Magical Friends 13

The following article is a work of pure fiction and silliness. Any resemblance to real people or fictional characters is a happy accident. Any similarity between these made-up kids and their actions, and the wonderful characters created by J. K. Rowling is simply another coincidence. No implication as to the sexuality of any fictional characters, or actors who portray those characters, is intended.

Magical Friends

Part Two

Chapter 13

In the Dark

Draco waited patiently in the corner of the pub, concealed by the deep shadows, and confident that no-one would be joining him at his tiny table. He knew it was only a matter of time before Harry Potter and his friends would be there, and for the first time in his life, he was nervous about the encounter. In the past, Malfoy would have had some evil plot up his sleeve, and would not have hesitated to bring plenty of grief to Harry. Now, however, his feelings were entirely different, and he scarcely knew how to handle his emotions.

His pulse quickened and his breathing became somewhat shallow as he saw the boys enter the Pub. He watched as they greeted Hermione and her friends, and then found their way to Hagrid's table. His eyes widened as he watched Hagrid scoop Harry right up off the floor and plop him on his lap like a two-year-old. After Harry shifted his weight and Hagrid said something to him, Harry grinned and wiggled his butt around on Hagrid's lap. He was astonished to see the swelling in Harry's crotch increase in size, and as he looked around the room, realized that nobody noticed Harry's partial erection; not even the other boys at the same table. Draco sat quietly and observed as the boys drank their Butterbeer, and talked excitedly about the upcoming holiday. He waited until the conversation slowed, then stared fixedly at Harry's eyes, waiting for them to connect.

First Contact

Only Harry saw. Draco's eyes were glowing at him from the darkest corner of the room. As he held his gaze, Draco made the slightest beckoning motion with his hand, and silently mouthed the words, "come here." When their eyes were locked, Harry's half-hearted erection immediately sprang to full hardness, quite beyond his control. Draco could see it, from where he was, and had a similar reaction. His heart was starting to pound in his ears.

Harry hopped down from Hagrid's lap, and said to his friends, " 'scuse me a bit; I want to mix." The kids thought nothing of it, and went on with their summer plans. Harry stopped and greeted a few friends, supporting the idea he was "mixing," all the while working his way closer to Draco. As he approached Draco's table, he summoned all his courage, not knowing what to expect. He sat, staring down awkwardly at the table-top. Draco looked past Harry, around the room, but unseeing. Simultaneously, they looked each other right in the eye. "I . . ." they both tried to speak but the words wouldn't come. Behind the table, in the dark, Draco tentatively reached out a hand toward Harry. Harry, having trouble with his breathing, reached out and took the hand. They gently squeezed each other. They looked from their hands, back into each other's eyes.

"Oh, Draco," Harry managed. "I don't know what to say."

"Then don't say it," said Draco quietly; "Not yet; wait 'til you do know."

"Can we meet? Alone?"

"Yes. Tonight. Somewhere private."

I know just the place," said Harry. "Meet me on the third floor, by the trophy cases."

"Go now, before they notice," said Draco.

Harry squeezed Draco's hand and walked away, trying to look nonchalant.

In a Trysting Place

Later, in the Dormitory, Neville was wanking up a storm, Ron was doing his discreet thing, planning on doing it twice so as to avert the possibility of a wet dream, and Harry was lying on his back, still fully clothed, clutching his Invisibility Cloak and waiting for everyone else to fall asleep. Finally the boys drifted away, and Harry drew out his Maurader's Map and said to it "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." The map obediently came to life, showing the school's occupants whereabouts. So far, no Malfoy. Snape was in his dungeon, no doubt plotting the next year's in-class torture routines. Filch - oh no; Filch was wandering around the third floor. That would throw a wrench into their plans. Mrs. Norris was there with him. Suddenly there was a flurry of activity on the second floor. Several teachers seemed to gather in one place, outside one of the bathrooms. Filch and Mrs. Norris were seen joining them almost immediately. Harry guessed Peeves the Poltergeist had caused some sort of mayhem, which would conveniently keep Filch occupied for some time. "Thanks, Peeves," he whispered.

A few minutes later, a new set of footprints appeared outside the Slytherin's common room. Draco Malfoy! Harry's heart pounded as he saw Malfoy's path take him toward his wing of the building. Harry closed the map, put on his Invisibility Cloak, and went up to the near end of the third floor. He watched as Malfoy arrived and stood by the trophy cases. Harry went around the corner and hid the cloak behind a suit of armor, and walked confidently up to Draco, holding a finger to his lips as if to signal for silence. Then he walked past him and paced back and forth in front of the wall, apparently in deep concentration. Draco, puzzled at Harry's actions, was about to question him, when an ornate door appeared in the otherwise blank stone wall.

They entered the Room of Requirement. Draco had been unaware of its existence, and was astonished to see a quiet elegant setting; a combination sitting room and bedroom. Gentle classical music was playing in the background. An elegant four-poster bed was centered against one wall, with elaborate drapes gathered back at the posts. The highly polished walnut-coloured hardwood floor was strewn with elegant throw-rugs; each one different. The walls were finished in bamboo, and the dark brown ceiling featured three exotic rotating fans, also dark colored and barely visible. There was a luxurious walk-in bathroom in one corner. Its partitions were cleverly designed, obviating the need for doors. The floor and walls of the bathroom were finished in elegant randomly-cut slate tiles, with jade and malachite for trim; and the lighting was recessed and unobtrusive. Floor-length mirrors on two of the walls made the bathroom seem much larger than it actually was. A boudoir fireplace was in the opposite corner of the bedroom, its fire throwing sufficient warmth so that the occupants of the room would be comfortable even if they had nothing on. Flower arrangements sat upon the elegant side-tables, and a discreet wet bar was featured near the fireplace.

Draco was clearly overwhelmed. He looked at Harry and said "Harry . . ."

Harry smiled gently, took Draco by the hand and said "Don't say it. Not yet."

The boys held each other by both hands and gazed deeply into one another's eyes. Slowly, carefully, they melted into each other's arms.

We shall give these two special young men privacy during their first encounter, as they spend their first evening together in intimacy.
