The characters within the story are actually real people that play a game, with interaction playing a game that will not be mentioned. Galaxy 81: subsystem: 114 planet: Paradise
~~~~Beep, Beep; "Commander"... "Yes Sheila, Skybarge says. " Commander, I'm not sure to be appalled or flattered, the voice says." "Why's that Sheila?" Sky says, sipping on a volcanic breeze at Paradise beach marina and casino. "I'm apparently being sold by a Ferengi named Kurza, to someone he calls; fat little man." Sky spits his drink on a hot blonde bimbo wearing little more than a shoe lace and says "what, how did he get your code" Sky asks. "Commander, I don't have a code. My design parameters are different. You do not require a key, I answer to whom I'm assigned to. At the moment that would be you during my testing phase. What should I do? There are a group of men with high powered weapons pointed at the little one with funny ears. I have raised my shields" Sheila says. "Well, JaDonia asked me to take you for a spin to work out the bugs" Sky says as he helps the hot little blond out by wiping off the volcanic breeze from her exposed skin. "Kill them Sheila" is all Sky replied. Kurza, heard a low hum and a bright flash of light blinding him and heard something sizzle. As his eyes cleared he was standing by himself wondering what just happened, as he smelled the unmistakable scent of burnt flesh. "Commander, all have been eliminated except the one with funny ears. I have him held in a suspension field" Sheila says. "I told you to kill them Sheila. Why didn't you follow my orders?" Sky says. "Commander, a replay of your orders says kill "them" not kill them "all" the ship responded." "I suppose that is technically correct, Sky says. However, why did you keep the Ferengi?" Sky asks for some understanding. "Sheila, respond please", Sky says. After a moment the ship responds; "well, well, ummm, he liked me so much he was selling me for 100 bars. I'm, I was flattered." Sky could swear he heard a little giggle in his ear piece. Shaking his head he says "Sheila has a crush, Sheila has a crush on a ferengi no less! Give me a couple minutes to wrap up here and I'll have you bring me in. Can you entertain your new found friend?" "Yes Commander. I will work on my communication skills" the ship responds. I bet you will Sky thinks, returning his attention to the object of the afternoon sitting next to him. Great, I can't move Kurza thinks to himself. What just happened he considers as he stares at the ship. "You do realize you could not have accessed the ship" a voice said next to Kurza scaring him and he let out a scream in shock." "Who are and where did you come from" Kurza says shaking visibly. "I am Sheila. I am the ship and I came from JaDonia" a figure of indescribable beauty says. "Why am I being held?, Kurza says. "I was told to kill them. You were not defined as "them." I have decided to study you" Sheila said with no sign of exactly what was meant by "study" meant. "Sheila, bring me in" the Commander says. "Yes, Commander" the ship replied and he appeared before the Ferengi and Sheila. Sky seeing the Ferengi, reaches for his laser and shoots the Ferengi at point blank range to erase any witness of the ships existence. However, the deadly beam was absorbed by an energy field. Sky looks at Sheila and simply says "why?" "I like him and he liked me enough to sell me" the ship responded. " Sheila, that's not a good thing but we can discuss it further in your continuing training. Release him and bring him on board" Sky said as he walks on the ship. ~~~~~And that's how Sky and Kurza met~~~~~
