Well, now that they are on tour, I have to say this...I don't know anything about the real tour schedule, so I made it all up! I've never been to Europe so please go easy on me if I make factual errors!
I want to apologize for the short length and the quality of this chapter. I knew what I wanted to say, but it just wouldn't come out right!
The next chapter will be better!

Too soon, Brian and the others had to leave for the concert. I decided to stay at the hotel and do some more work so that when Brian was back, I could focus on him.
I was dozing on the bed trying to watch TV when I heard the door open. I really didn't want to wake up completely so I didn't move. I heard Brian go into the bathroom and a few minutes later felt the bed move as he crawled in beside me. Ever so lightly, he kissed my cheek.
"Love you," I murmured.
Brian kissed me again. "Love you too, Angel," he whispered. "The guys said to go ahead with your plan," he added softly.
I smiled to myself before drifting to sleep as I thought about what we had in store for Nick.
Chapter 28
The next morning I began to implement my birthday plan. The more I thought about it, the more I knew it was going to be a riot. Brian simply sat back and watched me in action. I called a number of local papers and told them what I wanted to do. They quickly agreed to print my notice in the papers the next day. All we would have to do is keep Nick from looking at the papers, which wouldn't be hard because he seldom read the local news.
I decided I would talk to the crew in charge of the cameras and video equipment that afternoon when the singers went to their short rehearsal.
After talking to the papers, Brian and I went down the hall to Kevin and AJ's room for breakfast. A quick wink or nod at each of them told them the plan was in action. Fortunately, Nick was oblivious. We were finding it difficult to keep straight faces, knowing what was going to happen. And I had another part of the plan that I hadn't even mentioned to Brian.
None of the guys said anything to Nick about his birthday. I could see him look at each of them occasionally, wondering if they had forgotten. I knew 19 was a big one for him, but he also didn't want to seem childish and remind them of the date.
Before we left for the stadium in the afternoon, I checked my email and found that Nick's mom had sent me the pictures I'd asked for. I transferred them to a disk and put it in my pocket to take to the stadium.
While the singers were on stage making sure everything was working, I wandered around and found the video technician. I explained the plan and he was more than happy to help out.
I laughed to myself when I realized that everyone on the crew was going to know what was happening except Nick.
The concert went flawlessly and we all returned to the hotel on an adrenaline rush. After relaxing for a while in Kevin and AJ's room, Brian and I said goodnight and went down the hall to our room.
I walked through the door and Brian slammed it behind me. He grabbed me and gently pushed me against the closed door. Immediately his lips found mine. We tongue wrestled for a few minutes before he lifted his head.
"Do you know how sexy you are, when you're being devious and plotting things?" he asked seductively. He began to walk backwards, pulling me over to the bed.
I grinned at him and shook my head. "Nope. I think you better explain it to me," I said as I held his hands. He laid back on the bed, pulling me on top of him.
"How 'bout I show you?" he whispered, rolling me over and straddling my hips.
It was a long night!
The next morning, we all met again for breakfast. Once more, not a word was said about Nicky's birthday. I started to feel a little bad because I could see his disappointment. He was sure everyone had forgotten. But I wasn't sorry enough to ruin the surprise!
After breakfast, I called to make sure the arrangements were made. The bakery was ready and would deliver the cake during the concert so Nick wouldn't see it. I called the airport and made sure those plans were ready too.
Brian and I went down to the hotel lobby and bought a copy of each of the local papers. Flipping through them to the entertainment section, we found that they had printed my little notice. Everything was coming together perfectly.
Finally, it was time to get ready to go to the stadium.
"Scott, Angel? Are you ready?" Brian asked me as I walked out of the bathroom.
I smiled at him and walked over, giving him a hug. "You better believe it!" I replied with a grin.
Brian laughed. "You do realize that this is going to cause a war?" he asked, running his fingers through my curly hair, sending shivers through me.
I nodded. "But it will be worth it." I paused. "Didn't you feel sorry for Nick this morning?" I asked as I leaned forward to kiss him.
Brian nodded. "I did. It was really hard not to wish him a happy birthday. He even asked me if I knew what day today is. I just kept playing dumb."
I laughed. "You are bad!" I said to Brian.
He laughed. "Yeah, but you love it!" he said, kissing me again. I had to agree.
Grabbing my hand, we walked out into the hall and found the others all ready to go. As had become custom, the moment we stepped onto the elevator, we released each other's hands and took a step away from each other. The six of us walked through the hotel and out to the waiting limousine, which whisked us across the city to the huge outdoor stadium.
Once at the arena, I began to wander around backstage, while the guys went to hair and makeup and changed into their costumes.
The concert proceeded without problems until near the end of the evening. Right in the middle of a song, all the lights dimmed. From the stage, the guys couldn't see the giant video screens, but four of them had a good idea what was happening. Their headsets had been turned off. I watched the numbers on the giant screen 5...4...3...2...1. Suddenly the lights came on, with a spotlight on Nick and almost all of the 40,000 plus fans began to sing Happy Birthday.
Nick stood there stunned, as the guys gathered around him and sang too. I almost wished I could be up on stage with him.
As the crowd sang, the video screens flashed the baby pictures that Jane had sent me. From my position in the control booth, I could see Nick turning a bright shade of red in embarrassment. But it wasn't over yet.
The elevator in the center of the stage started to move up and suddenly the audience could see a giant birthday cake. The cameras zoomed in so the video screens could show it.
Again the lights dimmed, but this time the others were just as confused as Nick. I picked up the microphone.
"You might want to look up Nicky!" I said. Nick did and so did the audience. Overhead a small plane was circling, pulling a lit banner behind it. The banner read Happy 19th Nicky!
My eyes returned to the stage and I found Brian staring at me. He was grinning broadly.
Nick walked over to the cake and blew out the giant candles. The crowd screamed. Brian handed Nick a hand held mic. Nick's face turned even redder. He waited until the crowd calmed down a little.
"Well, this was a huge surprise!" Nick said, still completely flustered. "I thought that everyone had forgotten my birthday, but obviously I was wrong!"
The audience roared.
"I want to thank these four guys up here with me, my four best friends ever and the rest of the crew. And especially all you people out there in the audience!" The crowd roared again and Nick paused. Brian stepped forward and whispered in his ear.
Nick started speaking again. "And I guess I better thank my newest friend, Scotty," I winced as soon as I heard him say that. "Apparently all this was his idea. I don't know how I'm EVER going to thank him or repay him for what he's done!"
The crowd went wild, cheering but I knew exactly what Nick was saying. He'd just declared war. I knew that the rest of the tour just became more interesting.
The concert finally resumed, with a few more songs. I wandered back to the dressing room to wait.
I was sitting quietly reading a magazine when the door suddenly flung open. I had just enough time to look up and see Nick racing across the floor before he pounced on me. He started to tickle me. I began to scream and laugh at the same time.
I thought that my love would come to my rescue but he stood there laughing. "I told you so!" he said with a grin.
A few minutes later, Nick finally let up. He was still sitting on me. "Don't you know how much I hate people calling me Nicky? And now you have half the city doing it!"
I just grinned. "I know!"
Nick glared at me, then a smirk crept onto his face. I knew I was in trouble. "Well, SCOTTY, I'll just have to figure out how to get my revenge!"
I shuddered. I hated 'Scotty' almost as much as Nick hated 'Nicky'.
He finally crawled off of me. "So how did you guys do all this?" he asked curiously. The others were sitting around watching us.
"And what about that plane?" Howie asked.
I grinned and shrugged. "I just wanted to give you a nice surprise for your birthday Nicky. Nineteen is a really big one and we thought it should be special. The idea came to me and I told Brian. He talked to the others," I explained. "Yesterday, I called the local papers and asked them to put a little notice in for all the fans coming to tonight's concert. When they saw the countdown on the video screens, they were to start singing. The rest was easy." I glanced to where Brian was and cocked my head. He got the idea and walked over to sit beside me. My arm instinctively went around his shoulders.
"I'd already called the bakery about the cake. I emailed your Mom a few days ago and she sent me the pictures. So you have her to blame for the baby pics. The crew was more than happy to help...I guess they've been on the receiving end of a few of your pranks," I said with a smirk.
"And the plane?" AJ asked.
I smiled. "I'm not sure where that idea came from. I just thought about, and called around. I found a small airplane company that agreed to do it. I knew the concert was outside so it was perfect." I paused. "I'm sure the entire city enjoyed it!" I added.
Nick groaned. "Oh great!"
He looked at me intently then. "Seriously Scott, thank you! I honestly thought that all you guys had forgotten about it," he said, looking around at the others.
Brian walked over and hugged him. "Not a chance, Frack! Not a chance ever!" he said.
"And its not over yet, Nick!" Kevin said suddenly. We all looked at him; this was news to me.
Kevin stood up. "Come on guys. We have to shower and change. The rest of the crew is going to be waiting."
They headed to the showers, while I resumed reading my magazine. As was becoming tradition, Brian was the first one done and he joined me while we waited for the others.
He sat down and kissed my cheek. "You really are sweet, you know that?" he said softly.
I turned to look at him. "Not as sweet as you," I whispered back. I couldn't get enough of him and we started to kiss. I love the taste of his lips. They are so soft and supple. His skin is so smooth. In my books he was perfect.
A few minutes later the rest of the guys came out. We walked back out and onto the stage. By then, the stadium had been emptied of fans, leaving only the BSB team.
All of the crew and dancers were there with the cake and a table bursting with food. I looked at Kevin in surprise.
"Hey, I couldn't let you be the only one to plan things!" he said with a grin.
A radio was playing and everyone clapped when they saw Nick. A table off to the side was covered with presents. It was so cute to watch Nick's eyes light up when he saw it. He may be nineteen, but he would always be a kid at heart.
Everyone began to mingle, dance and eat. Nick worked his way through the people, thanking everyone personally for their thoughts and gifts. Brian and I stood quietly to the side, arms entwined, and watched.
"You did a good job with him," I whispered to Brian.
He turned to look at me. "What do you mean?"
I nodded in Nick's direction. "Nicky. Most people think Kevin took on the parental role and I guess to a degree he did. But I can tell from the way you and Nick interact, that your role as big brother, best friend and confidant has been a major force in his life. He really loves and respects you," I said.
Brian looked over to Nick with an affectionate expression. "It's mutual. We both helped each other grow and mature. But I guess that's what brothers do." He looked back at me and kissed my cheek. "I'm so happy you and he get along too."
I nodded. "Me too. I always wanted a younger brother!"
We laughed and watch the activities. Nick was over by the table unwrapping presents. A small crowd had gathered and everyone laughed and talked about each gift. Most were gag gifts but some were CD's and video games. I looked around the stage. There were over fifty people there. My eye caught a figure standing alone, off to one side.
He was staring at Brian and I. Ray. I'd almost put him out of my mind. He was always around when the guys were performing, but he hadn't made any comments or moves on Brian since that concert in Orlando. I didn't feel threatened by him. I would have preferred if he wasn't around, but that wasn't my call.
Brian noticed my distraction and turned to look at me. His eyes followed my gaze. He quickly turned back to me and gently grasped my chin.
"Angel?" he said softly. I looked down into his clear blue eyes. "Forget about him! It's just you and I. We have three days off. What are we going to do?" he asked as his hands ran up and down my back.
I grinned and softly brushed my fingers across his cheek. "I can think of one or two things," I murmured. The heat of Brian's body against mine was starting to affect me. I could see similar thoughts in Brian's eyes.
"Excuse me for a minute Angel," he said softly. He walked over to Nick and whispered in his ear. Nick looked over at me and grinned. He nodded and gave Brian a hug. Brian returned to my position.
"Let's go Angel," he said, holding out his hand for me.
I grasped the outstretched hand and we headed off the stage. As we walked we heard footsteps fall into step behind us.
"Is there a car we can take back to the hotel, Marcus?" Brian said without turning around.
"Yeah, there are a couple out the back," Marcus replied from behind us.
The three of us walked to the back exit and after a quick check by Marcus, climbed into the car. Marcus joined the driver in the front seat. Brian closed the blackened glass window between the sections.
He turned to me. "Now where were we?" he asked as his hands crept under my shirt.
