Hello all you wonderful people. Finally after close to a year, part 3 of Jesse and Brad. I hope you're all as excited as I am. This part is slightly shorter than the first 2. I just felt that it ended pretty well. It feels like a great weight has been lifted from me. The idea of this story being left unfinished made me uneasy. I hope you like it and I'll try to be more punctual with part 4.
This story contains adult subject matter. If you are under the age of 18, please leave now. If you are offended by two males showing affection for each other, please leave now. This is my story. Please do not steal it and submit it as your own. contact me @ seamus2312@yahoo.com

Oh my God. I just quit my job. I sat in my car staring out into space. I don't know how long it was, but my cellphone brought me back to reality.
"Hello?"
"Jesse, it's Sheila. What the hell happened today?"
"What do you mean Sheil?" Let's just see how much she knows.
"You quit your job Jesse."
"How do you find this shit out?"
"That doesn't matter. What are you going to do now?"
"I don't have a clue. I have some money in savings. The house is paid for, so I don't have to worry about a place."
"Well do you plan on looking for a job?'
"Yeah I do. I'm not stupid, Sheil. I can find a job. My culinary degree isn't gonna go to waste."
Okay Jesse. I'm just worried about you, that's all."
"I know Sheil. I appreciate it."
"So what's gonna happen with Brad? You gonna stop seeing him?"
"Shit, I forgot about him. It's fucking weird. You should have seen the look on his face when I quit."
"We still need to talk about what's happening between you two."
"Sheila, there's nothing going on. We're just friends."
"Bullshit. I see the way you look at him. I've also seen the way he looks at you."
"What are you talking about?."
"He's fucking in love with you, dumb shit. You really are oblivious sometimes, you know that?"
"Whatever! You don't know what you're talking about."
"Yeah okay. Don't listen to me then."
"Look, I gotta go. I'm still at the diner. I'm going home. I need to blow off some steam."
"Okay, I call you later. You take care."
"You too Sheila. Love you, bye."
"You too, bye."
She's got no clue what she is talking about. Brad and I are just friends. Man I just need to go home. I cant think about shit right now.
I walked into my house at 5:30. 'This day really sucked' I muse to myself.
Okay so maybe I need to get online and start looking for another job. I powered up my laptop and started the search for employment.
'Man, there really isn't any call for cooks around here.'
Shit. Quitting my job may not have been my best move. I'm such a moron. My cell started ringing. 'Oh shit, it's Brad.'
"Hello?"
"Hey Jesse. What's going on?"
"Not much Brad. How about you?"
"Not much here. Rick looks like he's about to cry. I actually kinda feel bad for the guy."
"I don't. The asshole treated me like shit the entire time I worked there. He never wanted to get stuff fixed either. Whatever happens to him will be to good."
"Anyway, I was just calling to see how your were holding up."
'Omg. He's concerned about me. That is so sweet.' Ok, those voices really need to close it.
"Yeah, I'm okay man. Just frazzled."
"I also wanted to see if we were still friends." He must be really insecure about our friendship.
"Dude, of course we're still friends. Why would you think we weren't?"
"I don't know man, I'm just a little nuts I guess. Would you mind if we did something, just us?"
"Sure man. Name what and when."
"I don't know, how about a movie? I'll see what's playing and call you later. What time you going to bed?"
"I don't know. Prolly around 10 or so"
"Cool I'll call you around nine and Jesse, thanks man."
"No problem, I'll talk to you later."
"You too"
I'm really starting to wonder if Sheil's right. Na, she can't be. I spent the next three hours poring over results on job posting websites. At 9 on the dot, Brad called.
"So, you come up with a movie to see?"
"Yeah. How about 'Surrogate'?"
"Sure. I've kinda wanted to see that one."
"Cool, how about Saturday?"
"Sounds good to me. What time?"
"8:30 good for you?"
"Perfect. Meet you there?"
"Actually, could you come pick me up? My car died today."
"Sure man, no problem. Where do you live?" So brad gave me his address.
"Cool. I'll pic you up around 8:15 or so."
"Thanks Jesse. Can't wait"
"Alright, later man."
"Later"
Damn Sheila for planting that seed in my head about Brad. The truth is I like him. A lot. A lot a lot. I'm just afraid he'll find out how truly screwed up I am. When people find out that you have a mental illness, they tend to treat you differently. Now I know that its not really as bad as it used to be, but there's still some stigma attached to it. 'Maybe Brad will just want to be there for you. Why assume he'll run away?' Sometimes I feel schizophrenic.
I continued my job search for the rest of the week. Finally it was Friday. Time to party. Hey, people with depression need a sense of routine. I wouldn't want to upset that, now would I? The Chameleon was really jumping tonight. I wonder what's going on? I walk in and see that they're having a wet speedo contest.
"Hey Carl. What's going on?" I practically have to shout at him.
"Hey Jesse! I thought this would be something different. I think everyone is enjoying it."
I haven't seen this many hardons since my last orgy. I'm kidding people. I told you, I'm not that kind of girl.
"Carl, you seen Sheila?"
"Can't say that I have." My cell started ringing.
"Sheila, where are you?"
"Sorry Jesse. Can't make it tonight. Still feeling pretty crappy. And before you start, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."
"Sheila, I think you might need to go to a doctor."
"What the fuck did I say? No worrying!"
"Ok!"
"So what movie are you and Brad going to see Saturday?"
Ok, she has my cellphone tapped too.
"Do you have my whole life on tape somewhere?"
"No Jesse. I told you, I just know stuff. So what movie?"
"Surrogate."
"Ooh, that looks really good. You have to tell me about it Sunday."
"No Sheila. You have to see it yourself. You know the rule."
"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, at least tell me how the date went."
"We are just friends, Sheila!"
"Whatever. You two are seeing a movie on Saturday. That's date night."
Shit, she's right.
"No, it's not. I'd like to sit here and argue semantics all night, but I'm afraid I may end up hurting you the next time I see you."
"Whatever. You couldn't hurt a fly."
"Bye Sheila."
"Bye Jesse."
That woman drives me crazy. Suddenly I feel like going home, despite the fact that I'm in the presence of all this magnificent meat. It's a sad day in a gay man's life when hardons aren't enough to make him happy. I went home and decided to just surf the net for awhile. Maybe watch some Katy Griffin. "Suck it!" How great is that shit?
I woke up to another Saturday morning. 'Great, my date is tonight.' I know, I tried to convince myself almost as much as you guys. If it looks like a date and smells like a date, well you figure it out. Might as well try and get something constructive done today. I decide to paint my room. Shouldn't take to long, I just need to be ready before 8.
So I paint, and I paint, and I paint some more. I know, exciting right? Well, I'm not twisting your nipples into reading this thing. Go spend some time in the real world. I get finished painting by 6. 'What should I wear?' Dammit! It's not a date!
I pulled up to Brad's place at 8:07. Crap, I'm early. Now he thinks that I think that this is a date! I walked up to his door and knocked. Some guy opened the door.
"Yeah."
"Is Brad here?"
"Yeah, 'Brad!'"
"Hey Jesse. What's up? Ready to go?"
Damn he looks hot. He's wearing a red v-neck and some almost-too-tight black jeans. His hair was gelled to a point towards the front. 'Mmm, I'd love to rip those clothes off of him!' Get a fucking grip. Friends Jesse, just friends.
"Yeah man, I'm ready to go."
"Cool."
We got to the movie theater and walked in.
"Two tickets to 'Surrogate' please." Brad says.
"That'll be $18."
"Here you go, Jesse."
"Thanks Brad. Here's my half."
"Don't worry about it. You want some snacks?"
"Uh, sure. How bout I pay?"
"No Jess, I got it."
We walked up to to the snack counter.
"What do you want to drink?"
'Anything with alcohol in it.' "Uh, Sprite."
"Two large Sprites, 1 jumbo popcorn, and some snow-caps.
Oh my God. He paid for the movie, and the snacks, and he got one popcorn. This is a date. I am freaking out.
"I hope you don't mind about the popcorn. It's actually cheaper that way."
See? Logical explanation. We found our theater and grabbed some seats. I tried to sit one seat away from Brad, but it was really packed. I hope he doesn't read into this. The previews start rolling across the screen and then movie. I looked over at Brad and his eyes were glued to the screen.
'Dammit Jesse! Focus on the movie.'
I sat there thinking about everything else but.
'Am I ready for this? What happens when he finds out about my pills. Oh god, I don't think I can handle it.'
This is crazy at it's finest, folks. The movie was over about two hours later.
"What did you think Jesse?"
"Huh? Oh, the movie. It was great."
It could have been the biggest p.o.s on the planet and I would have never known.
"You ok. You seem kinda distracted."
"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little spacey, that all."
"Ok. You feel like going home or do you wanna find something else to do?"
"I don't know. What did you have in mind?"
Oh crap, he's grinning. This can't be good. We walked out to my car and Brad asked, "Can I drive?"
"Ok. Sure."
I really hope I won't regret this later.
"So we're we headed, Brad?"
"You'll just have to see when we get there."
I really hate surprises. Brad pulls the car out on to the main road. We drive forever and Brad says, "We're here."
In front of us was a huge pond.
"Come on, let's go Jesse."
"Why are we here?"
"Just come on."
Brad gets out of the car and goes over to the pond. Then he started stripping in front of me and jumped in.
'I can't believe he just did that.'
"You gonna stand there staring or are you coming in?"
"I don't know about this Brad. What if we get caught?"
"We're not gonna get caught, Jesse. Just strip and dive in."
I have never been skinny dipping in my life and I wasn't thrilled about the idea of jumping into the water naked.
"Fine. Move so I don't land on you."
And I jumped. The water was warmer than I was anticipating on.
"See, it's not all that bad."
"Speak for yourself, Brad. This is humiliating."
"Why?"
"I'm really not in all that good of shape."
"You look pretty damned good to me."
What the hell? Is he flirting with me?
"Whatever. You look a lot better."
"You think so? I didn't think that I was all that attractive."
"You're kidding right? I think you look amazing."
Shit. I went a little overboard there. Oh crap, he's grinning again. Fuck me.
"Thanks Jesse. I'm glad you wanted to come with me tonight. I've been hoping to spend some time alone with you."
"Yeah, why is that?"
"Your special. You've done nothing but tried to be my friend. You've also been really supportive with this whole gay thing I'm going through."
"It's no big deal, Brad. I remember what it was like."
"It is a big deal. You don't have to do anything for me, but you still do. That makes you special."
Ok. I have to tell you, I blush easily. Like I turn six different shade of red. Especially when people praise or compliment me. I never really had that growing up, so I'm not sure how to handle it. And right now I was the color of a stop sign.
"I also had another reason for bringing you out here, Jesse."
See, I knew it. He's gonna skin me alive and wear me like a housecoat.
"And that is?"
"I saw you. The first time I took a shower at your house, I saw you looking at me in the mirror."
Busted. Gotta remember, if you can see them, they can see you.
"Shit, I'm really sorry about that. You must think I'm a freak."
"I don't. I'm sorta glad you did. It let me know that you were attracted to me."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. This is gonna sound weird, but since I met you, I can't stop thinking about you."
Holy butt-fuck! Are you hearing this shit? I smell toast.
"Really."
"Now you think I'm a freak, don't you?"
"Yeah, I do. But that's a good thing. Cause I haven't been able to stop thinking about you."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"It took a lot for me to bring this up. I thought you would hate me."
"I thought the same thing. Wow, I can't believe this. So, you think I look pretty good?"
He busted out laughing.
"Ok, it's not that funny."
"I know. Sorry. Yes, I think you look good."
I smiled. This shit wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Now I just have to let him know about my mental health. Shit.
