G. A. Patrick
It is Sunday morning and I have secretly wished all night for a stormy day. We were going back to the beach for the day, but that was not what I wanted. What I wanted was a day with just me and Peyton. Tenderness, romance, sharing our feelings, looking into each other's eyes, lovingly stroking his hair, being alone together .
I got my wish: it is storming outside with another strong weather system coming in from the south. I woke up early and snuck into the kitchen. I cooked some turkey bacon, fixed some soft, fluffy scrambled eggs the way Peyton loves them. I made him some Kona coffee, two sugars, and a touch of heavy cream. I toasted and buttered some bread and slathered Peyton's favorite strawberry jam on it. I got a bed tray out, put all the food on the tray and took it into the bedroom, sat on Peyton's side of the bed, and softly said, "wake up, sweetheart, you are having breakfast in bed today." Peyton woke up rubbing his eyes and trying to focus on breakfast, or so I thought. He was actually trying to focus on me.
"Jaiden, you are too handsome. When I wake up next to you, I feel so loved, so special. When I see you first thing in the morning, my heart starts racing and I want to hold you for as long as possible. You bring me breakfast in bed and you do without while you watch me eat."
"This morning, I am going to eat the breakfast you lovingly brought to me and then I am going to go to the kitchen and prepare your breakfast so I can serve you in bed for once and watch you enjoy the food. Then, I want to crawl back in bed with you, to hold you, to stroke your hair, to smell your fresh scent, and enjoy some quiet time looking into your beautiful eyes. I want to taste your lips, to see your smile, and to feel your touch." I reached up and softly ran my hand across Jaiden's face. He gave that beautiful smile of his and I leaned in and softly kissed him.
When Jaiden finished his breakfast, I prepared his favorite breakfast of lox on a bagel with a slice each of tomato and onion. I used the same tray he served my breakfast on and served him in bed. I sat quietly watching him enjoy his food. I didn't say a word. When he had finished eating, I sat the tray on the floor and snuggled up to him and laid my head on his chest. I rubbed his chest as he rubbed my back. Jaiden looked down and saw tears in my eyes and he reached down and wiped them away. "Peyton, what are you thinking that would cause the tears?"
"Jaiden, I can't think of what I have done that would cause me to be so blessed to have you and your family in my life. I have never loved anyone the way I love you. It's like a record in my head that never stops playing."
"Peyton, I think you are blessed because you are simply a good, loving person who does great mitzvahs that please Hashem in honorable ways. That is part of the reason I fell so fast and hard in love with you. You are the most loving, sensitive person I have ever met. You love and treat everybody with the utmost respect and love whether you know them, like them, or not. You bring out the best in everybody you meet, just like you did for Dale and Charley. Just like you have done for me. Damn, now I'm doing it!"
I reached up and wiped the tears from Jaiden's eyes. He pulled me on top of him and rubbed his face in my hair. He caressed me so lovingly and rubbed my back for what seemed like hours. I laid there in his embrace and fell asleep. When I finally woke up, Jaiden was still holding me on top of him and he was still rubbing my back.
We got up and took a warm shower together. After Jaiden had bathed himself, I backed him up against the shower wall and kissed him as lovingly as I could. I began to work my way down until I was at his waist. I slowly took him in and gave him a slow, sensual pleasure making sure it lasted. When he finally had his release, his legs were shaky and he could barely stand up. He pulled me up and tenderly kissed me and said, "Thank you, love. That was awesome. Your turn."
Jaiden kissed me as lightly and as tenderly as he could. He then began to tease every part of my body making me squirm in his embrace. He worked his way to waist level and took me in and gave me such pleasure that it was hard to describe. You could say I was totally de-stressed and very relaxed.
Jaiden exited the shower and got a clean towel and patted my body dry and then dried himself. Then he picked me up and took me back to the bed where he took the lotion that made him smell so good and began rubbing the lotion on my entire body; it felt so good.
When he finished applying lotion to my body, I took the lotion and returned his love. When I had put the lotion on every part of his body, he pulled the sheets up and we spooned each other and fell asleep again.
We woke up about an hour later and took a long walk on the beach and then walked to `Down The Hatch' on Front Street for an intimate lunch. I loved walking hand-in-hand with Jaiden. I enjoyed seeing the smiles people had when they noticed the love Jaiden and I shared. And I especially loved sitting on the sand at the beach with his arms around my waist as we watched the whales and the egrets diving for fish. Those intimate moments made me feel so loved, so wanted, and so appreciated.
Before we headed back to the resort, we decided to stop by John's art studio to look at a mural he had for sale. It would go well above the bed in our new home and every time we would look at it, it would remind us of the happiness we shared on our honeymoon.
We talked to John about the triple mural and what we wanted to do with it and why. When he discovered we had just gotten married and were on our honeymoon before medical school started, he gave us a nice discount which we very much appreciated. He told us he had several stores state-side and they had the prints we wanted just one state away from home. He made a telephone call to make sure the piece wasn't sold. It wasn't, so he told them to ship it to Mom's house in Abingdon. We paid him, shook his hand and he wished us years of happiness and health. He is such a wonderful person.
I am truly blessed, no doubt whatsoever.
We walked back to the resort and went to our room. Charley and Dale had finally gotten up. Dale gave Jaiden and I a hug and said, "Thanks for the alone time, we enjoyed it as much as I am sure you enjoyed yours."
"Dale, you and Charley ought to walk down to the wharf in Lahaina and watch the whales breaching in the bay. They are gorgeous. You could also have lunch at `Down The Hatch' at an intimate corner table. Sit together on the beach and enjoy watching the birds fishing for their lunch and watch the whales from that vantage point." Dale looked at Charlie and said, "that sounds fun, let's do it." With that, they headed to lunch and whale watching on the beach.
Just after they left, Peyton and I cleaned out and went back to bed. I rolled a condom onto Peyton and applied some lube and let him make love to me. He has such a loving, gentle way about him! When he naturally slid out, he rolled a condom on me, applied some lube and said, "Love, your turn."
We gently made love for at least an hour and then showered, dressed, and sat on the chase lounge on the balcony, me holding Peyton. Nothing was said, we were enjoying some intimate time alone. The birds, the beach, the people walking and swimming, we had an awesome time watching it all. But most of all, we were truly enjoying our alone time.
We have a television in our bedroom, so we went back inside, stripped completely and watched `Love Story' on Cinemax. It fit us perfectly.
I was lying there with Peyton's head on my chest and my hand around his shoulder in a way that let me rub his back. We were extremely relaxed and that made it much easier to talk about things that mattered to us.
"Peyton, what would you like to do to the house once we've moved in prior to med school?" He said, "you know that little nook at the end of the upstairs hallway, I would like to get a tall, wide picture stand to hold our parents, siblings, and their family's pictures. On the top tier where there is room for only one picture, I would like to have a picture of your mom and Dad together. On the hallway walls, I would like to have portraits of our grandparents, especially of your grandfather, the Rabbi, and your grandmother with him, and a picture of Ginny and Gampy."
"The house is already beautifully decorated, but I would like to see some of your touches that you enjoy, things and pictures that evoke good memories for you. You are always doing something good for people whom you don't know and people you do know. Something that would be so special to our parents and especially to me would be a portrait of you standing in the woods with your kippah on as you daven. I would like for that to be a large portrait to be hung above the fireplace in the living room."
"Peyton, Mom told me how proud she was when we held hands and lifted them to recite the Shema totally from memory and how she cried herself to sleep that night. I would like to recreate that scene standing in the open French doors in the den. We can have Dale and Charlie take the picture with the Canon camera our parents gave us and take it to someone Mom doesn't know and have it made into a portrait and framed. WE could hang it above the fireplace and not tell them, just let them come for a visit and see it."
"Good idea, Jaiden, I think that would be the best of the ideas. We'll work it out with Dale and Charley and they can take the picture from the deck so our faces can be seen in the picture." "OK, let's do it."
"And in the bedroom, Jaiden, the three-piece mural we bought from John. Every time I will see it, and you will see it, memories of the happiest month of our lives will flood our minds." Having said that, I put my hand behind Jaiden's neck and pulled him in for a kiss. Then I hugged him, his face against mine, and held him in that hug for quite some time.
It's hard for me to describe just how much I love and adore Jaiden. One thing I do know is that Jaiden's love for me runs very deeply and the little, special things he does for me prove his love for me is unquestionable.
Everyone should be so blessed and so loved. Everyone!
