Note: Readers, I made the mistake of naming Part 2 of my story, Part 3. The story line is the same and there weren't any mix ups in the flow of the story line as well. I saw that I did this at the last min and was to late to change it. Just wanted to let everyone know. Now enjoy reading!
Chapter 5
Part 3
Last time
"You'll never live to see tomorrow." And she walked off.
Jason couldn't call out for his friend at that moment and he blacked out...........
Getting up from his bed Randy couldn't wrap his head around it, but he had a weird feeling and couldn't go to sleep. He got up from the bed and went to get some water.
It was dark and as he was walking down the hall, he stepped on something wet.
"Shit, who waste water on the floor" Randy spat out as he went by Jason's bedroom door.
"Next time you go get water and spill it please clean it up silly" Randy said as he was walking away from the door of Jason's room. When he walked into the kitchen he put some water in a glass and noticed that there were red spots on the floor where he entered the kitchen. His first thought was he may have cut his foot, but after looking at the bottom of his foot he saw nothing but red stuff on it.
As he went to touch it he noticed it was blood, but it wasn't his. He started following the blood, and it stopped at the door of Jason's room. He knocked on it twice and called out for Jason.
He heard Jason's voice say "help me Randy please" in the most painful, sensitive and whiniest voice he ever heard.
As Randy opened the door and turned the light on, what he saw was blood everywhere.
"Holly shit; Jason!" Was all he could scream.
Randy ran over to his best friend in a panic, and tried to do his best to stop the bleeding. Jason kept going in and out of consciousness.
"Mom, Ash, help me please!" Randy cried out!
Randy's mother came sprinting to Jason's room along with his father Tyler. As they all tried to help Jason, Randy wandered where Ashley was. When they tried to sit Jason up they noticed he had blood coming from his mouth then he blacked out once again.
After calling 911, the ambulance made its way to Randy's house, Margie called Jason's mother and told her to meet them at the hospital. As Linda's heart sank to the floor wandering if her son would make it, she made her way to the hospital.
"Jay, who did this to you man, how did this happen?" Randy asked as they were on their way to the hospital. Randy was in tears while holding Jason's hand.
Jason looked over at Randy and said "Ashley" and then he blacked out for the 4th time that night.
Randy let go of Jason's hand in disbelief and shock. As they wheeled him in to the emergency room Randy found Jason's mother with Linda and Ashley. While they were working to save Jason's life, Randy's mother was trying to calm down Jason's mother. Randy walked over to and stood in front of a teary eyed and crazed heavy breathing Ashley, but before he could even say anything.
"He was trying to fuck me and I told him no. He made me try to do other stuff and when I refused he hit me in the stomach because I told him.... Well, I'm pregnant with your baby Randy. Ashley spat out. Randy was floored with this news and baffled all at the same time.
As everyone got quite and looked at Randy and Ashley, he remembered back to what took place when Ashley stayed at his house. He also remembered it took Ashley a long time when he asked her what she was doing when she was getting on that condom.
"Fucking Bitch!" Randy thought as all eyes were still looking at him.
"She must have put a whole in that condom; damn I am a fucking idiot!" Randy thought again.
Randy got up and sat by Ashley with a sincere look on his face
"Are you sure this is true Ash? I mean, I'm not saying that we didn't do anything, but before we make any decision or plan the next move, I just want to make sure.
Then Ashley got up holding her stomach as if Jason really hit her, as she claimed, and gave a whine as if she was in pain and walked off. When she returned she had a piece of paper, and pushed it in front of Randy as to sho w she was annoyed with him.
"Here is the proof you need!" Ashley said mad and
annoyed.
She then started crying to make people feel bad for her and she sat down in the chair.
While Randy was trying to deal with what Ashley told him, everyone else then focused on what was at hand; Jason.
Margie came over to Randy and Ashley and sat down next to Randy in tears to get the story on what had happen with Ashley and Jason. She wanted to understand what Ashley was accusing Jason of. As she sat and while Ashley and Randy talked, she had a very straight and stern look on her face. It was as if she knew something was going on with her story of accusing Jason of such an act.
"Ashley sweetie, can you tell me the whole story of how Jason tried to have his way with you?"
As Ashley told Randy's mother everything, Randy just listened carefully and tried to hear every word she was saying. He and his mother wanted to know everything. While they listened, Margie just had this crazy feeling that something wasn't right with Ashley's story.
"Hello, may we have a word with you please," the detective said as he made his way over to Ashley.
While he spoke to her, the doctor came out and wanted to speak to Jason's mother.
"Your son is in stable condition but has lost a considerable amount of blood. He is in the ICU and will remain there until we get his temperature and fluid level back to where we need it."
As Jason's mother, Randy and Randy's mother listened to the doctor the Policeman came to the attention of Jason's mother Linda.
"Mrs. Doorman, we would like to talk with your son when he is stable enough... "
"What is this, why do you need to talk to Jason!" Linda said cutting the officer off.
Margie went over to comfort Linda who was still in tears and wanting to see her son.
"It's not bad enough that I lost my husband, but now
this crazy girl is accusing my son of something that he would never do. She is just crazy!" Linda screamed in tears.
"Mrs. Doorman wait, please the officer just wants to find the truth out." Randy said in the most sincere
way."
Linda just looked at Randy with sadness mixed with disbelief and anger all a t once and couldn't believe her ears. She was shocked by what Randy had just said. Even Randy's mother was surprised by he's intake.
"How could you believe what she is saying Randy, she is nothing but a crazy girl telling stories." Linda cried.
"Mrs. Doorman, I can't just take one side, I mean she has hurt me before, but she is having my kid and I just... well, I can't leave her stranded with no one on her side. But this doesn't mean that I don't still care about Jason. I just have to...." Randy spoke but was cut short when Linda got up and walked away crying with Margie walking and holding her as she went to see her son. All the while this was happening; Ashley sat and had a devilish smile on her face that no one saw and Randy stood feeling heartbroken and torn about his best friend
"This will go as planned; I have Randy right where I want him." Ashley thought, then she took her cell out to send a text.
"It's working"
By the next morning, Randy made his way to the hospital to see his best buddy. The school was notified of the accident and had made plans for his work to be put on hold.
When he went to Jason's room his heart filled with sadness. In his mind he actually believed Ashley. But in his heart he did not know who to believe. Ashley was having his baby for god's sake. As he sat there, he noticed all the tubes coming out of Jason's
body. Jason opened his eyes and looked at him, with a smile. As they looked at each other, Randy had to ask Jason the question.
"Hey buddy, I hope you aren't feeling any pain. I have a question. Basically Ashley said you tried to hurt her, which is why she stabbed you, is that true?
When Jason heard that, the heart monitor
went crazy and Randy was ordered out of the room. They calmed Jason's heart rate down and when Randy came back in, Jason was asleep.
A week had passed since the stabbing and as Randy made his way through the halls at school, people were always looking at him with questions in there eyes and wandering what happened at his home with Jason.
Randy's final Cross Country meet for the regular season was coming up before the district and regional finals and then the state finals. The team hurt badly with the loss of Jason, but it was up to Randy to bring the team together so they could make it to the State meet, which he did with having individual wins in the District and Regional Finals.
While the days went by, Ashley's mother, Pam, came up to Washington to see her daughter, who now pregnant, was staying at Randy's home. Margie has always had a dirty feeling about Ashley because of how she treated her son, but the fact that she is having her grand child, she had no choice but to listen to her. As they sat in the kitchen Ashley's mother came in and sat down. Her mother was the basic trashy type, over weight and greedy when it came to money and food. She had dirty blond hair and stained teeth that could use a cleaning.
"That black son of a bitch will pay for what he did to my little girl!" Ashley's mother spat out!
Margie turned around quickly to say something, but Randy sat there and looked at his mother in a way to tell her not to say anything with a sharp look.
"He better pray that his father had life insurance when he died because I am gong to sue the shit out of him and his mother for every penny they have!" She spat out
again in laughter and while eating pancakes and eggs, Margie had fixed.
Randy finally set up and looked Pam straight in the eyes.
" Pam, we don't talk like that in this home and I really would wish you would not speak so harsh of my
friend who is in the hospital," As kindly as he could.
It was the weekend and Margie made her way to Linda's home to visit and get an update on Jason. Randy had left for his extra day of practice because of the state finals that were
3 weeks away. This left Ashley at home and with her mother gone; she was alone. She spent her time on her cell phone like crazy. She was looking up prices of new cars and insurance. Then she got a text.
"Hey, how much do you think we will get when we sue the shit out of those black assholes" the text said.
Before she could answer the text she heard the door open and jumped out of the bed and just threw the phone under the bed and headed for the door.
"You ready to go to the police station?" Randy asked with a tired and annoyed voice.
"Yep, and then it's shopping for baby stuff," Ashley said with a happy laughter.
Randy wasn't happy at all, but he knew he was stuck and what's worse he had to go through this while his best friend might go to jail all because he attacked his baby's mother. But it just didn't make since to him.
"How could a guy I fucked and loved try and sleep with a girl he didn't even like."
Well it was too late and now he has a kid coming and had to believe her, the girl he once loved but now hated and has to love all over again. There was one thing for sure though; his mother just didn't believe anything Ashley said. They left the house and headed off to the police station riding the max line.
An hour later Randy's mother made it home and while she was walking toward her room she heard a buzzing sound coming from the room where Ashley slept. When Margie looked under the bed she saw Ashley's cell phone, and picked it up. As she opened the phone a text message appeared and she was dumb founded and shocked at what she read.
" Oh my god," was all she thought....."
I hope you guys enjoyed this part of Chapter 5. I am going to have a part 4 since this is longer than I thought, even though I said it would only be 3 Parts. Things are starting to shake up and will get very deep in the next and final part of Chapter 5. Thanks for reading and please email with any question and comments. And a big thanks to Clinton for helping me with the editing! Even on vacation, he still comes through for me!
Editors Note: Well, I have to say this chapter really sucks. I can't believe that Randy is such an ass. How can he believe that bitch Ashley? And he doesn't even talk to Jason to find out the truth. I sure
hope that Ashley gets what she deserves. How about the other person Ashley is talking to on the phone. Who could it be? Do you think it is her mother or is it someone else?
I'm not sure if Jason can or should forgive Randy for not believing him about what really happened. I do love Margie and the fact that she does not believe Ashley. Margie is the perfect person to find Ashley's cell phone and the truth. Now we should hope she goes to the police with this new found information. I am not for sure what will happen with the relationship between Jason and Randy, but hope that Ashley gets what she deserves. I am looking forward to the next chapter and hope you are as well.
