Ok, I'm really sorry for all the typo's in chapter one. And I'm glad it posted good. I'm trying to find someone to copy edit for me, and have someone in mind but he's reluctant.

A story I REALLY think you should read is by my favorite writer. Just go to celebrity then boy-bands and click on the title Life With Justin, it's such a great story.

Well first I guess I should throw in all the regular crud. If your under eighteen (21 in some places) this site aint fer yer little eye's. Also for all those peeps who find this stuff distasteful or "wrong", than why are you here? Leave before you read something you don't want to. Finally, for all those who do read on and see things you don't want to, I am not responsible for that, you have been warned.

This is a work of complete fiction, nothing in it has happened. Anything that is in anyway like a real situation or person is completely coincidental. I can't stress this enough, this aint real.

In a world of unknowns I always had the fact that no one knew. Hiding brings a sense of comfort. That was slightly gone now. Someone knew. What made it worse was that he wanted me, and I wanted him more than I wanted air. For the week fallowing the day that would change my life forever, I hid. I went to work, I went out, but I never went anywhere that he would be. The people I work with took notice.

"Blake, what's wrong?" Tom, my boss, was genuinely concerned.

"I really don't want to talk about it." Well, Tom is out, and he is also the closest thing I have to a best friend. All I wanted to do at that moment was to start crying, and the prospect of going over what was up would send me over the edge.

"Uh, huh. Come with me to my office."

"Tom, I don't want to talk this over. I don't want to be consoled. All I want to do is be left alone, finish my shift, and go home!" as I said the last word, a tear just slipped out of my eye. It was taking all of my will power not to just break down then and there. He stood there just watching me, and slightly surprised. I had never said anything near as adamantly and forcefully to him, and I felt really guilty which just madethings worse.

"Blake, something's wrong, what is it?" he started towards me. I couldn't hold them back now. The tears just cascaded down my face, but the hurt, and fear that I was feeling slipped into frustration, then anger.

"Just leave me the fuck alone God Damn It! I said I don't want to talk about it. You know what, I'm gone! Fire me if you want, I'm out!" The tears had stopped, but the hurt started to come back. I threw my badge at the wall, and just stormed to the door.

There is a way that Fate can twist life into something slightly more dramatic than you can handle. As I went out the door to the store who else would be walking by but Johnny. He looked at me with a little disinterested stare, and when I saw that, everything crumbled. Everything inside of me turned hallow. All I wanted was to get away from there. To get away from Tom. To get away from Johnny. I turned and ran, no tears just pain. I ran for about half a mile, till I reached the river. I made my way to a tree and sat panting.

My cell phone started ringing, so I took it out and checked the caller ID, it was Tom. I took the battery off, and leaned back and fell asleep... crying.

I awoke about two hours later, and looked down at the river, and was captured by the way that the leaves on its surface just slowly made their way along. I wanted to be one of those leaves. I took out my cell phone, feeling better than before I had fell asleep, and dialed my voice male.

"You have three new voice messages." The automated attendant said. I quickly hit one, and listened to the first message.

"Josh, this is Tom. Don't worry your not fired. I'm so sorry if I pushed too much, I just wanted to make sure you were ok. Your obviously not. Call me when you get this message. And you don't have to work tonight if you don't want to. I'll tell everyone else you have some personal things to take care of. Call me no matter what time it is, bye." That simple thing made everything seem less overwhelming. The second message came on.

"Josh, it's Tom again. Johnny from the burger joint came in to make sure you were ok. He seemed really concerned for you and asked me to tell you to call him. He said you have the number. He's really cute so sharet hat number." I laughed as Tom chuckled in the message. "So call Johnny, and call me. Byeee." I just thought as the third message came on.

"This is Blockbuster Video; the copy of The Green Mile you rented is overdue..." I groaned and deleted the message before the person could finish. I turned and started walking back to work.

As I came to the block the book store is on, I saw flashing lights. I hurried over as someone was being wheeled out of the store on a gurney. At this point I had broken into an all out run. As I neared I saw a man in handcuffs struggling against the officers holding him. I then turned to the person on the gurney and felt my face drain, and a hollow feeling appear in mystomach.

"TOM!!!" I screamed it at the top of my lungs and just ran towards the gurney. Before I could get there, a set of hands grabbed me and held me back. I turned to the cop holding me and screamed at him, "LET THE FUCK GO OF ME! That's my friend." He kept a tight hold of me so I stomped on his foot and elbowed him in the ribs.

"OUCH!" he yelped and let go of me. I ran to Tom, with a limping cop not far behind. He was so pale. I made it up to the gurney.

"Is he ok?" I quickly asked the EMT at the back of the gurney, following them to the ambulance.

"He's really hurt, he was shot." The EMT said as we arrived at the ambulance. The cop was still there, but let me find out about my friend.

"Will he be ok?" I asked looking at Tom; he was unconscious and barely breathing. His chest was covered in blood.

"I don't know. We're taking him to the emergency room." They began to load him into the Ambulance.

"Can I come?" I asked, now in tears.

"Only family, I'm sorry." I watched as they closed the doors, and just watched as the sirens blared and they sped away.

I turned back to the cop I accosted, who was still limping, and just broke down. "Do you know where they're taking him?"

"Valley Med, but he was the only one in the store, do you work there?" he asked, a little more polite than just grabbing me as I made my way to a hurt friend.

"Yeah, I'm a key-holder there. I should probably stay and make phone calls and stuff. I need to call his parents, and my AM, and District Manager.

I saw Johnny off to the side, watching what was going on. I walked over to him. "I know you're not exactly my best friend or anything, and you're probably pissed at me. But would you mind coming to the store with me, I don't want to be alone right now."

"Yeah, sure. Is he gonna be ok?" he said concerned.

"I hope so." I replied, too numb at the moment to cry.

The hours after that flew bye. The police stayed and collected evidence. Apparently the man who shot Tom was trying to rob the place. When he told Tom to open the cash drawer, Tom got nervous and hit the buzzer for the back room when reaching for the key pad. The buzzer scared the robber and he shot Tom. A customer then smashed him over the head with a book, and called 911. The store was closed early, and the cops eventually left.

I got Ron to go over to the hospital, and called another co-worker, Jena, to come help atthe store. I then called the District Manager and told her what happened, and what hospital Tom was in, and all the while Johnny just stood quietly at the cash-wrap with me.

I looked at him and said kinda mono-tone, "You don't need to stay if you don't wanna."

"I want to." He said smiling at me. The wall I was putting up just crumbled. I went up to him and hugged him crying. He just held me. I slowly began to stop, and backed away a little. I looked into his eyes and saw something I have never seen before. I leaned in and just kissed him, he kissed back, and we were just there. I could have stayed that way forever, but he slowly ended the kiss.

"Maybe this isn't a good time. Your emotions are all mixed right now. But you can really kiss." I laughed at that, and heard a knock at the stores front door.

I went and let Jena in, and she quickly hugged me. "Is he ok? What happened? When did it happen? Did they find who did it?" she was on the verge of tears too.

"It was a botched robbery attempt. They caught the guy. Ron's at the hospital trying to find out how Tom is. I called Sue at corporate, she's gonna get back to us on what she wants us to do. I still need to call Tom's parents, but I'm waiting on what Ron finds out. I need you to call a carpet cleaner to clean up the blood." At this she just broke down, I hugged her for about five minutes, and comforted her. She calmed down, and looked at me. "I know. It'll be ok."

She nodded and started for the cash-wrap. I grabbed her knowing how she'd react to the blood stains. "Don't go there, go to the office."

She nodded and we went to the office, I got Toms personnel file and left Jena to call a carpet cleaner. I went back down to the cash-wrap and looked at Johnny. "I think she'll be ok." He nodded and took my hand in his. I smiled.

The phone rang and I ran and answered it.

"Hello? Hello?" I answered skipping the store greeting.

"Yeah, I'm calling to see if you have a book in stock." Came a woman's reply.

"Due to technical difficulties we will be closed for the rest of the day and possibly tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience." I was hoping for Ron to be on the phone.

"No problem. Have a good evening." She said then hung up.

I looked at my watch and realized it was 7:00. Johnny had stayed with me for 4 hours. "You can go home if you want."

"Nah. I doubt your gonna get to sleep to early tonight, so we're going out for coffee." He smiled at me from the spot where customers make their purchase at the register.

"Uh... I'm not out." I said knowing it would come at some point.

"Good, than you probably wont tell anyone that I'm gay." He said smiling with a slightly open mouth. I looked at him about to speak, when the phone rang.

"Ugh!" I picked up the phone. "Books Corner in Downtown, this is Blake speaking. Due to unforeseen technical difficulties the store will be closed today and possibly tomorrow, if you would like I can refer you to another location." I said answering the phone.

"It's Ron." Came the reply. My heart fell in my chest.

I was planning to have this be a whole long chapter, but my E-Mail cant send it, so i decided to cut it at the cliff hanger part, so there! lol. I may just get a new E-Mail to send from.
