Greetings everyone,

Here is my first submission to the archives. I want to thank everyone who has submitted stories. I've enjoyed all that I've read so far and it's because of you that I was inspired to write a story of my own. Yes, the main character is loosely based on me and has all my quirks.

This story is purely ficton and is not intended to imply anything about the true sexuality of *Nsync or anyone associated with their organization. It is meant for those over the age of 18 only and who wish to read stories with sexual contents.

Chapter One - Jamie's Romance

Jamie sat through the rehearsal only half concentrating on his playing. He was listening to the band trying to catch anything that might need changing or tweaking. It was the halfway point of his last semester at college and the big homecoming dance was in 2 weeks. This wasn't just an ordinary gig and he was almost ready. His senior project was directly tied to it. He was responsible for writing the charts for about two-thirds of the numbers, most of them arrangements of older well-known tunes and one original composition. After this tune there was just one more to finish up, his original, and the set would be done.

There was also alot of other stuff going through his mind. With graduation looming, it meant making a decision about what to do next, stay in Boston or move to New York. He knew he could make a living here in Boston, but the real career possibilities were in New York. He knew he was marketable, he was a good guitar player and versatile with both electric and acoustic guitars. His teacher had connections in both towns and promised to set him up well whichever he decided. His minor of composing and arranging would also be good for bringing in some extra money. But he was torn about where to go.

Thinking of all this also brought his thoughts to Rocky. 'What do I do about our relationship then?' he asked himself. He vowed to talk this all out between the two of them this coming weekend.

The number ended on a slightly sour chord and Jamie ran up to the trumpet section to see what was wrong.

"Oops, sorry," Zack apologized, "forgot the flat."

Jamie smiled at him and sighed with relief. "S'ok, buddy, don't worry about it. Just don't do that at the dance," Jamie joked with his best friend.

"All right folks, that's it for today," Mr. White, the director, announced. "Jamie, come see me tomorrow morning about your original that you're finishing up." Jamie nodded to him. "Good job everyone, and especially to our chart writer extraordinaire, give him a hand gang."

Jamie blushed as the band cheered for him. They put the equipment away and went their separate ways. Zack caught up to Jamie in the hall.

'Hey buddy, let's hit some pizza and a few brews, my treat," Zack offered, putting his arm around Jamie's shoulders. "You done an sweet job with these charts, they be kicking!" Zack added in a bad Armstrong imitation that sounded funny coming out of his cute boy-next-door face.

"Thanks, Zack, I appreciate that. Can we do it tomorrow instead, I kinda promised Rocky we'd eat together tonight since he has the night off."

"Aw man, sure," Zack looked at Jamie a little disappointed. "You hardly hang with me anymore. I know," he added quickly as Jamie sighed, "Your relationship with Rocky is important, just don't forget us little guys!"

"You a little guy?" Jamie teased. "That's not what I've heard from some of the sorority girls."

"Depends then on who you've talked with, buddy," Zack shot back laughing. He then let go of Jamies shoulders and moved toward the side door. "Catch you tomorrow in class, ok?"

"You bet, take care."

As Zack went out the door his mind was busy thinking of Jamie. 'Jamie is so great,' he thought. 'If only I could let him know my feelings for him. But he loves Rocky so much, I can't ruin that for him.'

Jamie went out another door thinking of Zack. 'Zack is such a cutie, too bad he's into girls.' Jamie had the biggest crush on Zack when they first started college. They had become good friends and Jamie didn't push their friendship any farther. 'And now I have Rocky,' Jamie smiled inwardly.

Jamie made it back to the dorm room he shared with Rocky. They met last year just before winter break. For Jamie it was love at first sight and now that he was graduating at the end of the fall semester they decided to make the best of the limited time they had together and share a room. It was working out great. Their schedules were hectic and hardly ever matched but they at least could sleep cradled together and wake up in each other's arms, which to Jamie made everything worthwhile.

Rocky wasn't in the room which surprised him. He went over to the message pad praying that Rocky hadn't gotten called into work. Jamie considered himself lucky, his family had planned far ahead and saved and invested so that his college bills would be all taken care of. All he had to come up with was spending money, easy to do with summer jobs and the occasional weekend gigs. Rocky wasn't so fortunate. His family didn't have much but gave him what they could. He had to take classes and hold a more than part-time job just to make ends meet. Jamie constantly worried about this disparity but Rocky shrugged it off. He was fairly proud that he had so far successfully put himself through college. Jamie compensated by paying for dinners out, movies and other things they did together.

But there was still a tension in the relationship. Jamie lately felt as though Rocky was slightly aloof when they were together. Jamie always chocked it up to school stress and his own imagination. The occasional overnights in the computer lab didn't help Jamie's feelings either. With the job, Rocky had to get mainframe time when he could and Jamie understood that, but it didn't make it any easier.

Jamie was lost in his thoughts when he heard a deep voice from behind him. "And who do I find here in my room, off in another world?"

Jamie quickly turned around to see Rocky wrapped in a towel from the shower. He smiled at Jamie through his wet dark black hair as he closed the door behind him.

"Hey, this is my room too!" Jamie grinned at his lover, "and what are you doing just standing there, sexy, come give me a kiss."

Rocky crossed the floor quickly, wrapped his arms around Jamie's waist and pulled him into a deep kiss. Jamie became breathless with the intensity of Rocky's passion and placed his hands on Rocky's chest to steady himself. The feeling of the muscle and fine layer of hair on Rocky's pecs always excited him. They continued to kiss as they both expressed their love for each other with their lips and tongues. Jamie was the first to break the kiss, panting.

"You keep this up and we'll never get to dinner," he said looking deeply into Rocky's eyes. The lust he saw there brought his blood pressure up another notch and made the growing erection larger in his pants.

"So, maybe a late dinner then?" Rocky suggested. Jamie knew that tone of voice and nothing he could say would stop what was about to happen and he didn't want to. He looked up at Rocky with a smirk.

"I take that as a yes and you have way too many clothes on," growled Rocky has he started undressing Jamie. He kissed him all over as different parts became exposed. Jamie groaned loudly, letting Rocky push him down to the bed, as he enjoyed the attention Rocky was showing him.

-------- Some guys passing in the hall outside grinned to each other. The two were well liked and Jamie's vocalizations during sex were well documented and a source of constant good-natured joking on the floor.

-------- The next day, Jamie was seated in a chair in Mr. White's office waiting to go over his last almost finished chart. Soon Mr. White came into the room.

"Sorry for making you wait, Jamie, but the department head needed to speak to me about something very important," he apologized. "I'm glad I talked to him before seeing you, it's big news."

"So what's up?" Jamie asked growing curious.

"You know we were supposed to share the stage at the homecoming dance with that local campus garage band that everybody likes, right?" Jamie nodded. "Well, they pulled out of the concert because they broke up unexpectedly."

Jamie frowned, "That is news, I thought they were tight, plus they're a great band."

Mr. White nodded, "It seems not as tight as everyone thought. Too bad, too, they were just on the verge of making it further, they had promise."

"I guess then we fill the whole concert? Or are they looking for something else?" Jamie asked, quickly getting the hint that this was going to mean more work for him.

"No, we won't have to play the whole dance. I think we could do it but it would be hard on everyone and it would mean sight reading some easier charts to fill in the time, something I don't want to do," Mr. White reassured him.

"So what happens from here, then?" Jamie asked curious about what Mr. White was obviously holding back.

Mr. White smiled at his prize pupil, "Well, the dean has some connections and has booked a group to help with the concert."

Now Jamie's curiosity was really peaked. "Ok, so spill, Mr. W, don't keep me in suspense any longer, who are we gonna share the stage with? I hope not some lame band like They Might Be Giants, I hear they're doing the college circuit nowadays."

"Oh, I think I'll leave it a surprise for rehearsal this afternoon," he chuckled at Jamie.

"No Fair!" Jamie shouted, "Don't leave me hanging like this," he added laughing with Mr. White.

"Ok, but keep it to yourself until rehearsal, I'd like to spring the surprise on everyone." Jamie nodded in agreement. "Jamie, do you follow pop music at all?"

"Sure I do," Jamie replied impatiently, "along with blues, R&B, folk, oldies, jazz, but you know this, Mr. W."

Mr. White nodded, "Well then I guess you've heard about a group called *NSync?"

Jamie's eyes bugged out of his head, "No way, Mr. W!"

He couldn't believe what he'd heard. THE hottest pop groups in the country performing for a homecoming dance at his school, and they were gonna share the stage with them.

tbc........

There it is. I hope you all liked it. I know, not much sex but I'd like to build up to it. Besides, our imaginations are the best source for fantasies anyway. And to borrow from other writers on the archives I do plan on cliffhangers of sorts at the end of every chapter. How else am I gonna get you to read the next part. : )

I have a vague plot outline for the whole story but am open to suggestions and ideas. Please write with any ideas or comments you have to: bangoremail@aol.com.

Take care, Jim (and yes I was called Jamie in High School by some of my friends)

Next: Chapter 2
