They landed on Earth. God has sent them to bring joy to it. The two of them were his best angels, from the glorious army of heaven angels.
As they came to Earth, they realized that they landed at the wrong place, some cold, dead valley, without a single sign of a human. They looked at each others. Usually, angels don't have gender, but God has made them special just for that little detail. They were the only women angels that existed...
They felt cold, so they made themselves a nice tent, made of branches and leaves. They got in their little home, and layed down to rest.
People say God is omniscient, but they don't know just how wrong they are...
No, God doesn't know everything... Not even about his own creations. Not about his very own angels. The Mighty God didn't know that the angels he sent to Earth had a very special bond between them. They were more than partners in work... They were more than friends, acctually... They were lovers...
As they accomodated in their tent, they started thinking about what to do...
They signed for this mission, because they knew they will have a chance to be alone at least. Many millions years ago, God has made love between angels - forbidden. They had to concentrate on work, he said...
So, Celytra and Minorys were alone at least, far away from home, wondering what are they supposed to do.
Celytra layed down besides her love, and watched her... Angels usually don't use words to comunicate with each others, but the two of them wanted to give importance to what they think so they always spoke...
She looked at her long dark hair, falling down her shoulders, and her neck, that looked like a silver gulf, shining in the moonlight... Her eyes moved down a little bit, and she saw her love's chest, like two twin hills, that give life to so many...
Minorys looked back to her, and her usually dark blue eyes turned to violet, which ment she was happy...
"Celytra" said she "we were waiting for this night for hundreds of years, honey. And I really want to do it..."
"I know, and I want to do it to. I'm just nervous..." answered Celytra.
"It's OK, sweetheart, I don't know what to do, either. And plus, if He finds out..."
"Just don't mention Him, now...I just want to love you tonight." said Minorys as she moved closer to her lover...
She kissed her lips as gentle as she could, and hugged her as protecting as she could...
They made love as no humen ever had, and as no human ever will... Screams of joy broke the silence of an winter night, and wild animals got out of their holes to see what produced that scream...
The cool night chilled their bodies on fire, as they layed down, one by another, still hugged, still feeling mixed juices stream between them, still looking in each other's eyes thinking about what had just happened...
"It finally came" said Minorys...
"Yeah...It was the best expirience that ever happened to me!" answered Minorys. "But if our Father finds out, you know that we will have to be punished for this..."
"I know... And I think I won't be sorry at all... It's not a sin to die for love..." answered Celytra.
"Yeah...Just when I look at you. Your eyes, like the deep green water in the Life River, your mouth like a well filled with pearls, your body like a Simphony of Love played by the Heaven's orchestra, and when you kiss me, it's like you have moved the Worlds...No, it's not a sin to die for love..." confirmed Mynoris.
"Don't talk about Death when I feel so alive...please..."
"You're right! We should get some rest... Tomorrow will be hard..."
And they fell asleep, feeling pleased and loved...
It was still dark outside. Celytra woke up first. She found themselves still embraced, like they are one...
She gently kissed Mynoris's lips, and she woked up...
"Hey..." murmured Mynoris "You're not such a bad picture to see when I wake up, but why did you wake me, anyway?"
"Come, angel! I want to show you something."
"What? Now?"
"Sorry, this can't wait!" said Celytra as she took Mynorises hand and led her out of tent.
They came out and they looked around.
"What is it?" asked Mynoris.
"It's not the time yet..." answered Celytra.
"OK, but I'm little bit cold..."
"Oh, we can fix that!" said Celytra and she put her arm around Mynoris to keep her warm. Mynoris did the same thing with Celytra...
"Look at the sky, Mynoris! It's starting! Look!" shouted Celytra.
Mynoris looked up there, and she was fascinated by millions of stars falling from sky... They never saw stars from heaven...
"It's....indescribable!" whispered she.
"Make a wish!" said Celytra with a whisper.
"Every single one of these stars is one forbbiden love that is in this world! I wish they all can love without any secrets!" and with that, one of the stars shined like a fire in the sky, and it lightened the place they were at.
"Thank you...for everything...everything you've done for me!" said Mynoris.
"I love you, angel..." answered Celytra.
"I love you, too, my dear..." replyed Mynoris.
Next day they were frightened when they woke up. Another angel came with a message that God is calling them to come back to heaven right now. That could only mean that He found out. That way, thay had to die at the time when the sun rises next day. But they knew that they had to obey his command. So they spread they wings and flew away.
Walking down the long white hall, to His chambers, they didn't feel scared. They had each others. Every pair of eyes in His chamber was on them.
"Sinners!" whispered some of them.
"Mortals!" whispered the others.
"Strange!" said Celytra "I thought we were just two people in love."
"You who have not obeyed My command, written by Mighty Me, more than 3 millions years ago, how dare you enter My chambers looking straight? How dare you keeping your head up, and not down, how dare you look to my eyes?" attacked the God.
"We have no reason not to look you in the eyes!" answered Mynoris.
"Does that mean that you don't feel guilty?" asked God furiously.
"We don't find ourselves guilty!" replyed Celytra.
"I am the creator of Universe, of Worlds, of everything that exists. I am ready to save your lives, if you promise that you will stop loving!" suggested God.
"Ha! Not we, and not you, doesn't matter how powerful you are, you cannot control Love..."
"Then, if you don't accept, I will punish you for your sins! You will have to die!"
"We know that! But remember one thing, Father... You can kill us, but you can never kill our Love. It is something nobody can control. And I must see that you never met the real Love. That is, by now..."
"Very well... With the first sign of dawn, your hearts will be taken away from you... You will not love, not anymore... With this I won't kill you"
"You surely know by now, that by taking our hearts, you are taking our soul, and Angels cannot live without their soul... Yes, Father, You know that You will kill us..."
"ENOUGH!! Take them to cell..." finished God "If you feel sorry, I will let you live!"
"We cannot feel guilty for we loved. Love is not a sin!" replyed the two.
"As you wish!"
With the very first signs of dawn, two angels stood on The Field.
They stood, side by side...
"Don't be afraid..." said Celytra with a smile.
"I'm not afraid for as long as I am with you." answered Mynoris.
The hangman took his long blade, and told them to stand up. They stood up. The God asked:
"You have the last wish, sinners?"
"Yes we have. We want to die in a kiss."
"It will be as you wish."
"Alright, we are ready. Aren't we, Angel?" said Celytra with a smile.
"Yes, we can do this..."
They held each other and joined their lips together, in a loving, deadly kiss.
The hangman came closer to them, and raised his deadly blade over their heads. Then he stabbed it right trought one's and then the other's heart...
Scream, blood, horror...
They stood there... Crowd shouted "Kill 'em, kill 'em!"
They stood there, side by side, hand in hand, pain by pain...
With the last atoms of strenght, they looked at each others, smiled a weak smile and repeated in unison: "I'm not sorry, I'm not sorry...I'm not..."
Such an irony... Sun was rising, colouring the sky in redish colour... Birth of a new day!
Blood was flowing, killing two angels, finishing their lives...
Centuries passed...
In an lonely meadow, in the end of the World, two lovers sat and talked.
"My grandmother told me a legend once... She said that once upon a time, Love between same sexes was forbidden. If one broke that rule, one had to die. Can you imagine that? And just how many people died because of that stupid rule. It's really sad..." said Justin.
"Sad... Who made that rule?" asked Lawrence.
"She told me that they got that rule from God, and that he foreboded love between angels too."
"So how come we can love each others now?"
"The legend says that two female angels died because they broke the rule and their wish was to delete that rule. And God had to obey."
"That's so noble. Do you believe in that legend?"
"Nah... I mean, angels? I don't think so."
"Me too. It's a nice story, but I don't think that something like that could happen. Nah..."
And they hugged, watching the stars...
