Prologue
He awoke to the soft and gentle billowing of the curtains in his room. Glancing at the clock on his nightstand, he lay motionless, deep in thought. His dream had been so realistic; it had felt so right. What was he going to do? He knew he had to tell them. Yet, he didn't even know how to tell himself.
`Why do I have these dreams? These feelings? ` He thought. `Am I not normal? Am I not right? Yet, what is normal? Is there a "normal" or "average" type of person?'
His intense thinking sent him into overdrive; overpowering his mind with worry and caution. He wanted to tell the world how he felt for his love, but couldn't even admit it to himself. So, he went back to doing what he knew how to do most. Sleeping and being in total depression. Through all of his pain and suffering, sleeping was his only ticket out of reality. He could sleep anytime, anyplace. His thoughts would hover through his mind, sending him into dreams of a world he could not grasp or understand. It was his only way out. His only comfort.
Love was a feeling he experienced intensely, but could not ever endure. He loved with his whole being, his entire soul. He loved so full and true that it could only be everlasting. The only problem was, the fulfillment of his love seemed an everlasting wish.
Every night for the past eight years he had wished. Wished on the shooting stars in the clear night sky. He wished for a love that he could call his own; a love that would fulfill his every desire, his every need. He needed his love to be reciprocated, but only one person could reciprocate his love. His Justin.
