Freshman Year

Jeremy Thompson had the queasy feeling in his stomach that you always get when you feel out of place, frightened, and all alone. The bell had rung and he had poured into the High School with several hundred other freshmen for Orientation Day. "Thank God there aren't any upperclassmen" Jeremy thought as he followed the crowd to the school auditorium. His biggest fear was that he would get lost in the large new school and be embarrassed to have to ask someone for directions to a class.

Three hundred freshmen boys and girls all laughing, talking, and checking each other out filled the seats of the spacious auditorium. Jeremy saw quite a few kids he knew from his Middle School but there were many more he had never met. He slipped into a chair and slid down trying to hide and take it all in. Mr. Robertson, the school principal, started the assembly and welcomed them all to West Allis High. He droned on for almost an hour before dismissing them to their first class.

Jeremy had taken the tour of the building earlier in the week and was pleased he remembered where his math class was located. As he entered the room he saw about half the class filled with kids he knew and the other half were strangers. He chose a seat near the back and sat down putting his feet on the chair in front of him. "Mind if I sit here?" Jeremy looked up to see a blond haired guy about 5'4" and 110 lbs swing his book bag off his shoulder. "Naw it's ok" Jeremy said as he pulled his feet off the chair and made room. "I'm Adam" the blond kid said as he held out his hand. "Adam Sanders". Jeremy gave the kid's hand a little smack, "Jeremy Thompson". Adam slid into his seat and looked back. "Is this going to be a tough class?" Adam asked as he started to unpack his notebook. "My older brother said this is a ball breaker!" Jeremy grinned as Adam's smile faded and he made a little groan. "That's all I need" Adam whispered as the teacher called the class to order. Fifty minutes later the class thankfully ended.

The rest of the school day went as you might guess. Jeremy got lost once or twice and had to ask directions. Lunch was the usual public school fare but he did find a few of his friends from his old school to sit with and to share their first day experiences. It was late in the afternoon that Jeremy ran into Adam again. "Trying out for choir?" Adam said as he and Jeremy stood looking at the bulletin board by the music room. "Ah, well I was thinking about it" Jeremy said a little embarrassed. "I'm trying out" Adam said as he wrote his name on one of the available lines on the sheet. "You any good?" Jeremy asked with a little worry in his voice. "Pretty good" Adam said, "But I'm sure there are other guys better than I am". Jeremy gave it a couple more seconds thought. "Well, I guess it won't hurt to try" he said as he signed his name as well.

By the end of the first full week of classes the freshmen had started to feel a little more at home. Jeremy got taken by a couple of senior guys that sold him an elevator pass for a dollar. It took him two hours of searching to realize the building didn't have an elevator. "Shit!" he thought as he headed out for the bus that night. "How fucking dumb can you be?" as he slowly shook his head. The following Monday Jeremy made his way back to the music room for his tryout for the choir. He sat on one of the cold metal folding chairs along the wall and waited his turn. The choir director, Mr. Andreeson had each student stand by the edge of the piano, sing scales, and then gave them a sheet of music to sight read. As they sang their part he played the piano and made some mental notes about their voice. Jeremy was called forward and his mouth got very dry. He did as he was asked and was certain he blew the audition. "Way to go Jere" Jeremy said to himself as he left the room. "You fucking blew that big time!"

It wasn't until Friday that Mr. A posted the names of those who had made the choir. About sixty kids crowded around the bulletin board hoping to see their name. There were only 25 spots available that year and they were split between sopranos, altos, tenor's baritone and bass. When Jeremy finally got to the board he first scanned the tenors list and was disappointed not to find his name. He almost started to leave and then thought "what the heck" and looked at the other sections. "Jeremy Thompson-freshman" was clearly typed on a line in the Baritone section. "Oh God!" Jeremy whispered as he put his finger on the paper trying to trace his name. "I made it!" he whispered and looked again. "I fucking made it" he thought as a smile spread over his face. He turned away and saw girls crying and other guy's faces as they realized they had not been chosen. He raised his shoulders a bit and walked away proud.

The next Monday Jeremy sat in math class thinking about his great luck. Chosen for the choir was quite an accomplishment for a freshman. He was really excited. Adam walked in and sat down in front of him as usual. It was then that Jeremy remembered that Adam had signed up for the tryouts as well. He hesitated to ask Adam how he had done worrying that he would be embarrassed if he hadn't been selected. He chose to say nothing. Fifth period rolled around and Jeremy nearly ran to the choir room. As he walked in he was handed a music folder and pointed to a chair in the Baritone section. He sat down and two minutes later Adam walked up the risers and sat down next to him. "Hey man, this is excellent!" Jeremy said with a grin as Adam put his music on the stand that they would both share. "I didn't know if you made it" Adam whispered as Mr. A sought to quiet the choir. "Yeah, no problem" Jeremy whispered back and shot Adam a wide grin. Twenty minutes later the choir was singing its first number and both boys were happier than they had ever been.

At fourteen years of age Jeremy was in that awkward time between being a hunky teen guy and being a little kid. He was a little clumsy in sports and wasn't really good enough to make the teams in a larger High School. So music, the school yearbook, drama club and stuff like that were his only choices for a school social life. When it came to dating and girls he was decidedly uninterested. Many nights after finishing his homework Jeremy would strip off his shirt and jeans, lock his bedroom door and lie back on his bed. Time and time again he thought about the kids at school and it never failed that Adam Sanders would appear. The blond hair, cute smile, lean body and great personality made the six inch cock in his boxers twitch. The more he thought about Adam the harder his cock became. He often closed his eyes and with his hand in his underpants he would slowly stroke his dick, form a picture of Adam and then imagine Adam's lips around his cock. He could almost feel the soft warm mouth, those cute lips, and the wet tongue working his cock and balls to orgasm. The fantasy would end the same way each night with Jeremy arching his back, grunting and spewing his hot sperm into his boxers. "Oh Fuck, Oh fuck" he muttered as his breathing would finally calm down. "Why is it always Adam?"

School went on week after week, and the nights were a replay week after week. As Jeremy and Adam shared the same music in choir they sat very close to one another. It wasn't long when within minutes of sitting down Jeremy would start to bone up. It was becoming difficult to concentrate. "How ya doin?" Adam whispered after about thirty minutes of singing. "Okay" Jeremy said with a little hesitation in his voice. "You're timing is way off today!" Adam whispered back looking deep into Jeremy's eyes. "Sorry" Jeremy stammered, "I'm a little spaced" he said as he looked down at the music once again. Adam took a quick look around the room and with a light touch brushed Jeremy's crotch. "Something that hard would make anybody lose concentration" Adam giggled. "What the fuck!" Jeremy whispered back. "Oh don't look surprised" Adam grinned, "You've been like that every day for the past three weeks". Jeremy groaned a little, "You saw me?" He said with surprise in his voice. "Fuck ya!" Adam giggled and gave a wicked little wink. They both heard the sound of the baton and it was back to work.

The bell finally rang and both boys put their music in the storage bin. "Want a coke?" Adam offered as Jeremy followed him out the door. "Sure, sounds good" Jere said as they both walked down the hall to the cafeteria. Finding a quiet corner with their drinks they sat for a moment before Adam finally spoke. "So do you like me? Or what?" Squirming in his chair Jeremy didn't know how to respond. "You're a guy!" Jeremy finally said, trying to judge what Adam was saying. "No shit" Adam giggled. "And you always bone up when you see me". Jeremy blushed and his face turned red. "I'm sorry man" He stammered. "I can't help it" he finally said and hung his head down. "It's cool" Adam said as he moved his hand against Jeremy's leg and touched his knee. "It's really, really cool" He said.

Jeremy turned and they looked into each other's eyes. "Oh Shit!" Jeremy whispered. "You feel it too?" Adam smiled softly, "Yeah". The realization that they both felt attracted to each other took a few minutes to sink in. "Do you like girls?" Jeremy finally asked. "I don't know" Adam said with a shrug. "Maybe, but I do know that I've been thinking more about you than them." The next class was about to start and neither boy wanted the moment to end. "I have to go" Jeremy finally said as he gathered up his books. He bent over and scribbled a number on a scrap of paper. "Call me tonight?" He asked handing the note to Adam. "love to!" Adam smiled and both guys stood for an awkward moment. It was as if they both wanted to say something else but it wasn't the time or the place. "I'll wait for your call then" Jeremy said as he headed for the door. "About nine" Adam said as he too headed for class. "What the hell just happened?" Jeremy said to himself as he headed down the hall. "Jesus H. Fucking Christ!" He smiled and his footsteps grew lighter.
