The fire chief agreed with Ben and Chris that they couldn't save the barn and the hay bales inside but he ordered his crews to use hoses on the house and surrounding buildings. Damien and the boys along with several of the older guys arrived to help. While not much livestock was on the farm they moved tractors and farm implements along with some chickens to safety.
Clive came racing up from town asking about his security guy and a search began to try and find him. Finally he was located close to the burning building lying in a pool of blood...
It was obvious that the guard had been brutally murdered. He had been bashed about the head by a heavy weapon and his skull was caved in. Very quickly the crime scene investigation squad were on the site which was taped off. Damien, Bentley and several others were on the scene and Clive was very distraught and upset.
Damien asked him why only one man on duty, "His partner called in sick and a replacement was on his way out from the town but of course was too late." Clive told him. The detective in charge of the investigation began to question everyone while the coroner arrived to remove the body as soon as the CSI people had finished.
The dead security guard, was Anthony Jenkinson aged twenty six, married with one small child only eighteen months old. He had been working for Clive since he started the business and was one of the most responsible and trustworthy guys on the payroll.
Clive had to be consoled by Jennifer as he was in such a bad way. A doctor was called to give him a sedative and Jennifer took him home. To say the whole region was shocked would be an understatement. They turned up by the hundreds to lay flowers at the murder site while his widow was being looked after by those in town. The local and national media condemned the arson and murder. One national television station on its news broadcast said, "Enough is enough, this project should be left on its own to continue the good work it is doing."
Jordon, Geoff and Damien were interviewed by the media all next day and it was later in the day that the detective in charge of the investigation arrived to tell them that a Neo Nazi group from Toronto was claiming responsibility, fully intending to wipe out all gays and gay lovers.
This group had cells all over the world and were well organized and determined to further their cause. While he didn't think they would strike again in the same place so soon he urged everyone to be on their guard and report any strangers in the area.
George pointed out that while it was nothing compared to the murder of the guard but they had lost a whole winter's supply of hay and their buying would have to be curtailed for a few months because they might have to buy hay if the winter is severe. While the police investigation was going on road blocks had been set up all around the surrounding area and every vehicle stopped and searched.
The media kept up its campaign against anyone coming down on the farm project and support locally was continuing to grow. Almost overnight Jordan and Geoff were becoming seasoned media personalities appearing on news broadcasts throughout Canada and North America. Donations began to pour in and they soon had enough cash on hand to replace the barn and the hay that was stored in it.
Work also continued on the new dormitory block and it was coming close to completion. The publicity also brought forth more and more applications from parents and organizations seeking to place young abused boys in the project. There were far more applications than spaces available but Jordan and Geoff insisted that they stick to their policy of not turning anyone away.
They were particularly touched by one letter they received from grandparents of a twelve year old Alberta based boy whose parents were very cruel to him when they caught him with another boy's dick up his ass and found that he was enjoying every minute of it. They tried to beat his homosexuality out of him so his grandparents applied for custody and it was granted with the parents offering no objection, just being happy to get rid of him.
They wrote to Jordan explaining that they were not getting any younger and would like to see Samuel their grandson placed in a project were he can learn a trade and also grow up with people in similar situations to him. They had money and were willing to contribute towards his keep plus they both made wills making all their money and possessions including a large home available to the project.
Jordan, Geoff, Damien and Jennifer agreed that they should be invited to come along and see the whole setup before they make a final decision. When they arrived Jordan could see right away that this couple was well advanced in years while young Samuel was the cutest blondest young guy they had ever set eyes on. Quite tall for his age. At five foot eight and growing he was handsome to a point that every boy who met him felt a twitching in their pants.
His smile would melt the hardiest soul and his tight pants left nothing to the imagination regarding the size of his appendage. As Geoff whispered to Jordan when they first met him, "Boy is he fucking hung."
"Down boy." Jordan told his lover with a laugh as they began to show him and his grandparents around the farm. He was immediately accepted and while Damien insisted that they didn't have to pay anything towards his upkeep they insisted in giving him a cheque for a substantial amount telling them to look upon it as a donation to the cause if it made everyone feel better.
When the time came for them to leave all three shed tears. Jordan and Geoff consoled Samuel and also extended an invitation for his grandparents to come and visit anytime they wanted to and even stay over for a few days or even longer if they wished.
Until the new block was finished Samuel was asked if he didn't mind sharing with three other guys in the house trailer they kept for emergency accommodation. He had no problem with that and soon settled down into the farm routine opting to work in and learn the bakery business.
Security was still very tight and no one was allowed to go anywhere on the property alone. In fact Clive preferred they went in no less than groups of four or more and they were all issued two way radio's linked to security headquarters so they could summon help at any time.
One day one of the television stations called up Jordan asking if he had an official name for the whole project. Jordan thought about this but didn't have an immediate answer. Way back it was going to be called the Jordan Foster project but he didn't like that very much saying that not all the praise should come his way.
That evening over dinner Jordan raised the subject and the names came in thick and fast but none really suitable, especially one from a cheeky bugger who yelled out from the back "Jordan's fuck club". Once the laughter had died down they got a bit more serious. After many names had been suggested the boys themselves insisted that they stick to the original calling it the, `Jordan and Geoff Foster's farm project for abused gay boys' with Jordan and Geoff's farm being the shortened version.
While both boys protested a show of hands proved that everyone else thought it was a great name. Next morning having worked most of the night half a dozen of the boys erected a sign over the front gate saying just that, with a big welcome sign underneath.
Both Jordan and Geoff were overcome with emotion when they were taken out to view the sign with both of them feeling humbled and honoured. All this time Trent had been sleeping in their room and all too soon it was time for the trial of Domingo Gonzalez, the new security guard who tried to rape the young lad. Just as they were getting ready to leave the district attorney called to say Trent wouldn't be needed today but to be at the courthouse by nine the next morning. They were given instructions on how to get to the rear entrance so he wouldn't be mobbed by the media.
With all the good publicity the farm was getting following the murder it didn't look too good for Domingo, but as the district attorney pointed out we have witnesses who saw him running away but what actually occurred is more of a he said he said situation. However don't worry, we will do everything in our power to secure a conviction.
Trent was shaking like a leaf as he was shown into a small room with just a chair and a table set up in front of a camera. Another chair and stand was set up for the court reporter who would be the only other person in the room. The two boys were allowed to stay with him until it was time for him to give evidence and they did the best they could to calm him down and stop him from shaking.
Meanwhile in the court Clive had already given evidence regarding his employment and managed to sneak in the fact that he lied and had false references which Clive was in the process of checking when the alleged assault occurred.
The doctor also gave evidence regarding the injuries and also the state of shock Trent was in following the attack. A couple of the other boys identified Domingo as the person they saw running away from the scene. Then it was Trent's turn to give evidence.
As a last ditch attempt the defence lawyer tried to have Trent appear in person in the witness box but the judge said that he had already ruled on that and it would stick. Once he was sworn in the prosecution lawyer gently led Trent through everything that had happened on that night. How he was taken by force from his room after being gagged so no one would hear his screams and how he was dragged behind the barn, "In your own words Trent could you describe what happened after that. Take your time and don't worry no one can hurt you now."
This brought forth a protest from the defence which the judge agreed with and while the last sentence was withdrawn it was obvious the jury had got the idea in their minds. "I was thrown to the ground and my pants were ripped off me." Trent said in a trembling voice. Gently prompting him to continue he then said. "I then felt some one big and smelly lying on top of me."
"And did this person say anything to you?"
"Yes, he said I had to keep my mouth shut and he swore while he said that using the f words quite a few times. Then he said I know you like this otherwise you wouldn't be here."
"What happened next?"
"He, he, started to push his well, you know his dick inside me and it hurt real bad." Trent began to quietly cry and it was obvious that he was becoming very distressed. The judge ordered a thirty minute recess granting Jordan and Geoff permission to go to Trent and calm him down.
Armed with sodas and hotdogs Jordan and Geoff took Trent in their arms as he continued to sob his heart out. He gradually calmed down and they got him to drink and eat something while both devoured their hotdogs being they were all starving.
The judge sent his bailiff in to see if Trent was ok to continue and he nodded his head saying he wanted it over and done with as soon as possible. Once they were all reassembled the prosecution asked him what happened next, going over what he had said before the break, "He stopped because he heard someone coming and then he ran off after pushing my face into the dirt telling me not to say anything or I would be dead."
"And can you identify this man?"
"Yes he spoke with a strong Mexican accent and smelt of Mexican food."
"Now because you are unable to identify the man in court in an envelope on the table are four pictures of men who are Mexican in appearance. Now Trent I would like you to look at these pictures and if you recognize one of them as the man who attacked you to hold it up to the camera. Do you understand all that?"
Trent nodded and without hesitation he picked out Domingo showing it to the camera, "Let it be placed on record that the witness picked out the picture of the accused sitting in the dock."
It was now the defence turn to question him and everyone at the time thought that he had already thrown in the towel because the only question he asked was how sure he was that it was the accused and not anybody else, "After all there are a lot of Mexicans working on farms in that region."
"It was him because he had been following me and watching me all day and he smelt sweaty and dirty." Trent explained and the defence surprised everyone by saying no more questions.
Jordan and Geoff took Trent back out to the waiting car and took him home. He was still trembling but the further away they got from the courthouse the calmer he became.
Meanwhile back in the court the prosecution began its jury summation followed by the defence lawyer who didn't say very much at all. Then the jury went away to consider their verdict. Less than thirty minutes later they were back with a guilty verdict which brought cheers and applause from the public gallery. After restoring order the judge was scathing in his remarks regarding how this man had taken advantage of a poor innocent boy already traumatised from previous assaults.
It was then made clear to the court that Domingo had three previous convictions for similar charges and was already on probation. The judge had no problem sentencing him to ten years hard labour with no chance of parole.
Trent cried once again when he was told the news but this time they were tears of happiness that he will never ever see that evil man again. Jordan then talked Trent into sharing a room with another boy of the same age because he said he didn't think he was ready for his own room just yet.
Miles and Keith were on Skype as soon as they heard about the murder and the fire and Jordan explained in detail what happened. Both of them were upset and told the boys they hadn't mentioned it to Jeremy because he would be really upset.
Miles then went on to explain, "Jeremy wants us to open a similar facility here in Texas but we're not sure if that's a good idea or not. For a start the area we live in is very homophobic and we don't have a farm or anything to get us going like you did Jordan. While in theory the idea sounds good it has a lot more problems."
Jordan agreed that it might not work in Texas as well as it has in Canada and maybe Jeremy should be sat down and all this explained to him. ...
To be continued.
Writer's corner.
Firstly, my apologies for the delay between chapters but I have been in hospital for a while and now have to lie on my back on my bed for hours on end as I slowly recover (on my own damn it). Those of you who contacted me wanting to know what was wrong I thank you for your get well wishes.
Secondly, apology again for the short chapter. I intend to try and write three short chapters for each of my stories to keep them alive until I can catch up.
Now to the story which had a lot happening with arson, murder and a court case. It is good that the media are taking the side of the farm project and public sympathy for the guys is on the increase. Anyway I will leave it there because typing lying on your back isn't easy.
As always please let me know what you think of this and all my stories.
Hugs Trevor

Editors corner,
Welcome back Trevor. I know I am thankful you are now out of the hospital and on the mend even if it is slow. Get well my friend.
I sure hope they capture the bastards that set the barn on fire and killed that poor guard. While Trevor gives me no insight into where the story is going I am thinking that the original guard who called in sick knew that the attack was going to happen. Just my thoughts.
Now, I would have loved to have seen Domingo's face when Trent picked his picture out and Trent told the defence lawyer that he was certain of who it was. I am thrilled that now maybe Trent can begin to start having a life again. I cannot imagine the terror this poor boy had to endure. Glad the judge gave him a sentence with no chance of parole. Maybe with luck he will get to hook up with Big Bubba and his friends. Now that would be justice (I know I am mean).
I know Miles and Keith would love to start a program in Texas as Jeremy suggested but Texas is not Canada. Lots of homophobes and hate mongers here (I know as I live there).
Anyway, great to see this story to continue on and all I can say is "Get Well Trevor my friend".
