Hi all just a quick question for all of you, thus far as you all know I haven't gone into any great detail with the sex side of things. I was just wondering if people wanted more detail in that regard. And thank you all again for your emails I love them.
.............................................................................
Pete stretched. It had been a good night's sleep. He wasn't sure whether it was due to the training he and the others had been doing. Or because of Greg. It had been three weeks since his date with Brendon. It was sad that the members of his circle although all gay were also all into each other. Watching them had made Pete miss that connection with someone else. He was however happy for the others. This left him with Greg, the very charming Greg. Greg was tall with a well built fit body. He had that golden tan of someone who spends just the right amount of time outside. Pete smiled to himself as he got up. He felt the day would be a good day.
Tiff entered the kitchen and sat down. There was a cup of coffee and Pete's math book waiting for her. "You know if you weren't gay I'd rape you where you stand and demand to be married". Pete laughed, and ate his toast. "So what plans do you have for this afternoon", Tiff asked avoiding eye contact. "Nothing but homework, we don't train on Mondays. As you know. So spill or I take the book back". Tiff put on her best innocent look. Pete was not fooled. They may have only been best friends for six months, but they knew everything about each other. "Fine", she gave in with a flip of her hair. "The word is that a certain bi sexual high school god is going to corner you and have his way with you". The pair laughed at her comment. Both had heard the talk about Greg being interested in him. "Well if he does I will be sure to be ready", Tiff's eyes went wide. This caused Pete to laugh harder.
..............................................................................
Derik met up with the other three on the way to school. They still walked even though Brendon had his license. This was due to two things. Number one Brendon didn't have his own car. And number two the parking at school sucked. "So I think we need to talk about Greg" Jim announced the other three nodded. "I think he's just lonely and feels left out what with us all being together", Si said clearly talking about Pete. Si glared at Brendon and Derik. The four knew which of them that Pete had liked as more than close friends. "Si, he's made it very clear he wants to give Bren and Derik time to form their own relationship first". Jim said clearly telling his boyfriend to back off of the other two.
Derik and Bren both felt guilty about leaving Pete out. Although it had been Pete's choice. And he had repeatedly reinforced the fact to all of them. "I think it would help Pete", Bren said thinking about the limited part of Pete's past he had let them all know. The others nodded in agreement. They all knew that although Pete smiled and laughed he was still often depressed. "You may be right. A normal relationship outside of the circle could be what he needs". Jim said, the others agreed. They agreed more due to the fact they had no idea how else to help Pete.
............................................................................
Greg waited near the school gate. His buddies had left giving him grief over his infatuation with Pete. Greg had asked his younger sister to talk to Pete's friend Tiff. Tiff had agreed to help him get Pete alone. Pete being alone never seemed to happen he always seemed to have at least Tiff with him. Greg was looking around and instantly stood taller when he saw Pete and Tiff. He saw Tiff grab Pete's arm and say something before she ran off. Pete stood for a moment and shook his head when he saw Greg.
Pete smiled at Greg as he approached. "I should have seen this coming. Tiff is not good at deception". Greg grinned at the amusement in Pete's voice. "So are you going to walk me home", Pete asked with a grin. "I was going to offer unless you want to walk me home", Pete laughed at the playful way Greg was being. "You can walk me home, and if you're good I may invite you in". Greg grinned and indicated for Pete to lead the way.
The walk to Pete's place wasn't long. However it seemed to go even quicker as the pair talked about nothing. "So do you want to come in" Pete asked when they reached his place. Greg nodded looking up at the large three story house. "So is it just you and your parents that live here". Greg saw a shadow of sadness pass over Pete's face. "Um, no it's me my brother and four of his friends. The others are away at the moment". Greg could tell there was more but knew better than to push Pete. One thing he already knew about Pete was that if you pushed him he would just clam up.
"Would you like a drink", Greg nodded taking a seat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. Pete grabbed two cans of soft drink and sat down at the breakfast bar with Greg. They sat in silence for a few minutes out of nerves. Greg spent the time looking around the large kitchen. "So I guess you know I like you", Greg said not looking at Pete. Pete blushed and nodded. "The thing is I like you and I think we could have a lot of fun, But". Greg paused and looked at Pete who was watching him intently. "But, it can't be a long term kind of thing".
Greg looked at Pete who looked a little stunned. Greg could understand why, not many people would tell a potential boyfriend that it wasn't going to be long term. Greg hoped Pete would understand it was just that he was in year twelve and had plans. After school he was going to be moving away to university. He already knew he would have no trouble getting in. His friends may not have known it but Greg was a straight A student. So when he saw Pete smiling he was also stunned none of the girls he had asked seemed keen.
Pete was taken aback for a moment and then thought of the potential. Pete knew that Greg would be his only way of having any semblance of a normal life. He knew that after this year his life would be the guild and the life of a fifth. This meant he would never finish high school in the normal way. His circle had been formed the guild would want them at the beginning of next year for guild training at the guild university.
So it was that Pete was smiling at the idea of a short term romance with Greg. "How short term are we talking", he asked with a grin. He could tell that Greg was in shock now. "I mean until the end of the school year or what". Greg just sat staring at Pete. He then grinned and lent forward kissing Pete. It wasn't much of a kiss to start with. However as both teen relaxed and from the gentle probing it became a full on make out session for five minutes. "Until the end of the school year", Greg said as the pair sat catching their breath. Pete grinned, "Ok on one condition I go to formal with you". Greg laughed; if that was the only condition that Pete had he was in.
............................................................................
Pete sat with the other four in the library at lunch. The others noticed Pete seemed to be distracted. "I'm thinking that the attacks are from the guild. We all know there is an entrance exam. I'm thinking the attacks are part of that". Si was saying. Pete nodded his head not really thinking about the attacks. Greg had pounced on him that mourning as soon as he got to school. He had insisted on walking into the school holding hands. Pete had blushed as everyone turned to look. Most were positive there were a few dirty looks and calls of faggots. However the fact that Greg was one of the popular year twelves meant it went no further. When they had reached Greg's friends Pete had told him he had to go help Tiff. Before he left Greg had kissed him to the cat calls from his friends.
"Pete. What do you think"? Si was looking directly at him. It was obvious he had been trying to get Pete's attention. Pete blushed and tried to focus on what they were talking about. "I think your right. It's all been too well timed. Which mean me and Si need to spend some quality time just the two of us". Pete fluttered his eyelashes suggestively causing the others to laugh. And Si to frown at him, "I think you should spend less time with Tiff". Pete pretended to be insulted. It was obvious to the others he was playing.
"Well when can we do this", Bren asked. Si looked at Pete and shrugged his shoulders. Pete thought about it for a moment and figured the sooner the better. "Saturday in the park, we will have an advantage there". Si thought about it for a moment and nodded, the others all agreed.
..............................................................................
Derik and Bren were snuggling on Derik's bed. Both were wearing nothing but their underwear. Their relationship had quickly become a sexual one and the pair had enjoyed each other earlier. "Derik what do you think about Greg?" Bren asked as he traced patterns on Derik's chest. Derik thought for a moment, if he were to be honest he was jealous. He also felt guilty because he had Bren. "Honestly I'm jealous. And I know I shouldn't be as I have you and Pete had no one". Bren smiled to himself, he was happy to hear that Derik was experiencing the same feeling he was. "What about you, how do you feel about him and Pete"? Bren paused what he was doing before responding.
"I know I love you, I think I always have. However I'm really attracted to Pete as well. Why do you think he insisted on not being with us"? Derik had spoken to Tiff about that. Tiff had been less then forth coming with information. All she had really said was that Pete wasn't ready for that kind of relationship with an elemental at the moment. "I'm guessing it has something to do with the beginnings of a circle he had before". Bren agreed with Derik on that he had tried to get Pete to talk about it once. He had just annoyed Pete with his questions.
"Do you think he will ever you know join us", Bren asked softly. Derik tensed up for a moment and then felt warmth inside at the thought of him and Bren sharing Pete. "I think in time we will, but for now he's happy with whatever it is he has with Greg". Bren snuggled closer to Derik and sighed he agreed with Derik it was only a matter of time before he, Derik and Pete were together.
...............................................................................
Derik hadn't spoken to anyone about what he was going to do. He shared his last class on Thursday with Greg. At the start of class before it began he approached Greg. "Greg can we talk after class", Greg was surprised that Derik spoke to him. It had been close to two years since they had, had anything to do with each other. "Sure man, you know you guys can always talk to me", Derik nodded once and went to take his normal seat. Greg watched him walk off a little worried about what Derik had to say. He knew that it had to have something to do with Pete.
The class dragged for both Teens were thinking about an event that had occurred two year prior. Greg had gotten frustrated with the four guys that he thought were close friends. It had seemed to Greg at fifteen that his friends were always excluding him and going off without him. Greg had been noticing it for a while and in all honesty had started to become closer with other guys who liked and played the sports he did. This had really been the end of their friendship. Greg knew there was something that the four were keeping from him. And now he was guessing Pete was part of it.
The bell rang at the end of class. Greg let his friends go on a head wanting to talk to Derik. "This is about Pete isn't it", he demanded of Derik. Derik nodded, "Well I'm with him now and you don't have a say in it. And why should you care your with Brendon. I'm the one who saw you pair walk off hand in hand. And then found Pete crying alone at a bench". Derik was shocked by what Greg said. He and Bren had thought no one knew. "Don't be so shocked, the whole school thinks you and Brendon are a couple the same with Jim and Simon". Derik could see that there was very little point to talking to Greg. However Greg was not done. "I know he's part of your secret little group, and you are just looking out for him. Well just so you know you don't need to worry. In case you hadn't noticed my relationship with him is open and out unlike yours".
Derik felt a small amount of shame at Greg's last comment. But knew he had to fight back. "That's enough Greg. I didn't want to talk to you about all that. I just wanted to make sure you had Pete's best interests at heart. And I see you do, just don't hurt him, he's had enough hurt in his life without you adding to it". Derik snarled back at Greg in frustration. Greg stared at Derik for a moment before turning on his heel and storming off.
"Did that really help", it was Jim who first approached Derik the others hung back a bit. Derik looked at his friend still angry more so at himself. "No. And I hate how things turned out with him", Jim nodded his understanding. The four walked off home having accomplished little with Derik's confrontation with Greg. The other three didn't say it but all of them had intended to approach Greg at some point Derik had just been first.
..............................................................................
Greg found Pete waiting for him. The fact that Pete had waited for him made Greg smile. That small gesture was enough for Greg to know he hadn't put Derik up to confronting him. "They said something didn't they" it was a statement not a question. Greg nodded, Pete was not happy with his circle. "Which one, no it doesn't matter they all would have done it". Greg couldn't help but smile at Pete's obvious frustration. "I'm sorry about whatever they said, they really do mean well".
Greg just pulled Pete into a hug that turned into some serious kissing. When they separated for air Pete giggled. "Well I see it hasn't changed how you feel". The pair started to walk off hand in hand. "I would never change what we have. I want to be with you too much to change that for them". Greg stated squeezing Pete's hand as they walked. "So what are you doing Saturday"? Greg asked, Pete froze in place for a moment. Greg noticed immediately, "Did I say something"? Pete shook his head.
"No it's just I made plans with Si for Saturday and now I wish I hadn't", Pete said with a slightly worried frown. Greg lent in and kissed him gently, which was oddly reassuring. "What about Saturday night"? Pete's face lit up with clear excitement. "I will take that as you don't have plans, so how does my place pizza and movies sound". Pete nodded his agreement. The pair had reached Pete's house. "Well I wish I could stay but I have foot ball practice and have to get going". Pete nodded reluctantly letting go of Greg's hand. Greg pulled him into a tight embrace lifting him clear of the ground. Pete laughed loudly attracting the attention of an old lady walking her dog. The old lady saw the pair and just smiled. "I will see you tomorrow", Greg said placing Pete back on the ground and kissing him before heading off.
Pete stood and watched Greg jog off. As his older brother came up the drive. It was clear by Rob's face that he had watched Pete and Greg's interaction. "Do I want to know why a none elemental is kissing my brother when he has a full circle"? Pete smiled at his older brother and blushed looking away. "He's Greg my boyfriend", Rob was confused he had thought for sure that Pete would hook up with one or two of his elementals. Pete knew what his brother wanted to ask him. "They aren't ready. And me and Greg have an understanding a hot fast six month romances". Rob raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I will be home Saturday night, I may be staying at Greg's". Pete didn't give his brother time to respond as they entered the house.
...............................................................................
Saturday was a brisk clear winter day. Pete sat in a small patch of sun thinking he should have worn a jumper. He was waiting for Si in a large park that had a lot of secluded places. If their theory was accurate the guild would perform the next part of the exam. It was as he sat there thinking that he realised that something was different in the attacks. The difference was the first attack when he had been with Derik. In that attack people had been used, in the others it had just been animals. In honesty Pete was worried about that difference. With everything he had been told about the guild it had always been said that the guild never used people.
As he saw Si approach he tried to push that worry to aside. Si sat on the bench next to him. "Derik is sorry for interfering", he said after a moment of silence. The entire circle had felt how annoyed Pete had been by their interfering. "It's ok, Greg understood, and I'm over it now", Pete said smiling. He then frowned, "I think we are wrong about the first attack, I don't think that was a guild attack". Si thought about for a time and concluded the same thing as Pete.
"Well it could be a rival faction, I mean not all circles belong to the guild", Si offered as explanation. Pete nodded Si was right it was possible that one of the guilds enemies had attacked him and Derik. This did not however mean the Guild had not known and had acted with the following two attacks. "I guess we will see with what attacks us today". Pete nodded. The pair stood and started walking toward a more secluded area.
"Si", Pete was staring at a large black dot up in the sky. "I think we have company", the dot resolved it's self into a massive bird. The bird swooped down and picked Pete up in its massive talons. Si ran forward and tried to grab Pete. It was too late; the Bird was too fast and had friends. "Pete", Si screamed as he watched the terrified fifth being taken away. "Well don't just stand there go after him", Jim yelled at Si. The other three had been close by hidden from view. Si shook his head, "Don't you think I would if I could". Derik glared at Si, "You are part of a circle and flying isn't the highest skill at your disposal now". Si blinked rapidly and nodded focusing on the air around him he took off.
At first the feeling of flying gave him a sense of freedom. That is until he refocused on what he had to do. A giant bird had taken his fifth. As he thought about the birds he felt the air change around him. Where before the air had just felt like a current he now felt he could shape it. It took on the shape of massive clear wings that he had more control over than an air current. Si knew that the air wings were stronger and faster than the normal air currents he had used before were.
Pete had given up on struggling, it was clear the bird wasn't letting him go. It was also clear to Pete that he couldn't attack the birds. They were definitely way too high up. He knew he could use an air stream to hold his position in the air. However he was not sure how well it would work so high up. It was as he was contemplating options that he saw Si. Si looked like some kind of angel flying with translucent wings. Pete was impressed he had never seen an air elemental with wings before.
Si saw the three birds and attacked. The one that was holding Pete let go of the fifth who dropped quickly before he had a chance to form an air current under himself. Si was happy to see that Pete could keep himself aloft. The fight was short but intense. Si didn't really know where he got the strength from but he battered the birds with small tornados. He looked over at Pete who nodded to indicate he was ready to use his cleansing light.
Neither was surprised when three eagles and air spirits separated. Si flew over to Pete and pulled the smaller teen into his chest. It was not possible to talk at the speed that they were flying at. However once they had landed with a light thud, Pete hugged Si. Nothing needed to be said, Si had rescued Pete from the birds, and Pete knew Si was someone he could always count on. Once Si had relaxed he felt like collapsing. Using that much power had taken it out of him.
"Jim take Si home, he will need to rest", Pete directed as he gave Si another hug. Jim just nodded and helped Si toward the parking lot. As Pete, Bren and Derik watched the pair walk off Derik felt a little apprehensive. "Derik can I have a word with you alone please", Bren looked at his boyfriend with sympathy. "Firstly I would like to thank you for your concern about Greg. And I do know you meant well. But you and the others have to trust me I know what I'm doing and so does Greg, so don't worry and enjoy being with Bren". Pete gave his elemental a hug and then told him to join his boyfriend.
.............................................................................
Pete sat on a park bench for ten minutes before Nichole approached. "So we were right it's all been part of the entrance exam". Nichole nodded wondering if Pete and the others had put the rest of it together. "That is except for when myself and Derik were attacked correct". Again Nichole nodded. "On the plus side you passed with flying colours", she said as she put her arm around Pete. Pete lent into her and felt himself start to cry.
"Does it get an easier Nichole? I'm so worried about losing them". Nichole looked at Pete sadly and shook her head. "No little one it just gets harder as the challengers you face get harder. All we can do is try our best to keep them safe and alive". Pete nodded thinking of Tim and Darrel, Nichole squeezed his shoulders. "Come on now wipe your tears you have an evening with Greg to look forward to and your circle is safe for now". Pete tried to smile, "You can do better than that little one. Just remember we all have out moments of fear and wanting to lock our elementals up and away from harm." Pete nodded his understanding and thanked Nichole for being there for him.
...............................................................................
Greg knew that Pete was dealing with something the instant he answered the door to his little boyfriend. Greg didn't say anything just pulled Pete into a tight hug. They stayed like that in the doorway for a good five minutes until they were interrupted by Greg's mum. "Well are you going to just stand there and smother him or are you brining him in", she called out. Pete pulled away and grinned at Greg. Greg was happy to see that Pete appeared to feel better. And Pete did feel better. Greg was exactly what he needed "You ready for a night of snuggling, movies and junk food"? Greg asked, Pete smiled and nodded.
To be continued
