Chapter Five
`Rickie...wake up, I need you,' Rickie's eyes flew open upon hearing Michael's voice.
`Yo Michael, its still daylight out,' he replied, irritating Michael.
`I know this; now listen carefully to my words. I need you to quietly go into Chris' bedroom and see if Abaddon is holding Chris. Just be careful that Abaddon doesn't see you,' he commanded and Rickie rose from the bed, changed into a common house fly and buzzed into Chris' bedroom.
Rickie could see Abaddon and Chris on the balcony, but Chris seemed to be unconscious. He flew closer and saw that Abaddon was having a hard time with Chris and he kept changing back and forth from a hawk to himself.
`He is acting really weird here, he changes to a hawk and Chris to a fish and then they are back to themselves again,' he told Michael.
`Thank you baby boy, you did very well. I am very close now and should be there momentarily,' he replied soaring as if at the speed of light, hoping to stop his brother before he could successfully change and leave.
`What can I do to help, Mikey,' he asked, hating the name that Rickie called him.
Do nothing, wait for me to arrive,' he commanded. Rickie, its also Michael, not Mikey or even Mike, but Michael, got it...Richard?' he asked, using the name that irked Rickie to no end.
`Got it sir, and sorry sir,' he responded.
Abaddon finally managed to change into a hawk, but Chris fell to the balcony floor, still unchanged. Letting out with a great scream of rage, Abaddon turned back and lowered down to a knee beside Chris.
I think your brother is about to feed on Chris right here,' Rickie related to Michael. Where the fuck are you man,' he daringly asked, all nervous over what was about to happen to Chris.
`Remind me to give you a lesson in respect, boy,' he replied angrily.
Rickie heard a loud shriek and focused his many eyes on the rapidly approaching eagle that was diving, talons first, toward Abaddon, who was oblivious to his approaching brother.
`Die brother,' Michael's voice screamed out in Abaddon's mind.
Abaddon looked up just as the talons of Michael's eagle descended, tearing into Abaddon's eyes. Abaddon screamed out in rage, and although he fought to tear loose the talons from his face, he only managed to cause them to sink deeper.
`I'll not forget or forgive this, brother,' he screamed and tried to change into a vapor, but the talons held him fast and unable to shift.
Rickie saw his chance, he changed back into his normal self, ran into the living room where he remembered seeing a sword mounted on the wall. Just as he was about to grab it, Brian's hand reached it first.
"Allow me sweet cheeks," he said, taking the sword and following Rickie back into Chris' room.
"You gotta behead Abaddon, the eagle is Michael," Rickie said as he eagerly followed Brian.
Brian ran through the room and when he stepped onto the balcony, Rickie screamed aloud in his mind, `now ma'lord, release your hold,' and the eagle released his hold, flew upward just as the sword swung through the air, beheading Abaddon.
His head went rolling and came to rest at Rickie's feet, instantly, his body, and head, burst into flames and consumed all that had been Abaddon, leaving behind nothing but ashes.
Dazed by the sleep that had been induced on him, Chris stirred to a sitting position just as Michael materialized before him.
"Are you alright Chrysanthos, my love?" he asked, helping Chris to his feet and into his arms.
"I'm fine I think, and it's Christopher, not Chrysanthos dammit," he corrected Michael.
"We are good also, in case anyone cares," Brian said holding Rickie in his arms and out of the damaging rays of the sun.
"I am proud of your courage, Brian. You showed such blind courage when facing Abaddon, my friend."
Michael hugged Brian to him, looking over his shoulder at Rickie, who was equally proud of Brian.
`I am most proud of you also, Rickie,' he said still hugging Brian.
`Thank you ma'lord,' he said, bowing to Michael and holding the sword that had killed Abaddon.
`Michael will be sufficient, Rickie,' he said and shot the boy a warm smile, causing him to smile in return.
Brian could see that Michael wished to be alone with Chris, so he took Rickie by the hand and left the two men alone on the balcony. The sun's light was waning and a gentle summer breeze blew, embracing them as they came together in Michael's arms.
`Is it really over Michael, is Abaddon really dead,' Chris whispered in Michael's mind, his eyes locked with his.
Yes, my love, it's really over,' he replied, urging Chris closer. Tell me, why do you choose to communicate with me in the manner of my people and not with the words of yours?'
`I find this way to be so warm and intimate for some reason, as if I have used it all of my life,' he soothingly replied, laying his head against Michael's chest.
`I love you, Chris, I have always loved you,' he confessed, Chris lifted his head from Michael's chest and gazed up into his eyes.
`How can you say that you love me and always have, when we have known each other for what, twenty-four to forty-eight hours at the most?' he asked, pushing against the wide expanse of Michael's chest.
`I feel that I have loved and known you for a lifetime, my heart,' Michael said, but Chris turned away, his heart confused by what he felt.
Deep inside Chris' heart, he had felt that someone special lived there, someone that was created just for him to love. Then Michael comes along and with him, doubt and uncertainty, Chris did not know what he felt.
`I'm sorry, but I cannot love you Michael, not the way that you want me to, because my heart was created long ago for someone else,' he confessed, tears rolling down his cheeks.
He turned away, stepped into his bedroom, closing and locking the French doors behind him. He leaned against the doors and cried, over the hurt and disappointment in Michael's face when he told him that he could not love him and it tore at his own heart.
Michael leaped from the balcony, shape shifting in mid-air into an eagle and soaring away with a loud, angry shriek.
Ah but the war has just begun, brother,' Abaddon whispered and filled the silence of the dusk with raucous laughter as he looked down from his place of safety at the ashes on the balcony. Yes brother dear, the war has just begun and guess who the prize is,' he laughed and laughed hard and disappeared into a vapor.
Chris found himself watching for Michael as he dressed for work. Neither he, nor any of the others at home had seen or heard from him. Chris now felt badly for having said what he said, but he believed in honesty and did not want to lead Michael on.
"Hey big guy, how goes the battle," he turned quickly, but it was Patrick that had entered the locker room.
"It's going Pat, same old shit, just a different day," he said, and Patrick was quick to pick up on his despondency.
"What's wrong Chris, you and Michael have a lover's quarrel," he asked.
"We are not now or have we ever been, lovers," he snapped, slamming the door to his locker shut and walking off.
"Okay, I guess he told you, Pat," Patrick said to himself and then smiled. "Yessirebob, that boy has it bad," he mused as he opened his locker and pulled a clean shirt and pants from it.
"Good evening Pat, thanks again for this morning," Norm whispered as he came up beside the man.
"No Norm, thank you, that was the best damn fuck that I have had in years," he told him, looked quickly around and when he saw that they were alone, he kissed Norm.
"Wow... what the fuck was that for, Pat?"
"My way of saying thanks and how about hooking up again later," he said and kissed him again. "Let's say during lunch out at Five Mile Pond," he suggested.
"Damn, I can hardly wait for lunch to come," Norm said walking over to his own locker, his pants tenting out before him.
Chris only half heard what the captain was saying at roll call, for he was to busy watching for Michael to come in.
"Before you leave Nomikos, I'd like a word with you," Frank, the shift captain said, discharging the rest to go to their duties.
"Yes sir, what can I do for you," Chris asked.
"Agent Lakis is no longer with us, he's returned to Washington," Chris' heart sank faster than the Titanic as he listened to his captain, speak. "He said to give this to you before he left," he said and handed Chris a sealed envelope.
"Thank you sir, will that be all," he asked and Frank nodded, allowing Chris to leave.
Chris walked out to his cruiser with the envelope in hand and anger in his walk. Even though he had only been with Michael one night as a partner, he felt the loss of him as though his heart had been torn from him. He got in his cruiser and drove away, having tossed the envelope sat on the empty seat beside him.
"Car eighty-three on duty," he radioed to Blue.
"Ten-four sugar," she replied, and for a brief moment he smiled at her charm.
He drove aimlessly around, patrolling his beat and when he turned onto Taylor Street, he saw the usual boys that worked the area. There was Brad and Jamie, both looking like they were no more than twelve and then, their was, Artie, a self-assured boy of seventeen who saved every dollar he made, hoping to go to college someday to be an engineer. He waved as he passed each boy, wondering what in life had turned them to a sordid world of sex as a way to make a living. He looked for Rickie, but then remembered how he seemed to have vanished not long after Michael did.
Brian had been heart broken to see him gone, but he shrugged his shoulders and left Chris' apartment, heading home to get ready for his job as bartender.
As the night wore on, it was the usual, hauling in a couple of guys for disturbing the peace, a man for breaking and entering and giving out tickets for an array of traffic violations. Instead of heading over to the diner for lunch, he drove over to Forest Park and parked his cruiser down at the duck pond.
All night he had glanced over at the envelope on the seat beside him, and ignored it, that is until now. He picked it up and placed it to his nose, it had Michael's scent and he smiled. Gingerly he tore it open and pulled the folded letter from it. He wiped his eyes several times before he focused his attention on the words.
My dearest Chris,
If you are reading this, then you know that I have left and moved on to where I am needed and wanted. You hurt me today deeply with your rejection and as a Lamia, that has the ability to self-heal, I can say that my heart will never heal, now or in a thousand years, from the injury you have dealt it.
You said that your heart was promised long ago to another, and how I wish that person was me, because my love for you runs deep, deeper than anyone. You and me could ever begin to understand the depths and heights of the love I have for you. I do hope that you find that lucky man that holds your heart so tight in their hands. I wish you happiness and a long life, my dear sweet love.
Forever yours,
Michael
Chris was in tears when he refolded the single page and stuffed into his shirt pocket. He had to remain true to his heart, for it was promised long ago, long before he had ever been born. This was something that he knew, he felt and more so, he believed. But he also felt the deep loss and hurt that loosing Michael brought to his heart.
"Car eighty-three, we have a 211S in progress at the Video Galaxy," Blue announced.
"Ten-four that and responding," he announced back and took off with lights flashing as he made his way to the mention address.
"Back up is on its way," she added.
`Ten-four that, Blue," he replied.
Video Galaxy was an adult bookstore that closed each night at midnight. It was close to four now and if the silent alarm was going off, then it meant that someone had tripped it while entering the establishment.
He parked in front of the store, pulled his gun out as he got out of the cruiser and was about to proceed when another cruiser pulled up. Norm stepped from the cruiser quickly and hurried over to Chris.
"Have you seen anyone yet," he asked and Chris shook his head.
"I was about to go around to the back when you showed up. Keep an eye on the front door, I'm going around to the back," he said, leaving the officer in the front, while he proceeded down the alley adjacent to the building.
"Maintain radio contact," Norm called out and Chris nodded.
As he approached the side door, he saw that it was slightly ajar. He pulled his flashlight from his side, clicked it on and proceeded toward the door.
"The side door is slightly ajar," he quietly spoke into his radio. "I'm going in Norm, and turning off my radio's sound," he added, which was normal so that a sudden call from dispatch did not alert intruders to a cops' presence.
With the toe of his shoe, he slowly inched the door open, and when sure that it was safe to do so, he stepped in and shown his light around the store room.
"Store room is empty, heading into the main store," he whispered into his mic, and then stealthily moved through the opened door and into the main area of the store.
Security lights made it possible to see without his flashlight, he switched it off but held on to it as he moved about the store. He suddenly froze when the sound of something falling to the floor told him that he was not alone.
He heard a whisper; there were two he now thought as he moved closer to where he thought the voices came from. He was close, the voices were a bit louder, he jumped up, and with his gun aimed forward, he called out to the intruders.
"Police, come out with your hands in the air where I can see them," he commanded and two boys around sixteen, stood up from behind the counter.
They both wore a smile and chuckled, which alarmed him. He moved a step closer and then he felt it, a hard, sharp blow to the back of his head.
"Fuck, there were three," he said before the darkness overtook him.
Wait until master sees what we have brought him,' one boy said to the others. He will be well pleased with us,' he added as they worked carefully to strip and then bind him.
Darkness enveloped Chris as he drifted off into a dream world and he felt himself moving, flying through the air yet not knowing where he was going. Home, he thought, he was going home and when he finally found sound footing, he was near a cave. He knew this place, this cave and yet its opening was not yet fully visible to him.
"This is Crete, the origin of my ancestors," he whispered, walking slowly towards the cave, but waiting.
The tide, I must wait for the tide to go out, he thought. The night about him was cloudy; a summer storm had threatened the Grecian island of Crete all day, but had yet to materialize. Chris watched with anticipation as the tide receded and finally the entrance was there.
I'm coming, my love,' he cried out, using the same mental path that he had used with Michael, but yet it was not he that Chris was looking for. Alexandros I am here,' he cried out, tasting the name as if it were honey on his lips.
I am here my love,' Alexandros said, stepping from the shadows with his arms outstretched to him. Come there so much to share and so little time,' his words whispered to his heart as they ran hand in hand into the shelter of their own private paradise.
A large fire roared inside the cave, bringing warmth and light to the small room. A bed, their bed lay sprawled beside the fire with wine, cheese and grapes awaiting them beside it.
`Have you missed me, my love,' Chris asked, pulling Alexandros down to the bed with him.
`Does the sky miss the moon and stars if they were not there,' he replied, waving his hand and making their clothes disappear.
`How much longer must we wait until we can openly live together as mates?' Chris asked.
`Soon my love, there is so much that needs to be done, for I will be king and then you shall see how I deal with those that oppose me, Chrysanthos.' He assured Chris.
`What did you call me,' he asked.
`Chrysanthos, for you are my brother's lover," he replied moving to a sitting position, which left him hovering over Chris. "Alexandros, your lover and my identical twin is not here. But I, Abaddon is,' Abaddon said and laughed, pinning Chrysanthos beneath him.
`Alexandros please...I need you,' his words were clear, yet distressing as he reached out mentally for his lover.
Abaddon thrust his sex into Chrysanthos; violently he raped him, uncaring of the cries that tore from him. When he had sated his sexual need, he looked down at the ravaged lad and sank his teeth deep into his vein.
Chris felt what Chrysanthos felt, as his life's blood slowly drained from him. The fire's light turned to grey and then to black, as the last of his blood and life slipped from him, but not before he saw the sword that would sever his head. Abaddon had it raised and waited for death to take him.
Chris' eyes sprang open, sweat poured from his brow and he could feel that he was bound to some kind of stone platform or altar.
"Ah, how nice of you to awaken and join me," Abaddon said with a smile. "Surprise!" he shouted, holding out his hands as if this was all a big party.
"No, I'm still dreaming because you are dead," Chris said as he pulled against the rope that held him secure to the altar.
"News flash, my dear Chrysanthos, I'm alive and well, that was a faithful servant that was killed. Funny thing about shape shifting, one can take on the appearance of anything or anyone that he wishes," he said coldly.
"I am not Chrysanthos, you yourself killed him, I saw it in my dream," Chris demanded, struggling against the ropes that bound him.
"Ah yes, what a loss it was for my brother, and how pathetic he looked when your head, a mere human, rolled across the cave floor and came to rest at his feet."
"My head, it was not my head, but this man's head, Chrysanthos," he argued.
"Chrysanthos, Christopher, they are you my dear boy, your essence continuously rebirths until you find rest or whatever it is that your essence is seeking. In your case, it's my brother's love that will hold you forever here," he said laughing. "How unfortunate though, but you will be waiting again to be reborn, and again I shall seek you out and kill you, as I have for the last hundreds of years," he said as he turned away, and laughed with a sound so evil that it chilled Chris to his bones.
`Michael where are you, I need your help,' he screamed in his mind, as he mentally sought out Michael, but to no avail.
Chris lay there, tied to the altar, wondering if what Abaddon had told him was true, and if so, then where was his Alexandros. Certainly if this was true, then God would not continually let him drift through time without there ever being a chance to find his Alexandros.
`Slave,' Abaddon cried out in his mind and his slave instantly appeared.
`Yes my master,' he said, bowing so low that it threatened to topple him over.
`Guard him while I am away, and if anyone dares to come close, kill him,' Abaddon ordered, shoving a large, curved sword into his hands.
Abaddon, with the wave of his hand, disappeared into thin air.
Chris struggled fruitlessly against his robes, praying for the strength to break them. He stopped, he felt the presence of someone, not Abaddon, but someone less threatening.
"Please let me go...I'll take you with me whoever you are," Chris begged aloud, still struggling with the ropes.
"Shhhh, lay still and let me get these knots untied," the servant whispered as his fingers worked frantically to untie the ropes.
"Oh my God thank you," he cried and once his right hand was released he worked feverishly on the left, while the servant worked to free Chris' feet.
"You really do have a wickedly awesome body, you know,"
"Yeah well, this is hardly the time to take stock in my body, we gotta get out of here before he returns," Chris said, tossing the last of the ropes aside.
Freed, he got down from the stone altar, his legs were weak from having been so tightly bound for so long and he toppled to the floor. He rose with the slave's help, and walked from the cave. Once outside, Chris looked all around him, not recognizing where he was.
"Where are we and who are you," he asked shielding his eyes against the brilliance of the setting sun.
"You are on the island of Crete in the Aegean Sea," he was told.
"Crete, how in hell did I get here, wait, I don't want to know. But what I do want to know is, who are you?"
`Do you not recognize me... officer?' Rickie whispered in Chris' mind and suddenly vanished and reappeared as himself.
"Rickie? But I thought that..." Chris cried out, rushing into his arms and hugging him tight in thanks.
"Damn, if'n I had known that saving your sexy ass was what it took to get you, I would have done it long ago," Rickie said, pulling Chris tightly to him and dropping his hands down to his hard ass.
"Boy!" was all it took for Rickie to release Chris and drop in submission to his knees.
"Michael," Chris said and rushed into his arms.
Michael pressed his mouth to Chris' and kissed him, kissed him as he had never kissed him before.
"Come, for the sun sets and with it, the return of my brother," he warned. "Now my love, I need you to trust me like you have never trusted before," he told him.
"Why do..." and he was instantly changed into a rabbit and in the talons of a mighty eagle, soaring across dusk's purple satin sky and over the waves of the sea, followed by a dove.
`Oh God don't drop me, Michael,' a panicked Chris related to his mind.
`Have faith in your lover to keep you safe,' he whispered and Chris let out a mental scream as the eagle, Michael, dove downward, heading directly for what look like solid rock.
`If he drops you cupcake, I'll catch you,' Rickie mused.
`You are a pigeon, how in hell would you ever... ooooooh shit,' he screamed in his mind and closed his eyes, mentally praying. Suddenly it happened, without a word of warning he felt weightless as if he were mist. He was and he was moving through a crack so thin, so small, that not even a human hair would have fit through it.
"Ooooooooooh fuck," he was screaming aloud when he materialized deep within the rock, and inside a large cave.
Michael stood there, naked, his hands on his hips, and staring at Chris, who was shivering and also naked.
"You may be accustomed to being naked inside a cold cave, but I can assure that I am not," he said and instantly, a roaring fire appeared.
Chris moved closer to the flames and paused, it looked like a fire, gave off the heat of a fire, yet it was not fire, he determined by placing his hand over it first and then directly into the flames, feeling no pain, no burns.
"It's merely an illusion that I created in your mind to warm you," he said and Chris found that it did warm him.
"Sorry boss I'm late, but that mist thing was a bit tricky," Rickie said, appearing beside Chris. "By the way, he so hates me calling him boss," he whispered with a chuckle and Michael rolled his eyes.
"What am I to do with you," Michael asked.
"I have a few ideas, seeing how we are all naked, boss," Rickie mused and Michael waved a hand and suddenly they were dressed, but in togas.
"This is so not cool, a dress," he said as he took in his attire. "And no undies," Rickie said amused, lifting the skirt of his toga and seeing his cock hanging there.
"Go to your room boy, now," Michael commanded and Rickie shrugged his shoulders and disappeared.
"You really didn't have to be so stern with him, after all, he's just a teenager," Chris argued in Rickie's defense.
"An incorrigible one at that, who is learning through discipline," he stated, taking Chris into his embrace. "Come, lets sit and I'll answer the myriad of questions that you must have," and again with the wave of a hand, a large bed appeared.
"I thought that you said sit, that's a bed," Chris said as Michael placed his hand to the small of his back and guided Chris to the bed.
"Sit, lie, does it really matter for you?"
"It does when you have ulterior motives, mister," he reminded him.
"Seriously Chrysanthos, if you would be..."
"Wait one damn minute mister, the name is Chris, Christopher, and never has it been Chrysanthos, got it? I am sick and tired of being called by some dead dude's name."
Chris turned and walked over to the fire and gazed at it. He stiffened when he felt Michael's hands slide about his waist. Michael pulled Chris back against his chest and began nuzzling his neck. Chris tried to hold his own, but quickly succumbed to the feelings that Michael's lips invoked.
`Babe, look at me, please,' he whispered seductively in Chris' mind.
`No...you are going to use that mind control on me,' he said.
`Please,' was all Michael replied.
Chris turned slowly in Michael's arms, and looked up into those deep, hypnotic eyes of his.
"What is the real issue here, surely it's not the name, I'll call you Amos, George or whatever other name you want, but I want you, the man.
"I can't Michael; I am beginning to come to terms with all this old soul stuff and my soul drifting down through the ages, looking for my other half that completes me."
"What are you saying then, that because I am not this man that you feel your heart and soul has been bonded to, then I am not good enough to love?"
Michael turned and moved away from Chris, and instantly, the void filled with coldness. Chris sighed, he knew what his heart wanted, but he also had fallen in love with Michael. He walked up behind Michael, wrapped his arms about his waist, and laid his cheek against his strong back.
`I've fallen in love with you, you do know that don't you,' he said aloud, turning his face and placing small kisses across Michael's back.
I've loved you since time immortal, Chris,' he whispered to him, he too choosing the more intimate way to communicate with Chris. I want us to be together for always, sharing our hearts, our souls and all that we are, as one.'
`Can't we just take it a day at a time, Michael, instead of looking to tomorrow and the next day or year, when for all we know, Abaddon might kill me the next time he grabs me.'
`As you wish, today is all that either of us has, well for you that is. Me, I have lived for nearly three thousand years, and still feel as if it were but a day. My days run on and on, and do you know why.'
Chris shook his head.
`Because I don't have you in it is why. My life has been nothing since that night when I saw you... Chrysanthos, when I saw your head roll across the floor to my feet. Your eyes were wide open and look to me, speaking of betrayal. I had betrayed you by not being there to protect you from my brother...'
Chris pushed away from Michael, slowly shaking his head as his mind came to realize what his heart already knew.
"Wait one minute... you, you were the one that Chrysanthos was promised to? But I thought that he was beloved of Alexandros, your brother," he inquired, shocked by the revelation.
Yes Chrysanthos, you were, for I am Alexandros, not Michel,' he whispered, and stepped away from Chris. After I lost you, I drifted around the earth in search of Abaddon. Time passed, bodies mounted up across Europe and I followed my brother's path of death.'
`Then who took your place when it came time for you to be king?'
`My brother Michel sits on the throne until my son is of age, which he will be come the new year and with a new millennium," he said and waited for his reaction, and react he did.
`You married? You that promised never to love again, married a woman?' he screamed.
Michael grabbed him to him and kissed him heatedly before releasing him.
`You asked who took my place as king, and I said my heir. I never said that I married or fathered a child. There was only one child that I fell in love with, Demetrius, your child Chrysanthos. When you and I exchanged our vows of love that night in the cave, it bound our souls as one for all eternity, and what is mine is yours and so it is with you, is also mine. Your son became my son also that night we joined our hearts and souls together. I converted him upon his thirteenth birthday, the year a child becomes a man and left him with my father to be raised as my heir to the throne, so that I could search out Abaddon. I reckon that our heir is about to take his place once the millennium changes to the year 2000."
`Demetrius, my son lives,' a shocked Chris asked, and he marveled that he remembered the boy.
As Chris walked away, his mind drifted back to that day that his son had been placed into his arms, his mother still warm and yet dead, having died giving birth to him. He remembered the soft golden curls, blue eyes that were also his and vowed to love him and give him a legal name.
`You did that for my son, you took him as your own,' he asked, touched by the love that this man had for him.
`I did it for you, for the love that we shared, Chrysanthos, and for no other reason. When I converted and fed him upon his resurrection, I placed my blood into his veins and so made him of my royal lineage.'
Then it is you that my heart has been waiting for, Alexandros,' Chris stated and rushed over into the outstretched arms of Michael. I don't know if I can call you Alexandros now that I know you as only Michael,' he confessed.
`I don't care what you call me, darling, it's just a name. But what I do demand is that you call me yours for the rest of eternity.'
Michael lowered his mouth to Chris' and kissed him passionately, deeply and with soul. Chris entwined his fingers through the black silkiness of Michael's hair, pulling him so close that their lips bruised from the magnitude of their kiss.
`I love you...Chrysanthos, Christopher or Chris, for it doesn't matter the name, I love the man that is standing here in my arms,' he whispered into the depths of Chris' mind as he lowered him down onto the bed.
How about we call ourselves, Chris and Alex,' Chris whispered back, gazing up at the man that his heart had spent millenniums looking for and finally found. So tell me, just what is my last name?'
`We are forever more, Chris and Alex Michelakakis,' he told him and then kissed him.
The sound of clapping echoed through the cave and shattered their peace. Alex drew Chris up from the bed, with Chris being kept behind him for protection and they turned to see Abaddon standing before them.
"How touching, Chris and Alex Michelakakis, why you make me want to cry and say, oh what the hell, go, love and live long," he said with that evil laugh trailing his words. "NOT, it's not happening, take them," he commanded to his minions beside him and then bound Alex with the same chains of Ash wood that had once bound Abaddon. Chris was bound once again with the ropes that had bound him to the stone altar.
"Let him go Abaddon, it is me that you want," Alex demanded.
"But I want you both, dear brother, bring them," he shouted and shifted to mist, as so did the others and flowed from the cave. `My heart will take great pleasure when you watch me take your betrothed sexually and then make him my slave for all of eternity,' Abaddon said and followed it with an evil laugh.
"By the Gods I will kill you, Abaddon," Michael screamed out.
"Come," Abaddon commanded, waved his hand and all turned to mist and vanished from the cave.
To be continued...
