Owain and David arrived back at the dorms. This part of the old school has recently undergone a huge change, gone are the rooms with six or eight beds, these have now been replaced with one main dorm room with around six separate one bed rooms off it.
Green dorm is the name of the dorm which Owain and David live in, this one is one of the smaller dorms with just five rooms off. Owain's room was the first one you hit after leaving the main room. The main room has seating and a large widescreen TV for the lads to watch.

"Well actually it's much more than that; the current dining halls will become redundant as there will be a new restaurant complete with seating for all 530 pupils and 70 staff in one room. So we will be closing on the 15th December and reopening on 3rd January. As you can imagine this may cause a few problems particularly with our overseas pupils" Grainger told him.
"Right, but what do you want me to do?" Josh asked.
"Well I was hoping you could maybe help us coordinated this nightmare"
"What about taking the pupils who can't go home away to one of our outlying facilities?"
"Well had it been any other time of year that would have been a good idea Matthews, but trying to get people to give up their Christmas holidays would be hard"
"Well I hadn't planned on going home for Christmas, I was planning on volunteering to stay here, so maybe I can organise a trip Headmaster."
"Right Matthews, but it will need more than just one teacher to organise it, and which facility are we going to use?"
"What about Aston House? Maybe we could use that over Christmas"
"Yes, that would be a good idea. OK let's see how many pupils are going to be affected, and how many teachers will volunteer."
Josh spoke to the teachers first and three other teachers said that they would help if needs be.
In the end there were just 25 pupils that weren't able to go home over Christmas so Aston house was sorted for the Christmas party.
Josh, James, Andrew and another younger teacher, history master Gary Burchfield volunteered.
The end of the Christmas term finally came and Joshua Matthews and fellow teacher James Reynolds were looking forward to spending Christmas together at the schools out-reach centre based at Aston house. Joshua and James had been pursuing a relationship since first meeting at the start of the school year.
Also attending the trip were recently appointed teacher Andrew Parker, and history master Gary Burchfield.
The coach arrived to take the 25 pupils and 4 teachers on the short journey to Aston house. Aston house was originally a boarding school until it closed after the company that owned it merged with Benedict park school. Benedict had kept the site and used it as an out-reach centre and outdoor pursuits centre.
Josh remembered going there when he was at Benedict Park to play a soccer match against Aston house school. It was a formidable place with its old Edwardian building making up the main buildings.
Josh walked into the reception and realised that this place hadn't changed in all the years and was taken aback at its original features. One thing that was different was that now it said welcome to Benedict park school out-reach centre and not Aston house. Josh was surprised at the sheer size of the Christmas tree that was standing in the hallway next to the splendid staircase.
The pupils were soon settled in and the catering staff soon had their lunch on the tables.
The Christmas holidays were soon over and Josh hadn't had much free time to spend with James so both men had decided that when they get back to Benedict that they were going to ask Grainger if they could move into the apartment together. Grainger was already aware that the two men were a couple but Josh wasn't sure he would allow them to co habit together at the school.
Josh and his party arrived at the school and were surprised at the new prefabricated building which had appeared next to the old building the boys were going wow as the coach stopped. Josh was met by Ms Dexter who said "Hi Mr Matthews, how was your Christmas?"
"Well it wasn't that bad really" Josh said smiling. "I like the new restaurant it looks very nice"
"Yes it is nice, but sadly not quite ready, so we have to use the old dining rooms tonight. But the builders promise it will be finished tomorrow so we can have the grand opening before the main group of boys get back" Ms Dexter informed Josh.
"Is Mr Grainger here or is he still away?"
"Mr Grainger is in his office why do you ask?"
"I need to ask him something that's all" Josh replied, looking at James and smiling
Josh went to the headmasters office and nervously knocked on the door
Grainger answered "Enter"
Josh walked in and Grainger said "Ahh, Matthews I take it the Christmas party is back then?"
"Yes sir we just got back" Josh replied
"So what can I do for you" Grainger asked
"Well sir umm I don't know if you know that myself and Reynolds are currently seeing each other, umm, well, we realised over Christmas that with both our busy lives with school duties etc we don't get to see each other enough and we were wondering if it would be alright for me to move into Reynolds's apartments?"
Grainger smiled and said "Well, first of all I am aware that Reynolds and you were an "item" and I must say you have been very discreet about it. I have no objections about you moving into Reynolds's apartment on one condition, and that is that as far as the pupils and other staff are concerned you are sleeping in the spare room at the apartment"
"Thank you sir and I will make sure when I move my stuff in I will put it into the spare room sir" Josh said smiling
"You are welcome young man. Benedict park is a forward looking employer and I have no objections to same sex relationships providing you are discreet"
"Well I think James and I have proved we can be discreet Sir."
"Yes you have" Grainger said
"Well thank you Sir, I'd better get packing"
Josh left the room smiling and saw James talking to some of the builders. Josh walked up and said "Excuse me Mr Reynolds can I have a word please?"
"Sure you can Mr Matthews" James said smiling
"Grainger said I can move in so I suggest you go to your room to pack, I'll be around soon"
"Cool" James said
"Yeah I'm going to get my stuff packed see you in around an hour. OK babes?"
Josh walked back to the apartment thinking that this was going to be the best night he had had at Benedict Park since he came back.
