Millennium Love Scott 13 & 14

Millennium Love Scott 13 & 14

Author's Notes: Remember email is ALWAYS welcome!

As usual: All the text in BLACK is common, but the text in BLUE is unique to that character's story. So for those that only want to read what's different between the characters, now you can.

IMPORTANT Part 14 is almost entirely different for each character, so if you haven't been reading the different perspectives, you may want to this time!

Also...I never claimed to be a song writer so please don't laugh at the song I wrote :-)

As Before: This story is a little different. For each section, you have a choice to read the story from the view point of one of the two main characters: the fictional Scott Waters or Brian Littrell. BUT: If you read the story from both view points you'll get the entire story, particularly when the characters are not together.

I apologize if I seem to be in a bit of a time warp, but the idea for the story came to me and it fit the time line (hence the story's name Millennium Love). The story starts in October 1998 and runs up to the new millennium. Also, if some events don't coincide with real events remember, it's only fiction!

Legalities: This story is fictitious. It is not meant to imply anything about any of the Backstreet Boys or anyone else. No, I am not Brian Littrell, or Scott Waters. If you're offended, go away. If you're curious, keep reading, you might like it ;-)

Once again, PLEASE let me know what you think at kenitra_canada@hotmail.com

Thanks for reading.

Millennium Love Parts 13 & 14 - Scott

(Last time...)

Brian worked all the way up to my ear. "So, did *I* give *you* pleasure, my angel?" he whispered.

I rolled my head to look at my love. I smiled broadly. "I love you Brian," I said, no longer trying to deny what I felt for this remarkable man.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you too, Scott," he said softly.

We each held the other part of our soul as we drifted into slumber.

Part 13

Morning arrived too soon. I woke up slowly, not quite ready to open my eyes. I listened to the quiet; enjoying the sound of the steady breathing coming from the man beside me. I turned my head, opening my eyes to find Brian sleeping on his side, his back to me. I slowly rolled over and curled up behind him, wrapping my arm around him and resting my head in the hollow of his shoulder. Slowly I began to move my hand in a circular motion on Brian's chest. I started nibbling his ear. Brian stirred but didn't wake. My hand began to slide down his body. Finding my target, my fingers curled around his growing morning erection.

"Mmm, I could get used to that," he said softly with a laugh. Brian turned his head until our lips met in a tender kiss. "Morning angel," he whispered.

"Morning my love," I whispered back.

"How'd you sleep last night?" he asked with a grin, remembering our bedtime activities.

I kissed him again. "Better than I ever have before. Thank you," I added with another kiss.

Nature was calling and I reluctantly got out of the cozy bed. I returned quickly and crawled back under the blanket Brian must have covered us with. Brian took his trip to the bathroom then joined me back in bed cuddling up to me with his arms tightly around my body.

I hated to do it, but reality was calling. "Love, what time are you flying out today?"

He sighed and I hugged him tighter. "We're leaving at three, heading back to Orlando for some meetings about the current tour and final details about the new album. We still have some final touches to put in the new CD. Then we head off to Europe for a few weeks. When Millennium comes out, we'll come back and start rehearsals and preparations for another six months of touring, at least." As Brian was telling me what was going to be going on, his voice became softer and softer. The reality was sinking in. When would we ever get to see each other?

All I could do was continue to hold him close. "Brian, baby, listen to me. I know, no, we know its not going to be easy. But I've got an idea I've been working on that may make it possible for me to visit you more often. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to give us a chance. Are you?"

He rolled over. "Angel, I love you. Whatever it takes."

We lazed around in bed for another hour, talking, still getting to know each other. I'm not sure if it was Brian's or my stomach that growled first.

Brian rolled out of bed, leaning back to kiss me. "Stay here where it's warm angel. I'll sacrifice my body to go out to the *cold* kitchen and make breakfast." Such a subtle way of telling me it was time to turn the furnace on.

"Love, that's a huge sacrifice you're making. I promise that if you don't come back, because you turned into a popsicle, that I'll tell everyone what a selfless thing you did for me."

Brian stuck out his tongue before reaching into his overnight bag for some track pants.

I closed my eyes, smiling to myself as I listened to him open cupboard doors trying to find whatever he was looking for. I thought about what I'd said to him. I did have an idea. I'd been offered a new job with a company that created web sites for businesses and individuals. The work allowed me to set my own hours, work primarily from home (or anywhere else) as long as I met with the client when needed. The creating of sites had been my first passion, before becoming an administrator.

I got out of bed and grabbed my laptop from my desk. Once on-line, I went to a free email service and created two new accounts, runningman@can.ca and savingangel@can.ca. I laughed at the names I used. No one would ever guess. Brian and I could email each other whenever, from wherever without risking my company or his bandmates reading it.

I could hear sounds coming from the kitchen. I had time so I did a search looking for Backstreet Boys sites and Brian Littrell sites. I found the official BSB sites and hundreds of fan sites. A new idea occurred to me. Kevin appeared to be the main businessman in the band. Not that the others couldn't do it, but they just preferred Kevin taking care of things. I'd have to run this newest idea past him before I got Brian's hopes up. I logged off and closed the screen just as Brian walked into the room carrying a tray load of food.

"Wow, I had no idea you could cook!"

He grinned, "there's a lot about me you have yet to learn!"

"Mmm, something to look forward to," I said as he set the tray down on the bed. "You know, this breakfast in bed thing is becoming quite the habit with us."

"Hey, are you complaining?" He laughed.

"Not a chance." I replied as I accepted the tea he'd made. The food smelled wonderful. Somehow, he'd whipped up French toast, with syrup, bacon, scrambled eggs and juice. I wasn't even sure where he found all that in my fridge.

We sat, ate and talked until almost eleven, when Brian's cell phone rang. He reached into his overnight and answered it.

"Hello Kevin." Brian listened as Kevin spoke. "Thanks Kevin, I'd appreciate that. I owe you one. See you at the airport." He closed the phone and looked at me. "How long does it take to get to Pearson Airport from here?"

I thought for a minute. It was a holiday Monday so everyone would be heading back to the city after the long weekend. "Well, to play it safe, I'd say about two hours. Why?"

"Kevin said he'd pack my room for me so I can meet them at the airport." He sighed. "Which means I have to leave by twelve thirty to get there by two thirty." I could see tears forming. "Its not enough time, Scott," he said sadly.

"I know." I stroked his shoulder. "Why don't we shower and get dressed? Then I'll show you my idea for keeping in touch. Okay?"

"Okay," he said with a smile. "Want to wash my back?"

Grinning, I crawled off the bed, pulling Brian towards the bathroom. I had no clothes on, having kicked off my socks during the night. Brian quickly stripped out of his track pants and boxers.

Brian turned the water on while I pulled out two huge bath towels. Once under the spraying water, I took the shampoo and squeezed some into my hand. I washed Brian's hair, entranced by the silky feel and golden color. Then I moved onto his body. Using soap and a cloth, I gently washed every inch of him, intrigued by the texture of his skin, the freckles I found here and there, and the light hair covering his legs. I was careful to avoid spending too much time around his groin, although I could tell that just my touch was arousing him. I gently pushed him back under the falling water to rinse off, then we switched positions.

Instead of using a cloth, Brian took the soap in his hand and began lathering me. He leaned forward to whisper, "I want to remember every inch of you until next time." I smiled and closed my eyes, simply letting myself enjoy his touch.

Once finished, I reluctantly turned the water off. We wrapped ourselves in the towels and walked back to the bedroom. We had taken half an hour showering, leaving us only one hour. Instead of getting dressed immediately, I walked over to my desk and the laptop.

"Come here love," I said, pulling Brian onto my lap. "Do you have a laptop?"

"Yeah. I don't use it much, basically just to send email home when we're on the road."

"Perfect." I explained about the free email accounts I'd set up. He laughed at the names I'd chosen. I wrote down his user name and password as well as the address to access the email. I added my new email address too.

"Have you ever used ICQ?"

Brian shook his head. "I think Kevin uses it though."

I wrote down my ICQ address on the paper. "Get Kevin to show you how to set this up on your computer. Then we can talk in real time over the Internet."

"Cool!"

I made sure I had his cell number and gave Brian mine. "I'll carry my cell with me now, so I won't miss your calls, okay?"

Brian turned to look at me. "Scott, I would like you to come to Lexington for our Thanksgiving in November. I want you to meet my family." I was pleased and surprised that he'd asked. "Will you come?" Nodding, I pulled him to me for a kiss.

It could only be a brief kiss, as we still had to get dressed - and say goodbye. Brian reluctantly went to his overnight bag and pulled out the last clothes, a pair of black jeans and a black sweatshirt. Starting with some black boxers, Brian slowly got dressed. All I could do was watch, and admire God's creation.

"Scott."

"Scott!" Brian said a second time and I snapped out of my daze, blushing.

"Sorry love, I was just watching god's handiwork."

Brian grinned and walked back over to me. I was still sitting at the desk in a towel.

"I've been thinking about something," he said looking at me intently. "I'm being unfair to you."

My heart caught in my throat. "What do you mean?" I asked suddenly afraid that he didn't even want to try a long distance relationship.

"Well, I've got the guys who know about me and about us. So, if I need to talk to them I can. But you don't have anyone like that," he paused. "What I'm trying to say is that if you think your friend Drew will keep our secret, I don't mind if you tell him. I know what it's like not having anyone to talk to about your life. I don't want to put you through that."

I pulled him into a tight hug. "When you said `I'm being unfair', I thought you were going to break up with me," I whispered.

Brian pulled back and took my face in his hands. "Don't ever say that. I've been looking for you my entire life. Now that I've found you, I'm not letting go without a fight. Understand?" I nodded. "I love you Scott. I don't care how crazy people say we are. I don't care that I've only known you for four days. As you said before, our hearts have known each other forever." Having said that, Brian leaned forward and kissed me passionately.

When we finally separated, we were both flushed and out of breath. I decided I'd better get dressed before one thing led to another and Brian missed his plane. I pulled on some ripped blue jeans and an old university sweatshirt. The shirt was almost falling apart, but it was comfortable and I couldn't quite throw it out. Brian packed up his stuff and wandered out to the living room.

I looked at the clock. It was time for Brian to leave. I took a couple of deep breaths to calm the knots that were forming in my gut. I didn't want to cry as he was leaving. I forced a smile and walked into the room. Brian was looking at a photo album on the coffee table.

He looked up as I walked in. "Scott, can I have this?" he asked indicating a picture of me in the album. It had been taken during the summer out on my deck.

I smiled and took it out. "Of course love." A thought crossed my mind. "But whatever will I do without a picture of you?" I asked innocently. Brian laughed and hugged me.

"I'll mail you a *real* picture of me, not one that a few million people have seen, I promise." He finally stood up and put his jacket on. Turning to me he said, "Scott, I love you." I could see tears starting to form.

I smiled weakly, "I love you too, Brian." I kissed him tenderly, then turned him towards the door.

He walked out the door and to his car. Before getting in, he looked up at me on the stairs. "Miss you, Angel," he said, only loud enough for me to hear.

"Miss you too, love," I said back to him as he got into the car. He gave a little wave and pulled out. I stood on the steps until I couldn't see his car anymore.

Part 14

I stood on the steps until I couldn't see his car anymore. Finally, I walked back into the house. I had no idea what to do with myself. How had four days changed things so much? I tried to remember what I did before I'd met Brian; I couldn't. I decided to do some work and look further into that job offer. I turned on my PC in the living room. I hadn't said anything to Brian, but once I switched jobs, I would tell him.

I checked my old email and found some jokes that Drew had forwarded to me. I thought about what Brian had said. I knew Drew could be trusted, but I didn't know if he'd believe me or not. I could really use someone to talk to though. I picked up the phone and dialed Drew's number.

"Hello."

"Hey, Drew. Its Scott." I took the cordless into the kitchen to make myself some tea.

"Hi Scott, what's up?"

"Are you busy later today? I was wondering if you wanted to come for dinner. We could order in some Chinese food or something." My voice began to waiver as I realized that Brian was probably at the airport by now. "I could really use a friend to talk to, Drew."

"Sure Scotty. Why don't I pick up some food on the way? I'll be there by five, okay?"

"Thanks, Drew. I'll see you then." I hung up the phone. Now all I had to do was wait. I needed to keep busy so I began cleaning up the house even though I was already something of a neat freak. When I reached the bedroom, I looked at the bed. I couldn't stop myself from walking over and lying down, right where Brian had slept. I closed my eyes and remembered everything that had happened between us. I was still having trouble believing it.

I don't know how long I was asleep before the phone rang. I reached over and grabbed the one beside the bed.

"Hello," I said groggily, still half asleep.

"Tell me, does a cell phone still ring when no one is around?" a sexy southern drawl asked.

I woke up instantly. "Brian!"

"Hi Angel," he said softly. "Just sitting here on the plane, bored to death, and wanted to hear your voice."

"I was just reliving some good memories. How are the guys?"

"Sleeping!" he said with a laugh. "I'm totally rested and they're all wiped out from clubbing last night, even Kevin. He left me with some work to do because he's too hung over. Quite a rarity." He paused. "By the way, I sent you some email. All I'll say is that it's a song. So, let me know what you think." I could hear him cover the phone as he talked to someone on the plane. "I have to go now. We can't use cell phones while the plane is landing. We have a dinner meeting tonight, but I'll call later. Miss you angel."

"Miss you too." I said as he hung up the phone. I immediately got up and went to my laptop. He'd sent me an email already. I logged on and clicked for `New Mail'.

My Angel,

>From the moment I looked into the face of my `savingangel' I somehow knew that I'd come home. Where you are is where I left my heart. Since our first kiss, I've had words floating around in my head. Finally, these words began to come together into a format I understand, a song. I'm working on the music to go with it, and hope to perform it someday. But I wanted you to be the first to read it, to know exactly how I feel. I hope you like it.

Love B. (runningman)

My Angel, My Heart

(Chorus)
The heart will always know
What I may not show
An angel oh from above
My angel, my heart, my love

Wherever my angel lives
My heart will always be
Whatever my angel gives
Only my heart ever will see

(Chorus)

A promise to my heart
Angel oh please believe
I'd die if we ever part
And I'll never, ever deceive

(Chorus)

Angel when I'm lost in night
You keep the dark at bay
My heart, you are the light
Oh please, show me the way

(Chorus)

Only my angel understands
My heart cries out - set me free
Unseen lies bind my hands
Too high the price of being me

My heart has always known
My heart has always known
My heart has always known
My angel, my heart, my love

By then end of the chorus, the tears were streaming down my face. He'd written a song for me. I managed to read the entire song, crying the entire time. It was beautiful. I didn't want to risk losing it, so I took the laptop out to my printer and printed out the entire message. That way I could read it whenever I wanted. I was still wiping the tears when Drew walked in the unlocked front door.

"Scott, are you okay?" he asked, his concern clear in his voice.

All I could do was nod and smile weakly at him. I had to pull myself together. I wasn't ready to share the song with Drew so I folded the printout and put it in my pocket.

Drew gave me some privacy and went to the kitchen for plates for the Chinese food he'd brought. I went and sat on the couch. I took a few deep breaths and had calmed down when he came back.

"Thanks Drew," I said softly.

"For what?" he asked as he set the plates down and began unpacking the food.

"For being such a good friend. For putting up with me." I grinned.

"Well, that is quite a chore," he said, grinning back. "Dig in."

I realized that I hadn't eaten since Brian cooked breakfast in the morning, and I was starved. I filled my plate with some of everything. Drew brought enough food to feed six. I sat back and began to eat. I could feel Drew glancing over at me.

"Brian Littrell," I said finally.

Drew looked at me. "What about that Backstreet babe?" he asked.

I just kept looking at him, trying to prevent a silly smirk from my face. I saw Drew's eyes widen in comprehension. I laughed.

"You and him... Brian Thomas Littrell...you met him..." Drew was stuttering.

I elicited a promise of secrecy before I finally gave in and told Drew the entire story, from how Brian and I met, to the weekend together, and the email.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you on Saturday, but I'd promised Kevin and the others that I wouldn't tell anyone. It was Brian, this morning, who said he wouldn't mind if I told you."

Drew sat staring into space for a minute, before asking a *Drew* question. "I don't suppose any of the others are..."

I knew he was asking about A.J. "Sorry, Drew I have the only one."

He sighed, "Oh well, one can always hope."

We spent the rest of the evening talking about old times and new. I couldn't help but talk about Brian and how much I loved him. Drew smiled and listened, realizing I was hooked. When he finally left, I promised to call him during the week and we'd try to have lunch.

It was after midnight when I finally went to bed. Brian hadn't called but I knew he'd probably been very busy. I had just turned out the light when the phone rang. I quickly picked up the receiver. "Hello."

"Hello, Angel," that silky voice said softly.

"Brian love," I sighed so happy he'd called. "I miss you. God I wish I could see you to show you how much that song means to me. It's so incredible, like you. Thank you." I told him, trying not to cry, I was so unbelievably touched by what he'd done.

"Some day I'll sing it to you, I promise." he told me.

We talked only briefly because Brian kept dozing off.

I smiled to myself. "Brian," I said quietly.

"Hmmm."

"Brian, my heart, hang up the phone and go to sleep. I'll talk to you tomorrow or whenever you want to call me, okay." I told him.

Brian agreed. "I love you Scott. I can't wait till Thanksgiving when we can be together again. Miss you."

"Love and miss you too, love," I said and hung up the phone. I hugged myself wishing he were here. I kept a mental imagine of his face in my mind until I finally fell asleep.

We fell into a pattern. Brian would call every night and I would send emails to him during the day. It wasn't the same as being together, but we really began to find out everything about each other. We agreed that any and all questions asked would be answered. I became busy as I wrapped up training the new site Administrator and establishing a new client base for my new job.

Brian didn't like the ICQ system, but Kevin and I began talking and I mentioned to him my idea about personal web sites for each of them. He liked the idea, so we kept talking.

The band had done a short four-week tour in Europe. Before I knew it, it was November 25, the day before the American Thanksgiving. Although I had protested, Brian insisted on booking and paying for my flight to Kentucky. All I had to do was show up at the airport on time and get on my flight. Drew had agreed to drive me.
