Jason and JC - 16
Alright, Hi there everyone. I know that you are probably all a wee bit ticked at me because I haven't posted in so long, but I am so so sooooo sorry. Please forgive me everyone. I have had a sort of writer's block that I have just recently been able to clear. So I am finally ready to move on and develop so more interesting events. This chapter and the next will be out around the same time and I hope you enjoy them.
If you have some extra time and want something else to read, "Unconditional Love" is a great developing story. It's coming along wonderfully. Now as always, drop me a line and tell me what you think. My email is trueofheartandsoul@yahoo.com with the same screen name on yahoo messenger. I'm on ICQ #76118280 and AOL a41a14a2000 as well. Keep reading after the story. I have an important issue that I want some feedback from, but I'll get to that afterwords. Right now, on with the show...
Jason awoke to the feel of a soft breeze on his face. He slowly opened his eyes to the vision of JC, with persed lips, above him. Jason's face broke into a smile as he recognized the angel above him.
"You have the most beautiful eyes. I just love your eyes." JC said smiling.
Jason maneuvered his body around until his head was laying in JC's lap and he was looking straight up at JC. "Tell me, Mr. Chasez, what else do you love about me? Or is that all?" he asked with a grin.
"Of course not. I love every part of you. You have the most beautiful face, stunning arms and legs, an absolutely amazing chest and stomach..." he answered, exploring the areas as he named them off. "And a really cute butt." he finished, squeezing Jason's butt underneath the covers.
"Hey!" Jason exclaimed, squirming underneath the sheets. "Well, I'm glad, becuase I really like yours too." Jason wedged his hands underneath JC and gave him a pinch, causing JC to jump.
"Come on," JC said, sliding out from under Jason and hopping up off of the bed. "It's after ten and they're going to be looking for us around noon."
"Oh yeah," Jason replied, rubbing his eyes. "Your parents, I had almost forgotten. After ten? Already? I used to be up at 7:30 everyday until I met you, but now, I sleep to well into the day. That is so wierd. I could just stay in bed with you all day."
"I could too, but you know what else we have today?" JC reminded.
"What?" Jason asked.
"Our plane leaves at 3:00. The Bahamas, remember?" JC replied, poking him in the arm.
"Oh yeah. I still can't believe that you went and did that." Jason answered.
"Well, I wanted us to have some alone time. Something we obviously can't get around here, and you gave me the perfect idea." JC responded with a grin. They both slipped into some new clothes, Jason into the best that he could find. He did, after all, want to make a good first impression. He also didn't want to make things any harder for JC.
The two quietly slipped out of their room and down the hall. They hoped to exit the house without anyone knowing, but were caught by Lynn at the bottom of the steps. "Where are you boys headed?"
"Um..." JC began. "We're going to see my folks."
"Your mom and dad that's nice." she responded with a smile, then looking up at Jason, her face dropped. "Oh, I see. Are you sure?"
"Yeah," JC answered taking Jason's hand. "I'm sure. Listen Lynn, Jason and I are going to be going out for the weekend. Okay?" JC informed.
"Alright. Lance is going home for the weekend and I'm sure Joey and Chris are going out too." She responded. "Will you two be coming back before you head off?"
"Yeah, we'll have to pack before we head off." JC answered.
"Okay, well make sure to tell us goodbye before you leave."
"We'll be sure to do that." JC replied with a smile. He grabbed Jason by the hand and pulled him out the front door. They headed down the walk to JC's jeep. After a long, deep breath, JC popped the jeep into gear and off they went.
After about thrity minutes of driving, JC pulled off of the main road onto a small winding road that led back into the somber country scene. A few moments of driving brought them up to a beautiful country home.
The large wrap around porch was the first thing to catch Jason's eye, decorated with potted flowers and plants, complete with two porch swings. As he surveyed the country scene, he nrealized that although the car had been stopped for sometime, JC hadn't moved.
"Are you okay, Josh?" Jason asked as he turned toward JC.
"Yeah," he answered with a hard swallow. "I'm just a little nervous."
Jason took JC's hand and gripped it firmly. "I'm here for you, no matter what. It'll be okay. I promise." he assured with a warm smile.
"I know. Come on, let's go. It's not going to get any easier." JC answered, opening the door and stepping out of the car.
Jason followed JC's lead as he mounted the steps up onto the wooden porch. Together, they walked up to the door and Jason waited as JC pounded on the front door. Never had something so simple as a door seemed so menacing to Jason in his whole life. He could hear footsteps approaching the door and slowly, it swung open.
"Joshua!" the woman squeeled as she leapt out at JC. "Roy, Joshua's here." she called into the house. I warm, looking, very pleasant man rounded the hall corner a few moments later and came up behind the woman.
"Son, it's good to see you again." he announced, wrapping JC in a manly hug. After a few pats on the back, he pulled away. "How have you been?"
"Alright, the roads treating us well." JC answered.
By this time, the woman had noticed Jason standing off to the side, trying as hard as he could to be unobtrusive. She gave him a warm smile and a look over before she spoke up again. "Who's this?"
"This is Jason. Jason this is my mom and dad. Jason is..." JC hesitated, and with a swallow, he broke. "...a friend of mine."
"Oh... That's nice. Nice to meet you." his mother replied with a smile. After a moment, she started to laugh. "I wondered who it was you were bringing to meet us. I thought maybe you had finally found a girlfriend you wanted to introduce us to."
JC grimiced ever so slightly, just enough for Jason to notice. The words, although completely innocent in his mother's eyes, stung him like arrows. 'How can I be so gutless?' he scolded himself. 'Alright, enough. Here goes.'
"Actually, I do have something I need to talk to you about." he informed, looking them straight in the eyes.
"Oh, okay. Let's go inside." his mother answered. They led the way inside and Jason followed JC into his home. He trailed JC trough the hall and into the living room. The four of them took seats around the room, Jason taking the seat next to JC.
"Now, what is it son?" his father asked, with a concerned look in his eyes.
"Okay, here goes." JC started, taking a deep breath. "Well, you see, Jason is more than just a friend." He paused momentarily, trying to build up a little courage before he dropped the bombshell. He closed his eyes, and just blurted it out. "Mom, Dad. I'm gay. And Jason is my boyfriend." He bit his bottom lip and just waited for the room to collapse around him.
He waited, and waited, and waited. Silence flowed through the room, the only thing that could be heard, was the occasional drip coming from the faucet in the kitchen sink. He slowly opened his eyes and found his parents just looking at him. "Mom? Dad? Say something, please."
"What do you want us to say?" his father asked while his mother remained silent.
"Anything." JC pleaded.
"I think you need to go." he returned in a stern tone.
"What?" JC asked, not certain he heard what he heard. "What do you mean?" he questioned, hurt flashing in his eyes.
"You, and you," his father informed, stressing Jason's need to leave too. "need to leave. Your mother and I need some time to think."
JC just sat there not believing what he was hearing. Could his parents, who had shown him unconditional love since birth, be turning on him now? Over something so trivial. He was so shocked that he couldn't move. A blank stare covered his face as all of these confusing thoughts raced through his mind.
"Get out." he father reiterated once more through gritted teeth.
"Fine. You take all the time you want. I really don't care. Let's go." JC returned, his voice increasing, as he tried to hide the hurt growing in his heart. He grabbed Jason's hand and pulled him out of the room and down the hall. He threw the front door open and pushed Jason through it. "Actually, don't worry about time. You can have all the time in the world because I'm not coming back!" he yelled into the house. He grabbed the door and with all of his might, slammed it as hard as he could.
"Come on Jason." JC called, stumbling down the stairs as he tried to fight back tears. By the time Jason finally set his feet in motion, JC was already halfway to the car. He leapt off of the steps and ran after JC. By the time he caught up with him, he was already at the jeep, leaning against it wearily.
"You know, I thought they would accept it. Or at least understand." JC said as tears slowly began to roll down his cheeks. "This is the last thing I expected." Jason grabbed him and pulled him into his arms.
"It's okay, baby. It's okay." Jason soothed. He pulled him close and put his hand on his on the back of JC's head. He tenderly patted JC, consoling him the best he could. "It'll be alright, we'll get through this. I'm here for you."
JC lifted his head up off of Jason's shoulder and looked him in the eyes. Jason lovingly wiped the tears from his cheeks. "You know what, who needs 'em." he said with a sniffle. "If they are upset, that's their problem. I have you and I'm happy." JC's face eased into a half-grin and he wiped his eyes.
"You know, that was the first time you've called me Baby." he said after thinking a moment.
"I did, didn't I?" Jason answered thinking back to what he had said.
"It's kinda cute." JC replied with a smile. "I like it."
"Well then, come here, baby." Jason cooed, pulling JC into a kiss. They broke the kiss with a smack, and Jason put his hand up against JC's cheek. "I love you, and you'll always be my baby." he said with a smile, as he ran his fingers down through JC's hair.
"I love you too." JC answered grinning. "Now come on, the Bahamas await."
"JOSHUA!!! JOSHUA WAIT!!!" A voice called as JC was just about to climb into the driver's seat. He popped his head up and scanned the yard, finding his mother running toward them, yelling. "JOSH, Wait!" JC shook his head and dropped down into the seat. He was ready to speed off. He really didn't want to hear what she had to say. And he would have, had Jason's steady hand not stopped him. Jason grasped his hand and awaited the onslaught.
"Yes?" JC asked coldly as his mother approached the door. He gripped Jason's hand tightly and continued to look straight ahead.
"Joshua, I'm sorry. Your father shouldn't have reacted like that. I think it just caught him by surprise, that's all. I really didn't know what to think, but watching you two, just now, you have something very special and the ties of gender shouldn't bar that. I just have one question." she explained.
"What's that?" JC asked, finally turning to look at her.
"Are you happy?" she asked with a smile.
"Yeah..." he answered, looking to Jason and then back at his mother, smiling. "I am."
"That's all I needed to hear. I'm glad that you have finally found someone special. And don't worry about your father. He didn't mean what he said. Just give him some time." she said, her face streching into a smile.
JC reached around and hugged his mother. "I love you."
"I love you, too. Drive safe." she answered. JC slowly pulled out of the yard and back onto the road. The trip back into Orlando was quiet and peaceful. Jason laid his head on JC's shoulder as the miles passed by. The soft songs flowing from the radio completed the somber ride.
They got back soon after two. They strolled into the house and upstairs. JC leisurely went through his large closet full of clothes, pulling this and that out and tossing it onto the bed. Jason picked up his small duffle bag and tossed it up beside JC's growing pile of clothes.
"Josh, we're only going to be gone for a weekend. Why all the clothes?" Jason asked, as he threw his arms over JC's shoulders from behind. JC looked over his shoulder and realized how rediculous it seemed.
"I see your point. Lets see... I'll take this... and this... oh and I have to have this." he replied picking up a loose white sleeveless shirt.
"Oh I love that. And it looks so good on you." Jason returned with a smile.
JC tossed the smaller pile of clothes into a bag and put it beside Jason's. "This is going to be so much fun." he announced, putting his arms onto Jason's shoulders, looking him in the eyes.
"Yes it will be." Jason replied, pecking JC on the lips.
"You boys back?" Lynn asked sticking her head through the open doorway. "Oh, I guess so." she added with a grin. "How'd it go?"
"It went." JC responded, sighing.
"Oh, was it bad?" she asked with concern. JC sat down on the bed and relayed the summerized version of the events that had taken place. He managed with quite a bit of effort to keep the tears that were burning at the corner of his eyes at bay.
"Doesn't your plane leave at three?" Lynn asked, looking down at her watch. Jason shot a glance down to his own watch and shot up in surprise. It was nearly 2:30.
"Josh, we've got to go. Like now." Jason urged. They bid goodbye to Lynn and rushed out the door with bags in hand. They sped down the road and made it to the airport in record time.
As they walked into the airport, they had ten minutes to get to their gate before the plane left. They raced through the terminal, getting caught up by airport security. They had to wait, rather impatiently, to pass through the metal detectors. After they were assured safe, JC grabbed Jason by the hand and took off yet again.
They were in such a hurry, Jason accidentally collided with a man leisurly strolling along. They both crashed to the floor. "I am so sorry." Jason fumbled trying to help the man up. "I wasn't watching where I was going. I... Mark? Mark is that you?"
"Jason?" the guy answered, rising to his feet. "What are you doing here?"
"I was about to ask you the same question. I haven't heard from you in forever." Jason responded.
"I just transfered to Orlando from the Chicago office not long ago. I can't believe the coincidence running into you here. This is so cool. Are you in town for long?" Mark asked.
"Actually, I was just about to fly out for the weekend." Jason answered, noticing JC standing by, trying to conceal himself as best he could. His sense of urgency showed through. "I'm actually running late for my flight. I'll be back next week though."
"Well here." Mark informed, scribbling some information onto a piece of paper. "Give me a call when you get back in. I'd love to hang out sometime. Remenisce."
"I'll do that." Jason answered with a smile. He took the piece of paper and stuffed it into his pocket and bid Mark goodbye. He and JC then paced quickly to the nearby gate. They slipped into the back of the line and just managed to board the plane. They took their seats and got comfortable before JC spoke up.
"So who was that?" he asked curiously.
"Do I detect a hint of jealousy, Mr. Chasez?" Jason answered, softly poking JC's side, causing him to squirm slightly.
"No, of course not. I mean he didn't seem like... well... like..." JC stuttered, trying to find the right way of putting it.
"I know what you mean." Jason answered with a laugh. "We've known each other since high school. We met our freshman year and just got along really well. We used to do double dates all of the time." Jason remembered, laughing again. "If he only knew what I know now."
With JC's question answered, and the flight underway, the couple sat back and enjoyed the peaceful plane ride. A couple hours later, the stewardess announced their decent. The landing was routine and in no time, they were on the ground.
Okay, I know it proabably wasn't the best place to stop, but it does leave you wondering what's going to happen next time. And I had to break it up somewhere. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it. Now I need your opinions, so drop me a line. Again, my email is trueofheartandsoul@yahoo.com with the same screen name on yahoo messenger and I'm on ICQ #76118280 and AOL a41a14a2000.
