Garrosh's War (6) Unfamiliar Ally.......
...... Orin left his home behind. His dead family and friends. He had to. There was nothing there to rebuild, and no one to do so. There was just Orin. The lone survivor of the brutal attack on his village. Orcs, which now were his enemy caused all this death he left behind. The death of his Mother, sisters and father. There was only Orin. And now he follow in the heavy footsteps of the huge Ogre beast Garrosh. The large beast that had actually saved his life from the Orc that was upon him. This huge beast man that seemed to show at least the tiniest concern for him. Whether it was true or no, Orin would soon find out. And very soon indeed.
"I am tired Garrosh" He said after near a days journey. "Can we stop sir?" "Very well" The large creature said "We can eat something" "Then bed for the night" "But we must rise early and continue on"
Orin was glad there were stopping. His feet and back were aching from all the walking. That and the fact that he had not eaten at all since leaving his home was bringing him to exhaustion. The paused as Garrosh looked around for a place for them to hold up for the night.
"Stay here" He said "Yes sir" Orin answered back
The large man walked off and headed for a high ground of rocks some 100 or so yards from where he stood. He sat down and waited for the beast. Hoping that he would not leave him behind. He seemed in a rush to get somewhere. Orin found a tree and sat down next to it. he reached into his bag and pulled out some dried meat strips. he pulled one to his mouth and took a bite. Tasting something for the first time in at least 10 hours. He sighed as he sat there against the base of the tree.
"I do not know how I can avenge you my father" He said to the air "I am still young and inexperienced." "And Garrosh said I would easily fall to an Orc attack" "Please guide me father"
He began to cry again as the image of his father was cast across his minds eye. The beautiful man that he was. the way he felt and tasted. And it was something he would not have again. I looked up and he saw Garrosh up on the mount of rocks. he seemed to be surveying the area. He mentioned they needed a safe spot to stay.
"There are probably Orcs in the area" He had said
Orin looked at the beast on the rocks. He truly was a specimen on mass and muscle. Even from where he was sitting he could see the rippling musculature of the beast. He was in awe of it. And he was so taken with what he was looking at that he did not hear the noises near him. Until it was too late.
"Die!" came a yell behind him. "Huh. wha.." Orin started to say
But his words were cut off when he felt the large club hit him on the shoulder. Lucky for him he was pulling away as he saw the beast. Otherwise his should may have been shattered by the blow. But the hit was strong enough to knock him over. He fell hard to the ground. Then he looked up as the Orc that had attacked him moved in on him. It grabbed at his leg and yanked at him. Orin screamed and started to kick. His foot connecting with the beast even for it to release him. Then he crawled back on the ground. But pain struck as his shoulder gave. Then he dropped back to the ground in a heap.
"Noo!" He yelled "Leave me Orc" "I shall kill you human scum" The creature growled.
Then the Orc raised his arm to another blow with his club. It would come down and crush Orin's skull had there not been something to stop it. For as the Orc raised its arm for the fatal blow, Orin heard a whistling crack the air nearby. Then The Orc stopped his attack. He made a grumbled and gurgled sound as something had hit him. Then It fell over . Dropping the club it held. Orin kicked at the falling club as it fell at him. He then moved painfully away from the fallen Orc. That's when Garrosh rushed to the scene. In his hand was a bow. Then Orin turned to see the arrow that had pierced the Orcs head. So again Garrosh had saved his life. That was twice in one day.
"Are you alright" He said "I had seen the Orc coming and grabbed my bow" "Otherwise I would not get to you in time"
Orin grabbed at his shoulder. Pain tore through it now. He cried out from it. Garrosh came to his side and reached for him.
"Its my shoulder" Orin said "He struck me with his club" "It hurts"
Garrosh looked at the boys shoulder. He then grabbed his arm. Orin looked at him with some fear. Wondering what the beast planned
"Dislocation" Garrosh said "I can fix this" "But It will hurt"
Orin knew what the beast was suggesting. But he needed the pain to end. And he knew his shoulder needed a fix. And this would be the only way. So he nodded. Then gave Garrosh his arm. Garrosh gave him a leather strap. telling him to bite down on it. So he placed it in his mouth. He breathed in deeply. Then Garrosh tugged. The hard tug caused a cracking sound as Orins shoulder was realigned. But the searing pain of the move was too much . he bit down as he screamed. Garrosh had to cover his mouth as it was loud.
"Shhh!" He said to silence the boy "Where there is one Orc..."
Orin looked up at him. Eyes pleading from the pain. Tears streaming from them. He felt as he would pass out. Dizziness fell over him and Orin fell forward, And into Garrosh's arms. He passed out from the pain. Then all there was, was blackness. The scent of Garrosh staying in his nose as he feel into it.
"Oohh God!" his head yelped as he passed out
When Orin awoke again he was lying on a pelt of fur. There was warmth near him. he opened his eyes as he heard a crackling noise. Then the smell off something cooking on a fire. He looked up to see a flame a few feet from him. And sitting there to the right was Garrosh. He was eating something. Tearing into the cooked flesh of something with his sharp teeth. Orin gazed at the beast again. His huge body was odd colored in the fires light. Big meaty chest and arms flexing at the beast sat there. Then Orin caught a glimpsed between Garrosh's thighs. The covering was off and there was just the codpiece on his loins. And that codpiece was straining to hold what the beast had there. Orin's eyes widened as he looked at it. It was a massive lump of male equipment much larger than he had ever seen stuffed into a codpiece. He pondered how huge the beast was. Feeling a strange tingle in his loins.
"Ughhn. Blast" He groaned as he sat up "Ahh you are up. Good" Garrosh said "There is food here boy" "You must eat. Keep your strength"
That's when Orin looked up. The sky was dark. It was night time. What happened to the time?
"Huh. What time. How long was..." he started to say "Many hours boy" Garrosh said "The pain was just to much for you"
Orin looked around. He didn't not recognize where he was. He looked around and saw they were high up. Far off in the distance burned the fires of his village. An ache struck his heart as he remembered his father.
"How did I get here?" he asked "I carried you" Garrosh "I had to put you down a few times as There was another Orc some miles after we left the first one" "But stopped here sometime back." "I let you sleep as it would quell your pains"
Orin looked at the beast again. He was thankful for his aide. Twice he saved him from deaths clutches. Then he tried to sit up again, pulling at his arm. Then he realized it was in a makeshift sling.
"Did you do this?" He asked "Yes. It will keep you from undoing my work" "Thank you sir" "Garrosh" the beast said again "Thank you Garrosh" "YOu are welcome Orin"
He half smiled as he saw the beast move over and hand him a plate with some food on it. It was rabbit. And it was good. He could only use his on hand for now. But at least it was his good hand. He feasted on the food the beast had made. Then he drank some water the beast offered from his water bag.
"You loved you father" The beast then said "Huh?" Orin wondered "You were calling his name in slumber" "Many calls for him"
Orin dropped his head as he felt he may be over whelmed with emotion again. Then he felt his big hand on me again. Patting at his back. It seemed he was trying to console him in his grief. Then he rubbed at his back with his huge hand.
"I understand boy" He then said "The Orcs took my family as well"
He continued to rub at Orin's back. It felt soothing that this beast wanted to try and make me feel better. This beast of war as he seemed. And knowing that the Orcs had done him wrong as well made Orin feel a bit more comfortable with Garrosh. He still was not completely sure that the trust for him was there. But he seemed to stand guard as Orin slept. He could have left him there to that Orc. He could have left him as he slept. Or he could have kill Orin himself. But no, Garrosh had not. He stayed and protected him, saved him from attack. Two times now. So yes Orin was beginning to have trust in the beast. He reached for the beasts hand and grasped it, tightly. smiling at him as he looked upon the frightening beast sitting near him.
"Thank you again" He said to Garrosh "I would be dead now had you not helped me" "Well you are young and small" Garrosh said "Your father may have faired well against the Orcs" "But you are too young to fend off such beasts"
Orin was glad that the Ogre stated his father in a good way. He surmised that, yes, his father would have fought off many Orcs before falling to the horde. He was the strongest man in his village.
"Yes. He was a strong man, my father" Orin stated "He was teaching me to be a man.." "Ahh yes." Garrosh interrupted "The human preening to male hood" "We have such a ritual as well"
Garrosh breathed in and puffed out his huge chest. Then beat his big hand to his torso. The sound seemed to thunder in Orin's ears.
"Yess. Makes one a man" Garrosh said as he beat his chest "But I had just started my teachings" Orin then added "Just started when the attack happened"
Garrosh then brought his big hand down to Orins arm again. He squeezed it tightly in a gesture of kinship. Then he said that he would help finish what his father started. to help Orin grow into a man. So he may one day avenge his father and family.
"I will teach you then." the beast said "You will fight and kill your foe" "Then you will have vengeance on the Orc savages"
The beast then brought his hand back to his chest and beat it again. Orin smiled and he did the same. Struck his chest hard in a show of manhood. It did hurt though. But he did it nonetheless. He was glad that he had such a strong and powerful companion to help him. It was then that he felt he may indeed get retribution for his family's death. Fir the death of his friends, his village.
"THen let up begin my friend" He said to the beast. His unfamiliar ally.........
