Gay

Hello all, and welcome to Lust in Miami! I've been "using" Nifty for a few years now, and I've always been very...interested in the way authors depict growing love, scenes between people and settings. I have decided to try my hand in writing a story! There may be more chapters. There may not be. I am not going to say it depends on how much reception I get from this story, but it will depend on how much time I have to commit to a series.

As I have seen, I apparently have to include a disclaimer. I am above age, meaning I can legally write this story. If you are not of legal age to read this, leave now. If it is illegal to read this in your state, territory, or local government district, please leave now. This story will eventually depict people of high school age in some very descriptive gay sex scenes. If that bothers you, leave...now. If not, I hope you enjoy my story.

This story and its characters belong explicitly to the author, and may not be reproduced in any way, shape or form outside of the author's explicit authorization.

Lust in Miami

Ch. 1 – The Beginning and the End

My eyes fluttered open, and I knocked over the empty whiskey bottle on my nightstand from jerking awake so quickly. The pounding in my head was already starting. A feint blue could be seen out of my windows, and I knew the sun would be clawing its way over the horizon soon. I could feel how wet my dick still was after last night's...activities. I looked to my right and there was the guy I brought home with me. His name started with an "R"...I think. To be honest, I thought I was over blondes.

"Wake up." I shook his shoulder. His grogginess was apparent but I knew exactly what to say to wake him up.

"A cab is waiting for you downstairs. Leave." His eyes opened, and turning to me he grinned.

"I should have guessed you'd send me away." He leaned in and trailed a finger down my chest. "It was fun. My ass is still leaking."

I rolled my eyes and pulled away from him. He sighed and nodded. "See you later." I doubted it.

Once he was gone, I stepped out of my bed, naked, and walked into my en-suite. I let the water from the shower wash away the sweat and grime from last night. Pouring my body wash into my hands, I lathered the pine scented soap and began rubbing it into my muscles. There was not a sore muscle on my body – I don't dance when I go to clubs. But massaging the lather into my skin felt amazing. I made sure to soap up my underarms and chest, and made my way to my groin. My dick was still puffed up, and covered in my cum. Lathering it up, I weighed it in my hand. I love my dick, even though sometimes it can get me into the worst trouble. Thank fuck my parents had the foresight to have me cut.

I finished with my legs, rinsed off the soap, and grabbed a towel from the counter. It was cold in my room today. Going into my closet, I threw on some sweats and a tee and stepped into the hallway.

There was no sign of anyone upstairs, so I made my way to the first floor and entered the kitchen. There I found my mother sitting at the breakfast table while the housekeeper was serving her orange juice. Although it was only 5:30 a.m., my mother is an even earlier morning riser than myself.

"Good morning mother. How was your night?"

Looking up from her newspaper, she gave me a disapproving glare. "A lot quieter than yours was, apparently. Must you insist on bringing your rabble home, Matthew?"

I raised an eyebrow and grinned at her. "Well mother, I would set them up in a hotel suite downtown, but I figured it would be easier to have sex with them under your roof. It rather ups the wow factor, don't you think?" I gestured to the view of the Atlantic ocean from our penthouse out the window.

"Hmm, and here I thought a visit to your father's would have steered you away from those proclivities." Turning away, she took a sip of her juice and continued, "Well, far be it from me to stop you. Just make sure next time they don't throw up on the foyer rug? Maria had a terrible time this morning cleaning it up."

Smiling, I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and nodded. "Anything for you, mother." I grabbed my car keys from one of the kitchen drawers and headed down the elevator. Walking through the parking garage I hopped into my Audi and peeled out of the building. The sun still had not come up over the water, and the beach was looking rather empty for an early Saturday morning. I pulled up to Equinox, the gym, and handed my car keys to the valet. The kid looked to be about 16, and was of obvious Latino descent like most of the people here. He had a nice ass.

As I worked on my arms I checked out the guys here on the second floor of the building. Most were middle-aged men probably getting a workout in before having to pretend to be interested in golf while settling a business deal. Shaking my head I figured my father was probably doing the same thing back in New York. Taking a break, I took a second to check out the younger guys on this floor. Many were in their late 20s and were doing some serious reps. Most were tanned, but not from genetics I would guess. There were a few people around my age; the early risers of the world, getting it done before the day even starts. Smiling to myself, I started on the treadmill.

After about 40 minutes my phone went off. Jason wanted me to meet him at the new place on Ocean for breakfast.

Jason has been my best friend since we were little kids growing up in Key Biscayne. Our fathers were both litigators in the same firm and our mothers ran in the same social circles, so it only made sense for us to get to know one another. Growing up we learned how to jerk off, smoke weed, and spend money. The week my father and mother split up he convinced his parents to take me to their lodge in Aspen and we hung out there smoking and drinking until I was ready to come back home. When I came out to him, instead of rejecting me like I thought he might, he took me out to the skankiest gay club in the city and made sure I danced with every guy in the place. Jason was a really good friend to me and I cared for him a lot.

I received my car from the valet with the nice ass and drove down Lincoln road. Living in Miami was not without its benefits, and a huge variety of places to eat from was one of them. I parked in front of the new restaurant and walked in. The place was done tastefully, a little European mixed with a little Caribbean. The restaurant was empty, and I could tell I was early to meet Jason. I sat down at a table facing the street. The ceiling fans were turning, but I knew that was just for aesthetics since the industrial air conditioner was the one doing the work of cooling the room down. Not a benefit of Miami? The heat coupled with humidity.

My waiter came around to my right side. He was dressed in a pale blue linen shirt with white trousers. There was something familiar about him.

"Good morning, my name is Jonathan. Are you ready to order sir?" I noticed how his shirt, though not tight, showed off his slim body. The trousers didn't hide his ass either. Looking into his face, he had soft looking lips, warm hazel eyes that showed off his European ancestry, and sun-kissed skin. My dick began to grow in my sweats.

"I'll have the omelet with everything, an order of the turkey bacon, and an espresso." As he wrote my order down I added, "My friend is going to be here in a few minutes. Just get him the same as well." The waiter, Jonathan, nodded and walked to the back. Glancing at my phone I checked to see if I had any messages. 19 missed calls and 25 voicemails. I knew exactly who they were from. Rolling my eyes, I tried killing some time by flinging birds at pigs. Yeah, the game is old and totally over, but it was fun and a tremendous stress reliever. Before I knew it, I saw Jason's BMW parallel park behind my car.

"What's up dude?!" Jason gave me a bro hug and sat down. He was definitely more of a hyper surfer dude than the chem nerd he really is, but God works in mysterious ways...or so I hear.

"So Matt, what the fuck happened after last night?"

I took a sip of water. "What do you mean?"

"I mean one second you're taking shots with me and the next all I see is your skinny little ass leaving the place and an even skinnier and littler ass hanging on your arm!"

"First of all, my ass is not skinny." Jason snickered. "Second of all, what's it to you?"

"I guess you fucked him then?"

Looking down at my phone I said, "Yeah, and my mom wasn't happy about it."

"What do you mean? I thought your mom was cool with you dating guys."

"I'm not dating anyone, Jay. It just so happens he couldn't hold his liquor and he threw up the moment we came in through the door. My mom was pretty pissed."

Jason just laughed into his water and smiled. "Well, I guess it's time for you to stop picking up so many people from bars then, right?"

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, and you're the archbishop now?"

"Pssh, at least the archbishop worships only one guy."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing, nothing." He took another sip of water and looked off to the side.

"Jay, what is it?"

He looked me in the eye and sighed. "Okay look, I'm probably the last person that can tell you what to do with your love life –"

"Damn straight! You fuck everything that moves!"

Rolling his eyes, he continued, "- but I'm worried about you Matt. Ever since you came out to me, you've become a little...I don't know, a little promiscuous."

Squinting my eyes I looked right at him. "And since when are you so chaste that you can judge me?"

"I'm not judging you, dude."

"It sure sounds like it from where I'm sitting."

"I'm just wondering if what you're doing is really making you happy." The worried look on his face made me think. Maybe I would get a little carried away with the whole one night stand thing. But Jason was seriously the last person on the planet who could tell me anything about my love life. He wasn't exactly known for being a loyal romantic. He had never had a steady girlfriend before – not that there weren't a million girls at school who would want to give it a try.

"Look, the day I need help figuring out how to successfully go on three dates in one night, I'll come to you." He grinned and quietly laughed at his own memory. "In the meantime, I will do whatever makes me happy and whatever makes me feel good, okay?"

After a moment he shrugged and nodded. "I guess that's fair."

Once a few moments of silence passed, our waiter came around and delivered our food. As he set the plates down in front of us, he noticed Jason and his eyes grew wide. After setting down our dishes, he turned and walked away, but while I began to dig in, Jason just looked at Jonathan's retreating form.

Waving my fork in front of him, I said, "Earth to Jason."

"Huh?" He looked at me. "Oh, sorry."

"What's up?"

"Nothing." He began to pack his mouth full of food. I grinned at him and kept eating my food.

Once we were done, and waiting for the waiter to bring the check, I looked at my phone again. 23 missed calls and 29 voicemails. Someone was getting persistent. When I looked up from my phone, I could see Jason was glaring at someone behind me. I turned around and all I could see was Jonathan walking towards us. I turned back around to look at Jason and waved my hand in his face.

"So, are you going to tell me why you have the death glare on your face or what?"

Jason looked at me. "No."

Taken aback, I said, "What do you mean no?"

"It's none of your business, Matt."

Eyes widened, I stood up from my chair. "Well then I guess I should just leave." I walked out the door and onto the steps of the restaurant.

What the fuck was that? I was about to get into my car when I realized I forgot my phone inside. I stepped back into the place when I heard raised voices. "- you not to fucking come back!" That was Jason's voice.

"I'm sorry, but I had to come back!" Jonathan?

"Oh, so you just had to come back to ruin everyone's life again?" What the hell was going on?

"I came back for my family. I would never hurt anyone like that! I told you it wasn't my fault it happened!"

"Right, you're just a fucking saint while he was the anti-Christ, right?" Who were they talking about? What's going on?

"Look Jason, I'm really sorry, but it wasn't my fault my brother turned out to be a complete maniac. I am sorry about what he did. But all I did was stop him from hurting anyone else!"

"You little fucker, you hurt the person I probably love most in the world! Matt didn't deserve to have that happen!" At the mention of my name, I just had to stop them. I had an idea of what they were talking about.

"Jonathan?" They both froze.

"Matt! I thought you left!" I looked at Jason's horrified face.

"Jonathan?" He looked at me. "You're Anthony's brother?"

He nodded, and then I could see it. The warm skin. The arched brows. The dark hair. The firm, set jaw. Those hazel eyes...those fucking hazel eyes.

"Matt, let's go. Let's just leave" I looked at Jason and nodded.

I grabbed my phone from the table, and as Jason and I walked out, Jonathan cried out. "Matthew, I'm sorry!"

I got into my car, with Jason climbing in next to me, and collapsed on the steering wheel, a gasp and whimper escaping my lips. The memories broke through the dam I built up in my mind. The dates, the music, the smells, the love, and the betrayal.

Fucking Anthony.

Jason draped his arm around my shoulder and squeezed me into him. I relaxed a little and wiped the lone tear from my eye. "What the hell is he doing here?"

"That's what I was asking him." Jason looked down at me. "Are you going to be okay?"

I looked down at my lap and nodded softly. "Yeah...yeah, it was just the shock of seeing him...he looks so much like..."

"Yeah, I know Matt." After a pause he said, "Look, let me drive you home and we can...I dunno, hang out or whatever." I closed my eyes. I really didn't want to talk about this, and I knew hanging around Jason it would come up one way or another, but I did not want to be alone right now.

As we switched sides, my phone went off. I looked at the screen. A picture came up in sharp clarity with a name across the top.

"Who is it Matt?"

"It's Anthony. What should I do?"

He looked at me and sighed. "What you've been doing ever since you left him four months ago. Ignore it."

I felt a pang of guilt cross my heart when I hit the red ignore button, but I just couldn't deal with him. Not now...and maybe not ever.

The drive to my house was a short one. It was already getting hot since the sun was hanging low in the sky, and it would only get hotter once the day dragged on. Summers were brutal here.

Up in my room, Jason made himself comfortable and hopped onto my bed. I didn't want to tell him what had transpired on my bed the night before, but once I started laughing I couldn't help myself.

"What the fuck are you laughing at Matt?"

I tried to restrain myself. "Nothing Jay. Nothing."

"Yeah fucking right. Tell me."

Restraints and I never saw eye-to-eye anyway. "You're lying down on top of two guys' cum. Just thought you should know." I cocked my head and walked over to my closet. I heard quick rustling and sheets being tossed on the floor. When I looked back Jason was lying down on a naked bed. I snickered and went into my closet.

A walk-in was always something I wanted, and when my parents decided on this place it was all I could do to keep from jumping up and down in joy. It was a relaxing space with lots of mirrors and carpeting. I took off my sweats and tee and pulled on some shorts and a tank-top.

Walking back in Jason was talking on his phone in a hushed voice. "Just make sure he doesn't come back to the city, okay?...No, Matt doesn't need to know that I'm keeping tabs on him...just do your fucking job and report to me, okay? And make sure my father hears nothing of this." He slammed his phone down onto the bed and sighed heavily.

Pretending not to have heard anything, I walked up to him. "So, anything new? Besides you loving me, of course." I rolled my eyes and walked to my desk.

He looked me up and down and whistled. "Fuck, if I wasn't straight I wouldn't let you out of this room."

I winked at him. "You're just lucky you're bigger than me."

Jason had a puzzled look on his face. "What do you mean?"

"Nothing, I just can't stand being topped by a guy smaller than me." I sat down at my desk and swiveled the chair towards my bed.

Jason's eyes bugged out. "Wait, since when do you bottom?"

"I don't, I've just done it a few times. It's okay." I shrugged.

"Did you ever...you know...with...?" I rolled my eyes. I have to give him credit. He held out for a full ten minutes.

"Do we have to talk about him now?" I leaned back and put my hands behind my head. "Can't we just relax here?"

"Yeah Matt, let's pretend we didn't just see the brother of your ex-lover. The ex-lover who was your first lover, I might add. And the brother who tore the two of you apart. Want to play a board game while we're at it?" He rolled his eyes. "We are gonna talk about this now."

"Fine. What do you want to talk about?"

He rubbed his chin for a few seconds in thought. "Tell me about how you two met."

"Jay, come on. You already know that story. It's old news. This is all old news."

"Yeah, well pretend I didn't know this old news."

I drew in a quick breath and exhaled. "Fine." He leaned back onto my bed.

Friday April 8, 2011

It was two days after partying with Jay. I was hung over as hell, but I couldn't let my mother see because I was still trying really hard to convince her to let me stay with my father in New York for our annual summer hang-outs. Partying on a Wednesday is really stupid, especially since I knew I had to go to school the next two days. Anyway, being in my hung-over state, and my mind wandering elsewhere, I wasn't exactly paying attention to where I was walking. I was glancing down at my phone because Jason sent me a text remarking how badly he needed his third Bloody Mary for the day; that's when I first knocked into him.

We both fell back onto our asses and I landed pretty hard on the school's marble floor. Luckily my bag kept me from hitting my head on said floor, but big guy over there wasn't so lucky. I heard the crack on the marble and my heart stopped. I looked over at him and his eyes were closed.

I rushed to his side and looked into his face. The lips were pouted perfectly, his skin was the color of melted caramel, and his hair was black as coal. He was beautiful...and he also wasn't breathing.

Going to a private school teaches you a lot of things; one was to worry about the legal repercussion of anything you do on school grounds. The other was to teach you the legal repercussions of doing nothing. With one hand pitching his head back, I lowered his jaw with my other hand and covered his lips with mine. Breathing for him was simple enough, but it was his taste that was getting to me. I sensed some chocolate and vanilla with a hint of honey, and I wanted more. While still breathing steadily I invaded his mouth with my tongue, and it was heaven. His mouth was hot and tasted like the most luxurious candy. I wanted more. I wanted to dive into him and never come back again.

That's when I noticed his eyes were open. And he was tonguing me back. And I knew I made a terrible mistake.

Blushing furiously, I stood up and stepped away from him. He looked straight into my eyes and gave me the biggest smile I had ever seen. His perfect white teeth were marvelous and his eyes crinkled.

"Hello, I'm Anthony Van Rossen. Wanna help me up?"

I was taken aback and still blushing madly. I held my hand out without looking at him and helped him up. The warmth of his hand surprised me, and it engulfed me.

Still not being able to look at his eyes, I sputtered, "You `kay?"

He nodded and smiled again. Fuck, my knees went weak. Then I remembered where we were. The main corridor of a school. The main corridor of a private Catholic school. The main corridor of a private Catholic school that was packed full of teenaged boys staring at Anthony and I. My heart plummeted.

Somehow he sensed my uneasiness and looked at the crowd. "Damn, I can't believe my parents paid $50,000 to send me to a school that has other students that'll knock me out when I bump into them! We might as well have axe murderers be our teachers!" The crowd laughed and hollered at the joke and began to disperse. I myself began walking away when I felt a hand on my shoulder. A large, warm hand.

He turned me around, but I still couldn't look him in the eye. He placed a finger gently under my chin, and tipped my head up.

To be honest, most people aren't tall enough to make me look up to talk to them. Jason was one exception. But I barely reached this guy's chin. It was intimidating...and my dick was harder than it ever was before.

"So, what's your name?"

I was lost. I finally looked into his eyes and knew I could never escape them. They were green. No, blue. No, they were honey. Shit...they were beautiful. And I was fucked.

"M-Matthew. Matthew Baron." I shot my hand out at him. "Nice to meet you."

He grinned slyly and pulled me in with my hand. I could swear that was his flashlight poking me in the thigh, except flashlights aren't customary on Catholic school grounds. I gulped.

"It's really nice to meet you Matthew...and your tongue." I think my face became the color of our school uniforms right about then. Any guesses as to what that color may be?

He leaned in closer. "How's about we get to know each other a little more?" He reached into my pocket and grazed my dick. I almost died. Thinking he wanted more, I leaned my groin into him more. Except he didn't want more. He wanted my phone.

He tapped away on the screen for a few seconds and then handed my phone back to me. Licking his bottom lip, he said, "You taste good, you know?"

"How good?" I shuddered at my courage.

He grinned and leaned into my ear. "Almost as good as I think your dick would taste."

No! I would rather be a coward! "Uhh...God, do you do that to everyone?"

His killer smile flashed across his face again. "Nah, I don't think the straight boys would appreciate the art of pick-up lines the way you do. Not mine, at least." He picked his bag up off the floor. "So, when I send you my text message, what are you gonna do?"

I looked down at my phone and saw what he put as his contact ID. "I'm going to try my best not to laugh at seeing `Anthony the Great' pop up on my phone and respond in a very well-mannered amount of time."

He crinkled his eyes and leaned in close. "I use that nickname for a reason. Maybe when you see my text you'll understand why." With that, he shouldered his bag and walked away.

Then I saw his ass.

That's when I knew I was fucked for good.

Jason just laid there on my bed, dying of laughter.

"Shut up Jay!"

Settling down, he raised his hands up in protest. "Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But my God. I mean the part about the eyes was good enough, but the ass? You have to tell that story at my mom's next fundraiser!"

Rolling my eyes and getting up from my chair, I pushed him off of my bed. "Come on, let's go watch some movies or something."

"But wait Matt, I need to know what he sent you!"

"Oh God, Jay, are we really doing this? I thought you just wanted to know how we met."

"Yeah, at first. But you know me. I'm a sucker for Gossip Girl, and I'm a sucker for gossip. That's what's happening now!"

I looked at him incredulously. "Yeah, except you have no girlfriend, we are not in Brooklyn, and I am not going to give you pointers on how to have a threesome, remember?"

"Who said I'm Dan?" He snickered and settled back onto my bed. "Now, onto the story."

"Just hold your horses dude." He snorted at that. "Let me get some water."

Walking into my hallway, I slid down the wall and hugged my knees. It was all fun and games for Jason, but this was killing me. Talking about Anthony brought back so many memories of him I was trying to push away. I could still feel his touch on me. His piercing eyes were still in my memory. And his smell...damn you Jay!

I picked myself off the floor and headed to the kitchen. There, a note from my mother hinted at her wanting to meet me for dinner tonight at some restaurant nearby. I refolded the note and left it on the counter. Grabbing a bottle from the fridge, I started walking back to my room when the house phone began to ring. I picked up the receiver. "Baron Residence, how may I help you?"

A long pause. "...Matthew?"

I froze up. No. No! What the hell! "Um, y-yes this is him." Fuck you, voice! Be stronger!

"It's me. We need to talk."

This is the last thing I wanted. This is why I have been ignoring his calls for months. He could convince me to do anything he wanted. He still had me wrapped around his little finger.

Still, I tried my best. "We have nothing to talk about."

I could hear him sigh into his microphone. "Please Matthew. We need to talk about things."

"You had plenty of time to do that when we were together! Now it's over and I am moving on."

"Yes, Jonathan has told me of your recent...pursuits." My breathing stopped. Fuck.

"So that's why you called. What's it to you?"

"It's everything to me, my little M." Asshole. He used the nickname. His nickname for me!

"Listen, you...you jerk – " That's seriously the best I could do!? "- I'm not listening to you anymore. You had your chance with me. You blew it. And I mean you seriously fucking bombed it out of the water. So don't call here telling me we have to talk, because you can't tell me what to do anymore! I am done!"

"...So hang up."

That caught me off-guard. "What?"

"Hang up. You say you're done? Then hang up."

"You think I won't? I will!"

"Then do it already."

This time the long pause was on my end. Shit. "I...uh, I...uh-"

"That's what I thought. I'll meet you at Capital Grill at 7 sharp."

"What makes you think I'll even show up?"

A soft chuckle on the other end. "I know you. Remember?" And with that he hung up.

Fuck.

I walked back into my room and there Jason was relaxing on my bed.

"So, what was that all about?"

I stopped in the doorway. "What do you mean?"

"Oh please, Matt, I know how loud you can be when you're pissed, and you were getting really pissed at someone over the phone!"

"It was no one. Just someone trying to sell me some stupid vacuum."

"Really? Who would have thought they would try to sell you a vacuum over the phone in this area?"

"Yeah, he he." My laugh was deadpanned. "Who would have thought?"

Jason raised an eyebrow. Even if he wasn't convinced at least he didn't pursue it further. "Okay, well let's raid the kitchen and then we can do something else."

"Oh, you mean you don't want to continue to embarrass me with questions about my relationship? I'm so blessed!" I walked out of the room, followed by Jason, and we entered the kitchen. That's when I saw the note from my mother.

"Shit!"

"What is it?"

I picked up the note. "I forgot my mom wanted to meet for dinner tonight!"

"So? It's not even noon yet."

And then I realized I was on the verge of telling Jason all about my forced "date" with Anthony. I almost fucked myself over. "Yeah you're right. He he, I guess I get crazy about the stupidest things."

Jason gave me the side eye and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what that is."

Ignoring the comment, I pulled out my phone. "Jay, I need to make a quick call. I'll just be a minute, okay?" Jason nodded, and I walked out of the room. I scrolled through the contacts on my phone until I found it. Anthony the Great. Even after all this time, I still haven't changed his contact ID. Tapping on the number, I put the phone up to my ear. My heart was beating furiously, my hands were sweating, and my head began to feel light. That all lasted two rings, because on the third, the line was picked up.

"Matt. What a pleasant surprise."

Fuck, I can't do this. "H-hi Anthony."

"Oh Matt, come now. You can call me Tony. You always did."

"Listen Anthony, this isn't a social call."

"Oh." His voice became cold. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your call then?"

Sighing, I continued. "I forgot to mention that my mother and I are having dinner tonight. When you called me earlier you caught me by surprise and I forgot to mention it."

"I see. Hmm...and this is not a dinner that can wait?"

"I'm sorry Anthony, but I made a commitment to see my mother first. You know how I am with loyalty. It's extremely important to me." I knew the snide comment would get him.

"Really? Well, I am the last person in the world who wants to test that loyalty and value of commitment. Tell you what, I will reschedule. But only for you." I rolled my eyes at that.

"Wonderful." The relief that washed over me was intense. "I am so sorry we couldn't do this tonight."

"We will eventually."

"Thank you for understanding Anthony."

"Before you go, Matt, may I ask a favor of you?"

"Uhhh, sure." Uh-oh.

"Answer your phone calls." The line went dead. Shit, he was mad.

Sighing heavily, I pocketed my phone and went back into the kitchen.

I opened the fridge and gathered some stuff for Jason and myself to eat. He eventually walked back into the kitchen and sat down at the counter. I started frying some bacon and began to get the eggs ready. I glanced over at Jason. "Hey, wanna stop being a freeloader and help me out a bit?"

He glanced up from his cell phone and grinned. "Why, buddy? You're doing such a great job on your own and I would hate to ruin your `groove'."

I had to laugh at that. "Idiot." Before I knew it, he had my arm up behind my back and had me pressed up against the counter.

Whispering in my ear, he said, "I bet you won't say it to my face."

I turned my head towards him and said, "Idiot." I giggled and gave him an Eskimo kiss.

"Arghhh! Gay germs!" With that, he stole a piece of bacon and ran out of the kitchen. I laughed again and continued with the eggs.

Then, out of nowhere, the landline began to ring. "Baron Residence, how may I help you?"

"Oh Matthew, thank goodness you answered." It was my mother. "I'm so glad I didn't have to call you on your cellphone."

"Hello, mother. How is your day going?"

"Well, darling, I just received the most interesting call to my office just now. It was Anthony Van Rossen's mother."

My heart dropped to the bottom of my stomach. "O-oh?"

"Yes, Matthew. She wanted to meet me and catch up on old times. You know, I haven't spoken to her ever since you and her son had that falling out this past spring."

"I can't imagine why, mother. You two have known each other for years now."

"Hmmm. You really don't know why?" I could hear the dripping sarcasm in her voice. "Matthew, whatever happened between you and that boy is your business. I just hope this is not another one of those dinners where I wind up paying someone to stay...quiet. Do you understand me?"

"Wait, a dinner?"

"Yes, Mrs. Van Rossen wants to meet me for dinner at Pied a Terre tonight."

"Tonight? But I thought you and I were going out to dinner tonight?"

"Well darling, I know you were so looking forward to it, but I honestly do want to lose the Van Rossen's again after what happened last spring." My mother was in consulting and worked with the Van Rossen family in their business for years. "I'm sure you will understand."

"Of course mother. In any event, I hope your dinner goes well."

"Thank you Matthew. Do not do anything crazy tonight, please?"

"Yes mother. Goodbye." I hung up.

Well, at least now I have a night to myself. And honestly, I didn't feel like going out to pick up some skank from yet another gay club in the city. A movie and pizza sounded really good.

But before I could get back to my eggs, my cellphone rang. And can you guess who it was?

"Hello Anthony. What can I help you with now?"

"I don't know Matthew. Perhaps you would change your mind and go to dinner with me tonight?"

"I'm sorry Anthony, but I just finished telling you I am going out to dinner with my mother tonight."

"Yes, you did tell me that. The only exception now is that you two are no longer going out tonight, correct?"

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "How do you know that?"

"Well, after we got off the phone earlier I, told my mom how much your mother missed their professional and social relationship, and wanted to invite her out to dinner. I recommended tonight to do so. I knew your mother wouldn't mind rescheduling."

My blood began to race. "Why did you do that?"

"I told you earlier, I need to talk to you."

"You also said you would reschedule!"

"I did, Matt. I rescheduled your dinner date with your mother. See how easy it was?"

Dammit. "Fine, Anthony. ONE dinner tonight, and that is it. I assume it is still Capital Grill at 7?"

"You assume correctly, my Matthew." I rolled my eyes. "And don't roll your eyes."

I smiled. Ah, of course he would know when I roll my eyes. "See you then." I pressed the end call button on my phone and threw it on the counter. Fuck! That asshole! Who the hell does he think he is? Maybe one little dinner with my mother doesn't really matter, but saying it was easy to have her reschedule was just mean.

Dammit!

Eventually, Jason left around 4. We spent most of the day just being lazy and hanging around the apartment. When he left, I talked to the housekeeper and let her know not to worry about preparing a meal for dinner tonight. Once that was taken care of, I walked into my closet to choose an outfit for dinner tonight with Anthony.

On the one hand, I could dress like a slob and show him I really don't care enough about our meeting to take it seriously at all. On the other hand, I could dress as amazing as I possibly could, emphasizing my best physical attributes, wearing luxurious fabrics and beautiful patterns, showing him I have not only moved on and become more sophisticated, but that I have also embraced my sexuality and my ability to drive men and women to a lust-driven madness.

This was hopeless.

Taking a shower I made sure to use my signature pine-scented soap. It was fresh with a hint of spice, and it set off perfectly against my Tom Ford cologne. May hair was a different story, and wasn't so easy to battle.

The color is a nice dark brown; it is wavy with a small curl on the ends, so styling is not difficult. But the thickness of it made it difficult to even brush through it, so I had to make sure to put in a small amount of styling wax to make sure the whole mass doesn't shift to the wrong side.

I decided to put on a pair of charcoal slacks. The cut was simple, and they hugged my butt and legs in just the right way. I threw on a lavender dress shirt with pearl buttons that contrasted nicely with my light skin. Deciding on some dark brown slip-ons, I looked at myself in the mirror. I liked what I saw.

There in the mirror stood a guy with nicely styled dark brown hair that wasn't curly and wasn't straight, but had a unique wave to it and a texture that looked luxurious. His light skin showed he cared about his skin and refused to damage it in the sun's rays. His build was trim and broad-shouldered, and his height made up for him not being ripped. The wide chest gave way to a flat stomach and tight naval. Slim hips rounded into a high, taught butt. Long legs ended with nice-sized feet. Everything looked perfect and beautiful. Everything except the eyes.

These eyes were what I hated most about myself, and that's probably what makes me an eye guy. I have heterochromia. My left eye is a light shade of brown and my right eye is a dark green. Each eye is okay on its own, but together they look stupid. I hate that they make me stand out when I am with friends, or that it's that first thing people notice about me. Yeah, a lot of people I know say it is a nice characteristic that makes me unique. I say fuck that, I would rather have two black eyes.

I took one last glance at myself in the mirror and grabbed my phone. Taking traffic into account it should take me thirty minutes to get to the restaurant. I checked the time and saw it was 6:20. Taking my keys from my nightstand, I pocketed my phone, and left the apartment.

Driving through traffic gave me a chance to think over what I would say when I met Anthony. It has been almost 5 months since I've seen him, and I have no idea what I would talk to him about. We didn't exactly leave things on good terms. Matter of fact, we left things in a terrible state. Rather, I left him and he was in a terrible state.

No, Matt, come on. Don't think about that. This dinner is an opportunity to put everything in the past and finally come to terms with what happened. I was extremely hurt, and I in turn hurt him by leaving, but with this dinner maybe I would have a chance to move on and finally leave our relationship in the past.

I pulled up to Capital Grill, and left my keys with the valet. Walking in I was reminded of the time my father brought us all out to have a celebratory dinner to announce his acquiring a huge client to represent in New York. Having this client meant he would be traveling between Miami and New York, but he said it would give our family an opportunity to grow and thrive. In the end, it was the reason my parents separated.

Oh yeah, happy memories in this place.

The foyer of the building was beautiful; on one side of the room was the bar area stocked to the ceiling with all kinds of liquors and drinks, while on the other side of the room a staff of hosts waited to seat diners. I walked up to one of them. "Hello, I am waiting for Anthony Van Rossen?"

The pretty seating hostess glanced at the monitor in front of her. "Oh yes, he is waiting at the bar. Would you like to join him?"

The bar was right behind me, and turning around would mean I would have to look for him. "Oh, no I can just wait here until the table is ready." The seating hostess nodded and gave me a small smile. I stayed standing by the counter, glancing at all the people waiting for their tables or seats at the bar. I kept looking at my phone nervously, waiting and praying anxiously that someone would send me a text or at least post on my wall.

Nothing. Apparently, everyone was too busy on a Saturday night to even go on Facebook or take a quick stroll through their contacts. I made a mental note to punish everyone listed in my phone for not texting me at that precise moment. I then saw the hostess I spoke to walk to the bar. I didn't dare turn around to look at who she was speaking to, but I had a pretty good idea.

I heard several footsteps come up behind me, and that's when it hit me.

That cologne. It was subtle mix of sandalwood and honey. Only one person I know uses that scent. And I would know that scent anywhere, since it was all that flooded my nostrils the first time I had sex.

"Matthew, you came."

Well, there you have it guys! My first story and its first chapter! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I hope it piqued your curiosity and interest to continue to read on. Chapter 2 will be out later this week, I can't wait for you guys to read it!

On a more serious note, I hope my grammar and spelling didn't offend anyone. In case you couldn't tell, I do not have an editor (I don't pretend to be good enough at this story-telling to think I deserve one). However, I do not let pride get in the way of good work, and I am wondering if there is anyone willing to lend a helping hand here. You may of course reach me at my email as listed above, Leo.stefano.1990@gmail.com

Thank you again so much guys! Hope you enjoy this series!
