Lance and Michael: Lance's Love Chapter Two "When Two Become One"
August 17, 1999, Phoenix, Arizona
--Journal Entry, August 17, 1999. We're in Phoenix today. It's hard to believe that I've been interning for the 'N Sync tour for almost two weeks. The time has warped by. And so much has happened! Working with Melinda is a blast. I've had so much fun with her. The rest of the production crew is great, too. Dave, the Stage Manager, told me that if I play my cards right he'll let me call a show one night. That would be intense! The guys have been great. Chris and Joey kidnap me every chance they get to play video games or go to the movies. There's never a dull moment with those two. JC is always there if I ever need anyone to talk to. He and I have become good friends. He's been a big help in sorting out my thoughts on life. Things are still a little tense between Justin and me. He's taken some time to try to get to know me, but I can tell he's still a little uncomfortable with Lance and me. Ah, Lance. -
Michael McCall looked away from his laptop screen and out the window of the bus. He smiled, seeing the five members of 'N Sync playing basketball outside the bus. Turning his attention back to his computer, he took a swig of his coke and continued to type.
--Then there's Lance. If you had told me at the beginning of the summer that one of the hottest boy band members would fall madly in love with me, I would have laughed in your face. Funny how life can be. I wasn't even on the job for eight hours when I found myself outside my hotel room with his tongue down my throat. Not that I was complaining. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't attracted to him. His talent and intelligence is packaged in a nearly perfect physical form. And those eyes! I could write a novel about his eyes! Stick to the topic, McCall. I hadn't known Lance twenty-four hours when he told me that he had fallen for me. I knew then that I was in trouble. In the nearly two weeks since we've met, Lance has made sure that we've spent almost every waking (and sometimes sleeping) moment together. Most of the time we just sit around and talk about each other's lives. When we aren't talking, we're kissing. And damn, can he kiss.
I have to say that I've impressed myself with my own self-control. I've had to fight every urge to jump into bed and have my way with him. I know that he wouldn't mind, but I really want to do this right. You see, as much as I've tried to fight it...I've started to fall for Lance. I hope that this isn't a bad thing. Ever since Andy I haven't allowed myself to fall for anyone. Andy...--
Michael pushed himself away from the computer and sighed. "Let's not go there." He mumbled to the empty bus. Glancing outside, he saw that the guys had headed in to start their dance rehearsal. The intern quickly saved his journal document and powered down the computer. "Let's go work out." He said, grabbing his bag and heading out of the bus.
"Oooooh Yesss!" Lance moaned throwing his head back against his pillows. Taking a deep breath, he looked up to see Michael moving over him. He went down Lance's body, placing tender kisses on his nipples and chest. When Michael's tongue reached out and licked the tip of Lance's pulsating member, Lance reached down and pushed his head down further. Michael sucked Lance into his mouth, one testicle at a time, and ran his tongue over the tiny wrinkles on the small nuggets. His fingertips ran up and down the singer's thighs in rhythm with his tongue, then he licked the underside of his shaft. Then he took Lance's entire length into his mouth and sucked him breathless. Michael's slippery wet mouth was blazing hot as his tongue danced circles around the sensitive head of Lance's cock.
"Oh, Michael," Lance moaned aloud, letting his hands roam over his own sweaty chest. Lance felt so good that he actually had one "false alarms" before his real orgasm began taking over his body. He stiffened up and his legs shook like crazy as his hot cum spurted into Michael's mouth! Lance's arms fell down at his sides and he grabbed two handfuls of the bedsheets to try to regain some control of his body again. Lance's cock was jerking with painful sensitivity! Michael started working his tongue quickly over the circumcised ridge and Lance's body began thrashing wildly!
"Yes!" he screamed.
Through the fog of afterglow, Lance heard his name. "Lance!"
"Lance!" this time the voice seemed farther away, and it wasn't Michael's.
"Lance! Dammit! Wake up!" JC yelled shaking Lance by the shoulders. "We told you only a five minute break."
"What?" Lance groaned. "Huh? Shit."
JC reached down and pulled Lance to his feet. "We're supposed to be rehearsing the new choreography, remember?"
"Yeah. Sorry." Lance apologized, rubbing his eyes. "I must've fallen asleep."
JC led Lance out of the dressing room into the hall. "Must've been some dream." He smiled.
"What?"
"You're sportin some serious wood there, Scoop." JC laughed.
Lance looked down and tried to cover the bulge in his jeans. "Damn."
"I don't have to guess who you were dreaming about." JC continued his harassment. "So...Have you guys done it yet?"
"What?" Lance responded absentmindedly.
"Have you guys fucked?"
Lance stopped dead in his tracks, staring at his friend. "JC! I can't believe you said that. No wait. I can."
Lance shook his head and continued to the rehearsal hall. JC quickly followed with an even bigger smile on his face. "Well, have you?"
"Not that it's any of your business." Lance stated. "No, we haven't."
"But you guys have been together for almost two weeks."
"So," Lance shrugged his shoulders, opening the door to the rehearsal hall.
"It's about time you fags got here." Justin exclaimed as Lance and JC entered.
Joey hit Justin in the shoulder. "Justin!"
"It was a term of endearment!" Justin defended himself.
Chris turned off the cassette player and got everyone's attention. "C'mon guys. We need to rehearse these new moves. We've only got two weeks till the MTV awards and we've got to look good."
"Yeah," Joey agreed. "This time we'll actually have back up dancers who can make us look bad."
Without further argument, the five singers positioned themselves in the center of the room ready to dance. In the back of the room, band members and roadies were taking advantage of the weight equipment and getting a quick workout.
Lance hit his mark as the music began. He always hated learning new choreography, but it was nice to finally be doing something different. As the guys started to dance, Lance saw Michael enter the rehearsal hall. A smile grew on his face as he tried to make eye contact while he danced. Unfortunately, Michael wasn't paying much attention to the guys. Lances watched as the intern sat down on the floor and begin doing sit-ups.
"Hey!" Justin yelped as Lance danced into him. "Pay attention, Lance!"
"Sorry." Lance apologized, returning his attention to the task at hand.
Michael finished his third set of sit-ups and drew his knees up to his chest. After a minute, he rolled to a seated position and straddled his legs out to the side. Feeling comfortable with the stretch, he slowly lowered his chest to the ground in front of him.
"Doing a Gumby impression, McCall?" Melinda questioned as she plopped down on the floor next to her intern.
"Funny." Michael responded, propping himself up on his elbows. "You've read my resume...you know I used to be a dancer."
Melinda let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, my intern the triple threat. With all that performing you did, how did you end up doing backstage work?"
Michael pondered the question for a moment. "I don't know. Just liked backstage stuff better."
"How are the guys doing?" Melinda asked pointing to the guys as they danced.
"Not too bad." He answered. "Lance seems to be having a hard time with the second combination. I don't think he's paying much attention to what they're doing."
"Hmmm, I wonder why?" Melinda asked in mock sarcasm.
The duo watched the members of Nsync complete their routine then gave them some applause. The guys turned and bowed while trying to catch their breath.
"What do you think?" Joey asked.
"Michael, here, was just saying that you guys looked pretty good." Melinda began. "But he thinks that Lance should pay attention to what he's doing."
Michael shot Melinda a glare. "Thanks, Mel." He said through clenched teeth, seeing the hurt on Lance's face. "I owe you one."
Melinda got up to talk to Justin as Lance broke away from the group to get some water. Grabbing a bottle, he tipped his head back and downed half of it. He felt Michael's hands on his shoulders and jerked away.
"Hey." Michael said softly, placing his hands on Lance's hips. "I'm sorry. I just meant..."
"You thought I sucked." Lance took another drink of his water.
"That's not what I said, and you know that." Michael responded, locking eyes with Lance. "I said that I felt that you weren't paying much attention to doing the dance. You seemed distracted by someone."
Lance looked away then back at the intern. He knew that Michael was right. He also knew that he couldn't be mad at him. "You did look good doing those sit-ups." Lance chuckled. "And seeing how flexible you are was a bit distracting."
Michael smiled and gave Lance a quick hug. "Truth be told, I only came in here so I could watch your ass while you danced."
"Really?"
"Yes." Michael answered. "You need some help with the choreography?"
"What makes you think you could help him?" Justin asked from behind Lance.
"I've been watching you guys do it for the last half hour. I think I've picked up a little."
Justin rolled his eyes. "So you're the dancing intern now?"
Michael let out an impatient sigh. "If you don't believe me...test me."
"Okay." Justin snorted moving towards the boom box. "Lance you sit down by the mirror and Mike here can take your place."
"Justin..." Lance began.
Michael waved a hand towards Lance. "It's okay. I'll do it."
"From the top guys!" Justin said with a raised voice.
JC, Joey and Chris all took their positions with some question as to why Michael was in for Lance. The music started and JC began to sing. Lance sat in front of the mirror and pulled his knees up to his chest. He watched Michael intently as he went through the choreography with ease. A smile grew over Lance's face when the guys reached the middle of the routine and Michael was still keeping up with the guys. Lance could see the disappointment on Justin's face and that made him happy.
The drumbeats grew in volume as the guys hit each position, nearing the end of the song. Then, with the end of the music, they hit their pose. Lance clapped in triumph. "Yes!" He cheered, getting to his feet.
Michael bent over with his hands on his knees to catch his breath. JC, Joey and Chris all moved around him, patting his back in congratulations. Justin dropped his head and returned to the boom box. He turned back to see Michael looking at him with a wide grin. Justin shook his head and finally smiled.
Lance made his way over to Michael and jumped on his back. "Didn't he do good?"
"Yeah he did." Joey joined in.
"Thanks guys." Michael stood, keeping Lance on his back.
Lance kissed his neck with a smile. "And he's my boyfriend."
The guys were interrupted my Melinda clearing her throat. "Okay guys, I need my intern back now. You can play with him later."
"Yes mom." They all answered in unison.
"Hey JC! Where've you been?" Michael asked as JC entered the stage area. "Sound check started five minutes ago."
"Sorry." JC apologized, grabbing his ear monitors from the sound board.
"Looking for tonight's conquest?" Michael joked.
JC smiled and came up behind the intern, wrapping his arms around him. "I dunno, Michael...I think that you'll do for tonight."
"Yeah right." The intern laughed trying to wiggle away from the singer.
JC tightened his hold on Michael and pushed his hips into Michael's backside. "I just figured that since you and Lance aren't fucking...you might want to give me a try."
Feeling JC's swelling cock grind into his ass, Michael struggled harder to escape his grasp. "Now you're creeping me out, JC."
"C'mon, Mikey. It'll be great."
"JC...Let go of me." Michael said his temper close to boiling.
"Hey guys." Lance said, coming off of the stage. "What's going on?"
JC quickly let go of Michael and smiled at his friend. "Nothing Lance. I was just giving Michael a hard time about his dancing." With that, JC headed out to the stage for his sound check.
Michael picked up his clipboard and watched JC leave. Lance could see that he was upset. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah." Michael huffed. He let out a breath then looked into Lance's eyes. Instantly his nerves settled and he smiled. Taking a quick look around to make sure that no one was looking, Michael leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on Lance's lips.
"What was that for?"
"No reason." Michael shrugged. "Now get out there and finish your sound check."
"Okay," Lance smiled. "Dinner tonight?"
"Of course."
Lance entered the production office carrying a tray of food. He saw Michael sitting in front of the computer typing and laughing. Lance set the tray down on the desk and took a seat next to the intern.
"I thought we were meeting for dinner." Lance sighed.
"Sorry." Michael apologized as he continued to type. "I was moderating Joey's yahoo chat."
"Joey finished twenty minutes ago."
"I know." Michael groaned. "I've been fielding questions since then."
"Tell them that you have to go to dinner now."
Michael flashed a smile at the singer, then spoke as he typed. "He guys. Lance just came in and said I have to go to dinner now."
Lance giggled slightly. "What did they say?"
Michael's eyes scanned the screen. "It's a mixture of 'I love you Lance', 'Marry me Lance', and 'Tell Lance to chill out'."
Lance stood behind Michael and began to rub his shoulders. "Tell them that I want to spend time with my boyfriend."
"If you insist." Michael replied as he began to type. "Sorry guys, Lance says I have to go now we can go have wild monkey love."
"You did not just write that!"
Michael laughed aloud. "Nope. But I did sign out."
Lance returned to his chair and handed Michael the tray of food. "Though I wouldn't mind some of that wild monkey love." He said with a grin.
"I'm sure you wouldn't." Michael stated as he began to eat. "You eat already?"
Lance nodded. "Yup. While I was waiting for you."
"Sorry."
"It's okay." Lance reassured him. "How's your day been?"
Michael shrugged. "Okay. Nothing spectacular. Yours?"
"Just wishing I had seen more of you today."
"Are getting mushy on me, Mr. Bass?"
Lance looked to the floor then back at Michael. "I can't help it, Michael..." he began, his accent getting a little thicker. "I just want to be with you."
"I know."
"Do you?" Lance asked flatly.
"What?" Michael asked in surprise.
"Do you know how much I want to be with you? And I don't mean hanging out with you or working with you." Lance said, tears welling up in his eyes. "I want to love you. To make love to you. I want to show you how deeply I care for you. Both emotionally and physically.
"I've spent the last week 'taking it slow', and 'getting to know you' just like you asked. I think I know you pretty well by now." Lance's voice became softer. "I know that I'm in love with you."
Michael sat back in his chair in shock. He knew that Lance wanted their relationship to go to the next level, but he had no idea the depth of the singer's emotions. Looking into Lance's green eyes, Michael could tell that he was hurting. Michael leaned forward and took Lance's hands into his own.
"Lance," Michael began just as the office phone began to ring. "Shit."
"Don't answer it." Lance ordered.
Michael picked up the phone and looked at Lance. "I'm on the clock. I have to answer it."
"Fine."
"McCall here." Michael said into the phone. A moment later, Michael's face brightened. "Tyler! I was gonna call you tonight. Hang on a second."
Michael pressed the hold button and returned the phone to its base. "It's my room mate, Tyler. I want to introduce you to him."
Lance set out a heavy sigh and sat back in his chair. Michael groaned audibly and took the singer's hands in his again. "Look at me."
Lance rested his head against the wall, looking away from Michael.
"Look at me!" Michael repeated sternly. After a moment, Lance lowered his head and locked eyes with the intern. "I want to finish what we've started here. Tonight. I promise."
"Fine." Lance huffed and began to leave.
Michael grabbed Lance's arm and pulled him close. "I mean it, Lance. I want to continue this conversation. You've brought up some valid questions that I want to answer. Just know that I do care about you too."
Before Lance could protest further, Michael pulled him closer and pressed his lips to the singer's. Michael's tongue snaked its way into Lance's mouth and parried with his tongue for a moment.
"Now sit." Michael smiled, pulling away. "I want you to meet my room mate."
Lance sat back down with a smile on his face as Michael pressed the button for the speaker phone.
"Ty..." Michael began. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Will you and Alyx be able to make the concert in Anaheim?"
--Wouldn't miss it for the world, dude.-- Tyler's voice came over the speaker. -Especially Alyx. You know how gaga she is over those guys you work for.-
Michael chuckled slightly. "Cool. Because there's someone I want you guys to meet." He eyes met Lance's, "Someone special."
--Don't try to snow me with that lie about you dating one of the guys.-- Tyler's laugh echoed through the office. -I ain't buying it.-
"Well believe it, Tyler." Lance broke in with a grin. "It's all true."
--What? Mikey, who's in there with you?-
"Tyler Donovan, I'd like you to meet Lance Bass of Nsync." Michael said with pride.
"Nice to meet you Tyler." Lance laughed.
--Shit, man.-Tyler was at a loss for words. -You weren't lying?!-
"I told you I wasn't."
Lance quickly reached for the phone and picked up the receiver. Seeing the look of terror on Michael's face only made Lance's smile broaden. "So, Tyler. You and I are gonna have to get together soon so you can give me all the dirt on your room mate."
Michael dove for the phone, but Lance dodged away with ease. Lance smiled and pushed the intern back. "Yes, Tyler. You should see his face right now. He's trying to get the phone away from me."
Michael huffed and plopped back down into his chair. Lance laughed triumphantly and sat down. "But I have to say...he looks so cute when he's frustrated!" Lance leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on the intern's cheek. "As much fun as this is, Tye...I gotta go get ready for meet and greet. I'll see you tomorrow."
Lance handed the phone back to Michael. "I'll see you later."
"Bye, babe." Michael answered, putting the phone up to his ear. "Hey Tyler. Yeah, he's cool. But that accent is what sends me over the edge."
Lance shook his head with laughter and left the office. Michael pushed the door closed with his foot and turned his attention back to the phone. "I'm glad you called. I need a favor..."
Lance walked into the dressing room and sat down with a light sigh. Chris looked up from the floor where he was playing with Busta and raised an eyebrow.
"What's up, Scoop?"
"I just can't wait until tomorrow night." Lance swooned. "Finally a night off that I can spend alone with Michael."
Chris crawled over to the couch and pulled himself up next to his friend. "Sorry to break the news to you, Lance...But we don't have tomorrow night off."
"We're in Anaheim tomorrow, right?"
"Yup."
Lance reached over to the table where his day planner was and opened the calendar. "We have tomorrow off. I've got it right here."
Chris shook his head and pulled a memo off of the table. "They gave us this two days ago. We have a charity dinner to attend tomorrow night."
"No!" Lance exclaimed, throwing his head back into the couch. "All I want is one night alone with Michael. Is that too much to ask?"
"I'm sorry, Lance." Chris apologized. He looked into the blonde's eyes and saw the pain building up. Chris reached out and patted Lance on the knee. "You really love him, don't you."
Lance nodded slowly. "With all my heart, Chris. I can't explain it. But ever since he walked into my life, I haven't been the same. I had just broken up with Danielle and was so confused because deep down, I knew I was gay. No sooner do I come to this conclusion...he walks in.
"From the moment he walked into that dressing room, I was captivated. From his brown hair to his California tan...those green eyes...(sigh) oh those eyes...and his smile! I melted when he smiled at me and shook my hand. There was this...connection when we touched. Like I said, I can't explain it. I've just known from the time we met, that I loved him."
Chris watched Lance as he spoke. The singer's green eyes had a bright sparkle in them as he spoke of the intern. And his face showed no worries, only love. This made Chris smile. His friend was happy and in love...this made him happy. Chris reached over and pulled Lance into a hug.
"I'm happy for you, Lance." He said with a smile. "I was worried about you for a while. You never seemed happy. But that's all changed. You're in love. I can see that in the way your face lights up when you see him or talk about him."
Lance wiped the tears off of his cheeks. "Thanks for listening, Chris. I appreciate it."
Joey Fatone made his way towards the production office with a happy grin on his face. He paused momentarily to adjust his "S" shield necklace so that it was facing the right way then rounded the corner to the office. The office door was closed. This was no surprise to him. The production staff was known for keeping the office door closed to drown out the noise that came from the stage area. What surprised him were the sounds coming from the office.
Joey stepped closer to the door to listen more closely. On the other side of the door, he heard the sounds of the NSYNC album playing through the CD player. After a moment, he was able to make out the song. Then he heard the extra voice. Joey let out a quiet giggle with the realization that one of the production staff was in the office singing "Drive Myself Crazy" along with the CD.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Joey silently turned the doorknob and cracked the door open slightly. Peering inside, Joey saw Michael McCall sitting in front of the computer singing and mimicking JC's movements to the song. A smile grew over Joey's face and he silently cursed himself for not having a camera.
"Why didn't I know it," Michael sang (not entirely on key) to the computer screen. "Why couldn't I show it...When I had the chance. Oh I had the chance."
Joey took that moment in the song to burst into the room. "AH-HA!"
Michael was caught off guard and jumped in surprise, falling to the floor. "Shit!"
"The truth comes out!" Joey was doubled over laughing. "You like our music!"
Michael gave Joey a death look from the floor then started to laugh. "You scared the shit out of me, Fatone!"
"Your singing scared me, so we're even."
Michael threw a pencil at Joey as he stood. "My singing isn't that bad. Lance likes it."
This made Joey laugh harder. "Yeah, he probably likes the way you take a shit, too."
Michael moved to grab Joey, but was grabbed himself. Joey quickly moved the intern into a head-lock and proceeded to "nuggie" him while laughing fiendishly. Michael struggled in vain to escape, but Joey just tightened his grip.
Joey's laughter was interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat.
"Am I interrupting something?" Lance questioned from the doorway.
Joey instantly let go of the intern and stood up straight. "Hey Scoop!" he grinned. "I'm just punishing Michael here for singing."
Michael stood and straightened out his clothes. His face was red from the headlock and he was catching his breath from laughing. "Hey."
Lance looked at Michael and cocked an eyebrow. "This is the second time I've walked into a room and you've been some sort of strangle hold by one of the guys. Is there something I should know?"
Michael and Joey exchanged glances then looked back at Lance. "Well, Lance...if you must know," Michael began. "I've decided to work my way through the group starting with the 'J's. Justin is next."
Joey started laughing again as he moved towards the door. "Yeah, that's it." He agreed, passing Lance. "Thanks, Mike...was it good for you?"
Michael laughed as Joey left, then saw that Lance wasn't laughing with him. He stopped laughing and reached for his radio on the desk. After attaching it to his belt, he turned to exit the office. Lance was standing in his way, arms folded over his chest.
"You know," Lance began sternly. "Technically, my name is James. Which, alphabetically comes before JC or Joey. So, you should have started the J's with me."
"Technically," Michael placed his hands on Lance's shoulders and directed him away from the door. "You are correct. But I was going by the names of the members of Nsync...so you are Lance, not James." Michael finished his statement by flashing a smile at Lance.
Lance chuckled and slugged the intern in the shoulder.
"Ooh," Michael mocked. "Hit me baby one more time." With that, he playfully pushed Lance away and walked quickly toward the meet and greet area.
"The song game, again?" Lance took off after his friend. "I hate that game."
"You only hate it because you only know your own songs!" Michael teased.
Lance broke into a run, quickly grabbing the back of Michael's shirt. "That's it!"
Michael spun around with an evil grin on his face. "Yes?"
"You know," Lance began, taking a breath, "'Sometimes', 'You drive me crazy' with all your talk of 'What is love' when in reality you should 'Kiss me' and realize that 'If you had my love' you'd be 'Livin La Vida Loca'!"
Michael's eyes blinked a couple of times in surprise. "Wow! I'm impressed."
"Thank you." Lance smiled as the two began to walk outside. "You know, Michael, we've talked about a lot of things over the past few days."
"Yeah."
"But you always seem to avoid talking about your last relationship."
Michael stopped as they exited the building. "I'm not comfortable talking about that Lance." He said flatly.
Lance eyed the intern and decided not to push the subject. "Okay."
"What about you?" Michael asked.
"What about me?"
"You never talk about the other guys in your life."
The duo had arrived at the meet and greet table. Lance looked uncomfortably around. "I've only been with one guy before, Michael."
"About time you got here, Lance." Melinda scolded, directing the singer to his chair. "McCall, go let in the herd."
That nite, after the show:
"Mel, are you sure that its okay that I'm on the guys' bus?" Michael McCall had settled himself into a corner of the Nsync tour bus with his cel phone and laptop. "I know that Lance worked it all out. But I don't want special treatment just because I'm involved with Lance."
Michael sat and listened to Melinda's reassurances. Chris was sitting next to him and punched him in the arm. "You being on our bus isn't special treatment for you." Chris scolded. "Its special treatment for Lance."
"That's what Melinda's telling me."
"Then she's right." Chris added. "Let her go to bed now. It's a long drive to Anaheim."
Michael shook his head at Chris and smiled. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, Mel. Good night."
As Michael was putting away his phone, Lance entered the main room on his way to the kitchen. He was talking into his cel phone as well. Lance gave a small wave to Chris and Michael as he passed.
"Who's he talking to?" Chris asked.
"Don't know." Michael answered, returning his attention to his computer.
"He's been on the phone ever since we got on the bus."
"You must be a very attentive person to have noticed that." Michael replied sarcastically.
Chris once again punched the intern in the arm. "Joey and I are still kidnapping you tomorrow?"
Michael took a moment to look up from his typing. He glanced around to see where Lance was. "Yeah. We're paintballing, right?"
"Yup." Chris nodded. "He's gonna be pissed, ain't he."
Michael let out a low whistle. "That's an understatement. He's gonna go nuclear."
"You sure you want to do this?"
Michael smiled and nodded to the singer. "It's all part of the plan, Chris. We just need to be gone before he wakes up."
"Afraid to tell him face to face that you won't be spending his only day off with him?" Chris laughed.
Michael closed his laptop and stood. "I'm leaving a note and telling him that I'll meet him for lunch. All you guys have to do is hold up your end of the deal with the evening plans."
"Shouldn't be a problem."
Michael ran his hands through his hair and sighed. He turned to look at Lance who was still in the kitchen on his cel phone. "Tell blondie that I went to bed, okay?"
"Sure." Chris answered. "Good nite."
Michael walked down the hall and climbed into Lance's bunk. He rolled over to the wall and pulled the covers up around him. Just as he was closing his eyes, he felt Lance get into the bunk with him.
"Mind if I join you?" Lance smiled, pulling the covers towards him.
Michael rolled over and grinned at the singer. "Bout time you got off the phone. Who were you talking to?"
Lance placed a small kiss on the intern's cheek. "Tyler."
"My room mate, Tyler?"
Lance nodded while laying down on his back. "Yup. I thought that by talking to him, I could learn more about you."
"Really?" Michael asked. "And what did you hope to learn?"
Lance rolled to his side and placed a hand on Michael's chest. "I wanted to find out about the relationship you just got out of."
"What?!"
"I was hoping to find out what happened so I could make sure that I didn't make the same mistake."
Michael sat up with anger in his eyes. "Lance, I told you that I wasn't comfortable talking about that with you yet."
"That's what Tyler said." Lance sighed.
Michael made a mental note to thank Tyler for his discretion later.
"He did tell me the guy's name."
"I would have told you his name." Michael stated. "I can't believe you, Lance."
"I'm sorry."
"When I'm ready, I will tell you what happened between me and Andy." Michael said, turning his back to Lance. "When I'm ready."
Lance moved closer to Michael and placed an arm around him. "Michael, please know that I'm sorry." He started, the crack in his voice evident. "I just want to be close to you. I love you."
After a few painful moments of silence, Lance heard Michael whisper, "I know."
Lance leaned forward and kissed Michael's ear. After another moment, he softly began to sing, "From the first day that I saw your smiling face. Honey I knew that we would be together forever. When I asked you out, you said no, but I found out Darling you'd been hurt, you felt that you'd never love again."
Lance gently began to rub Michael's shoulder as he continued to sing. "I deserve a try, honey, just once. Give me a chance, and I'll prove this all wrong. You walked in you were quick to judge. But honey, he's nothing like me."
Michael slowly rolled to face Lance as he began to sing the chorus.
"I'll never break your heart, I'll never make you cry," Lance sang gazing into Michael's eyes. "I'd rather die, then live without you. I'll give you all of me, honey that's no lie."
Michael leaned forward and cut Lance off with a kiss. "Mr. Bass, that's twice you've surprised me today." He smiled. "And you get points for singing a song by another boy band."
Lance let out a quiet chuckle and pulled Michael into a hug. "I just want you to know that I will never hurt you like Andy did. I love you."
Michael pulled back and stared into Lance's eyes. "I know you do, baby."
Michael rolled over and felt Lance wrap himself around him as they fell asleep.
August 18, 1999, Anaheim California
Lance awoke to the sound of a vacuum cleaner being run on the bus. He groaned aloud and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. That's when he noticed that he was alone in his bunk.
"Michael?" he called, rolling out of his bunk. He walked back to the kitchen area and discovered that with the exception of the cleaning lady, he was alone on the bus. He ran a hand through his hair and opened the fridge. Deciding on the orange juice, he pulled out the carton and closed the door. That's when he saw the picture.
"What?" Lance questioned pulling a Polaroid photo from the door of the fridge. It was a picture of what appeared to be Michael with his hands tied behind his back and a bag over his head. Attached to the photo was a note.
"Lance-We have kidnapped your boyfriend for the morning.
If you want him back in one piece, have lunch waiting in our hotel
Room by 12:30 this afternoon.
Chris and Joey"
"Dammit!" Lance yelled, throwing the orange juice carton across the room. The carton exploded on the far wall as JC entered the room.
"Shit, Lance." JC called, ducking from the spray of orange juice. "What's wrong with you?"
Lance threw himself onto the couch and buried his head in the pillows crying. JC was instantly at his friend's side, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Lance...what's wrong?"
Lance lifted his head from the pillow, tears rolling down his face. "I just wanted to spend the day with him."
"With who?" JC asked, knowing instantly that it was a stupid question.
"Michael." Lance sniffled. "We were supposed to spend the day together. Just the two of us."
"What happened?"
Lance handed JC the photo and letter and buried his head in the pillow again. JC looked at the photo and quickly read the letter. He had to stifle his laughter from Lance. He knew Lance was hurting, but the photo was pretty funny. JC took a mental note to pummel Michael for convincing the guys to follow through with his plan. He let out a sigh, knowing that it was time for him to play his part.
"Lance, it's okay." JC whispered to his friend. He hated seeing him like this. "Michael's plan better not backfire." He thought.
JC lifted Lance up into a hug. "Y'know, Lance..." he began. "I wasn't supposed to say anything, but Chris did this as part of a surprise for you."
"What do you mean?"
JC let out a sigh and continued his pre-scripted speech. "Chris has arranged it so that Michael can come with us to the event tonight."
"Really?" Lance's eyes brightened with the news. "He'll be able to sit with us and stay with us the entire time?"
"It's supposed to be a surprise, Scoop." JC warned. "So you can't let on that you know. You'll have pretend to be mad at Chris when they get back until he breaks the news to you."
"That won't be a problem." Lance replied. "I'm still mad at him for taking my boy away from me."
JC laughed and ruffled Lance's hair. "Okay. You should get checked into your hotel room and get a shower so you'll be ready when your boy gets back."
Lance looked at his watch for the third time in two minutes. It was 12:28 and he was sitting in Chris' hotel room. He had room service deliver and set up lunch for Chris and Joey, as directed. He didn't order anything fancy, just burgers and fries. The guys hadn't requested anything special, so they weren't getting anything special.
The singer began to pace the length of the hotel room. "Where are they?" Stopping in front of the mirror, Lance checked his appearance. He was wearing a red T-shirt and denim shorts. He ran a hand through his hair and smiled. Pleased with the way he looked, he returned to his seat at the table.
Just as he sat down, Lance heard Chris inserting his key into the door. Lance quickly folded his arms over his chest and prepared his best evil stare.
The door opened and Chris, Joey and Michael all entered laughing. One by one they saw Lance sitting in front of the table with his arms folded, glaring at them. And one by one, they fell silent and looked to the ground. Lance almost laughed aloud at the sight of the three men looking like first graders who'd been caught writing on the walls at school. But he continued his evil glare at them.
"Hey Lance." Joey mumbled, pushing Chris in front of him.
"Lance," Chris nodded to the table of food. "I see that you got our note."
Lance slowly stood and moved to stand toe to toe with Chris. "Yes, I did."
"Good." Chris smiled and began to move towards the food.
Lance firmly placed a hand on Chris' chest. "No."
"Ah, Lance..."
"No!" Lance yelled. "It's not good, Chris. You knew that today was the only free day that I had to spend with Michael till the tour is over and you took that away from me!"
"Lance..." Michael started to interrupt.
"You shut up!" Lance pointed to the intern. "You didn't have to go with them, you know. They didn't hold you at gunpoint!"
Lance took a moment to look at his boyfriend. Michael was wearing a T-shirt that must have been white at the beginning of the day. The shirt was now several shades of blue, green and red as was the rest of Michael. In fact, he was covered from head to toe with faded, dried paint. Lance decided not to mention it and continue his act.
"How dare you take this day away from me!"
Chris raised his hands in surrender. "Hey, we know what we did was wrong. But we've got a surprise that will make it up to you."
"Yeah!" Joey chimed in.
Lance took a step back and folded his arms over his chest. "I'm listening."
"To make up for all of this," Chris began. "Joey and I got it cleared so that Michael can come with us to the charity dinner tonight."
Michael watched Lance closely as he processed the information that Chris had just given him. If everything was going as planned, Lance was acting surprised because JC had already given him this information. Michael smiled inwardly. Everything was moving along perfectly! Only a few more hours and his plan would be complete.
The intern listened to the three singers as they each played out their parts. Lance was still a little upset, but this was overshadowed by his excitement of Michael being able to attend the charity event with the group. Chris and Joey both had relief in their voices with the knowledge that Lance was not planning on killing them for spoiling his morning plans.
"Well," Michael spoke up. "Since this all seems to be settled...I'm gonna go get a shower." With that, he turned and headed for the door.
"I'll come with." Lance called after his boyfriend and followed him out of the hotel room.
Chris and Joey looked at each other with triumphant smiles. "Let's eat!"
Michael left the door to his hotel room open so Lance could get in. He made his way to his suitcase and grabbed a clean shirt and a pair of shorts. He was on his way to the bathroom when Lance entered.
"Make yourself at home," Michael smiled. "I gotta get this shit off of me."
Lance closed the door of the room and followed Michael into the bathroom. Michael had turned on the shower and was taking off his shirt when Lance hopped up onto the sink. "Mind if I watch?"
Michael tossed the dirty shirt to the other side of the bathroom and leaned over to give Lance a quick kiss. "Whatever floats your boat. But I'm not doing a striptease for you."
"Ahhhh," Lance moaned dejectedly. "I was hoping to see the big show."
Michael shook his head, quickly slipped out of his shorts and underwear and jumped into the shower. Lance let out a whistle and laughed. "Nice ass."
"How was your morning?" Michael asked from the shower.
Lance leaned back against the mirror and sighed. "Well, I woke up alone this morning."
"Sorry."
"It's okay." Lance smiled towards the shower. "I was able to get a lot of shit done that I wouldn't have been able to if you were around."
"That's good."
Lance turned to check out his reflection in the mirror. His blond hair was perfectly spiked, as always, but that didn't stop him from moving his hands through it for adjustment. The steam from the shower was beginning to cover the mirror and Lance had to wipe away the condensation to see himself.
"How was paintballing?"
"It was fun." Michael answered. "Chris and Joey are crazy. Damn, I hope I can get this paint off."
"Need help?" Lance asked hopefully.
There was a moment of silence before Michael answered. "Sure. Can you hand me a washcloth?"
Lance hopped off of the sink and grabbed a washcloth from the wall. He turned back to the shower and reached his hand through the curtain. "Here you go."
"Thanks." Michael said, grabbing Lance by the wrist and pulling him in to the shower.
"Hey!" Lance yelped as he went through the curtain and was bombarded with water from the shower.
Michael helped Lance get his balance. "Hey." He smiled, placing his arms around the singer's waist and pulling him close.
"You do realize that I'm standing in this shower fully clothed."
"Yes. Yes, I do." Michael smiled, moving his lips to Lance's.
Lance let out a small sigh as he wrapped his arms around Michael and leaned in for the kiss. And soon, through the darkness of his closed eyes, Lance felt his lips touch Michael's, in a sweet kiss that blew his mind. His breath passed into him, Lance's wet struggling stopped, and his whole body went limp in Michael's arms. He relaxed, and then his kiss became stronger, and their tongues timidly met between them. Here he was, fully clothed with someone who he thought was the most gorgeous boy in the world, in a shower, kissing passionately, and he was enjoying it!
Lance moved his hands over Michael's bare, wet back. One moving upward to his hair, while the other moved down to cup the intern's bare ass. He felt Michael pull him closer and he deepened the kiss. Their mouths parted briefly...long enough for them to stare deeply into each other's eyes. Lance smiled, then gently pushed Michael back against the shower wall before returning to the kiss.
Michael moaned softly, feeling Lance's weight push him into the shower wall. His hands made their way down Lance's back to the bottom of his shirt. Once there, they snaked their way under the soaked shirt to the warmth of Lance's skin. Michael gasped for air as Lance moved his mouth across Michael's cheek and gently bit his earlobe.
"ohhhh..." Michael sighed, Lance's lips making their way down his neck to his chest. Lance's hands had moved from Michael's back to his chest. Slowly tracing down the thin line of hair that began at his stomach.
"Lance." Michael gasped grabbing Lance's wrists.
"Yes, baby?" Lance asked between kisses.
Michael gently pushed Lance away. "We should stop."
"What?" Lance stepped back and locked eyes with Michael.
Michael reached over and turned off the shower. "We should stop." He repeated while grabbing a towel.
"Why?" Lance asked, reaching after Michael. "We have time."
Having wrapped the towel around his waist, Michael stepped out of the shower. He reached for another towel and tossed it to the singer. "Time isn't an issue here."
"Don't you want to make love to me?"
Michael saw the pain in Lance's eyes as he stripped out of his wet clothes. It hurt him to do decline Lance in this way. Lance loved him, and he knew it. All the singer wanted was to be with him. "This just isn't the right time, Lance. I'm sorry."
Lance wrapped the towel around his waist and pushed past Michael. "Yeah, right." He huffed. "Then maybe you shouldn't start what you aren't ready to finish!"
Michael leaned back against the wall and sighed. He heard the door of his hotel room open and slam shut with Lance's exit. "I'm sorry, Lance." He whispered. "I'll make it up to you. I promise."
Later:
JC Chasez stepped out of the elevator and entered the lobby of the hotel. Glancing around the lobby, JC spotted Lance sitting at the piano bar and walked over to join his friend.
"Hey." He smiled, taking a moment to check out his friend's appearance. Lance was wearing a dark blue suit with a white shirt and blue tie. JC cocked an eyebrow at the blonde. "You look good." He said. "A tad conservative, but good."
Lance glanced away from his drink. "Thanks." He mumbled.
Seeing the pain in his friend's face, JC decided to push. "Dude, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Bullshit!" JC scolded. "Spill it, Scoop."
Lance took a sip of his drink and let out a long sigh. "It's Michael."
"Of course."
"He started something today...then he pulled away."
JC looked closely at his friend, trying to fully read his emotions. Lance wasn't upset, he was hurt. "What do you mean?"
Lance turned to face JC. "He pulled me in the shower with him this afternoon and we started kissing. God, JC. It felt so good. It started really gentle and sincere. Then it got really hot! The kissing got harder and passionate. We broke the kiss for just a second...and just stared into each other's eyes.
"I swear...I saw so much in him at that moment. I could tell that he felt the same way about me. He was enjoying himself and he wanted to be with me. Then we were all over each other again. And..."
JC saw the tears growing in his friend's eyes. The site of that gripped his heart and threatened to rip it out. He reached over and touched Lance's shoulder. "What happened?"
Lance looked away for a moment, fighting the tears. "He pulled away. Said that we had to stop."
JC's pain for Lance quickly turned to anger for the intern. He took a second to quickly count to ten and push the anger aside. He needed to be strong for Lance right now. "Did he say why?"
"Just that he felt that it wasn't the right time." Lance wiped away a falling tear and took another sip of his drink. "What's wrong with me? Why won't he love me?"
Pulling Lance into a hug, JC whispered. "It's okay, Lance."
Lance rested his head on his friend's shoulder and gave in to the tears.
"You said yourself that you saw in his eyes that he felt the same way about you...right?" JC asked.
"Yeah...but,"
JC pulled back and looked into Lance's eyes. "No buts. You know that he cares about you. Maybe he's just waiting for the perfect time to make love to you."
Lance rubbed the tears out of his eyes and wiped the dampness from his cheeks. "Time's running out." He sniffled. "The tour ends in less than two weeks and he'll move back to California."
"Hey guys!" Justin called as he neared the duo along with Joey and Chris. "S'up?"
Lance turned away from the guys, wiping away the rest of his tears. JC stood and turned to the guys. "Not much. You guys ready to go?"
"The limo's out front." Chris responded, adjusting his tie.
"Cool." JC added.
"Where's Michael?" Joey asked.
"Right here."
The five members of Nsync turned to the sound of the intern's voice. Michael was standing at the entrance of the piano bar with a smile on his face. He was wearing black slacks, a black shirt and tie with an emerald green jacket. The intern noticed the guys staring at him and did a small turn. "I look okay...right?"
Chris let out a low whistle. "You clean up pretty good for an intern."
"Lookin' good, McCall!" Joey chimed in.
"Thanks." Michael blushed slightly.
Justin walked over and inspected the intern up close. "Nice jacket." He smiled. "Can I borrow it?"
JC brushed past the guys, heading for the exit. "We should get going."
"Where is this thing tonight?" Chris asked, following JC's lead.
"The Beverly Hilton."
"Great." Michael said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a set of keys. "I'll meet you guys there. I need to stop by my place and pick up something."
Lance stood and walked past Michael without saying a word. Michael watched for a moment as the five guys headed for the hotel entrance. "Is that okay?"
"You have directions to the Hilton?" Chris asked.
"Yeah." Michael answered. A worried expression crossed his face as he realized that his plan was beginning to fail. He looked to Joey and raised his eyebrows in a plea for help.
"Hey," Joey caught on. "One of us should go with Michael so he doesn't have trouble getting in to the event."
Michael smiled at Joey and mouthed, "Thanks."
"Lance, why don't you go with him." Justin suggested.
Lance had caught up with JC at the limo and turned to Justin. "Nah, that's okay. One of you guys can go with him, if you want."
Everyone stopped short at that. Chris, Joey and Justin looked at each other in confusion. Michael's face went white, realizing that his mistake earlier in the afternoon had just destroyed his plan. He turned to JC for help. JC stared back with anger flaring in his eyes. Michael's eyes softened in his plea and he shrugged his shoulders.
JC let out a sigh of aggravation and leaned over to Lance. "You should go with him. This would be a good time for you guys to work this shit out." He whispered.
Lance began to protest, but realized that his friend was right. "Okay."
"We'll see you guys there, then." JC said flatly. "Don't be late."
Lance watched his friends pile into the limo and drive away. He turned to see Michael handing his keys to the valet. "You have a car?"
"Tyler dropped my truck off this morning." Michael responded. "You look good tonight."
Lance looked away uncomfortably. "Thanks. You do too."
"Here we go." Michael smiled as the valet pulled up with his dark green, Nissan Pathfinder.
Michael opened the passenger door for Lance and jogged around to the driver's side. After tipping the valet, he got in and turned to Lance. "Hey." He began, "I'm really sorry about earlier. I was way out of line."
Lance remained quiet for a few minutes as they pulled out of the hotel parking lot and onto the street. "No." He finally spoke.
"Huh?"
Lance shifted in his seat to face Michael. "No, you weren't out of line. I'm glad you pulled me into the shower."
Seeing the quizzical look on Michael's face, Lance continued. "I'm glad that you pulled me into the shower. And I'm glad that we were finally acting on our feelings."
"But..."
"Let me finish." Lance retorted, turning to look out the window. "I've told you that I love you. And I know that you feel the same way. For some reason, you haven't admitted that fact to yourself or me.
"For about five minutes in that shower, you let your guard down and let your emotions and passion take over." Lance turned back to the intern. "I'm not upset about that. What upset me was that you stopped. You wouldn't let yourself continue."
There was an uneasy silence in the vehicle as the two men stared straight forward out the window at the road.
"I'm sorry." Michael whispered.
"Whatever." Lance responded, fighting his own tears once again.
Michael maneuvered his Pathfinder into the parking garage of his apartment building. Shutting off the engine, he turned to Lance , who had been quiet for the better part of the trip. "We're here."
"I kinda figured that." Lance answered flatly, getting out of the car.
Michael led the way through the garage. "You gonna be mad at me all nite?"
"Maybe."
Michael sighed and continued along the path to his apartment. He could feel the distance between him and Lance. He cursed to himself, hoping that the damage he had done to their relationship could be repaired with what was about to happen. As they arrived at Michael's apartment, then intern reached into his pocket for his keys to unlock the door.
"Will Tyler be here?" Lance asked.
Michael unlocked and opened the door, motioning for Lance to enter. "Don't know."
Lance walked past Michael and into the apartment. He stopped just inside, noticing that the place was dark except for an arrangement of lit candles on the dining room table. He heard Michael enter and close and lock the front door. Then he felt his presence next to him.
"Are we walking in on something?" Lance asked tentatively.
Michael shrugged his shoulders and took Lance by the hand. "Let me give you the penny tour."
Michael quickly led Lance through the apartment beginning with the living room, then through the dining room, kitchen and down the hall. Lance followed, looking around the dark apartment trying to make out the highlights that the intern was pointing out to him. They completed their tour at the end of the hall in front of a closed door. Michael positioned the blond singer in front of him, facing the door and opened it.
Lance took in a breath at the sight of the room. It wasn't anything too spectacular. But what caught him off guard was the armada of lit candles placed around the room. Candles flickering on the nightstands illuminated the large bed which had three red roses lying on the pillows. Candlelight danced from the book case and dresser, giving an emotional movement of light to the room.
"What's this?" Lance managed to get out.
Michael led Lance into the room. "This is all for you." He smiled.
"What?"
Michael placed his keys next to the stereo on the dresser and turned to face Lance. "I wanted to give you a special night, Lance."
Lance shook his head in amazement. "But we have the charity..."
Michael chuckled and interrupted. "No, Lance. We don't." Seeing the singer's confusion, he continued his explanation. "All of this has been arranged. There is no charity event tonight. Every minute of this day has been planned and scripted to lead you here to this room tonight.
"I convinced the guys to schedule a fake charity event so that you would be booked for the evening. Then I arranged for Chris and Joey to kidnap me and deprive you of spending the day with me. JC did his part by convincing you to not to be mad and to go along with the charade..."
"Everything that happened today?" Lance stammered.
Michael picked up the remote control from the stereo and walked over to Lance. "Well, the shower incident this afternoon just kinda happened. That wasn't part of the plan."
Lance looked over the room. He couldn't get over all the candles. His heart was pounding. So many questions rushing through his head, he didn't know where to begin. He turned back to Michael. Lance smiled, seeing the glint in his boyfriend's eyes. It was what he saw that afternoon. The singer opened his mouth to speak, but Michael raised a hand to silence him.
"Lance," he began. "The past two weeks have been phenomenal. Dizzying, in fact. From the moment I locked eyes on you in that dressing room, I felt a connection. Something that I couldn't deny.
"But that scared me. I didn't want to get myself hurt again. So I resigned myself, and you to taking it slow. You've been such a good sport through all of this."
Michael reached up and brushed a hand over Lance's cheek. Lance closed his eyes and turned his face into the hand. "I've discovered a lot about you in that time. And a lot about me. "I guess, above all else, I wanted you to know how serious I take things like this. I want you to know that I'm not like this for just anyone."
Michael pointed the remote control towards the stereo and pressed the play button. Instantly, the quiet in the room was replaced with soft music. Michael tossed the remote onto the dresser and turned back to Lance.
A smile grew over the singer's face as he recognized the intro to Madonna's "Crazy for you", and his heart swelled to the realization of what was to come.
Michael took Lance's hands in his and stepped closer to the singer. "Two weeks ago, you sang me to sleep with this song. I've come to realize in the past two weeks, Lance, that I have fallen for you. I've fallen hard."
"Michael..."
"I love you, Lance."
Lance took a step back. His voice caught in his throat as he heard Michael say the words he had been dreaming of hearing. He tried to speak, but couldn't. Michael pulled him close and gently kissed his lips. Their lips met again tentatively, then once again. Lance pulled back far enough to look at Michael's face. He reached up and touched his cheeks.
Michael smiled, his green eyes dancing in the candlelight. He leaned towards Lance and kissed his nose, then locked his lips to the singer's. As they kissed, Michael eased the suit jacket off of Lance, letting it drop to the floor. His hands moved to Lance's collar and began to undo his tie. As Michael removed the tie, he eased himself out of his own jacket and felt Lance reach for his tie.
Michael placed his hands over Lance's. "You're trembling." He whispered.
Lance blushed slightly and spoke in his deep accented voice. "I...I'm just nervous. I've been dreaming about this moment ever since we met."
Michael placed a kiss on the singer's forehead. "Take your time." He reassured him while removing his tie. "We have all night."
Michael's lips met Lance's as they resumed kissing, making Michael moan softly as he sucked Lance's tongue deep into his mouth. Michael slipped his hands around the singer's back and under his shirt, feeling that hot, smooth skin that was so heavenly to touch, then pulled his shirt up, breaking their kiss momentarily as he lifted his arms to let it come completely off. Michael wrapped his arms around Lance's waist and kissed him deeper and harder as he felt the singer's hands pulling up his shirt and begin stroking his back. They broke off their kiss again as Michael let Lance pull his shirt off, then, again resumed, rubbing their hot naked chests together. Michael pushed his hands against Lance's ass and began to grind their hips together.
Lance moaned with pleasure as they humped their hips together, rubbing his cock firmly against Michael's. He slipped his tongue from Michael's mouth and smiled almost shyly. "I don't think you can even imagine how lucky I feel right now." he breathed, as he nuzzled Michael's neck.
Michael ran his fingers through Lance's hair and kissed him on the ear, completely at a loss for words. Michael hugged him closely, lovingly, and kissed him on the cheek. "I think I know how you feel Lance. I love you so much..."
Lance smiled and a tear ran down his cheek, which Michael wiped away with his finger. Lance took Michael's hand and kissed it, then held it to his cheek. "Damn, we're getting awful sappy." he giggled.
Michael smiled and led Lance over to the bed. He removed the roses from the pillows and guided Lance to lay on his back. He reached down and unfastened the button and zipper of Lance's pants. He grabbed the waistband of the pants and boxers underneath, and pulled them down to the singer's ankles. Michael quickly removed Lance's shoes and socks before pulling off the pants and boxers, dropping them to the floor.
Michael moved up to lick and kiss at Lance's nipples, occasionally biting them playfully and making him giggle. He stayed there for what seemed like twenty minutes, nibbling until Lance's nipples were both sensitive and sore. Then he slid further up the singer's body to kiss his neck, his chest rubbing against Lance's. Making Lance's nipples tingle with a pleasurable pain that sent electric shocks coursing through the singer's entire body. Michael kissed at his neck, on both sides, for as long as he could stand it, before kissing him deeply on the lips. Their tongues mingled together and they began a smooth grind on each other that defied space and time as their emotion grew stronger than ever.
Lance slid Michael's pants off of him and they laid in bed together, completely naked. Lance's hands slowly explored every inch of his lover's back, his shoulders, his ass... Their thrusts were slower, more relaxed. They were just enjoying each other in the best possible way.
Finally, Lance felt Michael's head start to travel back down his body again, even slower than last time. He brought his knees up a little and spread my thighs so that his lover could get in between them. Michael crawled between Lance's legs and positioned his shoulders underneath the backs of Lance's thighs, and his arms wrapped around to fold neatly on Lance's soft belly. Michael's tongue started almost all the way down at Lance's asshole and traveled slowly up to his scrotum, to his balls, up his shaft, and finally stopped to encircle the tip with a loving technique. Then without further delay, he absorbed Lance into his hungry mouth, swallowing inch after inch of Lance's swollen member with his lips cushioning it all the way down to his pubic hairs.
Lance started groaning and wiggling like mad the second he started, but it was like he couldn't cum. The orgasm was right there on the edge, but it wouldn't take him over, and the pleasure was driving him insane. Lance was screaming at this point, and it only made Michael suck harder.
"Ohhh...Oh God....ooohhh...mmmmm" Lance rambled incoherently, Michael's mouth finally becoming such a stimulation to Lance that it was bringing him to a crashing orgasm that started in his toes and shot through him like a bullet train. Lance shuddered, shivered, cried, screamed, and exploded with what seemed like an endless burst of hot semen that leaked out of Michael's mouth as he desperately tried to swallow it all. When Lance was finished, Michael released his cock, licked up the remaining spillage and moved up to kiss and hug his spent lover.
Lance looked deeply into his lover's eyes. "I'm sorry." He whispered.
"For what?" Michael asked, stroking Lance's hair.
"I came too soon."
Michael let out a low chuckle and kissed Lance delicately on the lips. "Like I said before...We have all night."
Lance stroked Michael's cheek and kissed his neck. "Make love to me, Michael."
"Are you sure?" Michael asked.
Lance raised his head and tenderly kissed Michael's lips. "I have never been more sure of anything in my life. I want to be one with you."
Michael reached over to the nightstand and grabbed a condom and a small container of lube. He slid the condom on and tossed the wrapper to the floor. He opened the tube and squeezed some lube onto His finger. Lance was lying on his back and he quickly raised his legs giving Michael easier access to him. Michael ran his lubricated finger through Lance's crack, leaving a trail of lube leading to his hole. Lance groaned and pushed down. Michael took the tube of lube and squeezed a generous amount around the singer's rosebud. He rubbed it around with his forefinger.
Michael pushed down on the sphincter and his finger slowly sank into Lance's beautiful ass. He could feel the muscle squeeze down on his finger. He gently continued working the hole trying to ensure that Lance was well lubricated. Michael stuck a second finger in and Lance began squirming and shivering.
"Do it now. I need you inside me now," Lance hissed.
Michael pulled the two fingers out of the hole and put some lube onto his erection. He worked the lube into his cock, trying to ensure that there were no dry spots which could cause pain to Lance. Michael moved into position, placing the head of his cock against Lance's back door. He looked at Lance, who looked up to him and nodded. Michael leaned forward and kissed him gently as he pushed his cock into Lance's hot hole.
Michael paused to let Lance get used to the feeling of just his glans in his ass. Lance wrapped his arms around his lover's back and pulled his chest towards his. He nodded again and Michael pushed some more of my cock into his hole. Lance began squirming wildly and Michael stopped his advance. He wasn't sure if Lance was in pain or in ecstasy. Lance opened his eyes and looked into Michael's.
"Push it in all the way. Right now," he growled.
Michael looked back at Lance and nodded. Michael pulled out a little to gain some momentum and then slammed my cock all the way in. Lance let out a guttural sound and held onto him tightly. Michael's cock was buried inside him and his intestine felt like a second skin. Michael waited a moment to let the singer get used to his entire cock and then wiggled his hips to get used to the feel of Lance. Lance let out a loud moan as Michael wiggled his hips and his body began shivering.
Michael leaned forward and pressed their lips together. "I love you." he whispered into his ear.
Lance groaned something unintelligible and Michael slowly pulled out from Lance's hot, tight crevice, just keeping the head buried inside. Michael eased back in. There was little resistance as Lance's sphincter began to loosen up and accept the intern's prick. Michael groaned slightly. Lance was so hot, so tight and his cock was becoming super sensitive. Michael continued pumping his cock into and out of Lance's ass and for his part Lance would moan with every stroke. Michael knew he must be hitting the singer's prostate and he moved around within the hole trying to drive Lance crazy with pleasure.
Michael pushed in and Lance let out a loud scream of ecstasy. Michael smiled to himself and repeated the stroke that he had just used. Lance screamed again and raked his short nails over his lover's back. Michael continued thrusting into Lance, slowly building up the pace. He was nearing the edge and he wanted to make it last as long as possible. Michael slid into Lance and he let out a loud scream that Michael was sure that the neighbors had heard.
Lance's back arched off of the bed and his cock began to shoot wildly, as Michael prepared for one last stroke. Lance's sphincter spasmed repeatedly and Michael slammed his cock into Lance. His cock fired out load after load and Lance's sphincter worked hard, trying to milk every last drop of.
Michael collapsed onto Lance and kissed him deeply. Lance's body was still shivering and spasming. Michael slowly pulled his softening erection out the singer's ass and grabbed a towel from the nightstand. Michael gently wiped away the excess lube off of his cheeks and caught the overflow of Lance's cum from their chests. Michael wrapped his arms around Lance and pulled him. He wrapped one arm protectively over the singer's chest and gently pulled his hair out of his face with the other. Lance eventually calmed down and finished shivering and spasming.
"Michael," Lance got out between breaths. "I love you."
"I love you too, Lance." Michael kissed his forehead.
With that, Lance snuggled closer to his lover and fell blissfully to sleep.
