Fate Brought Billy Gilman to Me
Part #13
By Paul S. Stevens
When I awoke the next morning, I was alone in bed. There was a note on the nightstand from Billy.
It said that he had gotten a call from his manager, Angela Bacari, about an urgent matter. It said that he had gone down to the lobby to use one of the private conference rooms to talk candidly without distraction. I assumed he meant to talk privately away from Jesse's curious ears since I believed Billy had no secrets from me.
Billy came back about a half an hour later filled with enthusiasm and exhilaration.
"What's got you so buzzed?" I asked Billy.
"Something big is happening in Nashville and my agent wants me to be in charge of it," Billy said.
"That's great," I chimed. "What is it?"
"I'm not going to say just yet," Billy hesitated. "I don't want to jinx it. Once I've signed on and it's official, I'll let you know. Until then, no one is supposed to know anything about it, not even you. I promise you'll know before I tell anyone else, even mom and dad."
"Wow, it must be something big," I guessed.
"You have no idea," Billy said with deadpan seriousness.
"So, what does all this mean?" I inquired.
"It means I'll have to stay here a few more days," he candidly said. "If things work out, I may have to fly to Nashville to sign the deal and get things started."
"Oh, okay," I said.
My heart sank. I was fully expecting Billy and me to be able to go back home to Charlestown**,** Rhode Island together and resume our life as I'd grown to expect it. Nonetheless, there was nothing more important right now than getting Billy's career fully resuscitated and getting him back on top of his game where he fully deserved to be. Anyone who knows Billy knows that singing is his life. I can't imagine him doing anything else. On any given day, you'll find him singing morning, noon and night, around the house, in the shower, driving in the car or even occasionally at spontaneously inappropriate moments. As I've grown to realize, for Billy, there is no such thing as an inappropriate moment. That's just who Billy is.
I didn't relish the thought of flying home alone again, but if this opportunity is as big as Billy was suggesting, I'd just have to find a way to endure it for both our sakes.
We each got showered separately and we all packed as if we were all leaving. I was going back home to Charlestown**,** Rhode Island and Jesse was transferring to the Los Angeles Hilton in Universal City**. He'd be staying there during the time he was booked to begin recording his character voice "Theodore" for the upcoming "Alvin and the Chipmunks" sequel at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. Billy was packed and ready to go wherever he was needed at a moment's notice, putting himself on standby while he was waiting for all the pieces of this intricate puzzle to come together.**
I booked a single one way ticket back to Rhode Island and the soonest available opening wasn't for twelve hours.
"I'm sorry Barrett," Billy said, "I've got some business to handle and I'm afraid I'm going to be too busy to be very good company. If you want to find something else to do, I'll understand."
"I can go visit my parents for a while. I'm sure they'll be able to take me to the airport tonight," I said, thinking out loud.
"Perfect," Billy said as he gave me a `thanks for understanding' kiss.
Billy arranged for the limo driver to drive me to my parent's house in lieu of the airport and in five minutes, I was on my way to pay my parents a surprise visit.
The limo pulled up in front of my parents' house and all the neighbors came running out to see what it was all about. There hasn't been a limo in this neighborhood since the night of my senior prom. I got out of the limo, waved to everyone to let them know that nobody had died and then went up to the front door. The limo driver got my carry-on out of the trunk and followed me to the door. My mom opened the door, took one look at me and started crying. Once the driver saw everything was kosher, he wished me a safe flight and went on his way. I thanked him and then turned to my mother who was openly weeping at the door.
"What's wrong mom?" I asked.
"It's just so good to see you Barry," she answered wiping away her tears.
I was glad that Billy wasn't around to hear my mom call me Barry. I hated that name and never let anyone other than her call me that. She turned to my dad who was rushing to the door to see what all the commotion was about. "Honey, come see who's decided to pay us a visit."
"Oh, hello son," my dad said. "To what do we owe the honor of this visit?"
"I was just in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop by," I said as my mother grabbed my carryon and took my hand to pull me into the house.
We sat down at the dining room table and chit chatted for a while, catching up with all the latest news.
"So how are you surviving in that god-forsaken state?" dad asked.
"Actually it's really quite nice there," I said. "I like it."
"Are you getting along with all those roommates you live with?" my mom asked.
"Yes, we get along quite well," I said, holding back any details that would surely turn awkward.
"Have you found yourself a girlfriend out there yet?" My dad inquired.
Just then the phone rang. It was exactly what I needed to save me from having to endure the dance of deception. I really wasn't in the mood to engage in the embarrassing and uncomfortable conversation that this line of questioning would ultimately lead to. Mom walked into the room carrying the wireless phone. She put her hand over the receiver to speak to me.
"It's Roy calling from Nashville**," mom said.**
"Roy Dickerson?" I asked. "Tell him I said hi!"
"Actually, I just told him you were here and he wants to talk to you," mom said looking confused.
"Oh okay, thanks mom." I said.
I took the phone into the other room to speak to Roy in private. I hadn't seen our friend of the family since he was here in Los Angeles on that momentous day when fate brought Billy Gilman to me.
"Hey Roy**, what's up?" I began.**
"Interesting that I should find you in California**," he said. "What's been going on?"**
"I came out here to be with Billy now that his latest album has been completed," I explained. "We spent the weekend sightseeing and in a few hours, I'll be heading back to Rhode Island while Billy stays here for the time being."
"Yeah, I thought so," he complained.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked, not sure if I should be offended or not.
"The buzz around Nashville is, whoever Billy's newest love interest is, they're getting in the way of Billy's career. They say she's got him pussy whipped."
"What!" I gasped. "And what do they mean `she'?"
"Well, `she' means they don't know it's you," Roy said candidly. "So far, Billy's team of publicists are doing an incredible job of spin control and keeping things quiet and private for now so nobody really knows for sure what's going on. It can't last forever though. Soon, the public is going to find out exactly who Billy's love interest is and when they do, all the work that has gone into rejuvenating Billy's career will go straight down the drain."
"What am I supposed to do?"
"Look Barrett, I know you love this guy but you're running the risk of ending his career and destroying his future. Is that what you want for him?"
"Am I supposed to just walk away or something?"
"I know you'll do the right thing here, for you and Billy both. You're still young, you'll bounce back, but this may be Billy's last chance to fulfill his dream."
"Yeah, I know his career is important, it's important to me too but what about his love life? Doesn't he deserve to have both?"
"I don't have all the answers for you Barrett," Roy confessed. "I only know that this situation is bigger than the both of you. I just wanted you to be forewarned. As Billy gains more recognition and popularity again, the harder it's going to be to keep your relationship with Billy a secret. One of the most difficult challenges celebrities face in their career is keeping their private lives private. There's been virtually no new information published about Billy's life over the past several years and the public has become starved for any new news they can get their hands on. Something is about to happen here at the Grand Ole Opry and Billy is going to be an important part of it. His popularity is about to explode and when it does, things are going to become quite complicated, so you better prepare yourself!"
"Yeah okay, thanks," I said reluctantly.
"Well, I've got to go now. Please tell your mom I'll call again soon. I'm sorry I had to be the one to have this conversation with you. We've known each other for a long time now and you know I'd never steer you wrong. I only have your best interest at heart. I'm sure you'll agree that it's better that you hear it from me now rather than read about it in the newspapers later, right?"
"Yeah, I appreciate that. Thanks for the heads up," I told him and ended our conversation.
I hung up the phone and experienced a devastating flood of emotions. First I felt angry at Roy for sticking his nose in my business. Then I felt sick to my stomach from knowing that Roy was only telling me the gossip that was circulating around the center of the Country Music scene where he lives and works in the industry, right in the heart of Nashville**. Then I felt ashamed of myself for being so selfish that I was putting Billy in jeopardy, thinking only of my own wants and desires. Then I felt scared because I was only able to think of one way to truly fix this problem and that was to walk away and allow Billy to have the future he deserves. The more I thought about it, the more distraught I became.**
Fortunately, being with mom and dad helped me keep my mind off the troubling phone conversation I'd just had with Roy**. After spending the few hours I had available to visit them, they took me to the airport and saw me off. Being alone on the plane took its toll on me though. I began to obsess about the phone call from** Roy that I'd managed to suppress up to now. After hours of deep thought and contemplation, I failed to come up with an alternate solution other than removing myself from Billy's life so he could have the future he deserves without me standing in his way. I needed to do a lot more contemplation on this subject before I do anything and with Billy still gone, there will be plenty of time to reflect on this further.
Once I was back home in Rhode Island**, Billy's absence from my day-to-day life made time creep by excruciatingly slowly. As for Billy, the opposite was true. Time was flying by fast and furiously for him. The flurry of activity all happening at once was coming together like magic. The only thing that kept me going at home was the continual updates that Billy texted me several times each day.**
It turns out that his manager, Angela Bacari had gotten a request from an organization called "Souls4Souls" that wanted a song written to promote their latest effort to put as many shoes on the souls of underprivileged children around the world as possible. After Billy watched the Souls4Souls video on YouTube, he met with the organization's executives and instantly became a supporter. He started writing the song while he was still in the hotel room in Los Angeles and by the time he arrived in Nashville two days later, he had the song and the project objectives officially established and ready to submit to the organization. Once Billy presented his ideas and song demo, they instantly approved his proposal and insisted that Billy spearhead the entire project himself. He agreed to all their terms and conditions and was signed on by the end of the day.
The next morning, Billy and his songwriting collaborators, Dan Murph and Philip Douglas, finished the final editing of the melody and lyrics and the song was ready to be recorded.
Billy went into the recording studio and began to lay down the initial tracks. After listening to the preliminary mix, Billy and J. Gary Smith, the song's producer, agreed that the song would benefit from the introduction of another voice. Billy then called and asked a fellow artist to sing on it with him. That led to another artist and soon, the project took on a life of its own. Before Billy knew it, more than a dozen of the most amazing iconic country artists were lining up to volunteer their time and talent to the recording of the song and their support to the cause. Almost overnight, it became country music's equivalent of Michael Jackson's "We Are the World".
By the end of the week, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Craig Morgan, Rodney Atkins, Kenny Rogers, LeAnn Rimes, Steve Holy, Kellie Pickler, Keith Urban, Wynonna Judd, Amy Grant, Montgomery Gentry, Diamond Rio, Vince Gill, Ronnie Milsap, Richie McDonald, Randy Travis, and Josh Turner were all signed on and the song entitled "The Choice" was destined for the history books. With this much superstar talent coming together for this worthy cause, the stakes were anted up and the objective had escalated to a dizzying commitment to put 500,000 shoes on the feet of children worldwide.
More than a week had gone by and both the song and video were finished and in the hands of their distributor, "Regal Entertainment Group", the largest movie cinema company in the United States**. In addition to Regal premiering the music video, CMT was going to put considerable muscle behind the song with an extensive marketing campaign that would include a special promotion on the CMT main channel, CMT mobile, CMT Insider, CMT Radio and CMT Internet blog networks.**
Billy was able to procure a copy of the video earlier in the week and he immediately mailed us a copy. When it arrived, Colin, Spencer and I sat down together and were among the very first consumers on the planet to view the fruits of their labor. We were moved to tears by the amazing achievement that everyone involved had made. We got chills hearing all the famous voices as each artist took their turn, adding their own special flavor and personality to the recording. Billy's song was destined to become a country music classic and the music video depicting Billy and countless volunteers putting smiles on so many children's faces had enough heart and passion that their goal of 500,000 shoes now seemed a reasonable accomplishment.
Billy's popularity exploded overnight and his personal, business and fan club e-mail messaging systems almost crashed their respected servers. Billy was busy trying to cope with this huge influx of attention. Most of the messages were to compliment Billy's new song and video. Others were inquiries pertaining to how to donate to Souls4Souls that were then directed to the Souls4Souls website. The organization offered consumers a spectacular deal. Download "The Choice" from iTunes and for the cost of your download, one pair of shoes will be donated to the effort. I immediately began a personal campaign to get as many people as I could to buy Billy's song. For the price of $1.29, their iTunes purchase will get them a digital copy of Billy's phenomenal song and at the same time, some lucky and deserving child somewhere in the world will get a much-needed pair of shoes.
One troubling string of e-mail threats came from Billy's latest nemesis, Derek. He had learned of Billy's new-found success and vowed to cash in on the deal, promising to deliver a much more potent set of press releases that would end his career once and for all if he didn't get what he wanted this time. In light of what Derek was threatening to do, it made my innocuous relationship with Billy seem quite insignificant.
Other than this latest development with Derek, Billy was finally done with his part of the project and was finally coming home. He told me he was trying to get a flight out tonight but the weather in Nashville was looking bad and the flight could get canceled. He said if that were the case, he'd be home the following morning and he'd be bringing home a surprise for me.
It was getting late and I hadn't heard whether Billy was coming home tonight or tomorrow. I undressed and climbed into bed to wait for Billy's call and ended up falling asleep. I awoke to the touch of a hand fondling my balls in a most gentle and pleasing manner as he spooned up against my back, obviously naked from head to toe.
"Is this the surprise you promised me?" I said keeping my eyes closed.
The feel of his masculine strength as he reached around me was so arousing my heart began to race. The aroma of his cologne as it mixed with his manly body chemistry ignited a surge of adrenaline that rushed through my body. He gently kissed the back of my neck and his silky tongue and warm breath made every hair on my body stand on end. Then I heard the faintest, sexiest whisper escape his lips.
The words "I Love You!" echoed in my brain as it sensuously entered my ears and then coursed though my veins.
I couldn't stand it any longer, I had to open my eyes and face my lover.
"I Love You Too Bi... Oh My God****"
As I turned to behold my lover, I discovered it was Colin who had climbed into bed with me. Apparently, Billy still hadn't gotten home yet and Colin was taking advantage of his brother's absence by playing his favorite game, "While the cat's away, the mouse will play".
"Wow, we haven't even started making love yet and you're already calling out to the divine," Colin smirked.
"What are you doing here?" I snapped. "Billy could be walking in the door at any minute. What would he say if he saw us here in bed together like this?"
"I don't know what he'd say but I know what I'd say. I'd tell him that if he wants to keep you, he's gonna have to fight for you."
"Come on Colin, get real," I said disparagingly.
"Don't worry. Billy can't get here from the airport without one of us going to get him. I don't think he's coming home tonight so we've got plenty of time to make beautiful music together, and when I say, `make music', I mean `Make Love'."
"We've gone through this before Colin, you can't keep doing this."
"I know, but I can't help it, I love you. If I can't have you all to myself, then I'll settle for just having you near me. Please promise me that you'll never leave."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, if you and Billy should split up for some dumb ass reason, don't... like, move away or something stupid like that. You're family now. I need you here just as much as Billy does, maybe more. Just having you around makes me happy. Between you, Billy and Spencer, my world is complete."
"I can't make you a promise like that," I harshly stated and just as the words passed my lips, I could see the tears well up in Colin's eyes.
"I thought you loved me," Colin said as he turned away from me.
"I do love you," I said as I reached out to pull Colin into a hug.
"Don't touch me!" Colin said as he jerked away from me.
"Okay, okay I promise. I won't move away. I'll find a way to maintain balance in the force."
"You're making jokes, you're not being serious." Colin frowned.
"No, I am serious, really I am," I said as I doubled my efforts to pull Colin into a hug. "This is how serious I am," I said as I squeezed Colin tightly to my chest and kissed his thick juicy lips.
I felt his cock start to grow and harden against my thigh and I instantly started growing my own hardon as my body began to respond to the likeness of Billy that was ever present within Colin.
"Okay now, that's it, off to your own bed now," I said trying to get Colin out of my room before I lost all control of myself.
"Ah, come on, don't kick me out of your bed again," Colin moaned.
"Go on now, there's somebody across the hall that's going to be missing you pretty soon. We've got to stop meeting like this. One of these days, Spencer is going to wake up and find that you're missing and come looking for you. If he does, your little perfect world is gonna come crashing down on top of you."
"All right, you win this time but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying," Colin said as he shot me a wicked smile and then walked out of the room flexing and clenching the muscles of his naked bubble butt just to remind me what it was that I was missing. It worked too because he left me to have to wrestle with my own wicked boner that was aching for something only a Gilman could satisfy.
At 5:45 a.m.****, my phone woke me from a sound sleep. I was in the same position Colin had left me in and it looked like I had sustained the same boner as well. I squinted as I struggled to focus my eyes and read the caller I.D. on the display. It was Billy calling so I answered it right away.
"Hey babe, where are you?" I asked.
"I'm here at the airport, could you come get me?"
"Sure, I don't have to be to work until ten o'clock**," I told him. "I'll throw on some clothes and be there in twenty minutes."**
"Don't go to any trouble," Billy chirped. "Just come as you are."
"I'm naked!" I whispered.
"I know!" he answered.
"Very funny Honey," I laughed. "I'm on my way, see you soon."
I hung up the phone, threw on some clothes and rushed out the door. I was missing Billy and wanted to see him as soon as possible. On the other hand, what I needed to talk to him about was something I couldn't put off any longer. Then I remembered the promise I made to Colin last night about never leaving, no matter what should happen. Once again, I found myself between a rock and a hard place. How was I going to do the right thing for Billy, Colin and myself without breaking any hearts? The inner turmoil made me sick to my stomach and my consternation became an obsession.
Once I got to the airport, I spotted Billy right away. He was surrounded by fans and local admirers and Billy was being his usual gracious self by shaking hands, getting on one knee to talk to small children, posing for pictures and signing countless autographs. As I approached Billy to help him excuse himself from the crowd, I was made to feel like I was some kind of autograph hound that was horning in on Billy without waiting for my proper turn in order.
When Billy saw me unsuccessfully trying to get to him, he announced he had to leave and politely excused himself. In less than a minute, Billy was ready to go, unencumbered by any additional celebrity seekers and in no time, we had retrieved Billy's luggage and were on our way home.
Once we were on the road, Billy leaned over to kiss me.
"Okay what's up?" Billy asked me like a professional interrogator sensing immediately there was something wrong.
"What are you talking about?" I innocently said to the best of my ability.
"Come on, are you telling me there's nothing on your mind?" Billy said staring me down. "I think I know you well enough now to know when there's something wrong. Is it all the new attention I've been getting lately? Is it that I've been gone a lot? Was it the crowd you saw around me at the terminal? What is it?"
"I'm not jealous of your fame, in fact I've always expected that to be part of our relationship."
"Okay, if it's not that, then what?" Billy said accusingly.
An awkward silence followed as I found it almost impossible to speak. Then Billy saw a tear escape the corner of my eye and he suggested we pull off to the side of the road and stop for a minute.
"Do you want me to drive?" Billy asked tenderly as he became aware of the volatile mood he thought he had initiated.
"Look Billy, this is really hard for me," I began.
"What's hard for you? Barrett, what's going on?"
"I've gotten some information from a reliable source."
"Don't believe what they say, I didn't do it, whatever it is!"
"Billy, just listen." I said. "You're not making this any easier."
"Sorry..., I'll shut up now..., go ahead."
"Okay, here goes...," I said as I summoned all the courage I could muster. "My source says that the press is trying to find out who I am. The word is that I'm standing in the way of your career. The word is that I'm holding you back from realizing your dream. The word is that I've got you pussy whipped."
Billy laughed. "Is that it? Is that what's got you all upset?"
"Well... yeah!"
"Is it true?" Billy asked with a straight face. "Do you feel you're standing in the way of my success? Do you feel that you're keeping me from realizing my dream?"
"No, your success is one of the most important things to me."
"Do you feel then, that you've got me pussy whipped?" Billy asked and then chuckled.
"Well yeah, kind of," I said as I gave him an evil grin.
"Okay, anything else?" Billy questioned.
"Well, right now, they think I'm a `she' but it won't take long before they find out that the person they assumed was a `she' all this time was actually me. That will destroy everything you've worked for since I met you and I can't let that happen. The media is leaving me no choice. They're going to pursue this to the very end. They're making me feel like I have to bust out of prison with my hands and feet shackled. I love you very much Billy but I feel very selfish, holding on to you, doing all the taking in this relationship and not giving anything back."
"Okay, is that it?" Billy asked again.
"Well, the only solution I've been able to come up with is to remove myself from your life, step away so you can achieve your dream and have the success and career you deserve. I've stood up and fought for you in the past but now, I feel I can only cause more harm than good. I'm going to have to do what's best for you. I've made my decision. I'm going to have to walk away now before I ruin your future."
"So, you're saying that you're just going to walk out of my life, just like that? Did you stop loving me? Is it just that simple for you?" Billy said as his voice began to tremble.
I felt like my heart had just exploded from within and as I looked into Billy's face, it appeared that I had just done the same to him. I felt like I had a knife in each hand and had just committed a dual crime of passion. As the words came out of my mouth, it seemed like it was someone else talking. I couldn't believe I was saying these things but I'd rather nip this problem in the bud now than to be responsible for murdering Billy's future. This is the lowest I've ever sunk in this relationship and I just wanted to die!
"NO... I... I desperately love you but I just don't know what else I can do..." I said as the tears I was holding back burst through with a vengeance.
"Well, I desperately love you too Barrett and I'm warning you right now, I won't let you off the hook that easy. I'm going to fight for you!"
Then Billy started singing a song called `Easy' expressing the way he feels.
Easy
You say you made your decision
It's final, you're leavin'
And that's that
You say you're bustin' out of this prison
All this takin' and no givin'
And there's no turnin' back
Did you think I'd hold the door for you?
I thought you knew me better than that
I won't let you turn and walk away
Won't pretend that everything's OK
I won't wish you well
The way you want me to
Sorry baby I won't make it easy for you
I always admired your conviction
How you stood up for yourself
When things got rough
I had a moment of indecision, there's no forgivin'
And sorry's not enough
You always told me not to give up
So why are you givin' up on us?
I won't let you turn and walk away
Won't pretend that everything's OK
I won't wish you well the way you want me to
Baby can't you tell that's just too hard to do?
Sorry baby I won't make it easy for you
Billy started to choke on the last few words of his song and I felt the excruciating pain of my heart breaking as I started to think about death and dying alone, having broken my lovers heart right along with my own.
"You listen to me Barrett. I'll let you know if things get too hot to handle with the rumor mill and if they do get too hot to handle, we'll solve the problem together, you hear me Barrett? Together! I've chosen you as my partner and mate knowing full well what the consequences are, so don't worry about any of that shit right now. Things are just starting to take off for me and none of it will mean anything to me if I don't have my lover at my side to share it with! Do you understand?"
"Yes Sir," I said feeling like I was a school boy who had just been scolded for being naughty.
A few seconds later, Billy busted out laughing. "Don't call me `Sir' you freakazoid."
"Sorry," I said as I laughed right along with Billy, realizing that I had gone through the last week, torturing myself for nothing.
"So, are you with me?" Billy said with all the charm and warmth I had grown to know and love about the most important person in my life.
"Yes Sir!"
"Freakazoid!" Billy said as he leaned in to kiss me.
To no surprise, I received a genuine Billy Gilman kiss that melted away all the pain and anxiety that I had built up over the last several days. The taste of reconciliation was sweet and all was right with the world once again. Even though I was feeling better now, deep down I knew the real issue had not been resolved. I was going to have to continue to deliberate and ponder more ideas that would be less painful for me and more efficient and practical for Billy and his unique situation. Billy is far too trusting for someone in this industry and he only sees the good side of people. He truly believes that everything is going to work out just fine. I know better though, not because I'm cynical but because I've already seen what the public is capable of and the little bit that I've seen is only the tip of the iceberg. I'll go along with Billy's suggestion for now but there will come a time when I'll need to take action. Because of Billy's naive and innocent nature, it will be up to me to do what's necessary and take the appropriate action at the appropriate time. I just pray that I'll be ready with the right solution.
I reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a tissue, dried my eyes and blew my nose and to my surprise, Billy did the same. Once again, Billy and I looked at each other and started to laugh. We were both feeling a lot better now that this whole episode was behind us. Once I'd regained my composure, we were on the road again, heading for what we both called home.
"Oh, don't forget, I've got a surprise for you when we get home," Billy said.
I immediately thought back to when Colin snuck into bed with me last night, thinking it was Billy. I felt my cock start to swell and my foot reacted by hitting the accelerator as I suddenly felt the need to get us home as soon as possible.
We got home and we both carried Billy's luggage into the house. Colin and Spencer were still home to greet us and Billy hugged his brother and Spencer.
"How was your trip?" Spencer asked.
"What was it like to meet all those country superstars?" Colin asked.
"How is the fundraising drive going?" I asked.
"I promise, I'll answer all your questions later," Billy said. "Right now, I'm going to show Barrett why it would be a bad idea to ever leave me!" Billy said as he took me by the hand and led me into the bedroom.
A look of confusion fell upon Colin and Spencer's faces after hearing something about me leaving Billy. Then, as they saw the devilish grin on my face as Billy pulled me out of the living room and down the hall to the bedrooms, their expressions turned from dismay to delight as they understood the innuendo that Billy had implied.
"See you two later," Billy said as Billy pulled me into our bedroom and locked the door.
"You know, I still have to go to work today," I told Billy.
"Don't worry, this won't take long," Billy said as he pulled up my shirt over my head and then removed his own.
Our bodies were drawn to each other as if our souls were magnetically charged. As our skin came into contact with each other, it sparked a reaction in us that caused us both to pop boners so hard and fast that we could almost hear it. Billy and I had been away from each other for so long that we were almost ready to cum and we hadn't even gotten our pants off yet.
"Take a seat," Billy said, "I'll be right back."
Billy stepped out into the living room where we had left his luggage. He noticed that Colin and Spencer had left for work so he was able to retrieve what he was looking for without being questioned. He then came back into the bedroom carrying a long tube like the kind that are used for blueprints in one hand and a small black box in the other.
"What have you got there?" I asked
"I picked this up in a little sex shop in Nashville**," Billy said as he began to open the small black box.**
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's called `The Body Zapper' and I thought we'd give it a try," Billy said as he began to unpack the box. "Ever since Jesse did that electric stimulation thing at Club Xes, I've wanted to see what it was like to do some electro-play."
"Oh, I see!" I said. "What does it do besides shoot electricity through you?"
"Well there's two pieces," Billy began. "The main part in called the `Ultimate Violet Wand' which is the main controller.
Billy pulled the wand out of the box. It was a white cylindrical apparatus that was approximately eight inches long and resembled a non-descript dildo with the power cord at the bottom and a circular socket at the top. Then he pulled out the zapper which consisted of a flat aluminum plate that was rectangular in shape looking to be about four by six inches attached to a cord that plugged into the top of the wand.
"You plug this into the wall and you plug the zapper in here and that's all there is to it," Billy concluded.
"How does it work?" I asked, amazed that Billy was handling this device with such authority and composure. As for me, I was totally freaking out inside.
"Take your pants off but keep your underwear on," Billy instructed.
I nervously did as he asked. Then he slid the flat plate of the zapper into the waistband of my Speedos. I held my breath for a second squeezing my eyes shut, terrified of being fried alive.
"Barrett..., breathe!" Billy huffed. "What a baby. I haven't even turned it on yet."
Billy picked up the `wand' and flipped the `on' switch to `zap' and turned up the sensitivity control to some undisclosed amount. Once again, I squeezed my eyes closed awaiting the shock of my life.
"Barrett," Billy called out to me. "Open your eyes and look at me!" It's you that's going to be zapping me. You're not going to feel much of anything at all. If anyone here should be scared of this thing, it's me."
All that Billy's statement managed to do was transfer my fear from hurting myself to hurting him.
"All right Barrett," Billy said taking a deep breath of his own, "undress me!"
As I reach for Billy's waist to remove his pants, my hands touched the bare skin of his torso and I heard the crackling of electricity. Billy's body reacted and I witnessed his entire six-pack flex unintentionally.
"Okay, let's turn this sucker down, shall we," Billy exclaimed.
I almost laughed at Billy's statement. He was right though, I hardly felt anything but it was apparent that Billy had received a hefty jolt of juice he was not expecting. He turned the wand's sensitivity control down and then asked me to please continue.
I resumed my task of undressing Billy, casually touching his skin along his thighs, calves and ankles as I pulled his pants to the floor. Billy was enduring it much better now and actually seemed to be enjoying it. I had Billy sit on the bed as I removed his shoes and socks and made his legs twitch and jump as I touched his feet. I was finally down to the all-important underwear and Billy was now cooing with pleasure. I had Billy lay back on the bed as I removed them. Billy's rock solid erection popped out as I slid off the last remaining stitch of clothing that stood between me and his naked body. Billy looked me in the eye as his sensuous body language told me that he was ready to dive right into some serious lovemaking. I started off massaging his shoulders and then worked my way around to his adorable nipple nubs. This seemed to be Billy's erotic trigger. Each touch sent waves of pleasure across Billy's body as he wiggled and squirmed under my electrified touch.
I then worked my way around to the back of Billy's body, turning him over to embrace his sexy bubble butt. I spread his ass cheeks to reveal his rosy anal lips. I licked my finger, giving my tongue a mild buzz. I now had a clearer understanding of what it was I'd been dishing out. I teased the surface of Billy's orifice with my wet finger causing it to spasm as I would pass my digit across it.
Billy's breathing became shallow as the combination of my foreplay and the electrification of Billy's new toy began to overwhelm his mind body and spirit. I turned Billy back over, spread his legs and took Billy's cock into my mouth. My tongue received a series of tickling sensations like a thousand tiny feet were dancing upon it, running up and down and arcing across the gaps between his penis and the roof of my mouth. I was enjoying sucking on Billy's cock in this way and I can only imagine what Billy was feeling.
"Oh My God, I can't hold it back any longer," Billy announced.
I was now determined to give Billy a ride he wouldn't soon forget. I reached my right hand over to Billy's left nipple nub which I sensed was a little more sensitive than the other one. Then I wet my two fingers on my left hand and reached around to Billy's back side and dove straight for his engorged prostate button. Billy's body became animated as I stimulated him from three key erogenous zones at once. I've had enough practice on Billy by now to be able to zero in on his elusive `G' spot in three seconds flat. I only needed to press a couple of times on Billy's milking tab to make him explode, jettisoning his enormous load into my mouth. The high salt content of Billy's semen acted like a conductor, amplifying the electric current between Billy's cock and my mouth. I suddenly felt light headed and everything went dark. The unexpected surge of electricity had caused me to pass out. When I came out of my fog, Billy was slugging me in the chest.
"What the hell are you doing?" I barked at Billy as I grabbed him by the wrist to stop him from pummeling me.
"We both got quite a shock from this thing," Billy said with a quiver in his voice. "It knocked you out cold. I thought I lost you!"
"All right, I guess we're even now," I said.
"Even, what are you talking about?" Billy exclaimed.
"I seemed to remember making you pass out one hot passionate night not too long ago," I reminded him. "You were out for quite a while too. I thought I had killed you. I was sure that I was going to spend the rest of my life in jail for killing the famous child star, Billy Gilman. I envisioned hearing the lead story on the evening news:
`****Billy Gilman, the famous Country Music star was pronounced dead today at his home in Charlestown, Rhode Island****. Billy Gilman's song "One Voice" catapulted Billy to early stardom and his debut album of the same name was certified double platinum in the United States. Billy Gilman was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest singer to ever reach #1 on the Top Billboard Country Album charts. Billy, dead at 21, killed by his boyfriend during a sex marathon. The Official Cause of death, murder by orgasm!'."
"I was having a similar epiphany about you," Billy confessed. "I saw myself on trial for your murder. I was on the stand and testifying how I had electrocuted you from inside your mouth and how my semen had come to be there. The DNA evidence was conclusive that it was my semen that had been found in your mouth and I had used it to electrocute you to death. I was going to be known as the Cum Murderer. The headline would read: `Billy Gilman's victim, dead at 21. The Official Cause of death, murder by cum-shot!'."
"Oh My God, we're two potential killers on the loose," I said in jest.
"Of course you know I'm going to have to write a song about this," Billy said with all seriousness.
We looked at each other for several moments. I tried to read Billy's expression to determine if he was being serious or not. Then a small crack of a smile at the corner of his mouth gave him away and we both busted out laughing.
"I love you Billy," I said letting my best friend, partner and mate know how much he meant to me.
"I love you too," Billy said as he hugged and kissed me in a way only Billy Gilman can.
Billy's kisses have always been sexually devastating to me and we both started to bone up again.
"I'd love to stay and play all day but I have to leave for work now before I lose my job," I told Billy as I started getting dressed to leave.
"I know, you go ahead, I'll be fine," Billy said. "Don't forget, I have a surprise for you when you come home tonight."
"Really, I thought that our little sex party just now was your surprise."
"Nope, you'll just have to wait until you get home."
"Okay," I said as I finished dressing. "I can't wait."
I gave Billy another quick kiss and ran out the door. I was smiling to myself because as I drove to work, I realized that I was living the best possible life that anyone could hope for. Even though there has been some ups and downs, there was no place I'd rather be than here and no one I'd rather be with than Billy Gilman, the best possible friend, partner and lover there could be all rolled into one.
