Meeting Love Chapter 5
I started my morning routine, showering etc. I spent a little extra time in the shower. I wanted to get a little of the edge off. If anything happened tonight, I didn't want to come early. I wanted to spend as much time as possible bringing us together.
I started the dough for the bread sticks and left it to rise. I then headed off to work.
Meanwhile at the hotel. . .
Lance was lying in bed, thinking how sweet HR was to wake him up the way that he did, when he heard a knock on the door and then someone keying into the room. It had to be Joey; he was the only one who had a key to Lance's room.
"Hey Scoop," Joey said. "Did I wake you?" He walked over to the bed and sat down.
"Nope, was already awake. Just don't feel like getting out of bed."
"Ooh, late night with Heath? Did you guys get busy?"
Lance shoved Joey off the bed with his feet. "Yes, I was over there late. And no, we did not get busy, not that its any of your business." Joey got back up and climbed into bed with Lance.
"Every thing you do is my business. That's what best friends are for." Joey said as he pulled Lance into a really tight hug.
"Yeah, yeah. Can you let me go, so that I can breathe?"
"Breathing is overrated. Joey hugs are more important." Joey said hugging Lance even tighter, before he let go.
Lance got up out of bed. "I'm gonna shower. What's the plan for breakfast?"
"You're asking me for the plan? Our walking schedule doesn't know?"
"I'm not awake yet."
"Riight. We're meeting in the executive board room. It's a breakfast meeting with the five of us and Alex to go over the next few days. I already was down there, and met one of the waitresses. She is really cute."
"Shocking, did you get her number already?" Lance said walking into the bathroom.
"No," Joey shouted across the room. "I was hoping you could get some background info on her from HR."
"Sure, sure, now can you leave so I can shower in peace?"
"Yeah right, you just want to jack off because you didn't get any last night."
Although what Joey said was totally correct, Lance didn't want to say so. So he kept his mouth shut. Joey did eventually leave, and Lance was able to enjoy his shower. He shampooed and conditioned his hair. Then he took his favorite shower gel started washing himself. He got to his right nipple, the more sensitive of the two and twisted it. That always shot desire straight to his cock. He was starting to get hard. He trailed his hand down his chest and flat stomach, finally reaching the trimmed hair there. He decided to skip the cock for now and fondled his balls first. One then the other. He imagined what it would be like if instead of his hand it was Heath's or even Heath's mouth. That thought made his cock grow to its full nine inches. He started stroking it, concentrating mostly on rubbing the head with the pad of his thumb. He could feel the thick vein protruding along the underside, knowing that if he only rubbed along the vein he would come in seconds. Lance knew that he didn't have much time, so although he wanted to continue, he rubbed the vein and started shooting against the shower wall. It wasn't the best orgasm he had, but it served its purpose.
He washed off again, and got out of the shower. He got dressed, and blow-dried his hair. He chose not to spike it, because he knew how much HR enjoyed running his hands through it and playing with the longish strands up top. Lance then headed down to the boardroom for breakfast. He looked around the room; surprisingly he was the last one there. It was . 'I guess I was in the shower a lot longer than I thought.'
"Ok, now that everyone is here we can start the meeting," said Alex the tour manager. "As you all know, you guys have practice today, but tonight is free.'
"Actually," interjected Lance. "Joey, JC, Justin, Chris and I have dinner plans."
"We do?" Asked Justin.
"Yeah, I just haven't had a chance to tell you yet."
"Is this something that we are going to need security for Lance? Because that would be important to know," said Alex.
"Just to get back and forth. Plus I'm gonna need someone to get a couple hostess gifts."
"Hostess gifts? Oh, I get it. We're going to HR's. But why a couple?" Asked Joey.
"Because he is having his parents, brother and sister-in-law and their family. I want to get some wine for the adults and I want a set of signed cd's for each of the kids. Especially Madison, she has the cutest crush on me."
"How many are there?" Asked Chris. Of the group he had the least interest in what had been happening between Lance and Heath.
"Five, if I remember correctly," said JC. "A set of triplets and a set of twins. Mostly girls. Are you sure we aren't going to need security?" JC joked.
"No, they were all totally cool last night. I met them all last night. They were confused at first because HR introduced me as Jamie."
"Aww, he calls you Jamie? You don't even like it when we call you Jamie. You've always said that was a nickname for your family." Joey said.
"I really hope that he will become part of my family."
"Are you saying what I think you are saying?" JC got up and went around the table to Lance. He then hugged him from behind.
"Yeah, I am going to ask HeathRiley to marry me."
Justin and Joey both jumped up with happiness, and ran over to Lance. They were congratulating him. Chris just sat there dumbfounded. He had no idea what was going on, but figured what the hell, might as well join in the fun.
"Ok, guys. Can we save the celebrating for later?" Alex started. "We need to finish up here, and get over to the Garden for practice."
They finished their meeting and did everything they were supposed to perfectly in practice. The first time ever. Everyone knew how important it was for Lance to get out on time so that he could run his errands. During one of their breaks, Joey had called HR at work.
"Thank you for calling reservations, this is HeathRiley, how can I help you?" I said, giving my normal speech when answering the phone.
"Hi HR, this is Joey. Joey Fatone."
"Oh, hey. What's up?" I asked.
"I heard that we are coming to your house for dinner tonight. We're all totally stoked."
"I'm glad you guys are going to make it. It should be fun with everyone there. I can't wait to get to know the rest of you."
"We feel the same way about you, and your family. Speaking of which, I know that Lance is Madison's favorite, but do any of the others have a fav?"
"Actually they all do, surprisingly there is one 'Nsync member for each of my nieces and nephew."
"That's perfect, we can each do something special, and no one will feel left out."
"You don't have to do that."
"Of course we do."
"Ok, fine. So it goes like this, Kayla loves JC. Ben thinks that Chris is the coolest and wants to grow a goatee just like his. Stephanie is hot for you. Jessica likes Justin and you know Maddy likes Lance."
"Cool. I've got that down. We'll see you later. And don't worry if Lance doesn't have a chance to get in touch with you before tonight. He's working really hard so that we are free and clear tonight. Speaking of which, what time should we be there?"
"Six fifteen would be great."
"Sweet, see you then."
"Yeah." I hung up the phone. That is so nice of the guys to not only not be afraid of meeting my crazy family, but to go and do something special for each one of my nieces and nephew.
I couldn't wait to get home that night. I was so excited. I had no idea what was going to happen, but I knew that things would be great. Every thing was working out so well for James and I. I was out the door the minute work was over. I raced home, threw a load of laundry in (might as well multi-task) and started the dough for the pasta. I called my mother to come down with the sauce. She was in my apartment only seconds later.
"Harvey isn't home from work yet," she said, referring to my father. "But he knows to come right here." She put the huge pot of meat sauce on the stove and turned on the burner.
"That's fine. We have 45 minutes before the guys will be here. Do you know if Craig and Aimee are coming down? I know the kids are."
"They'll be here. We are all so excited for you. The little ones said that this guy is hopelessly in love with you."
"Mom, they are not little anymore. You have to realize that they are growing up. And yeah, James and I are in love. Did they tell you who he really is?"
"Yeah, they told me he is a member of that pop band that's doing their reunion tour. And that he has two names, just like you."
"Not exactly. His name is James Lance Bass. His family calls him James, and that is how he originally introduced himself to me. But for the most part he goes by Lance. That is what he would prefer to be called. Unlike the insane name you gave me,"
"It is not insane. Each name meant something to your father and I, and we couldn't decide which to choose."
"Whatever." I continued working on getting dinner together. I finished the pasta dough and set it aside. I made the bread sticks and put them in the oven to bake. My mom made a giant salad and I worked on my Caesar vinaigrette dressing. We still had plenty of time.
"Are you serving your tiramisu for dessert?" Francesca asked.
"No, we had some of that last night. I was thinking of cannolies and some peach gelato. I have made a batch of shells and gelato last week. I'll just whip up a ricotta filling. How does that sound?"
"Delicious as always. Now are you going to make some chocolate ones too?"
"Of course Mom. I'm not stupid; Dad won't eat any other kind. And I'll make some cherry ones too."
"You are the best."
"Thanks Ma." You would think that with all the Italian food I could cook that my family was Italian. Actually my heritage is Eastern European. It's just that my favorite chef instructor was Italian, and he gave extra classes on Sundays that I took the entire time I was at school. I love Italian cuisine.
In no time everything was all set. Kayla and Ben had come downstairs to help open up and set the table. With the all the table leaves in I can sit twenty people comfortably, twenty-four if you push it. And tonight we were fifteen, so there was plenty of space. It was almost 6:15 and I had everything ready. The kids were in the den fighting over what type of music to play. The fireplace was lit and so were the scented candles on the table.
When my brother walked in, he came right over and gave me a hug. "I am so happy for you. It's about time that you finally found someone."
"Thanks. I really hope this is going to work out. I love him so much. It is so different from Mike."
"I know, I can see it in your face. I love you bro. I only wish you the happiness that I have. Speaking of which, I'm gonna use your phone to call Aimee down here."
"No prob. I'm just gonna start the pasta. The guys should be here any minute."
In the 'Nsync van. . .
"I am so nervous."
"Why are you nervous Justin? What do you have to be nervous about? I'm the one that should be nervous, but I'm not." Lance turned around in his seat to look at his friend.
"It's not just dinner at a friend's house. We are meeting your future family. I just want to make a good impression. I don't want anything we do to reflect negatively on you."
Lance reached over the seat and gave Justin a hug. "That is so sweet of you. But don't worry. We'll knock all their socks off tonight. They will love each and every one of us."
"Are you going to give HR the ring tonight?" JC asked.
Lance took the ring box out of his pocket and opened it. He looked at the ring that he had chosen. It was one of his favorite designs. It had three rolling bands of gold, (white, gold and rose. 'I just hope this isn't too soon.' He took the ring out of the box and rolled it between his fingers. He enjoyed hearing the faint clicking of the bands hitting each other.
"I want to. But I'm going to wait until everyone else is gone and see if he is receptive."
"Ok, we are here," their driver said. "Just call when you need a pickup."
The guys all got out of the van, except for Lance. Joey looked back, and stuck out his hand.
"It'll be perfect. No worries. You love him, he loves you."
"I know. Let's go." Lance hopped out of the van and walked with his best friend up the stairs to the porch and rang the doorbell.
To be continued . . .
