Chapter 11: Eight months later

"...well no I don't think he'd be able to make that with his current time frame," my assistant chattered into her cell phone, "well, yes, I'm sorry too...thank you..."

"Who was that?" I asked as the limo pulled around a corner and slowed to a stop at the curb.

"Just some MTV bigwigs wanting you to go on TRL tomorrow," my assistant, Heather, said as we got out of limo and walked toward my hotel.

"I just did TRL last week, didn't I?" I asked as we entered the front doors.

"Yes, that's why I said that you had a full schedule," she chattered on as we entered the elevator, "I don't think that it'd be that good an idea as far as publicity goes. It says that you don't have anything else to do but go on talk shows."

"And that's farthest from the truth." I groaned as I walked out of the elevator, "what do I have planned for tomorrow."

"Well," she started, "we only have one talk show. You're going on `Rosie', live at ten to promote the movie and give the CD another push."

"The CD's been out for seven and a half months," I said bluntly, "and the label's agreed to not release any more singles or do any more publicity for it. So I guess I'm just there to talk about the movie."

"Yes," she said, "and then you have to meet with your manager and go back to Columbia Records to renegotiate your contract. I think that its good that the label sign you for one record, now that you're a multi-platinum artist you can get a new contract that will get you a lot more money."

"Uh...yeah...then what?"

"The contract negotiations are thought to last until about two, then you have a two hour free time period you told me not to schedule anything for, but didn't tell me why," she said, "and then you have a interview with People Magazine at four and then the rest of the day off."

"Thanks, Heather..." I said.

After about an hour Heather left and I realized that I had the free period in my schedule because Brian was flying into New York with the guys since they were one a two and a half week break from touring.

Chapter 12: The next day

The next day around 2:30 I found my self in JFK Airport waiting for the person I loved, who I hadn't seen in six months, since his last break in touring. I'm certain that he'll be glad to see me, and I'd be glad to see him. So far I've achieved fortune and fame, but I haven't been able to share it with anyone. The movie paid me $100,000 to do it, which is really bad for an actor, but good for a beginner. And my debut CD had gone 8 times platinum in the U.S., and a total of 17 times platinum worldwide. I had money, and lots of it, which is what I always wanted...but now I just wanted Brian. And I don't know why I'm so unhappy.

Brian's flight came in on time, which was shocking, and we hugged since we couldn't do anything more in public. I helped carry Brian's bags to the limo that I had waiting outside.

"Where are the other guys?" I asked as I handed the bags to the driver, who put them in the trunk.

"Kevin went on a vacation with his wife, Howie went to visit his parents, AJ went back to Orlando, and Nick decided to take his little brother, Aaron, to California for a couple of days," Brian answered as he handed the rest of his luggage to the driver.

"Oh, that's nice," I said as we got in the car, once inside we embraced and kissed, but it didn't have the passion that was always in Brian.

"I'm so tired..." he muttered as he put his head on my shoulder.

Maybe that was the cause, maybe he was exhausted, but I couldn't shake the feeling it was something else. Once we got his bags into my room at the Hilton, Brian laid down on the bed.

"What's wrong, babe?" I asked.

"I'm just so tired lately..." he trailed off.

"Oh..." I mumbled.

"Too tired to..." I trailed off.

"Yes," he said bluntly before taking off his clothes, except for his boxers, and climbing into bed.

"Ok..." I said worriedly.

Now for you to do your part: vote!

E-mail me at reallybigdreamer@yahoo.com and tell me what you think you is wrong with Brian and I'll consider some ideas and write one in. This time I'm not giving you any choices...just think of some on your own and write me...This time I'm only accepting votes in the first TWO weeks after the story is posted. Also tell me if I SHOULD or SHOULD NOT keep doing this voting thing and tell me why or why not, thanx!!

Also...sorry for the shortness and no sexness of the story...I wrote it really shabbily (is that a word?) and threw it together really quickly...sorry
