"Good morning, gorgeous. How about breakfast in bed?" "That would be wonderful, handsome! I'm still tired from yesterday." I guess so; you passed a big baby through a quarter-sized opening. I have always been incredibly proud of you, but seeing you give birth to Seth and be as calm as you were...that goes way beyond saying."

"While I get your breakfast ready, would it be OK if your mom comes up and sits with you?" "Honey, you know that's OK; why would you ask that?" "Because your mother told me too; otherwise, she won't come up."

"Richard, come here." Richard walked back to Sally and said, "yes, mam?" "Since I didn't get a chance to bite a plug out of you the day before yesterday, bend over." When Richard did as his wife instructed, she gave him the sweetest kiss and said, "sit on the bed for a minute."

As he sat on the bed, Sally said, "Richard, thank you for being you. I was so proud of you in the delivery room. I know you are a doctor and a pediatrician at that, but still, I thought you were so awesome through Seth's birth, especially given that he is our first child." "Thank you, sweetie; I thought I would faint when Seth came out, and it took everything I had not to. I couldn't stand to see you hurt the way you did."

"Richard, do you want to hear something crazy?" "What's that, Sally?" "I don't remember hurting; it's weird, but I really don't." "We studied that phenomena in med school, Sally, and nobody understood it. Jaiden and Peyton explained it best to everybody: Hashem gives you a blessed moment with no memory of the pain of getting to the miracle." "I think that is very true, Babe, because I don't remember any pain. The only medication I had was after the birth, and it wasn't for pain." "You never had any pain medication?" "None!" "Wow, I didn't realize that."

"Let me go get you some breakfast. Do you want some coffee? Decaf, so it won't affect your milk - and Seth?" "I would love a cup of coffee, Richard; please get Dale to make me a cup or two." "Oh, so you don't want me to make your coffee?" "What is the difference between yours and Dale's?" "Point made, sweetheart, Dale's coffee it is."

"Dale." "Yes, sir." Sally would like some decaf coffee, but she told me to get you to make it; she quickly let me know that yours was much better than mine."

"Richard, I'm sorry. Come with me for a second." Richard and Dale walked into the kitchen, where Dale pulled out a generic K-Cup. "Richard, fill the K-cup up to this line and close the top. Now put the K-Cup in the coffee maker, punch 10, and then K.

When the coffee brews, the only thing left to do is sweeten the coffee and put cream in it; use natural cream. It's better for Sally and Seth than the ground plastic masquerading as coffee creamer."

"Ground plastic?" "That's what I call it, Richard. Here, put some wet, powdered creamer on this saucer and let it dry, and you'll see what I'm talking about."

When Richard started to fix some breakfast for Sally, his mother and mother-in-law asked him what he was doing. He told them he was fixing breakfast for Sally. Both ladies stood up, told Richard his place was upstairs with Sally, and to get his butt up there and help his wife, or at least be quiet company for her.

Richard fixed the coffee the way Sally liked it, put it on a saucer, and took it upstairs. "Richard, Dale's coffee is so good!"

"Sally, I'll have you know I brewed that coffee for you." "You're kidding." "Nope, Dale showed me how to do it and then made me do it. So now, I can make coffee as good as his!"

"Mom and your mom told me to come upstairs and keep you company; they're making your breakfast." Richard looked over at Seth in the bassinet, and he was making a funny-looking face.

"Sally, Seth is making a hilarious face." "Richard, I fed him right before you came back upstairs. So that funny face probably means he's taking care of business." "Uh, I think I need to go get your breakfast."

"No, you don't; sit your butt in that chair until Seth is finished, and then change his diaper." "Sweetheart, I don't know how to change a diaper; I've never done that before." "Well, love, you are about to learn; sit down!" "Yes, mam."

When Seth finished filling his diaper, Sally said, "OK, Richard, get to work." Richard removed Seth's diaper, cleaned his bottom, and dressed his son in a new diaper.

"Richard, I thought you didn't know how to do that!" "OK, I admit, I know how to do it; I just didn't want to because it makes me queasy." "Well, you better get used to it; it's only going to get worse as Seth grows."

"I know, baby, but I have an operating room cure for that: mentholated salve and cotton balls." "Richard, I promise, you won't need that. Your olfactory senses will shut down like they do when you go to the bathroom, you'll see."

Richard's mom and mother-in-law walked into the bedroom with Sally's breakfast as she said that. Richard's mom said, "Son, Sally is right. In a month or so, you'll be changing a diaper with one hand while you eat with the other."

Richard's mother-in-law started laughing when Richard went pale and said, "Don't worry, sweetie, it gets easier with time. You'll look at Seth and remember the good times when you changed his diapers. Those thoughts will come in handy when you want to make him blush in front of his girlfriend."

Seth came upstairs to see his new nephew and how Sally was doing. Richard commented that he had just changed his son's diaper, and it was already soaked and needed to be changed again.

So he grabbed a new diaper and started to change Seth when big Seth said, "Richard, aren't you going to get a hand towel to lay across Seth while you change his diaper?"

"Why, little bro?" "When he shoots you right between the eyes, you'll know." Their mom laughed and said, "Big Seth is right, Richard. Your son will shoot pee in your face before you realize it if you don't cover him. Call Donna in Klingsman's Cliff; she'll tell you. If you don't ask her, call Jeffry, he'll tell you the truth; he knows with the boys he has."

"I don't need to call them, mom; I'm just curious how Seth knew to tell me that." "Ask him."

"OK, Seth, how'd you know that?" "It happened to Jaiden and Peyton, and I heard them talking about it. Jaiden told his mom it had happened, and she about died laughing."

"That's interesting, Seth; Jaiden never mentioned that to me." "I didn't tell you, OK?" "OK, buddy; I won't say who told me."

Everybody was sitting in the den, and Dad Riley brought up having the Brit Melah done. Richard said he and Sally had discussed the procedure beforehand. They want Rabbi Kravitz from Erie to do the honors.

"I'm glad you said that, Richard." "Why, Jaiden?" "Because I wanted to fly him down to Memphis if that is what you two wanted. I love Rabbi more than anybody knows, and he did Peyton's and my boys and Charley's and Dale's. We did the recitations for all the boys at one time, and then Rabbi Belson helped perform the bris procedures. They were so gentle with the boys."

"Jaiden, you've done enough. I can buy the ticket for the flight if Rabbi Kravitz can do the bris." "Richard, I can never do enough for my nephew. I will always make sure he has what he needs and what he wants within reason." "Jaiden, are you saying you want to spoil my son?" "Spoil him rotten, Richard; that's what grandparents, aunts, and uncles do."

Richard's mother-in-law was about to roll on the floor laughing. She thought the look on Richard's face about Jaiden and Peyton spoiling her grandson rotten was priceless.

"Richard, stop worrying; Peyton and I aren't going to spoil Seth rotten. Doing that is the farthest thing from our minds. We just want to be good uncles and help provide nice times and gifts for our nephew. Like riding in a Roll's Royce to his first day in first grade."

"Jaiden, I think him riding to school in a nine-year-old Lincoln is just fine. But, who knows, he may even have the privilege of riding to school in a new Ford F-150 pickup." "He'll probably enjoy going to school in a pickup, Richard, especially if you can find a winding dirt road to ride down at a good clip leaving dust behind." "I have a feeling he will love doing things like that, Jaiden, especially if he takes after big Seth."

"If everybody will excuse me, I will take my sweet wife a cup of decaf coffee and lie on the bed next to her – after I make sure Seth's diaper is clean." When Richard got upstairs with the coffee, Sally was sitting in a chair feeding and rocking Seth.

Richard sat the coffee on the nightstand next to the bed. He laid on the bed, a smile running from ear to ear, watching his wife holding and feeding their son."

Peyton was out at the barn with his dad letting the children play in the hay. Dale and Charley's parents had driven up to see the children and their grandsons. They were sitting on the rear deck, laughing their heads off at Alaina Noelle bossing the boys around so she could play in the hay.

Then, all the adults roared when Alaina Noelle let loose with a loud "MOVE!" and then watched the boys scatter so she could have the hay to herself. Finally, Dale's dad said he would feel sorry for whomever his granddaughter decided to date because she would have them cowering in no time.

Nathan Robert ran to Jaiden and said, "Daddy, Aina mean." Jaiden looked at Nathan Robert and said, "Sorry, son, that's a problem you will have to work out with your sister. You have to do that, not Daddy, OK?" "OK, Daddy."

Sam Isenberg, Sally's dad, looked at Jaiden and asked, "Jaiden, do you think Nathan Robert understood what you said?" "Mr. Isenberg, watch him."

They all watched as Nathan Robert walked up to Alaina and told her that the boys also got to play in the hay. Alaina Noelle backed off, and the boys jumped back into the hay, having fun and laughing.

Mr. Isenberg stated his surprise that Nathan Robert could settle a sibling problem like that at his age. Chuck Leonard told him that the children were brilliant in deducing what they needed to do to keep the peace, never fighting, and always minding Alaina Noelle.

Everybody howled when Samuel Isenberg said, "so that little girl already has the boys trained to be good husbands."

Adelle Isenberg walked onto the deck as her husband made his comment and said, "Sam, I heard that. Why should she be any different than the rest of us women?"

"I didn't say she should be dear; I said she already has the boys trained the way you wives trained we men." "Of course, dear, she's a brilliant little girl."

Sam Isenberg grunted at his wife's comment; he knew better than to say anything. If he did, she'd give him hell for days. So when Adelle went back inside the house, Sam said somewhat under his breath, "damned old bat!" That got a chuckle out of the men sitting with him.

They watched the children playing in the yard when Sam saw Nathan Robert hugging Alaina Noelle. He said, "Look at that little boy being sweet to his sister; it's nice to see him be so loving to Alaina."

Jaiden started to say, "Mr. Isen..." when Mr. Isenberg said, "Whoa! You're an adult; you can call me Sam." Jaiden replied that he was simply trying to be respectful the way his mother taught him to be and wouldn't feel right calling him by his first name." "Well, figure out something; you make me feel old calling me Mr. Isenberg." "How about Dad Isenberg?" "That'll work. If someone asks me if you are my son, I'll lie like hell and say yes, my son, the doctor. The members at the temple will eat that up; a son-in-law who's a doctor, and my son, the doctor. Yeah, that'll work just fine."

"I take it by your comment that your temple is orthodox." "That's correct; the old bat prefers an orthodox temple. I like a less formal reformed temple. The reformed temple is similar to a Baptist church: we prefer to argue rather than be analytical like the orthodox members. Then we make up over a table full of fried chicken – just like the Baptists."

Jaiden and Peyton went for a walk down to the lake while Peyton's dad watched their boys. They had their arms around each other's waists as they walked toward the lake, and Peyton said, "Jaiden, I've missed our intimacy since we've been sick. I miss holding you and you holding me. I want to snuggle with you and feel your skin against mine."

"Peyton, I have missed the same things, and when we get home, I want to make up for the lost time." "Love, I think we can arrange that."

When they walked past the back of the barn, Jaiden pulled Peyton to the side, backed him up against the barn, and planted one flat on his lips; he did. His tongue wasn't the only thing coursing about Peyton's body; his hands were exploring places he had forgotten about while they were sick. He was enjoying playing with everything his hands found.

About the time Jaiden took his hands out of Peyton's pants, Dale and Charley walked around the rear of the barn. "Dang, guys, we thought we'd find a private place and have a little fun."

"Charley, Peyton, and me being around never stopped you before; remember, you're the one who told me I needed to get comfortable being naked in the house and stop running to the bedroom every time you came home." "Tis true, bro, but we aren't at home in the den with the curtains closed and the children in bed."

Peyton said, "Yeah, I guess you're right. But, there is an alternate place where you and Dale can be freer to explore yourselves; follow Jaiden and me." "Where are we going?" "You'll see; just come with us."

The four lovers walked past the lake and a little way into the woods when they came upon an old fishing cabin. Peyton took a key out of his pant pocket and opened the door, so they could enter the old hut.

"Peyton, you never told me about this place!" "You never asked, Jaiden, and we've never had a chance to come down here before." Dale looked around and noticed three rooms in addition to the bathroom and living room and kitchen combo.

"Peyton, do you think your parents would let us camp here with the children tonight?"

"I don't see why not. I'll let Mom know we're staying here tonight with the children. They can sleep on the floor in the middle room, and we can take the rooms to each side of theirs. But, first, let's sweep the rooms out and make sure there aren't any creepy crawlers in them. See if the sheets are still on the beds, Charley."

"Yep, they are, Peyton. I have a feeling there is going to be a rodeo in this cabin tonight." Jaiden said, "count on it if I get my way. Two weeks of being sick have left me so horny my nuts are about to explode." "I think all four of us can say that, babe." "Peyton, are you saying you're game?" "Let's say the dragster is on the dragstrip, ready to roll."

"Mom, would it be OK if we camped in the old cabin behind the lake with the children tonight?" "I don't see why not. Your dad had power run to the place, so if you flip the breaker on the back porch, you'll have lights and heat if it gets cold."

"Thanks, Mom, you're the greatest." "I know, dear; be sure and bring the sheets up to be washed tomorrow; you don't want to leave any surprises for anybody." Peyton's mom smiled when he turned seven shades of red with embarrassment.

"Well, Peyton?" "Well, what, Charley?" "What did your mom say?" "We have the place to ourselves and the children tonight, but she said to bring the sheets up to be washed tomorrow, so we didn't `leave a surprise' for anybody."

"Damn, now I won't be able to have fun tonight!" "Why not, Charley?" "Your mom knows precisely why we want to stay in the cabin, and me knowing she knows kind of...knowing your mom knows, I don't think I can be amorous." Jaiden spoke up and said, "I can, and I'll show you!" "Like hell, you will, Jaiden."

"Peyton, you know what I mean. We're adults, married, and they've known before, so what's the problem now?" "That's true. I'll pack the supplies with the children's nightclothes."

After dinner, the guys and their children moved to the cabin. The children were excited to camp in the old house. They got settled into their beds for the night and went to sleep. The dads then went outside with a pot of coffee and built a campfire by the lake.

The night air was cool, with a slight breeze blowing in from the Gulf. Dale and Charley were cuddled in one swing, and Peyton and Jaiden cuddled in the other. They swapped tales of times with each other and laughed at some of the escapades they experienced along the way.

They rediscovered how much they loved each other's company and how they were way more family than friends. All four experienced a melancholy moment while remembering old times of their budding relationships. They spoke of how much they enjoyed honeymooning together in Hawaii, and how close they had become.

Charley started laughing, and Peyton asked him what was so funny. "I think my favorite time in Hawaii, Peyton, was when Dale and I got up and discovered you and Jaiden naked and locked out on the balcony; damn, that was funny!"

Jaiden said, "Yeah, I guess it was, but it wouldn't have been if we had gotten caught by someone walking down the beach."

"Ya know, Jaiden, we didn't get caught on the balcony, but we did get caught at Little Beach." "Yep, Peyton, we did, and by our Rabbis no less. Now that was funny to me." "It was funny to the congregation at the synagogue, too, when he told them that Saturday morning after we got home." Charley and Dale howled when Jaiden said that and mentioned they had never seen Peyton so embarrassed before or since.

"Peyton, can anyone at the house see us?" "No, not even with binoculars' and Dad won't dare come down here at night without being in the truck." "Hmm!"

Jaiden put his hands under Peyton's shirt and lifted it over his head. Then he unbuckled Peyton's belt and removed it from his pants. Peyton did the same thing with Jaiden, and Charley and Dale started undressing each other.

When Jaiden's shirt was off, he and Peyton stood, undid each other's pants, slid them and their briefs to the ground, and stepped out of their clothes. So did Charley andDale.

They sat back on the swings, Jaiden holding Peyton and Charley holding Dale. Then, the makeout session began, each husband kissing and caressing his spouse, eliciting moans of excitement.

Each spouse was edged again and again until there had to be some relief given. Then, finally, all four shot an excessive load of saved nectar as they panted heavily, trying to regain their breath.

Jaiden had brought two wet washcloths outside in a glad bag without the others knowing it. He tossed one to Dale and Charley and took one to clean Peyton and himself. They enjoyed sitting and looking at the stars after their exciting escapade.

"Jaiden, there was a time when you wouldn't have even thought of doing what we just did together."

"True, Charley, but times have changed, and we have gotten used to each other. Now it's like four brothers in one bedroom getting horny and jacking off; sometimes, it's something you just have to do – and it feels so good when the release cums, pun intended."

"Guys, whatever you do, don't move right now!" "What's wrong, Jaiden?" "I've got a snake crawling across my feet, and I just crapped all over this swing." "That's not all, babe." "How so, Peyton?" "You just whizzed all over me!" "Sorry, babe, I didn't mean to do that." "It's OK, Jaiden; I'm glad you weren't sitting on my lap when that snake started crossing your foot."

When they were satisfied the snake had crawled to wherever he was going, the guys went inside and went to bed – after Jaiden cleaned up. Jaiden cut on the lamp by the bed and noticed a little drawer in the nightstand. When he opened the drawer, he said, "I don't believe this! Our parents knew we were going to stay down here." "How do you know that, Jaiden?"

"Look in the drawer. Lube, condoms, massage lotion – just like they did the first time we stayed at the house together."

Peyton went to Dale's and Charley's door and knocked. Dale told him to come in, and when he went in, he asked them if they had looked in the nightstand drawer.

"No, why, Peyton?" "Just look." "Damn, I don't believe this, just like it was at Jaiden's Moms."

Peyton said, "I don't know about the two of you, but...good night!"

The following morning, the guys were in a joyful mood. Lost time had been recovered, energy had been expended most excitingly, and restful sleep had finally settled upon the four young men.

As the children began to awaken, the dads took care of their needs, got them dressed and into the van, and headed to the farmhouse for breakfast.

When they got to the house, the children ran into the kitchen, where Nathan Robert and Elijah James excitedly said, "Ganny, Ganny, we camp in da cabin ana snake crawed on Daddy's foot."

Phyllis and Mom Isenberg swung around, and Mom Isenberg said, "A WHAT did WHAT?" Jaiden started laughing and explained that he was holding Peyton in the swing when he felt a rather long snake crawling across his foot.

"Jaiden, what did you do?" Mom Riley asked incredulously. "Mom, I got very still, crapped all over the swing, and peed on Peyton. I have to go back and clean the swing." The ladies laughed so loud and hard that their husbands walked into the kitchen to see what was happening.

Mom Riley told them what the children said and what Jaiden confirmed, and Dad Riley said, "the hell you say!" Peyton looked at his dad and said, It really happened, Dad; Jaiden crapped all over the swing and whizzed all over me. We had to go inside and shower."

"Son, all I can say is I'm glad Jaiden didn't get bitten. Do you know what kind of snake it was?" "I don't think it was poisonous, Dad, because it was too long and not that heavy from what Jaiden said."

"I bet it was old Roger; I haven't seen him in ages. He stays around the place and catches rats and squirrels."

"Well, Dad, I'm glad it was old Roger and not one of the gators you got out of the pond." "Me, too, Jaiden. You know, it was funny how those gators floated like inflated balloons when I put the 220 current to the lake. Still got all that meat in the freezer if y'all would like some at dinner, providing Phyllis will let me fry it outside." "Jim, you're not supposed to have fried foods, but have at it since we are still celebrating, and you've been a good boy." "Good boy, hmm...Guys, gator meat appetizers tonight – grilled!"

"Seth, since you are home and resting, what would you like for dinner? Your choice." "Mom, Sally, and Richard don't get to come home much, and it's their week, so let's have whatever Sally wants; she's had a rough week." "Are you sure, son?" "Yes, mam, let her choose."

"Phyllis, is Seth always so considerate? He seems like the most thoughtful, caring young man I have ever met." "Adelle, he is that and more. We adopted Seth and Richard almost four years ago after their birth dad almost killed Seth. After emergency surgery, the young man spent a month and a half in the hospital to repair internal damage his sperm donor did with a broom handle."

"Oy Vey, WHY?" "Seth is gay, and he got caught kissing his boyfriend in his bedroom. The homophobe went into a rant, became enraged, and did some unspeakable things to Seth. Richard was in medical school with Peyton and Jaiden and went to them for help since they worked as physician's assistants in the hospital emergency room in Erie."

"Jaiden and Peyton talked with Seth at their home, immediately called a surgeon they worked for, and took Seth to the hospital. We called that evening, and Charley told Jim what was going down, and the next thing I knew, we were on a jet headed to Erie. I have never seen Jim so furious. If he could have gotten to that boy's bio-dad, he would have killed him; there's no doubt in my mind. Jaiden and Peyton helped during the surgery and saw first-hand the damage done to Seth."

"Phyllis, why in the world would a person do that?" "We've asked each other that question a million times, Adelle, and we still don't have an answer. We went to court the Monday after we got to Erie and an attorney friend of Peyton's and Jaiden's drew up adoption papers for Jim and me. As soon as the judge put the man in prison, he terminated the parental rights of the mom and dad and granted us the boy's adoptions. Our lives have been nothing but richer since. You've seen how loving this family is - even with everybody in the house at one time."

"Jim paid off all of Richard's medical school loans and paid in advance for his last year of medical school. He got Seth interested in vet school, and he's at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine – and doing exceptionally well."

"Phyllis, you and Jim are so blessed: two sons who are doctors; a son-in-law who is a doctor; and a son who will be a doctor; so much happiness in one family!"

"Adelle, you are blessed too. Your daughter is married to one of my doctor sons." "So true, Phyllis."

"You know, Adelle, you did an amazing job raising Sally. I could not be more blessed to have the best daughter-in-law in the world. She is an unbelievably good person, and the way she helped Seth has been nothing short of a miracle."

"How so, Phyllis?" "You know she was Seth's nurse in the hospital, and he got into trouble because of her." "No, she never mentioned anything about Seth."

"Legally, she couldn't, Adelle; she walked into Seth's hospital room, and his eyes almost popped out of his head. He looked at Sally and told her she was `HOT' and that if he wasn't gay...Jaiden got all over him about that."

When Jim and I walked into the hospital room, Seth looked at Jaiden and said, `Mr. Jaiden, I am going to have to close my eyes.' When Jaiden asked him why, he said he would get in trouble again with all the pretty women walking into his room if he didn't close his eyes. That comment earned him another rebuke from Jaiden."

"Jim and I lost it when Seth said that. But, even at the worst time in his young life, he still had a fantastic attitude and sense of humor."

"We needed him in our lives and didn't even know it. So we brought him home with us to Orange Beach and got him into the best Hebrew School we could find. As a result, he has grown mentally and physically beyond what anybody thought he could."

"The only regret we have had about bringing Seth to Orange Beach is how badly it hurt Richard to see him come down here. I still cry when I picture Richard's eyes and face as we got on the plane to fly back to Orange Beach." Phyllis sat at the breakfast table, put her face in her hands, and sobbed.

"Phyllis, please don't cry. Richard has told Sam and me so many times that you and Jim saved his and Seth's life. You two gave them a family when they needed one the most. Y'all loved those two boys when they thought nobody did or ever would. I know Richard hated to see Seth move to Orange Beach, but he knew it was the best thing that could happen for his little brother, the safest thing."

"There is one thing that puzzles me that I can't figure out, though, Phyllis: why does Richard call Peyton a jackass?" Phyllis threw her head back and nearly died laughing, making Adelle wonder about the question she had just asked.

"Adelle, come to the window a minute and let me show you something." Adelle walked to the window, and Phyllis said, "See that old mule walking with Seth in the pasture? That old mule doesn't like and won't have anything to do with anybody but Seth; his name is Peyton the Jackass."

"As soon as that mule saw Seth when he got home from the hospital, he has protected Seth like a doting dad. Nothing and nobody can get near Seth when those two are together. Jim says that he has never seen or read anything about a relationship like theirs in all the years he has been a vet. But, I have to admit - it is a strange but loving relationship."

"Phyllis, thank you for what you and Jim have done for those boys. Richard told me he didn't want to live before he met you and Jim, and that he didn't know what he would have done had it not been for Peyton's and Jaiden's friendship and love."

"Sam and I have been so blessed since Richard came into Sally's and our life." "Adelle, that's true for everybody who knows Richard.
