Hello again. Okay, thanks to all of you who took the time to let us know what you think about the story so far. We have received some suggestions, and will consider using them at appropriate times within the story. Remember that this is not just a story of sex. There will be a place in the story for some rather, well, steamy sex; but, some of you may have to wait a little while until we get to that point.
This story involves sexual contact between adolescent males. If it is illegal or offensive to you to read this story, please proceed no further. I also wish to make it clear that this story is fiction, pure fantasy. Any resemblance to actual people or places is completely co- incidental.
Although this story will include a fair amount of sex, we are also trying to focus on self-awareness. Coming to grips with his sexuality is one of the hardest things for an adolescent boy. So, the first few chapters will contain mostly sexual activity that the main character fantasizes about.
We would like to take a moment to express our thanks to a couple people who contributed to this chapter. First, Justin from the #Niftyorg IRC Chat gave us some excellent suggestions, and We would also like to extend our thanks to Henry Higgins (Nevermore!) for editing this chapter.
Both of us would love to hear your feedback on this story. You can reach us at:

Chapter 2
From Last Time -
Andre sat down in at his desk chair and turned on his computer. He started Microsoft Word and wrote the following on the blank document that opened:
"What I want to talk to Mom about."
He began to write about his feelings. How at first they scared him, but now, after thinking about it a great deal he was okay with them. He wrote about how difficult it was for him to decide to tell his mom about his desires, but now, he felt he was ready.
He had no intentions of ever giving this note to his mother, but he had learned long ago that if he wrote down what he was going to say, he was better able to keep his train of thought when the time came to actually talk about it.
Finishing his exercise, he looked at the clock. It was then 7:30am and he knew his mom would be in the kitchen preparing breakfast. He decided that he would talk to her that afternoon instead of waiting until Sunday. And, he felt he was ready.
#
Andre came into the kitchen that morning, went over to his mother and gave her a kiss and hug. Sharon was a little taken aback by this because he had been so withdrawn and pensive the evening before. She hoped that he had worked out for himself whatever he had on his mind. The two sat down and consumed the meal that she had prepared.
Sharon couldn't help but notice that Andre actually appeared happier that morning than he had for several months. He almost seemed to be glowing.
Their discussion during breakfast was light. They talked about school for Andre and work for her. She never mentioned how he had acted during dinner.
At the end of the meal, Andre looked into his mother's eyes and told her that he was sorry for not being more talkative during the previous day's evening meal. He explained that he was working something out for himself. Sharon looked at her little boy with such pride. She told him that whenever he wanted to talk about it, she was available to him. All he would need to do is ask.
Andre contemplated just talking to his mother at that point, but decided he wanted to go up to his room and practice what he was going to say first. He responded to his mother by saying that he indeed wanted, no, needed to discuss something with her and asked if she could be available that afternoon for a very important talk.
Sharon again looked at her son with a new awareness. He was nearly 14 years old, but he seemed to be acting very mature. She supposed that she couldn't really think of him any longer as 'her little boy;', he was becoming a young man.
After breakfast, again Andre helped his mother to clear the table and do the dishes. He really enjoyed this time with her and it helped him to feel closer to her. It gave them something to do together. Once the kitchen duties were completed, Andre said to his mother that he would be up in his room preparing for their talk. He asked her to respect his privacy and not to disturb him if it was at all possible. Sharon agreed to leave him to whatever he was doing, saying she was going to go to the grocery store. He went up to his room.
A few minutes later, Sharon called to Andre that she was leaving and would be back in an hour or so. Andre opened the Word Document he had been working on and began to refine his thoughts. The time was 9:00.
He worked on his thoughts, revising things several times. At some point, he heard Sharon returning, calling out that she was home and would be in the living room. He just pressed on.
Before he knew it, he heard Sharon calling him for lunch. He looked at the clock and saw 12:30. He was amazed that he had been working on this for over three hours. He called back to his mother that he would be there in a minute, saved the file, and hit the print button. As the document was printing, he went to the kitchen to join his mother for lunch.
As lunch progressed, Andre started to become a little nervous. Inside, he was okay with the way he was, but nevertheless anxious about how his mother would take the news. He just didn't know how his mom would react and this scared him. She was always telling him that the most important thing to her was his happiness. He comforted himself with the fact that if he told her that this would make him happy with himself that she would probably be supportive.
After lunch and after taking care of their rituals in the kitchen, Andre turned to Sharon and asked if they could talk. The time had come. Sharon readily agreed and invited him into the living room. As he was entering the room, Andre remembered the outline he had printed, excused himself to go get it, and then returned to the living room. Sharon was seated on the couch.
Andre took a seat opposite his mother in an armchair. He set his notes on the coffee table so he could refer to them, steeled his nerve and began.
"Mom, I have something I need to talk to you about; but before I start, I need you to promise me something."
Sharon replied that she would.
"I need you to listen to everything I have to say, before you say or do anything. Could you do that?"
Sharon looked at her son, noting that he was apprehensive. She tried to give him a look that conveyed her love for him as she told him that she would respect his request.
"Well... Mom... This isn't an easy thing for me to say, but, for the past year or so I've been having these feelings. At first, I didn't understand them, but as time went on, they became stronger, and I became more sure of what they mean. I've been wrestling with them for a while and now, I think I have become comfortable with them."
He continued, his voice a bit trembling, "I know I'm different than most of the boys in school. I never talk about friends, because I really don't have any. Don't worry, it's not because I'm anti-social or anything, but I'm afraid to get close to anyone. I'm afraid because if I let someone get too close, they'll discover my secret. Mom, I think I'm gay."
Sharon heard her son's pronouncement and decided to keep her tongue. She had agreed to allow her son to complete what he had to say without interruption, and she meant to keep her promise.
Seeing her mother struggle not to say anything, Andre paused. Moments later he saw her resolve to abide by his wishes and continued.
"I have been getting these desires. I guess you could call them crushes on boys in school. When I look at the girls, well, they're nice, but they don't give me the same feelings. When I... Um... Take care of myself, its one or anther boy in school that I think about-- that I picture in my mind."
"I hope I haven't disappointed you or hurt you, but I can't help what I feel."
Sharon looked at her son, and a single tear fell from her eye.
Andre felt he needed to let his mother react so he continued, "I have more to tell you, but I want to know what you are thinking about all this."
Sharon seized her opportunity. "Sweetheart, you don't know how proud you have made me. I love you. It honors me that you felt you could trust me enough to talk about something that is obviously very difficult for you. As far as your sexuality is concerned, I think I've suspected it for almost as long as you have been having these feelings. You became more withdrawn. The friends you used to hang around with didn't come over anymore. I guess what I'm trying to say is, that I'm okay with you being gay. I'm concerned, but I trust you enough to allow you to explore your own feelings. I hope that you will trust me enough to discuss them with me or to ask questions. If I don't know the answers, I'll either try to find them out or direct you to someone who can answer them."
Andre felt so relieved, he was happy he could now lower his guard. He had told her and she was okay with it. Trying to hold back tears of joy, he decided to continue.
"Mom," Andre said fought with his desire to begin to cry. "I was worried you would freak or something when I told you. I'm sorry for not trusting you sooner, but I just wasn't ready. You know about the assembly we had at school yesterday about which High School we wanted to attend. They talked about a couple that sounded interesting to me. One in particular kind of gave me the courage to talk to you about this. There's a school for kids like me. A school for gay boys. I want to go there next year."
Andre showed Sharon the brochures and information booklet he had picked up at the assembly. They discussed it at length and finally, Sharon turned to Andre and said:
"Andre, you've taken a very big step today. One that will affect the rest of your life. By going to this school, everyone will know that you're gay. Are you sure you're ready for that?"
Andre thought about it for a moment. Finally, he turned to Sharon and told her that he thought he was okay with that. He told her that she had always said that he should be proud of who he was and that meant to him that if he was a gay boy, then it wouldn't be fair to anyone for him to hide it.
Sharon again looked at her son with pride. He was growing up and she was very pleased with the man he was becoming. She asked him if he had the application for the school.
"I have it right here, Mom. But there's an interview that I need to have before they'll accept me."
Sharon took the application and asked Andre to sit beside her on the couch. They filled out the application together, and when it was completed, Sharon signed it. She told Andre that she would call the school on Monday to schedule his interview.
Andre kissed and hugged his mother and then the emotion of the moment overcame him and be began to weep. Sharon held her son and shed her own tears, tears of pride and joy.
(to be continued)
Well, Andre came out to his mother and she was perfectly fine with it. It would be nice if it were that easy for all boys going through the same turmoil; but as we all know, that's not reality. Maybe, sometime in the future things will be different; but, until then, if you know of someone who is dealing with similar problems, do your best to be there and be a friend. Help them if you can.
We will have the next chapter out in a few days. If you want to send email, please be sure to send it to both of us.
We look forward to hearing from all of you.
