Author's Note:
I'm so sorry, guys for the delay on this story. I don't know what happened to me lately, a little bit busy and not in the mood in writing anything. Until I got an email from my special reader, this person is actually waiting for my story. Thanks for your great support, so here you go! And guys...I have a confession to make; I think this is the right time to reveal my identity, I'm tired of fooling some people :) I'm Tonny, I'm also the author of 'When You Say Nothing At All'. I'm sorry if this story doesn't meet your expectation. Honestly, at the moment, I'm not such a big fan of BSB, I LIKE N'SYNC more [I have this string attached to them]. I don't know why how I end up with writing BSB's story now.
Anyway enough with my babbling, let's start!

Previously on 'La Vita E Bela':
Kevin stood up from his chair and knelt down in front of me.
"Dav, I know that we just met ... ummm ... why don't you and Rachel move in with us?" Kevin asked me and Nick nodded his approval.
"Thanks for the offer, guys. I'm not rich and famous, but we are okay. I've been facing a lot of things over the past 8 years, but look at us now, we survived!" I smiled at him.
"But at least you can consider it for Rachel," Nick knelt in front of me, to persuade me.
"NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE RACHEL AWAY FROM ME!" I told them sternly.
"I'm not saying take Rachel away from you. I'm just thinking about what's best for her, I'm sure you have the same thought," Nick argued with me. I was just silent.
"Yeah, we haven't known you for long, but we want to help you," Kevin added.
"But I don't need help; we are okay," I said desperately. "You can help me by not telling anyone about us. Please?" I looked at each of them. "I'm tired of moving around and getting new jobs."

Chapter 3: Things Will Never Be the Same Again
Day after day, Nick and Kevin visited us regularly, even when they were out of town, they managed to write us letters. Sometimes the guys spoiled my sister too much, I even had to stop Nick from bringing Rachel stuff. In many ways, we became like a close family.
In the early morning, Nick came to our flat alone. It was 6 am, actually I was quite surprised--I mean, Nick? At 6 am? It was like seeing snow in the Sahara.
"Morning!" Nick greeted me as I opened the door.
"Hey Nick! Come in," I let him in, and I closed the door. "Should I be surprised seeing you this early? Or Am I still dreaming?" I joked.
"Daveeee, knock it off!" Nick giggled. "Anyway, where is Rachel?"
"Oh she's still sleeping. How can I help you Mr. Carter?" I smiled at him, "It's gotta be damn important for you to come here during your sleeping time."
"You bet!" Nick said yawning. I giggled.
"Coffee?" I asked him.
"Please," he nodded. I gave him a cup that he sipped right away.
"So?" I looked at him and waited for his news.
"Well the guys asked me to ask you and Rachel to come tonight," Nick sipped his coffee again.
"Why?" I confused.
"Today is Kevin's birthday, so we are going to have a surprise party for the old man." I giggled when he called Kevin 'old man'. "So can you come?"
"I'm sorry Nick, I can't. I have work at McDonalds," I replied.
"Can you take a day off, please? Come on? Kevin hates his birthday, but if he sees you and your sister, he won't hate it," Nick persuaded me.
"I can't Nick. I'm sorry," I apologized to him. "This is Saturday; it's gonna be really busy,"
"Well okay ... I understand," Nick said sadly.
"Sorry Nick," I looked at him, and he nodded. "Can you tell Kevin 'Happy Birthday' for me? I'm sorry I can't give him anything,"
"That's okay," Nick smiled at me.
I heard Rachel coming into the kitchen, and she saw Nick.
"Nick?" she rubbed her eyes.
"Morning Rachel." Nick got up from his chair to meet my sister.
"What are you doing?" she asked him.
"Why? Can't I visit you anymore?" Nick asked her back sadly.
"Sure, but at 6 am?" Rachel teased him now, and I laughed.
"Hey! I can wake up at 4 am if I want to," Nick said to us proudly. "Well I'm came to discuss something with your bro here," Nick explained to her.
"Okay, I have to go to work," I told them.
"May I stay here for a while with your sister?" Nick asked me.
"Well ..."
"Pleaseeee Dave?" Nick gave me his best puppy-dog look, and my sister helped him with her looks too.
"Okay, Okay! But Rach, you can't go anywhere," I told my sister.
"YES SIR!" My sister saluted me, and Nick giggled.
"Okay, have your breakfast, take a shower, and don't forget to brush your teeth. I'll be back a little bit later--around 7 perhaps." I kissed my sister goodbye. "Okay, see ya later Nick!"
"Bye Dave," Nick waved and closed the door.
"Rachhhh, do you wanna do something really fun today?" Nick smiled at her as she looked at him confusedly.
At 7:15 pm, I managed to get home as I had promised my sister. I opened the front door, I was surprised as hell. Everybody--all the guys--were there. I saw decorations hanging all over my small flat.
"Dave, you're back!" Rachel ran to me; I was still stunned seeing all of this.
"Am I on Candid Camera?" I asked them.
"Well since you couldn't come to our house, we decided to bring the party here," Nick replied.
"This was absolutely not my idea. They gave me this surprise. I hope you don't mind all of this mess," Kevin stood in front of me.
"No ... not at all. Oh yeah, Happy Birthday," I congratulated him.
"Thanks," Kevin smiled at me.
I don't know why but every time he looked at me, I saw something in his eyes that made me really uncomfortable. However, I did my best to ignore it.
"Okay cuz! Let's blow out the candles," Brian called his cousin.
"Yeaaaaahhh!" Rachel jumping up and down.
As a matter of fact, she was the first person who sang the birthday song; then all of us followed her lead. After Kevin made his wish, he blew out the candles, and we all cheered. Then he cut the cake.
"And who gets the first piece?" Brian asked him.
Kevin looked at me for a minute or so, again I hated his stare, so I just looked down at the floor. He walked in my direction.
"Of course I have to give it to the most lovely girl in this room," Kevin knelt down to give the first piece to Rachel, who was standing next to me. Rachel was blushing badly. I could see the color in her face, and all of us laughed to see this.
"Thank you," she said finally and gave Kevin a quick kiss.
After an hour or so, we were all full. I looked at my sister, I think she had the best time ever.
"Hey guys, you all wanna see around the city at night?" AJ popped up with the idea.
"I WANT! I WANT!" Rachel put her hand on the air.
"Daveeeee, I wanna goooo," she whined to me.
"Do you know what time it is?" I asked her.
"Come on, Dave. Tomorrow is Sunday. She's never seen the city at night," Howie backed up for her.
"Can I, pleaseeeeee?" Rachel used that look again to persuade me.
"Okay, okay, but you should behave okay?" she nodded, I looked at the guys. "Please take care of her, and I want her back by 10 pm. I think an hour and half is enough time."
"Aren't you coming with us?" Nick asked me.
"No, thanks Nick. I'm tired, and I need to clean up," I replied.
"In that case, I'll help you," Kevin jumped in.
"No, that's fine. You have fun with the guys," I told him.
"That's okay, I have to help you--I mean this is my party, and this is your place--that's the least I can do to show my appreciation," he added.
"Well, it's up to you," I said.
"Okay we're leaving now," Brian called.
"Have fun," I smiled to my sister, and she nodded.
I watched the five of them leave and head to their car. I waved at them as the car left, then I went back to my flat. Kevin and I were left alone in the flat-- I didn't know what to say to him. I saw him starting to pull down all the balloons.
"So this is your big day hey?" I started the conversation as I collected all the dirty plated on the table.
"Not really, it's just the same day as yesterday and tomorrow, the only difference is that I'm a year older," he joked.
"Well age is just a number," I replied.
"So do you have a girlfriend?" Kevin asked me all of a sudden. I didn't know where it came from, but I froze for a minute or so. Kevin stared at me.
"No," I replied softly as I cleaned the table.
"Why?" he asked me again.
"Why what? Oh. Please, no one loves me," I replied, and Kevin looked at me. "I don't know what love is, and I don't have time for it."
"What if someone loves you?" he asked again, "Would you consider the person?"
"I don't know." I tried not to look at him.
"What about me?"
When I heard the last question, it was like getting an electric shock all over my body. I dropped the plate that I had been holding in my hand. I quickly knelt to pick up the shards of china from the floor, but I did it in such a hurry that I cut my finger and started bleeding.
"Ouch!" I dropped the pieces.
"Are you okay?" Kevin rushed to me. "Your finger is bleeding, Dav," he said as he took my hand and sucked my finger to clean the blood.
I didn't know what to do at that moment--I just saw him sucking my finger and spitting the blood.
"Do you have a Band-Aid?" he asked me.
He was staring at me, and now I could stare at him. At that moment, something 'clicked' inside me. I can't describe the feeling, but something inside me told me 'I like this guy'.
Kevin came closer to me and moved forward. He leaned in and kissed my lips. At first I was frozen like a statue, but finally I returned his kiss.
After five minutes or so, he stopped it. We got up and he took me to the bedroom, he started to unbutton my shirt. Again, I didn't know what to do, I wanted to stop him, but I was under his spell. After he finished with mine, he did the same with his clothes. Never in my entire life had I stood naked in front of anyone. I was so nervous, but his charm comforted me. Then I had a second thought.
"Kev, I don't know about this. I've never done it before," I said to him.
"You know that I love you, and you love me too," he replied and stared at me. Then we kissed again.
ONE HOUR LATER
We finally did it. He was my first. The chemistry is very hard to describe--it happened so quickly. Kevin got up from the bed and starting putting his clothes back on.
"Where are you going?" I asked him.
"The guys and your sister will be back pretty soon, you don't want them to know about this right?" he explained.
"Oh okay," I tried to stand up and get my clothes, but I felt a little bit sore on my back.
"Are you okay?" Kevin asked me.
"Yeah, a little bit sore," I replied.
"Don't worry, it will go away. You were great. I love you," he kissed me. I just smiled at him and put my clothes on.
We had a few minutes left before the guys and my sister got back, so we cleaned up the mess. The guys came back on time. I opened the door, and Nick carried my sister in.
"She's sleeping," Nick whispered to me.
Nick took her to her bed and tucked her in. Nick kissed her before he left.
"Sorry Dave, I guess she got overly excited from the whole day. She's been sleeping on the way back," Brian said.
"That's okay. Thanks guys," I told them.
"No problem," Howie replied.
"Well it's late, we should go back, guys," Kevin spoke up, "We need to go, Dave."
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Goodnight Dave," they said in unison.
"Goodnight guys," I said, and I looked at Kevin. Kevin mouthed 'I love you'. I just smiled at him.
As they all left my flat, I closed the door. I cringed, as I felt sore again. 'What have I done?' I asked myself, then I decided to take a shower to clean myself. 'Is this what people call love?'
