If You Only Knew Part 2 BY Jessica Disclaimer: I'm not implying that I know them or know that they are gay by this work of Fiction.
Valentine's day had came and went as quickly as Lance had read his life-changing letter. He couldn't even begin to sort out his feelings at this point. He didn't know what any of this meant.
At first, he was, well, shocked. He couldn't even decide where to turn. If this was a genuine letter from someone who genuinely loved him. Then it meant what he thought it meant. How was he going to face his bandmates, now? Someone was, either, playing a really cruel joke on him or someone was really in love with him..... but which?
The only person he could rule out was Chris. He didn't even have a "j" in his entire name. But, even knowing that, it didn't narrow the field much. This could only mean one thing, Chris, the goof-ball teenager-wannabe crazed nut, the one he least wanted to express his feelings to, was the only one he could confide in. He really had no choice in the matter.
Lance decided that he would wait a while before he let Chris in on the mysterious admirer. It would also give him time to sort out his thoughts and to think about all of this a little more.
But Time had other plans. It wasn't going to let Lance get much thinking or sorting out accomplished before another twist was left at his door step.
There was a loud knock on his door that caused Lance to jump.
"Coming," He shouted.
By the time Lance had the door opened, the visitor was gone. Instead there was two roses, one pink, one read, tied together with a beautiful white ribbon. Next to them lay a small package wrapped in a heart print paper. It had a tiny tag and simply written on it was "My Love".
Lance felt his stomach flip. This was all the proof he needed to prove that this was a lot more serious than he expected.
He picked up the heartfelt gifts. He tenderly carried them inside and laid them down on his bed. Lance could do nothing more than stair at them while he let his emotions rush over him.
Once his shock eased, Lance carefully tore the paper from the package and opened the box.
He smiled warmly as he looked inside. He slowly pulled out a teddy bear, with a small red heart intricately embroidered on it's chest. It was holding a small envelope, of the same color, in it's right hand.
Lance took the envelope from it's hand and anxiously read the enclosed letter.
My Love,
This time I have no poem to shower you with but only tender words of my love.
The roses are symbols of a deeper meaning. The pink one symbolizes out never-ending, and always growing, friendship of which we will always share. The one of deep red color is an expression of my passion, desire, and overflowing love, that I hope you will soon share.
Tying the two together with the white ribbon unites the meaning of both. It symbolizes your pure innocence, that I hope to experience with you through out friendship and my undying desire to love you.
For years I have known, but I have never, until now, expressed my true feelings. I can't stop my thoughts for you....... because you occupy every thought I own. I'll show you what you what you want to know, but until then, my hearts awaits while I think to myself, "If you only knew".

Lance's head was spinning, his hear racing, and he suddenly felt a blast of heat hit him in the face.
All he could think of was the words to a very familiar song:
"When vision's around you
bring tears to your eyes
and all that surround you
are secrets and lies
I'll be your strength
I'll be your hope
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call
was standing there all along."
Lance couldn't help but to wander who was trying to say that to him. Who would be there for him like that?
"Damn it! Why can I know! Why? Why!?" Lance murmured through his tears. ........... Thanks to every one who sent feed back I love it SOOO MUCH!!! It REALLY made my day.
