waiting for us when we got down stairs. "Morning, Dale, Morning Travis. I brought the BMW around to the front."

I stopped. "Max, we can drive ourselves, its fine."

He smiled. "That's fine, Dale, but then I will just have to follow you."

I looked over at Travis. "Babe, will it mess up your surprise if Max drives."

He laughed. "I already arranged it with Max so just get in the car and enjoy the luxury."

I chuckled and looked at Shane and Rick in the kitchen. "Did you guys just see the Captain giving me orders?"

They both started laughing. "Sorry, Sir, we did not see anything of the kind."

I stomped my feet. "This is mutiny!"

Everyone had a good laugh. After breakfast we headed out to the car and Max took us over to Travis' place. Greg and Donna where waiting for us when we arrived, the two girls were also there and ran to Travis and I and gave us both a big hug. Max and I entertained the girls while Travis showed Greg and Donna the townhouse. Donna loved the place and I could tell Greg was very excited as well for the girls to have more room. After everything was settled Travis and I got back into the car and headed west. The drive took us just shy of an hour and we pulled into the parking lot of a small restaurant. We got out and I gave Travis a look. He just smiled.

"Don't worry, Babe. It will be fine." He chuckled

I looked at Max. "And that is supposed to make me feel better? Max, if I scream at the top of my lungs, come in guns blazing."

"Yes, Sir." Max laughed.

Travis gave me the death stare and we walked inside. Travis looked around and walked over to an older gentleman sitting at a booth by himself.

"Dad, this is Dale Ryan. Dale, this is Admiral George King, my dad."

I just stood there while my jaw hit the floor. I was completely speechless.

Admiral King reached his hand out to shake mine. "Dale, call me George, and from the look of shock my darling son thought it would be cool to surprise you with this."

"Yes, Sir, he did." I returned his hand shake.

He hugged Travis and motioned for us to sit. "Sit down boys before that bodyguard of yours starts to get nervous."

Travis smiled at me. "I am sorry if I upset you."

"You didn't upset me, Travis, just shocked me. Admiral King, it is a huge honor to meet you and I am sorry about my reaction."

He chuckled. "No need to apologize son, it's completely understandable. The two of you are something of rock stars around the Navy community. I haven't had this many golf game requests since my retirement."

A server came up to the table. "Afternoon guys, what can I get you to drink?"

George smiled. "Scotch and water please, Cheryl. Do you remember my youngest son, Travis?"

"Oh my Gosh, of course I do. I haven't seen you since you went off to the Academy."

Travis Smiled. "It's good to see you again, Cheryl. Can I get a rum and coke please?"

George winked at me. "Cheryl, this is Travis' boyfriend, Dale."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Dale. I am going to have to get a picture of you two to put on the wall so I can tell everyone I served the guys that rescued the HMS Clyde."

I laughed. "It's nice to meet you too, Cheryl. I would be honor to have my picture taken. How is your bartender?s Bloody Mary."

?You just wait, we are known for our Bloody Marys."

"Perfect, I will take one."

"You got it, boys, give me just a few minutes on the drinks."

After she left, George turned to us. "She is a riot. She is actually the owner but still tends the tables every Sunday afternoon."

Travis nodded in agreement. "So Dad, how's everyone doing?"

George just shook his head. "Travis, if you want to know how your brothers are, just call them. For Christ?s sake, they ask about you every time I talk to them and you ask about them."

"I know Dad; it's just still awkward for me."

"Get over it, Captain. By the way, your brother Kevin was in command of the fighter escort for the Hawkeye that gave you the Arial reconnaissance on the Clyde mission."

"Seriously! Holy shit, I didn't know."

"Neither did he until afterwards. He told his CO, The Admiral and Captain in command of the INS Ship where probably the smoothest operators he has ever seen. When his CO told him who it was he laughed and said ?Of course it was. Out-fucking-standing."

Travis had a huge smile on his face. "No, he didn't."

George chuckled. "I have known Captain Wright for most of his life he would never lie."

Travis was beaming. "Maybe I should call them."

"Damn right you should, they think you hate them. Travis, they acted like asses when you got outed. No one debates that and, more importantly, no one regrets it more than they do. They are your brothers and they love you and miss you."

I could see tears forming in Travis' eyes just as Cheryl returned with the drinks and the bartender. "Boys, here are your drinks and this is Jimmy, my bartender. He wanted to meet you guys. I hope that's okay?

I laughed "No problem at all, Cheryl. Jimmy, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hear you make a killer Bloody Mary."

"The pleasure is all mine, Sir. The Bloody Mary is pretty good and the customers all seem to like it."

After the round of introductions, Jimmy returned to the bar and Cheryl got ready to take our orders. "Before you order I think you should know the young man at the bar in the dark suit seems to be watching you." She kind of nodded her head towards the bar and I looked over and saw Max sitting there.

I laughed. "Cheryl, thank you for being concerned but that's Max, our driver. Could you make sure he orders lunch and put it on my tab, please?"

"Oh ok, well I feel much better now."

After we placed out orders the conversation turned to the Clyde incident. George asked a lot of questions and really grilled us. After he was satisfied, Travis got him talking about his time in the Navy. By the end of the afternoon all three of us where pretty buzzed and laughing like idiots. We said our goodbyes and I got George to promise to come visit us in Virginia Beach. While Travis was in the men's room I convinced him to bring his other three sons down as well. He knew all three would be home in October for a couple of weeks. Travis returned and we headed out after George gave us both a big hug. The drive back was quiet as Travis and I rested our heads against each other and basked in our presence.

We got back to the house just in time for one of Rick's amazing meals. After dinner we all went for a swim and then drifted off to bed. Travis and I fell asleep pretty quickly. I awoke to Carl knocking on the door.

"Come in Carl, as long as you have coffee with you."

"Does a bear shit in the woods? Anyway, Dale, the FBI wants to meet with you this morning in your office. Karen called me and asked me to set it up. You guys have your mission debrief after lunch. Other than that, it should be a pretty quiet day for you. Rick wants to know who will be here for dinner tonight. After your debriefing, you are supposed to meet with the architect. He has some preliminary plans for you to review. "

"Thanks Carl. Ask Karen to meet with me and the architect. I want her input on some things. Tell Rick to ask everyone if they are going to be here. Any idea what the FBI wants?"

"No, Karen said it didn't sound like a big deal though."

"Okay, we will be down as soon as we are dressed."

Travis and I got ready for a day in the office. It almost felt weird to put a suit on instead of the uniform. Michael was prompt as usual with the car and we arrived at the office before 8:30 am.

Clara got up and hugged us. "Welcome home, boys."
