Hi all!! Here's the next part of Dreams of an Angel. Hope you all enjoy it! Any comments or suggestions, well, you know how to contact me. My Yahoo ID is Goldenknightuk if you wish to send me an instant message. Sorry for any bad grammars boys and girl. C'mon! Nobody's perfect!! :)

NOTE TO ALL READERS: In order to balance my study time and writings, I decided to set a specific time for every update. For now on, I'll be updating Dreams of an Angel every Tuesday & Friday evening (Well, Irish time. I dunno about the time differences between my place and yours, guys and gals. You have to figure that out yourself :P Trust me, I sucked in figuring it out :)). But hey, if time permits me, I promise I'll update it at other times :)

Before the show, onwards to the boring part! Legal matters! Hehehe. You can press 'fast-forward' now.

Well, first of all, this story, as you will certainly find out soon, is TOTALLY fictional. So! If any of you truly believe in it... dude, I'm worried about you. Secondly! None of the guys in the Backstreet Boys are gay! (No matter how hard I wished it :P). But nobody say we couldn't dream it, heh heh. Thirdly, Warren Worthington is actually a character from Marvel Comics, X-men known as Angel or recently Archangel. Okay fine, I admit it. I'm bored and I am making a pathetic attempt to make life a lil' bit interesting. Its not like I'm gonna publish it or something. What else to talk about hmm? Oh, there may be some adult gay scenes in this story. Unlike my brother, I don't mind writing naughty stuff ;) so! If you're underage, naughty, naughty! I can only ask you to go away, but I cannot do anything else to stop you from reading on anyway. Hell! I've been sneaking into the internet to watch gay porns since I was 13! So, if your parents or whoever responsible for you catch you, don't say I didn't warned you. However, if you're homophobic... well maybe I can seduce you enough to turn you around heh heh. I do so love a challenge ;)

Anyway, enough talk. Any comments or boos or suggestion or whatever, just sent it to the same address as in NNTs, goldenknightuk@yahoo.co.uk . Yeah, we shared the same address. Don't ask. Long story.

Okay then! On to the show. Now, don't be shy now. If you got any comments or suggestions, just drop me a note. You do the request, and I'll do the show.

Andy

"OH MY GAWD!! Look at all those guys!! Please oh please, let some of them be straight or bi!!" Rogue cried out.

"Well, they all seem to be looking at you, Rogue." Said Nick.

"Really?? Oh my God! Is muh make-up okay? How's muh hair? Oh God, ah'm tremblin'!" Rogue was actually blushing so hard Nick could barely control his laughter.

"Sorry to burst yer bubble, honey, but I don't think they are lookin' at ya." Logan grinned.

"Huh?" Rogue turned to look at them before following the direction of their gaze... only to end up frowning at Remy.

"Remy has lots of admirers, chere! It's not 'is fault dat he's irresistible!!" Remy spoke cheerfully. He responded to the awestruck gazes by giving out his most charming, roguish smile. He took off his sunglasses slowly, revealing his red-on-black eyes that drew even more awestruck gazes on him. "No need to disappoint de admirers, non? Remy is never selfish 'bout 'is looks."

"Oh!" Rogue cried out, startled, when she was quickly brushed aside by several good-looking guys.

"Hi, I'm Karl. Are you new here? I've never seen you around here before." One of the guys smiled ravishingly as he shook Remy's hand.

"Hi, I'm Luke. It's nice to see new faces around. Are you a mutant? I've never met a mutant before! I love your eyes! Want me to buy you a drink?"

"Hi, I'm Ryan, and this is my brother Eric. We think you're hot. You wanna dance?"

"Salut, mon amis. De name's Remy, mais friends like to call 'im Gambit." Remy slurred sexily as he allowed himself to be pulled into the tide. "No need to grope, cher. Dere's plenty of Gambit t'go 'round f'r de night."

"Oh my God, even his accent is sexy!" Eric whispered to his brother, Ryan, causing Nick to laugh.

Remy only grinned at Rogue gaping face as he was quickly ushered deeper into the club.

"Relax, Rogue. Granted that the Cajun just bruised your ego a little bit, you know he'll never betray you. Anyway, Remy's straight, despite the fact that he loves flirting with everything with two feet." Warren laughed.

"Are yuh kiddin' me?? With all those hot guys surrounding him... Ah'd turn gay muhself if ah'm in his shoe!!" Rogue hollered back.

"What shoe? What are y'all talkin' about? What's goin' on?" asked Jubilee as she finally steps in beside them.

"What took you so long?" asked Bobby in an annoyed tone.

"Chill out, Bobby. Sneaking into a dance-club is not as easy as it sounds." Said Jubilee.

"C'mon, Jube. Let's do some male-shoppin'." Said Rogue, pulling the other girl with her. "Find us a table, Wings! Now, Jube, here's our situation. We're in a gay club so that means we'll be battlin' against the forces of nature itself if we wanna get any guys here. So here's muh tip. Try to look as 'available' as yuh can be."

"Like this?" said Jubilee as she perform her own version of 'available'.

Rogue only stared at her flatly.

"Ah said 'available'. Not 'retarded'. C'mon." Nick heard her voice again before disappearing into the mass of people.

"Are they having some sort of open relationship or something?" Nick asked Warren softly.

"Who?" Warren looked at him questioningly.

"Remy and Rogue." Nick answered as he watched one of the guys feeling Remy's leg in the distance while the Cajun only winked sexily at him in return. "Rogue is letting him get away with that?"

"Nick, despite their loving relationship, they still cannot touch each other." Warren smiled. "They cannot kiss, they cannot have sex, they cannot even sleep together fearing that Rogue would find the Cajun dead when waking up in the morning. Letting him have a free reign is the least Rogue could do for him in exchange for his love."

"Beat it, bub! I don't swing that way." Logan snarled at one guy beside him, his hand raised and already gripped into a fist.

"Whooaa there, Logan." Bobby said in alarm as he and Nick quickly held Logan's hand back. He turned and smiled apologetically to the man. "Excuse him, dude. He's just going through some sort of a male-version PMS. You know what I mean."

The guy smiled in understanding.

"I know the feeling. I'm Nate. Look me up when you're feeling better, tiger." He winked at Logan as he move away, completely oblivious to how close he has come to a gruesome death.

Nick burst out in laughter even as Warren shook his head in an amused smile.

"Logan, please oh please, try holding on to your temper tonight, will ya? We're trying to have fun tonight, remember?" Said Bobby.

"Try to blend in, Logan. This is not one of those rough fighting pubs you always spent your time in the past." Said Warren. "Remain low-profile as much as you can."

Logan only snorted and went off quietly to one side.

"You guys take that table over there okay?" said Bobby as he pointed at an empty table at one of the dark corners of the club. "I go to the bar and send some drinks to you."

"You okay, Bobby?" Nick asked as he looks at Bobby strangely.

Amidst the countless emotions floating around the room, clawing desperately against his mental barrier, Bobby's mind radiates some degree of sadness and a feeling of resignation. As a matter of fact, it has been like this for two days now, ever since they came back from their mission. He has been staying in his room most of the time and avoided everyone. If it weren't for Nick and Warren's persistent pressuring, he wouldn't have gone out with them that evening. Quick questions about it to Warren or Jean were only answered by a sad look and a 'It's a long story, Nick. I'll tell you about it later'.

"I'm fine, Nick." Bobby sighed tiredly. "Just go with Wings."

"No, you're not fine, Bobby." Warren steps up quickly, looking at him intently. "What's wrong?"

"I'm... I'm just feeling a bit down okay." Said Bobby, avoiding Warren's eyes purposely. "Nothing serious. Just give me some time alone and I'll be fine. I'll order some drinks for you and have it send to your table. I'll join you in a while, promise."

Warren turned to Nick.

"Baby, can you give me a moment with Bobby?" He asked seriously.

Nick looked at him for a moment before nodding and moves off to the table. He watched as Warren and Bobby talked quietly for several minutes. Bobby shook his head vigorously and they talked some more. Then Warren hugged him tightly, murmuring something before they parted.

"Mind if I ask what's going on?" asked Nick when Warren sat beside him. "And don't give me the 'It's a long story, I'll tell you later' answer. It's already 'later'."

Warren smiled sadly before nodding quietly.

"Well, something happened while we were on our mission in Muire Island..." Warren began slowly and Nick listened carefully as Warren relates everything. His eyes grew sad as the story went on...

"Fucking homophobic bitch. Well who needs her anyway?"

Bobby glanced to the muttering guy sitting next to him in amused silence before returning his gaze to the bar, his eyes searching hopefully for his favorite bartender. The guy beside him muttered again and he smiled slightly. Well, at least he is not the only one who is having a miserable day.

"Can I get you anything, handsome?" asked one of the bartenders. Bobby looked at him quietly for a moment. Blue eyes, brown hair, strong jaw... cute. For some reason, he always fell for guys with brown hair and strong jaw. Maybe it reminds him too much of... no, no, he's not even going there.

"Vodka for me and two Guinness for my pals at that table over there." Bobby replied in return.

"It's only half-ten and you're going for the heavy stuff already?" The bartender laughed. "Must be one pretty messed up day."

"You have no idea." Bobby sighed tiredly, his eyes searching again for his favorite bartender. "Is Matt around?"

"Matt? Naah. He decided to move back to San Francisco to be near his folks. Been gone for nearly a week now. You're a close friend of his?"

"We fooled around a li'l bit." Bobby murmured in reply. That little bit of news makes his depression grew. Why can't things go his way for once? He was hoping to meet him tonight and maybe have a little bit of action to make him forget all of his problems for the night. Obviously that is too much to ask nowadays. "Well, you cannot always get what you want. You just have to live with it."

Oddly enough, that last statement applies to his problem in more ways that one.

The bartender moved off to serve another customer and Bobby just settles quietly with his drink. He eyes began to roam the club searchingly. Who's gonna be the lucky guy for him tonight? A slender waitress came up to take the drinks to Warren and Nick. Bobby glances at the table where they are sitting and saw them kissing. The corner where they sat is dark enough for anyone to recognize the famous Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys kissing the multi-billionaire playboy Warren Worthington the Third. Sighing resignedly, he took another sip of his drink. Suddenly he is overcome by the desire to get really, really drunk tonight.

Looking up at the dance floor, he saw Rogue and Jubilee dancing happily with two gorgeous hunks - and when he said 'gorgeous', he means GORGEOUS, in every aspect of the word. At the far end of the dance floor, Remy dance with those two brothers he met earlier plus a girl between them.

The guy sitting beside him sighs again and signaled at one of the bartender.

"Same stuff?" the same bartender smiled at him sympathetically.

"Just keep it coming." Said the man, smiling bitterly. "I charge you to make sure I'm drunk enough to dance naked on the table by midnight."

"Cheer up. It cannot be all that bad." Said the bartender cheerfully. He slapped Bobby on the shoulder and smiled. "This guy here is a pal of a friend of mine who used to work here. Looking at his face, obviously he had a bitchy day too. Why don't you talk your problems out with each other and cheer each other up? The night is still young, dude. Don't waste it."

Bobby chuckled softly while the other man rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Great. A nosy bartender trying to set me up on a pity date with a guy I never met before in my life. I think I've just hit rock bottom." The guy slurred half-drunkenly. The bartender laughed and moved on to another customer. The guy turned to Bobby and saw the plaster cast covering his left forearm. "Whoa, dude. Obviously you day is worst than mine."

"You have no idea." Bobby smiled as he signaled the bartender for another shot of vodka. "You're ready to drown your sorrow for the night, buddy? 'Cause I'm well on my way there."

"Buddy, I'm halfway there, already. You need to catch up quickly if you wanna do this together." Said the guy as the bartender returned with the drinks. Bobby glanced at him appreciatively. Blondish spiky hair, beautiful green eyes; nice but sad, sexy smile... hmm... a little bit different from the type of guys he used to hook up with, but hey, who is he to complaint. Those gorgeous eyes made up for everything else the guy lacks. Plus, he never slept with blonds before, thanks to his picky nature. Maybe a li'l bit of variety in his life will do him good in a long run.

"Well then, I better get started." Bobby laughed and he took the shot. "Keep it coming, bartender."

The guy nodded in satisfaction as he gulped his own drink.

"So, tell me about your disastrous day." Said Bobby. "If it's any worst than mine, I'll buy you a drink."

The guy snorted.

"What's there to tell? I loved this girl, and she loved me back. I finally thought I trusted her enough to share all of my secrets with her. I told her I'm bi but she doesn't have to worry about it because I love her and I only want to be with her and no one else. I thought she was open-minded enough to let it all pass with a laugh. Instead, the whole world blew up in my face."

"She freaked out, huh?" Bobby asked sympathetically.

"Big time." The guy laughed bitterly. "She began spewing stuff about abominations and how being gay or bi is God's way to separate the good and the wicked in this world and that we are all goin' to Hell. She even accused me of trying to lure her into being gay as well, into the 'hellish darkness' as she calls it. Then, after crossing herself several dozen times and hurling every imaginable insult in my face, she drove it all home by dumping me like yesterday's trash. Wooo-hooo!! Talk about a break-up from Hell!... heh heh..."

Bobby winced at that.

"Sorry to hear that, dude." He smiled sympathetically.

"Glad to know someone cares." The guy snickered. "So, do I earned that free drink, dude?"

"Nope." Bobby smiled. "Mine is worst."

"Oh yeah? I'll be the judge of that. Spill it." Said the guy.

"I'm in love with a married man." Bobby replied mildly as he took yet another shot of his vodka.

"Ouch!!" The guy winced distastefully.

"Yup. He 'n' his wife are two of my oldest friends and because I will never, ever hurt any of them in anyway, I just have to bear with it."

"Whoa. I'd rather be burn on a stake by that she-demon of an ex-girlfriend of mine than being in your shoes dude. You see him everyday at work?" asked the guy.

This time, it's Bobby's turn to laugh bitterly.

"We live in the same building. We work side by side. And then, a couple of days ago, he took several bullets that were actually meant for me. That stupid, stupid man! Why did he do that? He should have let those bozos shot me and put me out of my misery altogether. Now I feel even worst than before. I held him after he fell, crying like a baby for him to wake up. I spilled out everything and now everyone knows. Jean, Warren, Logan... I'll never be able to look at her eyes again..."

His laughs turned raspy and he quickly swallowed back the oncoming sobs, scrubbing his eyes with his sleeves roughly to prevent the tears from slipping out. A hand grabbed his wrist and he looked up into those green eyes that are looking at him sympathetically.

"I'm sorry." The guy said quietly.

"Nothing to be sorry at. Life goes on, as usual. You cannot always get what you want in life." Bobby replied, forcing a smile on his lips. "So, what's the verdict? Do I owe you a drink?"

"Nope." The guy smiled at him gently. "Let's buy our own drink and drown ourselves in our sorrows together."

"Crude solution, but acceptable." Said Bobby and they ordered another shot of vodka each.

"To our misery." They clinked the glass together before gulping it down.

"So you're in the police force dude?" Ask the guy again. "Or the military?"

"Kinda both." Bobby replied mildly. "What gave you the idea?"

"Bullets, shootings and New York. Do the math." The guy said before downing his drink once again.

"So what's your name anyway? I might as well know it now before I start dancing naked on the table with you." Bobby grinned as the man laughed. "Or should I just stick to Spiky?"

"The name's James, but you better call me Lance. People seem to like that name more for some reason. If you wanna call me Spiky, make sure you notify your next-of-kin and get your wills in order first. And you?"

"Robert. But my friends call me Bobby. They said that name is as cute as the way I look."

"Huh, I'm beginning to detect a swelling ego around here." Said Lance before downing another shot of vodka. He shivers a second later and began looking around irritably. "Is it me or is the whole place starting to get really cold around here?"

"Hmm...? Oh sorry." Bobby mumbled faintly enough to escape Lance's ears as he concentrate to stop his body from sucking up all the heat in the room.

"Stop laughing! I'm a businessman, not a famous singer/dancer like you!" Warren grumbled in the face of Nick's laughter as he began to dance again.

"Okay, okay. Why don't we take it again from the top? Ready? One-Two, One-Two-Three, Slide, One-Two, One-Two-Three, Slide, now turn! That's it! One-Two, One-Two-Three, Slide... See? I know you can do it! If you can organize your own battle routine in the Danger Room, trust me, you can do the same thing to my dance routine as well! Just focus on your steps and remember what I taught you in these past two days!" Nick said happily as they began doing one of his dancing routine.

Warren found himself laughing as they began to flow across the dancefloor.

"This is not as difficult as I thought!" He hollered against the blaring music as he continues to follow the simple dance routine Nick has been teaching him for the past two days. The song 'The Call" by the Backstreet Boys blared on and they flowed on with the music.

"Now turn!! One-Two, One-Two-Three... confident, baby! You need to watch your steps as well as looking confident or else people will lose interest with you." Nick hollered back as they dance. "Think of it this way. You're flowing with the music. You are one with the music. When the music goes up, you're soaring in the sky! When the tempo goes up, you are running along with it and you're the fastest man on earth! Yeah! That's it! Keep up that pose! Keep it moving, baby. Keep it moving! You're beautiful!!"

Nick continues on encouraging his lover as they dance. This is this simplest dance routine he could think of right now and Warren performed his part beautifully. He looks absolutely breathtaking when he dances as much as he is when he flies. What a pity he has to keep his image inducer on to hide his blue skin and that bulgy mass on his back where he strapped his wings tightly underneath his clothes. Through the link, Nick could feel the discomfort Warren is experiencing but there was nothing else he could do about it. The club is too crowded for him to leave his wings free in spite of the image inducer hiding it and although Remy's red-on-black eyes was widely tolerated by the people there, a blue-skinned angel in the club would be too much even for a mutant-friendly club such as this.

More than once, Nick felt tempted to snatch the image inducers away and release those wings from its confinement. Warren is beautiful as he truly is, not this illusion that he seeing right now. And also, to Nick, those wings are supposed to be free and angels are not meant to be caged.

"Listen baby, I'm sorry... Jus' wanna tell you don't worry...I will be late, don't stay up and wait for me... Say baby, yer droppin' out, my battery is low... Jus' so you'll know, we're goin' to a place nearby... Gotta go..." the song blared on as they dance.

"Halt and raise hands!" Nick shouted when the music shifted into a newer, slower direction. They slammed their foot on the floor at the same time and raised their hands in a flourish, moving it slowly, just like the way the guys did when performing on the stage. Nick laughed softly. Fatima would be very proud of Warren if she were here to see him right now. Two days of coaxing him to dance and Nick found himself successfully turning the brooding Archangel into a cheerful adept dancer. After all, what better way to keep him from thinking about his past dark histories and nightmares other than dancing? The music blared again quickly. "Here comes the tricky part! Remember the routine!!"

"Lemme tell you this story 'bout the call tha' change my destiny..." Nick began to sing along with the song as they dance. "Me 'n' muh boyz went out, just to end up in misery... We wuz about t'go home when there she wuz standin' in front of me, sayin' hi, I got a li'l place nearby, wanna go..."

A rising cheer and encouraging shouts filled the dance hall and it was at that moment when Nick noticed the large empty space that has opened up around them both and everyone else is cheering them on.

"Normal routine now!" Nick shouted on and they danced on together as the music came near to the end. "Keep your back straight! Beautiful, baby! Beautiful! Hold on to that pose! You're doing great! Not long now!"

"Listen baby, I'm sorry... Jus' wanna tell you don't worry...I will be late, don't stay up and wait for me... Say baby, yer droppin' out, my battery is low... Jus' so you'll know, we're goin' to a place nearby... Gotta go..." the song went on with Nick singing along with it as if he is performing in one of his concerts.

"Not long now!! Keep it steady, baby!" Nick shouted as the song nearly comes to its end. "Three-Two-One-STOP!!"

They froze; staring triumphantly, hands raised as the music stopped and the crowd grew wild.

"Oh my God! It's Nick Carter!!" One of the girls screamed and Warren laughed when she ran up and hugged him followed by several others.

His laughter was cut short as well, when awestruck men and women began surrounding him too.

"All right, y'all. That's enough for now." Nick laughed after a while. "I need to rest."

He pulled the dumbstruck Warren out of the crowd and together; they rushed through the confusion towards their corner, laughing all the way.

"YEAH!! Now I know what it feels like to be a famous singer!" Warren laughed.

"Oh my God! Warren! That was you who danced up there?? You were beautiful!!" Jubilee screamed when they reached their table. "I didn't know you've been taking dance lesson! Now I know why I've been hearing music from Nick's room all these while! Nick! You have got to teach me how to dance like that!!"

"I was good, ain't I?" Warren grinned as he winks.

"No fair! Yuh 'ave yer own personal professional dance instructor!" said Rogue as she glares at Nick. " 'N' ah thought we're supposed to be low-profile!"

"Sacre! What a sad night dis turn out t'be!!" Remy groaned as he came up and slumped onto the chairs before them.

"What happened?" asked Nick.

"You happened, mon ami." Remy turned an accusing eye on Nick. "You and mon Ange's li'l prancing up dere stole all de femmes and hommes away from poor Gambit!"

They all burst out laughing at that.

"Serve yuh right." Said Rogue tartly as she laugh. "Cheat on me again, will ya?"

"Mais chere, y'know Remy will never cheat on you, non?"

"I know, sugar." Rogue smiled as she leaned against the Cajun's shoulder.

"Where's Logan? And Bobby?" asked Nick.

"Logan went out about half an hour ago. After being groped and felt by more than a dozen guys in the past hours, he growled something that sounds like 'gettin' the hell out of here before I start tearin' this whole place apart'." Jubilee laughed.

Rogue burst into laughter at that.

"And Bobby?" asked Warren.

"I don't know where Bobby is." Jubilee shrugged.

"There he is, at the bar." Said Nick, pointing at Bobby kissing another guy. "Looks like he's getting lucky. Whoever that guy is, he looks hot! He kinda looks like Lance from 'Nsync... wait a minute... Oh my God! It is Lance!!"
