This is pure fiction. No one in this story is a real person, living or deceased. Any similarities is just a coincidence. ___________________________________________________________________________
Ivan stared at himself in the mirror feeling self-conscious. He was wearing a black button-down shirt that wrapped his body tightly and a pair of straight cut dark jeans. He really didn't want to wear the shirt but at the last party he went to with Jesse, most of the guys wore really tight shirts. Ivan thought about how Michael would react if he'd see this outfit. He would probably look at him and laugh.
Ivan was diverted from his thoughts by his door opening. He looked and saw that it was Jesse. "Knock, knock." Jesse said as he entered the room.
"When I said to you earlier to knock, I meant actually knocking on the door, not just saying the words `knock, knock' as you enter." Ivan scolded Jesse as he looked at himself again in the mirror. He still wasn't sure about his whole look.
When Jesse didn't say anything back to him, Ivan pried his eyes away from his reflection to look at Jesse who was just standing near the open door, staring at him.
Ivan rolled his eyes. "What now, Jesse?"
Jesse blinked. "You look..."
Ivan felt a surge of panic. "I knew it. I look stupid." He rushed to his closet on the right of the mirror and started through his clothes again.
"No, you dork!" Jesse came over beside him. "You look hot actually." He admitted.
Ivan was taken aback. "Really?" He asked.
Jesse nodded saying, "But not as hot as me of course." He grinned and Ivan chuckled.
Ivan went back to the mirror to look at himself again. "Do I really look okay?"
Jesse went beside him and put his arm over Ivan's shoulder. Ivan looked at his reflection then at Jesse's. Jesse was wearing a red shirt and a pair of skinny jeans.
"Yes. You look gorgeous." Jesse said sincerely. "Now let's go." He said when he saw Ivan smile with satisfaction.
Once they were on the road, Jesse felt like he had to ask Ivan the question, "Ivan, why do you want to go to this party so badly?"
"I already told you. I want to have fun for a change." Ivan said plainly.
Jesse decided to not pursue the subject any longer and just concentrated on the road.
After going back to Alex's house to bring her mother some take-out for lunch, Michael and Alex were spending the rest of the day together. They had just watched a movie and were walking out of the theater holding hands.
"That was actually good." Alex said, talking about the movie.
Michael just thought it was okay but thought it best to agree with her. "Yeah. It was good." He said.
Alex was enjoying the moment as they walked around the town in silence. She couldn't believe she was now with Michael. She had had feelings for him as long as she could remember and now here they were, spending the day together holding hands.
"Where to now?" Michael asked her.
"Dinner. I'm starving!" She chuckled.
Michael told her that he was getting hungry too and asked where she wanted to eat. After discussing their restaurant choices, they headed to the Olive Garden.
Ivan and Jesse had just arrived at the party. Again, it was in the nearby town where Ivan had gone to the first party with Jesse but this time it was in a different house— a much bigger one.
Before they walked towards the house, Jesse stopped Ivan to talk to him about the party. If Ivan was really planning to `have fun' like he had been saying, Jesse decided he needed to talk to him.
"First of all, I plan to have fun tonight too, meaning no one will be able to drive the two of us home. We will leave tomorrow early in the morning. Is that cool?" Jesse asked Ivan.
"Yeah." Ivan answered.
"Most of the guys here are the ones from the party that we went to together the last time so you'll see some familiar faces. And dude don't forget, you're name is Ivan and you're a math major." Jesse said. Ivan just nodded.
"Okay." Jesse said as he looked around. He gestured for Ivan to lean closer to him with a serious look on his face before he continued speaking in a whisper. "Now if anyone offers you a drink or something to eat just out of the blue, politely say no. And if you feel like something isn't right or you start feeling weird and all, leave the room or call me right away. Got it?" He looked seriously at Ivan expecting an answer.
"Yes." Ivan replied. Jesse's serious face made him nervous but he didn't let it show.
Despite it being a different house from the last party, Ivan realized the atmosphere was the same. It looked like the party had been in full swing for a couple hours already and guys were everywhere, in groups or by twos.
Jesse looked around for familiar faces and when he looked back to his side to talk to Ivan, he was gone. He found him walking towards the other side of the room. Jesse tried to catch Ivan and grabbed his arm.
Ivan turned around. After seeing it was Jesse, he said, "Hey."
"Are you sure you're going to be okay?" he asked.
Ivan chuckled upon hearing his question. "Lighten up, will you Jesse?"
Great, Jesse thought. Now their roles are reversed. Before he could say anything else to Ivan, he was already gone from the room.
Ivan hurried away from Jesse. He didn't like Jesse worrying about him. It was making him more nervous than he already was. He couldn't afford To be nervous. He wanted this. He needed this. And besides, Ivan already knew how to calm his nerves.
Ivan approached a guy he remembered from the last party. He hadn't really talked to the guy so he didn't know his name but Ivan greeted with a smile, "Hey."
"Hey." The guy greeted back although not as brightly. It seemed like he probably didn't even remember Ivan.
"Where's the beer?" Ivan asked.
"There's a keg in the kitchen and another one in the backyard. And I think there are also cold bottles in the tub in the bathroom down the hall." The guy answered absent mindedly as he stared off to another direction. Ivan followed his gaze and saw that the guy was looking at another guy.
Not wanting to bother the guy, Ivan thanked him and decided he wanted a cold bottle so he headed towards the bathroom. Along the way, some guys greeted him with a smile and some said hi. They also were the ones he had seen at the first party with Jesse.
Since the bathroom was slightly open, he didn't knock but went right in. He was surprised to see the dark guy who had talked to him during the earlier party taking a piss in the toilet. Fortunately, the guy's back was to Ivan so it wasn't that awkward.
The guy looked over his shoulder and saw Ivan. "Hey there." Ivan was immediately reminded of the guy's baritone voice.
"Uh, hi. Sorry." Ivan tried not to stammer. "I was just, uhm, just wanted to grab—"
The guy turned around with his fly still open and his cock still exposed. "Grab this?" The guy took hold of his own dark cock which started getting hard.
"Some beer!" Ivan was surprised by the loudness of his voice. "I just came here to grab some beer." Ivan chuckled nervously.
The guy smiled wickedly. "Well, grab ahead." He said, still not zipping up his pants.
Ivan quickly went to the tub and grabbed a bottle of beer and immediately left the room, blushing. He could feel his heart beating faster and harder in his chest. He went to the kitchen for a bottle opener and opened the beer. He took a swig and tried to even out his breathing. He took a few more gulps of beer and tried to feel if it was already taking effect. When he realized he was still nervous, he took a few more swigs and before he knew it, he had emptied the bottle.
Ivan stared at the bottle and noticed that he was starting to feel more relaxed. He smiled to himself. "I need more beer." He spotted the keg on the table in the middle of the room and headed for it. He took a paper cup from the stack of cups beside the keg and filled it with beer.
"You can have mine if you want." Ivan looked beside him and saw the cute guy who had made the offer. The guy smiled at him as he held out his cup.
Ivan remembered Jesse's warning about not taking any drinks or food. "No thanks." He said and left the room. Once again, Ivan found himself smiling. Even though he had just finished a bottle of beer, he had still managed to control the situation at the kitchen. He was proud of himself. He slowly sipped from the plastic cup which caused the foam to stick above his lips. He passed by a mirror and snickered at his reflection before wiping the foam from his face.
Ivan blinked as he enjoyed what he was feeling. It was a new form of being relaxed. He had never felt like that before. He finished the cup and went back to the kitchen for a refill. Going to the party was really a good idea, Ivan thought.
Ivan then realized that he was just walking around the place. That wasn't fun at all. He needed fun. He remembered from the last party that the living room seemed to be the place filled with most people so he paid that part of the house a visit. As he thought it would be, the living room was packed. It served as a dark dance floor, complete with disco lights.
"Hey." A stranger came up behind him and whispered to his ear. "Wanna get outta here?" Ivan could feel the erection pressing against his back. Ivan pushed back a little and giggled.
"Come on." The guy urged.
Ivan turned around to face the guy. He was good looking but Ivan politely said no.
The music in the room suddenly stopped and was followed shortly after by an upbeat trance mix. Ivan didn't know what came over him but he could feel himself moving along to the music. He started by swaying his body left to right with his hands above his head. He looked around him and everyone else was just like him—lost in the music. He closed his eyes and let the music flow into his ears, his heart started beating to the tune of the bass. He let himself just dance, not caring about anything else in the world, even the two guys dancing closely in front and behind him. At first the two guys mildly brushed on Ivan but now they were surely rubbing against him.
Ivan started gyrating his hips. He felt hands on his waist and when he opened his eyes the guy in front of him and behind him were gyrating their hips with him. The three of them moved as one. Ivan was well aware of the erection growing against his butt, causing him to be aroused as well. He thought about it for a moment but decided to put his hands on the hips of the young man in front of him. Ivan was surprised when he felt his hand being pulled towards the front of the guy and a few seconds later, he was already holding the guy's hard cock. Even though his mind was still coherent, his body acted differently. He wanted to get out between the two guys but his body did otherwise. It just stayed there, completely hypnotized by the music.
"Excuse me boys. That one's already taken." Ivan looked to his left to see Jesse looking at the guys. The two raised their hands and walked away. Ivan didn't stop dancing.
"Looks like you're already having you're fun." Jesse said.
"Yeah." Ivan said excitedly.
"Mind if I join you?" Jesse asked and started dancing on his own. Ivan grinned and nodded.
Jesse maintained a close distance as he danced with Ivan but not as close as the two guys that had danced with.
"What did you say about me being taken?" Ivan asked.
Jesse chuckled. "That's the only way to get rid of them. And trust me, sometimes that doesn't even work."
Ivan laughed and let the music take over him again. He didn't know how many minutes passed but Ivan felt like he was already sweating all over. He excused himself from Jesse and went back to the tub to grab a cold bottle of beer. This time the bathroom was empty. After taking his beer, he decided to go to the backyard to get some fresh air. On his way through the kitchen after taking a swig of beer, he realized he was hungry. He first looked at the refrigerator but then saw a couple of guys eating from a tray of brownies on the counter. He went towards them.
"Hey you guys, can I have some? I'm starving!" Ivan said.
The guys answered in the affirmative so Ivan started digging in with his fingers like the rest of them. The brownies were so delicious. They were so moist and just had the right amount of chocolate taste and saltiness. Ivan couldn't get enough and neither could the others. All of them groaned disappointedly when they saw that they had eaten the whole trayful but one guy opened the oven and took out two more trays. The group cheered, including Ivan.
Jesse didn't see Ivan again for about an hour. Then Ivan was back in the living room dancing but this time he was laughing and giggling really loudly with some guys.
"Hey." Jesse said as he grabbed Ivan's arm.
"Oh, hey Jesse!" Ivan chirped. "Guys this is my good friend Jesse. He brought me to this party!" Ivan's new friends cheered.
Jesse laughed as he looked at them strangely. He had a bad feeling about Ivan with the others. "You need to come with me."
Ivan danced giddily as he listened to Jesse. "Why? I'm dancing Jesse." He said in a whiny voice.
"I have something to show you." He tried to pique Ivan's curiosity by sounding mysterious.
Ivan groaned. "Can't it wait until later?"
"Now, Ivan." Jesse said seriously.
"Ooooh. Jesse's mad." Ivan said and then sang the sentence in tune to the dance song playing. "Jesse's mad! Jesse's mad." He danced to his own song.
"Oh for fuck's sake." Jesse grabbed Ivan's arm and dragged him upstairs to a room.
"I always knew you'd like it a little rough." Ivan said, slurring.
Jesse was completely taken aback by Ivan's new character. "Just tell me how much did you drink." He inquired.
Ivan looked up to the ceiling as he tried to recall. "Hmmm... Two bottles of beer and ahm, four cups from the keg." Ivan giggled at the end of the sentence.
Jesse tried to rationalize the situation. "Okay. Did you remember putting anything else in your mouth?" He asked.
That gained a laugh from Ivan. "Oh yeah! I had three cocks already." Ivan replied. When he saw the mortified look on Jesse's face, he laughed harder.
Realizing that Ivan wasn't taking him seriously, Jesse held his face firmly and looked into his eyes. "Ivan, what else did you take?"
"Nothing." He answered and then chuckled. "I did have some of those Awesome brownies though. They are so good and you know what's really fun about them Jesse? The more I ate the hungrier I got! Isn't that funny?" Ivan started giggling uncontrollably.
"Weed." Jesse whispered to himself, letting go of Ivan's face.
Ivan put his hands on Jesse's shoulder. "No, no. Jesse. Brownies. I was talking about brownies." Ivan laughed. "You are so drunk."
Jesse was amused by Ivan but at the same time it worried him. He decided to try and talk to him alone until the weed wore off. He couldn't take him home like that. "How many of those brownies did you take?"
"I don't know, a tray?" Ivan answered. Jesse looked at him strangely. "What? It was good!" He tried to justify himself.
Jesse suddenly felt he needed to empty his bladder. Fortunately, the room had its own bathroom. He didn't have to leave Ivan alone. He led Ivan to the bed and told him to stay there while he took a piss. Jesse entered the bathroom and let the stream going without even closing the door. Jesse shuddered slightly as he released the urine from his body. He smiled at the relief it had given him and shook himself. Then, he heard the door of the room close. He quickly tucked himself and rushed back to the room. Ivan was gone.
He searched all of the rooms on the second floor but Ivan wasn't in any of them. He had to apologize to some of the couples he found having sex while some offered him to join them.
After going around the house, he finally found Ivan at the back porch. He was leaning on the wall, his eyes closed, with a guy kissing his neck.
"Whoa. Hey, dude." Jesse said as he approached the two but neither of them acknowledged his presence. "Ivan!" He called.
Ivan's eyes opened and he smirked when he saw Jesse. "Hey Jesse." The other guy stopped kissing Ivan and looked at Jesse.
"Dude, do you mind?" Jesse asked the guy. The guy however, didn't move.
"He's my boyfriend." He said firmly but the guy still didn't budge.
Ivan looked at Jesse's serious face. "Go. I'll just call you later." The guy nodded and left the two of them alone.
"What the hell was that?" Jesse asked. He was mad at Ivan for acting this way.
Ivan looked at him angrily. "Sorry Dad but I told you, I came here to have fun."
"I was thinking more like drunk' fun not high and hook up' fun. What the hell Ivan? This is not who you are." Jesse said. Even though he was trying to understand Ivan's situation, this was just on a whole another level.
Ivan looked at him and then laughed. "What are you now, my image consultant?" Ivan took his cellphone out from his pocket. "Now I'm gonna call that hottie you tried to chase away..."
"No you won't." Jesse said and grabbed Ivan's phone. "This has got to stop. We're going home." Jesse looked through the phonebook and found the number he was searching for. He made the call, explained the situation and told the person where they were.
"Who did you call?" Ivan asked.
"Michael. He's already on his way." Jesse told him the truth.
Ivan got mad. "Jesse, you have no right to call him!" He said harshly.
"Yeah? Well you didn't give me a choice. I need to get you out of this place and I don't want me to get caught driving under the influence." He explained.
"You should have called someone else. You should have called Jean!" Ivan said defiantly.
Jesse laughed incredulously. "And tell her what? Ivan just got all high and drunk and I wanted to get him home right away. And did I mention the creepy guy he was trying to hook up with?"
"I just wanted to have a little fun, okay?!" Ivan shouted.
Jesse ran out of patience. "Enough about that little fun of yours Ivan! You Want to call it that? Fine! But I'm calling it what it really is and it is just a Pathetic way to numb the pain you're feeling!" Jesse shouted back to Ivan. "How's that one going by the way?" Jesse asked sarcastically.
Ivan grew quiet. "You know for a really smart person, you make some pretty dumb decisions Ivan." Jesse said in a lower voice.
Jesse could hear Ivan sniffling and when he looked at him, he could see tears in his face. "But it just hurts so bad." Ivan tried to explain. "These images of Michael and Alex happy together just won't go away."
Jesse sighed. "I know but tell me the truth, did it help you, any of it?" He asked.
Ivan shook his head as he tried to wipe away his tears.
"You did kill it on the dance floor earlier though." Jesse said with a smile.
"Really?" Ivan asked.
"Yeah. Every single guy in the room just wanted to jump on your bones and do you right there." Jesse chuckled.
Ivan somewhat unsteadily made his way to Jesse and rested his head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry." He apologized sincerely.
"It's okay." Jesse said softly. "The hangover tomorrow will pretty much be your punishment anyway." He chuckled when he heard a groan from Ivan.
Jesse told Ivan that they should wait for Michael at the front porch so they did. They sat down on the steps and again Ivan rested his head on Jesse's shoulder. When Jesse looked at him, Ivan was already fast asleep.
