Jordan
Out of everyone I could've got to be my tutor I got Josh. He was smart funny and every time I saw him my smile wouldn't go away. We hit it off right away. We even started hanging out, I was now almost ready to take my test, just a few more weeks and it would be the big day, but for now I was just enjoying my time with Josh.
Josh smiled wide while looking over my paper. "Jordan this is easily a pass." He beamed, looking up at me. "See you can do this." I smiled and scratched my shoulder. I don't know why but Josh, he made me feel a little bit I don't know shy; I think that's how I feel. "Thanks, I owe it all to you though without your help I wouldn't of stood a chance." This time I embarrassed him. He looked so cute when his cheeks burned bright red. "Hey, do you wanna go get something to eat?" I offered to drive us in my car. "You've got a car." I nodded, as we made our way down to the garage. "Yeah its nothing special, just a hand me down from my uncle." I opened the door, inside was my pride, it was a red Mazda Speed 3 with black rims and tinted windows. When I got my keys we got in and drove out onto the street. "So where do you wanna go?" I asked, while pulling up at some lights. "How about Chicago?" he asked, looking up, he looked so cute from this angle, the bright sun that was just setting casted a nice light affect. "Sure. That small restaurant in town right?" He nodded as I pulled out. When I got my speed level I pulled out a packet of cigarettes and put one in my mouth, finding my lighter after some searching around in my jeans pocket, I lit the tip. We made small talk on the way to the restaurant, when we got inside and seated I scanned the menu, all the while looking beyond the writing and at the beautiful boy sitting infront of me, I couldn't get over how great he looked, all he was wearing was a pair of tight fitting dark jeans and a thin zip up hoody. In my eyes he was glowing like an angel. "Jordan I have to get something of my chest." I sat up as he spoke. "Please don't be offended but." He paused and took a breath. "I've heard some stories about you, and well over the past few weeks... I see a totally different person." He smiled looking into my eyes, the low candlelight made his beautiful blue eyes sparkle. "Your passionate about so many things, not just boxing." I chuckled and set my menu down. "I'm not a violent person Josh." I stated. "All those stories come from rumours." He smiled and set his own menu down. "Well, can I ask you something else?" I nodded. "Have you ever wanted to take your boxing you know professional?" My lips arched into a smile "Of course I have, all the time I mean I would love to get paid to box its my passion." Josh flashed me a smile that made me shiver he cupped his hands "well, why are you trying so hard to be a mechanic when boxing is your passion?" I didn't really have an answer for him. "I guess I never thought about it, mechanic's was always my option, I was always good at it" the topic was dropped after that. We finally ordered I got a steak well done I hate it pink and Josh got the grilled chicken. We ate our meals over some light chatter about everything and anything.
I had to wipe my eyes as I held onto my gut laughing so hard. Josh was turning out to be the perfect type of person. "Oh god I cant breath!" I gasped falling onto my bed; he fell back onto the sofa giggling himself. "I can't believe he actually asked for a dildo pump." I gasped between breaths. "Foreigners who don't learn to speak English and that's what they get." I wiped my eyes one last time and sat up. "Oh is this your girlfriend?" Josh asked, picking a picture up I had on my nightstand. It was of me with my arm around a brown haired girl, she was pretty but the thought made my stomach turn. "No! That's my sister gross." Josh blushed and giggled. "Sorry I didn't know you had a sister." He put the picture back and sat on the bed with me. "Yeah she lives out in Driffield with her husband and three kids." He whistled. "Three kids" I nodded and smiled. "Good as gold though." He crossed his leg over the other. At that moment I couldn't pry my eyes from his perfect frame. "What about you" I asked, catching him off guard, I need to dig a little deeper. "Girlfriend?" I backed up my question. He blushed lightly. "Oh no erm I'm more of the other field." Score! "Oh really?" He started to get really nervous, I could tell by the look in his eyes. "Chill I'm ok with it, so are you seeing anyone?" Josh nodded slowly. "Yeah." He didn't seem too happy about it. "The Muslim on your mechanics course, Salfraz." My jaw dropped, I had my suspicion about him, but why would Josh go for a guy like him. "Josh are you serious, that guys bad news." He frowned. "I know but." I cut him off. "He's always coming to college with overly stuffed pockets, either full of drugs or money why are you dating him?" Josh shrugged. "He's pretty cute and he asked me out." Just by that tone I could tell he wasn't happy with the relationship. He continued to explain how Salfraz always brought trouble into his and his parent's home. He would go there when he's in trouble, or go to Josh when he needed money, that he owes people. "Why do you stay with him?" I had a feeling I was going a little too deep, but I had to know why such a beautiful young person like Josh, would be with someone like him. "He's the only person who actually loves me." I couldn't stop it from coming out, it just slipped and before I could change my words, it was already too late. "He doesn't even love you like you deserve to be loved." He looked up at me with wide eyes, I saw a mix of emotions in those eyes, he looked hurt that I said he wasn't loved, he looked shocked that I thought he deserved a lot better and he was confused as to why I would say anything like that. He shifted for a second the room was silent, until he stood up and grabbed his hoody. "I should go." Was all he said as he hurried out of my room, down the stairs and out I tried to stop, him but when I reached the open door he was gone.
The test came and went, I passed with flying colours, but still not even that could lift my spirits. I haven't seen Josh in about a week now, he hasn't even shown up at college, by Friday I was really getting worried. I was just working on my tutor's jeep; a part of his body had rusted, over the winter. He wanted me to repair it, the job didn't take me to long. I had just finished wielding the thin piece of metal into place when I heard footsteps behind me. "Before you start bitching, it's already done." I said pushing my wielding mask up. "I wasn't planning on it." A soft sweet voice said I turned around and saw Josh smiling weakly, I couldn't help but smile back I stood up and took my gloves off, dropping the wielder. "Josh erm what's up?" I asked he shrugged. "Jake told me you passed your test." He smiled as I nodded. "That's great then." A slight blush came across my cheeks. "Well I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help." He giggled and walked past me, towards the raised jeep. "So, this is what you do all day huh?" I turned around just in time to see his finger pressed against the wield. "No stop!" There was a sizzling sound; he quickly retracted his finger, holding it close to his chest. "Ah!" I rushed over and took his hand holding his finger out, without thinking I stuck it into my mouth, just the tip he gasped but didn't move. After a few seconds I took my mouth away and blew on his finger. "Josh you need to be more careful." I said grabbing a first aid box. He was blushing as I rubbed some gel onto his burn. "Thank you." He said softly holding his hand to his chest, I sighed and leaned against the bench smiling. "I thought you were smart." He blushed and hit my right peck, I laughed rubbing were he had just hit. "I'm sorry about the other week." he caught me off guard, I looked up away from my boots. "I over reacted, I should've stayed and talked it out." My hand reached up to rub my short hair. "But Jordan you have to understand Salfraz is the only person who truly loves me." This isn't happening again, I'm going to say what I should've said before. "Josh that isn't true I." Gulping as Josh stepped forward I mustered up all my courage "I love you Josh." His eyes got wide and his step went back to were he was standing "Jor..." I pushed myself up off the bench and wrapped my arms around his slim body, leaning down our lips touched, his body tensed up in my hands. I could feel him start to relax as the kiss got deeper we didn't go beyond just lip touching, but it was the best thing I had ever felt. When I pulled off I was nervous and waiting for a slap, but he just looked up at me with starry eyes, I didn't want us to share this moment in a dirty garage. "Listen, this isn't the best place to talk about this kind of stuff." I reached out and took his hand. "How about we go out for something to eat tonight, just me and you, and we have a nice long talk about this?" After a few seconds he nodded, a smile spread across my lips "Great how about I pick you up at seven?" again all he could do was nod, with that we said goodbye and even hugged before he left, I defiantly felt good after that even if I just practically threw myself onto him. He had a shocked look on his face when I confessed my feelings to him, even though there's a good chance he will reject me, I have a good feeling we will stay bestfriends and I guess I am ok with just that.
Sorry this chapter took so long guys, college has been chewing my ass again. Anyway first kiss! Isn't it exciting, Well like before I enjoy feed back comments things you like things you don't, maybe even give me a few ideas I've been suffering a lot from writers block.
