Well hello kiddies, I know it's been a while since a new chapter to Dork has been released. To tell you the truth, I really had this series dead for me but with recent emails I've been working hard to revive it or possible end it soon. I'm not quite sure, we will see. But for now, enjoy this little snippet.

Dork Chapter Eight: Mirrorless

"Fang, what's going on?" Blaine asked concerned.

"It's best if you all leave."

"Why?"

"It's not safe for all of you. I want you to take everyone and Ryan back to your place for tonight."

"Just tell me what's going on, Fang!"

"I can't, I'm sorry. Just go."

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's going on."

"If you don't go, you'll die."

"Are you threatening me?"

"I'm trying to protect you! This place—a couple years back, a wise old man lived here. Then one day there was a gunshot and the authorities rushed in. The house was empty, no trace of the man just a puddle of blood on the carpet. This place is supposedly haunted and from what I'm guessing Adam either saw the ghost of the man or he saw the man."

"Are you serious? I've lived here my entire life and I've never heard about this."

"The government made sure that civilians never new about this because that old man new a lot of governmental secrets. They don't believe he's dead, they believe he's still in the house and that's why I'm here. This place was only supposed to be temporary."

"Wait, why did the government hire a photographer to take out the man?"

"You're so dense. I'm not a photographer, I'm an underground governmental agent. Ryan being here was all a coincidence. This was the only place I could have him in, but because of my poor judgement I've put all of you in danger. X is going to kill me."

"X?"

"Don't worry about him. I've already spilled too much," Fang answered. He walked to the door and opened it. The four were idly waiting by, Adam still in shock. "Blaine is going to take you all home, I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

"Wait Fang! What's going on?" Ryan asked.

"Don't ask any questions," Blaine scowled pushing everyone out of the way. "Let's go."

"Blaine--." Declan abruptly interrupted.

"I said let's go!"

"But we can't, there's a heavy blizzard on the way. We can't leave or we may get lost in the snow."

Fang quickly punched his bedroom wall.

"Fuck!"

"Fang, just tell us what's going on," Ryan said.

"We're all going to die in this house, aren't we?" Blaine asked.

"Die?" The group asked in unison.

Fang quickly shut the door and locked it. Blaine ran to the door and tried to open it by ramming his body against it.

"Fang, open up this door right now!"

"I'm sorry, Blaine. I have to do this."

"Let me help you!"

"Help them, they'll need it more."

"FANG!" Blaine yelled.

Fang walked up the mirror and punched it, shattering the mirror in jagged chunky pieces and revealing a sturdy-looking ledge leading down to the deep pitch black pit hole. Fang climbed onto the ledge and looked down. He reached into his pocket pulling out his phone. He tossed it in and waited for it to echo back. He waited a couple more seconds and it finally echoed back but he also heard a raspy scream.

"Fuck, this is going to suck." Fang said standing up and hopping down into the darkness.

After repeatedly slamming his body against the wooden door, Blaine flew through the bedroom landing on his side.

"You alright Blaine?" Declan asked.

"I'm fine—Fang?!" Blaine yelled quickly getting up.

"He's not here?" Riley said.

Blaine looked around the room and noticed that the bathroom mirror had been shattered. He walked over and climbed onto the bathroom counter. Looking in, all he saw was a ledge and darkness.

"So?" Riley asked.

"I'm going in."

"Are you crazy?!" Declan asked. "You could die!"

"I don't care, Fang went in there and I have to help him."

"He can handle himself, he took you out in one hit and look at him he looks like a little kid!"

"He got lucky, okay! I'm going in, Dex!"

And without warning, he jumped into the mirror.

"Blaine!" Declan yelled jumping into the mirror as well.

"This is not going to end well, I just know it," Ryan said hopping into the mirror.

"Adam?" Riley asked.

"As long as you're with me, I'll be fine."

Riley and Adam jumped in as well. Upon reaching the bottom, the group found Blaine lying on the standing still in the middle of the room with his back to their faces.

"Blaine, thanks for waiting for us," Declan said.

"Wait for you?" Blaine laughed manically.

"Are you okay?" Declan asked touching Blaine's shoulder.

"Do I look okay?!" Blaine asked turning around slashing Declan's throat with a piece of the mirror.

Declan dropped onto the floor and coughing up blood. The trio rushed over Declan, Ryan panicking while Riley tried to figure out a way to save him.

"I'm sorry brother, did I hurt you?" Blaine asked cocking his head with his bloodshot eyes.

"I can't hand-handle t-this," Adam said turning around and running only to bump into Fang.

"Are you lost little one?" Fang grinned.

"Ri-Ri-Ri--."

Fang pulled out a mirror fragment and stabbed him in the chest and kicked him to the ground. Riley looked over and saw Adam lying on the bare ground.

"Adam!" Riley yelled.

Riley got up and was quickly decapitated. The old man pushed Riley aside and knelt down to look at Ryan who was cowering on the floor.

"Time to wake boy," the old man said.
