**He slowly walked towards us. As he got near the center of the stage, Kevin and Howie started to sing, drawing the crowd in too. Once he reached me, he pretended to smile, knowing he was probably on one of the large video screens. "You have no idea how much you'll pay for this," he said, trying to sound threatening. All I did was laugh.
Scott stood there and grinned as about fifteen thousand fans, the guys and I sang to him. It was something I knew he wouldn't soon forget.
Chapter 43 - Brian
I woke up to the incessant ringing of a phone. When I realized it was mine I rolled out of bed to get it. The first couple of steps brought a smile to my face as I remembered Scott's punishment for making him get on stage the night before. I hoped the soreness would fade before the concert that night.
"Hello?" I said as I answered the phone.
"Is this Brian Littrell?"
"Yes," I replied, not sure who it was.
"Brian, this is Oprah Winfrey." My eyes widened in surprise. "Someone in your organization contacted me about an interview, is that right?"
"Yes Ma'am," I replied.
Oprah laughed. "Don't call me that, Brian! Oprah will do fine."
"Okay, Oprah." I started to relax, remembering how sweet a lady she was.
"Good. What I wanted to know is what the interview was for, and why me?" she asked.
Fair question. "Um…you don't tape phone conversations do you? I'm sorry if I sound paranoid, but I need to know that anything I say, doesn't get out until we're ready," I explained.
Oprah was silent for a moment. "Sounds serious Brian. No, I don't tape conversations without telling the person, so you are not on tape."
I sighed in relief. "Okay, thanks. To answer your questions, the reason we chose you, is you are fair but demanding. You want the truth, but you don't attack people to get it. And you are highly respected by millions of people. We don't want to become a media circus, we just want to make sure people know the truth, not what the tabloids say" I glanced at Scott and smiled when I found him listening intently. I walked back to the bed.
"Thank you for the compliment Brian. I'm still a little confused though. You keep talking about we. Is that we, the Backstreet Boys?"
I laughed nervously. "Oh, sorry. No, the 'we' I'm talking about is my lover and myself. My gorgeous, sexy, smart, male lover." I watched Scott blush, but just smiled lovingly at him. "Which I guess answers your other question. That is what the interview would be about." My gaze fell on Scott again as I thought about how much I loved him.
"Sounds like you are in love Brian," Oprah said gently.
"I am. Completely and absolutely in love." Scott pulled me into a hug while I continued to talk.
"So I'm guessing the interview is about you and your boyfriend coming out publicly?" Oprah asked.
"Yes, we want to go public, but we want to try to minimize all the lies and stories the tabloids come up with. We thought if we made the announcement ourselves, and answered some real questions about ourselves, that we could avoid some problems. At least that is what we are hoping."
"Alright. That is entirely understandable. When were you wanting to do the interview, and when were you planning to go public?" Oprah asked.
"Well, the interview could be at your convenience, however, Scott and I were planning on going out, as a couple, New Years Eve. I know that doesn't give you much warning, but we've only had the last few days to plan things. I guess the only stipulation we have is that the interview doesn't air before New Years Eve. We really need the rest of this month to prepare ourselves and our families."
"I can live with that," Oprah agreed. "I'm just checking my own schedule…do you want the interview done in my studio, or somewhere else?" she asked.
I looked at Scott. "She wants to know where we want the interview done? What about at the farm?" Scott nodded. The farm was perfect. I turned back to the phone. "My parents have a large farm outside Lexington Kentucky. Would it be okay if we did the interview there?"
"I think that would be perfect. How would December 28th work for you and …Scott, is it?"
I smiled. "December 28th would be perfect, Oprah. You don't know how much Scott and I appreciate this."
"You're very welcome Brian. If you would have your assistant contact mine with the directions, that would be helpful. I think I will just bring a small crew of a couple of cameramen, so we can keep things as quiet as possible. And I will courier a copy of the final interview to you before it airs. I shouldn't have too much trouble getting the network to agree to an 'Oprah Winfrey special' for New Years. Even if I won't tell them the full details of the special!" she said with a laugh.
I listened then laughed. "That would be great. I'll make sure our rep gets you all the information you need. We both look forward to seeing you on the 28th and we hope you have a great Christmas!"
"You too Brian! And tell Scott I look forward to meeting him. Take care." With that she hung up.
I hung up the phone and looked over at Scott with a grin. "Its set!" I pulled him into a hug. "She said she's looking forward to meeting you," I added, hiding my smirk. I knew that would make him nervous.
We fell back onto the bed, so I was straddling Scott. I leaned down and very softly, kissed him. "I…love…you," I whispered, pausing between each word to kiss a different spot on his face.
Scott smiled up at me and opened his mouth to speak.
"Wake up guys! You have half an hour until breakfast," Howie shouted from outside the room, accompanying his words with banging on our door.
I groaned and rolled off of Scott, who just laughed. Sometimes I wondered if the guys bugged our room so they could interrupt us at the perfect moment.
Scott nudged me with his elbow then rolled off the bed. "Come on, Love. We'll get this day over with, then we have two days off!" he said encouragingly.
I sighed and followed him into the bathroom. We took a quick, shared shower, with no fooling around, before joining the others across the hall for breakfast. I told them about talking to Oprah, and the arrangements we had for the interview. They all seemed genuinely happy for us.
Fortunately the day wasn't quite as hectic as the day before, so I was able to make more plans for Scott's birthday. As we traveled to the first radio station, I borrowed Kevin's laptop and searched for restaurants and clubs in New Orleans. I found a few possibilities and wrote the names down to check later. While we were travelling from the first interview to the second, I talked to the guys about what I had planned.
"I was thinking that Scott and I would go out, alone tomorrow night for his birthday," I mentioned.
The others stopped talking and listened.
"We were hoping to have a meal with him," Kevin spoke up. "A lot of the crew have asked about a party because they have gifts," he added.
I thought about it. "What about a brunch type meal at the hotel? I'm sure there is a room we could rent?" I suggested.
The others nodded. "Okay. I'll look into it and let you know at the concert tonight," Kevin said before writing something down in his schedule keeper.
I looked over at Marcus. "I have a favor to ask you too," I said. He cocked an eyebrow. "There is a club here that I would like to take Scott to, tonight. I imagine you will want to check it out first. But you should know, that it is a gay club," I told him.
Marcus shrugged, surprising me. "I've been in this business for a while Bri, I've been in some strange places and been hit on by many people of both genders. It obviously doesn't bother me since I'm still here protecting your scrawny butt," he added with a grin.
"Hey!" I protested, but laughed too.
"So what's the club?" he asked.
I looked at my notes from earlier. "It's called Club Icon," I told him. He nodded. "And there is a restaurant I want to go to before we go to the club," I added and handed him the paper with the name of the restaurant.
"Okay. I'll check both out," he said. "Are you planning on going as yourself?" he asked curiously.
I paused. "I hadn't really thought about it," I admitted.
AJ jumped into the conversation. "Well you can't be wearing the old hat and glasses trick. You won't fit in," he announced. "This Club Icon is a happening place. You need to fit in!"
I looked at AJ and found my solution. I reached up to my hair. "What about some temporary hair color?" I suggested.
AJ looked at me. He finally nodded. "Yeah, if you went darker brown, it might work. You should also try some contacts," he added. "You can get contacts that simply change your eye color. That would really make a difference."
I thought it was a great idea. "Thanks J. I'll talk to Marissa when we get to the arena later. I'm sure she'll be able to get whatever I need."
After the second interview, we were able to return to the hotel for the afternoon. It was nice. Scott and I were able to relax in our room for a few hours before we were needed at the New Orleans arena for sound check. Scott came with us this time, sitting down in the front row of seats watching us on stage.
Kevin let me know that everything was arranged for the next day. We would be having lunch with all of the crew in one of the hotel's private rooms. Marcus also let me know everything had been arranged. The restaurant had a reservation, and he'd made arrangements with the club to be able to get us in the back door. Marissa promised to help me out too. I just had to find a couple of free hours the next afternoon so she could work her magic.
I woke up late the next morning but Scott was still sleeping. I leaned on my elbow and watched him for a few minutes. His long, dark eyelashes fluttered against his cheeks. Although he was beautiful asleep, I had the day planned and needed him awake. I called room service to order breakfast, then moved under the blankets. I quickly found what I was looking for and began to nibble and lick it gently.
Scott's body began to move unconsciously, thrusting up into my mouth. I cupped his balls and suckled harder. I could feel when he was about to cum and rubbed my finger across his opening. Scott screamed as he jerked awake and began to cum. I swallowed everything, before licking gently to clean any remains.
I moved up over his body until I was stretched out on top of him. Scott slowly opened his eyes and looked at me. I couldn't help but smile at the sated expression he wore. "Good morning," I murmured before nibbling on his chin. "Happy birthday, my sweet angel. I love you."
"Mmmm," he managed to groan out.
I laughed. "I have your day planned, so its time to get up," I added.
Scott wasn't too happy about that. He reached up and wrapped his arms around me then rolled us over so he was lying on top. He tucked his head in the crook of my neck. "Sleep," he muttered.
I licked his ear. "You can have a nap this afternoon, Scott," I promised. "But breakfast is going to be here any minute."
Scott sighed and rolled to his back, stretching his arms over his head before glancing over at me. I was tempted to pounce he looked so sexy. "Okay, you win. I'm awake. You better be worth it."
I grinned and leaned over to kiss him. "I am," I whispered. Before we could get any further there was a knock at the door. I rolled off the bed and Scott pulled the blankets up over his head. I opened the door, signed for the food and wheeled the cart back inside.
Scott sat up to watch as I pushed the cart over to the side of the bed. I sat down beside him, with the cart beside me.
"Close your eyes," I told him. He did. I lifted the lid from the cart and picked up a morsel of food before placing it against Scott's lips. The first bite was a strawberry dipped in whipped cream that made Scott moan enthusiastically.
I continued to feed him a variety of fruit dipped in whipped cream with the occasional bite dipped in chocolate. I fed myself the same things. It was light and delectable. When we finished I kissed Scott, tasting the remnants of chocolate and cream still in his mouth.
Scott opened his eyes and grinned at me. "Perfect," he murmured.
I smiled brilliantly. "I know it's fairly light, but we have a lunch date in a couple of hours with a few other people," I explained.
"So what comes next?" he asked as he leaned forward for another kiss.
I moved the cart away and walked over to the dresser. I opened the bottom drawer and pulled out a bag that I took back to the bed. I dumped the contents beside Scott.
There were about ten different bottles of massage oils, different scents, some edible, some not. I walked to the bathroom and came back with one of the large hotel towels.
"So who would like a full body message?" I asked holding the towel around my neck.
Scott laughed and waved his hand. "I do, I do!"
We managed to occupy our time for the next couple of hours and turn Scott into a bowl of jelly at the same time. I'd given Scott shorter massages before, but never the full treatment. But, the entire body massage surprised Scott. I could tell that every muscle in his body was relaxed. And I worked in such a way, that although it was sensual, it wasn't sexual. Neither of us became aroused yet our love was transmitted through our skin wherever our bodies touched.
Eventually I stopped and lay down beside him on the bed. We simply relaxed quietly for a few minutes before we had to get up, shower and dress. I felt so close to Scott, so loved, that it was difficult not to touch him all the time. And he obviously felt the same way, 'accidentally' brushing past me as we got dressed.
Once we were ready, I led us downstairs. We by-passed the dining room, instead walking to a private room. Scott knew there would be people there, but I think he was surprised to find, not only the other singers, but also the rest of the crew, dancers and technicians.
Everyone wished him a happy birthday as, hand in hand, Scott and I made our way through the crowd of 50 or 60 people. That was the real treat. Since everyone in the Backstreet organization already knew about us, we didn't have to hide.
At the main table there was a huge chocolate cake in the shape of a computer monitor and keyboard. It was amazing, and I figured I had Kevin to thank for thinking of it.
I held up my hand to get everybody's attention. "I know we're all hungry. And from the smell of the food on the buffet, I know we're going to have a great meal. But since this is a birthday party, I thought we should have a few words from the guest of honor!" I announced.
Scott was so relaxed from the earlier massage that he just smiled at me, before moving in front. "Well, I don't know what your day has been like, but mine has been pretty incredible so far." He glanced at me. "By the way, if anyone wants a mind blowing massage, I'm willing to rent him out," he said, nodding towards me.
"Hey!" I protested making the crowd laugh.
"Just kidding! Those hands are off limits as is the rest of him!" More laughter. "Seriously, I'd like to thank all of you for making me feel welcome as part of the Backstreet team. The last year plus has been incredible. And hopefully with the support of people like all of you, there will be many more years of Backstreet to come."
Everybody cheered. Scott and I led the line to the buffet table. It was laden with both breakfast and lunch foods, everything from bacon, eggs and pancakes to salad, cold meats and soup. We filled our plates and found a table to sit at.
It was a rowdy but fun meal. As we finished eating Kevin stood to make an announcement.
"A few weeks ago, a few people approached me wondering what they could get Scott for his birthday. I really didn't have a clue," he admitted to laughter. "Then a few days later, these same people came back to me with a suggestion. As far as I know, every person here, with the exception of the birthday boy, and his partner, has contributed to this gift." He paused. "It's actually a joint gift including Brian's birthday next month." Kevin pulled out an envelope and handed it to us. I let Scott do the honors.
Scott was stunned by what was inside. He was speechless and simply handed the papers to me. Inside was a cheque for $250 000 with a note indicating the money was to be donated in our names to a gay and lesbian organization in Orlando and one in Toronto.
I was incredulous.
Scott finally collected his thoughts enough to speak. "Wow! I'm not sure what to say except thank you! This is truly a remarkable gift. The acceptance we have received from all of you is incredible and I think Brian and I both realize how fortunate we have been. Hopefully this money will help some of those who haven't been as lucky. Thanks." He quickly finished and sat down because he was getting emotional.
I was feeling the same way and leaned over to hug him. "We are truly blessed," I whispered.
The party wrapped up after that. People gradually left until only the guys and a couple of security remained.
I glanced at my watch then walked over to whisper to Nick. "Nick, I have to go up to Marissa's now. Can you and the others keep Scott busy for a couple of hours?"
Nick nodded and smiled before I walked back to Scott.
I kissed his cheek. "I'll see you in a couple of hours. Be good!" I said then walked out of the room.
I quickly walked out to the elevator and took it up to the 8th floor where Marissa's room was. I knocked on the door and she let me in.
"Hi Brian," she greeted me. "You ready to be transformed?" she asked with a grin.
"Definitely," I said.
"Okay, let's go to the bathroom. You might want to take your shirt off, just in case," she suggested. "The dye is not permanent and will wash out after a few washes," she explained. I sat on the closed toilet while she put a towel around my shoulders. Using some latex gloves she worked the color through my hair. While she let the dye work we went to look at the rest of the plan. "I thought brown contacts would be the most contrast since your eyes are blue."
I looked at the contacts she had, and agreed. The brown would give the most difference. "Sounds good. Are they hard to put in?" I asked. Marissa explained how to put them in and take them out. The buzzer went and we returned to the bathroom where she rinsed off the coloring, and then dried my hair.
We went back out to the bedroom and I sat in a chair. Marissa pulled out some small curlers and put them in my hair.
By the time the process was done, I had medium brown hair, with tight curls, and brown eyes. I barely recognized myself in the mirror. "Great job Marissa, thanks!" She grinned. "Do you think I could borrow your room for a bit? I want to go to my room and change, but when Scott first sees me, I want to be somewhere else. I don't think he knows this is your room."
"Sure Brian. You can have my key, then leave it in the room when you leave. I'll just get a second one from the front desk."
I took the key and kissed her cheek. "Thanks so much!" I said sincerely.
She smiled. "No problem. I hope you and Scott have fun tonight!"
I called Marcus to make sure Scott wasn't in our room, then I went up. I pulled out the clothes I planned for us to wear, then changed into some clothes I didn't think Scott had seen me wear. I also grabbed a pair of plain glass reading glasses. I returned to Marissa's room and called Marcus again, asking him to bring Scott to me. Then I waited.
I was sitting in a chair facing the door when it opened and Scott walked in. Marcus pulled the door closed behind him. Scott looked at me. I met his gaze and he looked closer before a stunned expression crossed his face.
"Bri?" he asked. I could hear the disbelief in his voice.
I smiled and Scott relaxed. I stood and walked towards him. "What do you think?" I asked.
He shook his head and grinned. "If you hadn't smiled when you did, I would have walked out," he told me.
I reached him and pulled him into a hug. "So I guess my plan will work," I said.
Scott pulled back and kissed me. "What plan?" he asked.
I pulled him over to the chairs by the window. "I was doing some surfing on the net for gay friendly places. I found a number of them here in New Orleans. So I thought, we could go out and really celebrate tonight. We have a reservation in a restaurant in the Quarter, then we're going dancing at a club," I announced.
"A club?" he sounded doubtful.
I just smiled. "It will be fine, Scott. It's a gay club called Club Icon. Apparently it's hot!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and sat down on his lap. "Please? I want to go dancing with my lover and show him off," I begged.
Scott pulled back to look at me again. "Well, no one is likely to recognize you. I mean I barely did, and I know you better than anyone," he reluctantly admitted.
I grinned knowing I'd won. "Great! This will be fun, I promise, Scott." I jumped up and pulled Scott to his feet. "I've got our clothes set out in our room, so lets go get ready," I said.
Scott looked around as we were leaving. "Whose room is this?" he asked.
I laughed. "It's Marissa's! She did all this for me," I said indicating the new hair color and contacts. Marissa was in charge of Backstreet hair and makeup.
We quickly made our way back to our room. I pushed Scott into the shower, but he managed to drag me in with him. Scott finally caught onto my enthusiasm and I knew the night would be great. Out in the room, Scott looked over the clothes I'd set out for him. I'd pulled out a pair of his old jeans that were well worn and snug, in all the right places. For myself I'd borrowed some black leather pants from wardrobe. I pulled the pants on, pleased with how well they fit. Then I added a stretchy, dark red, short sleeve, shirt that molded to my muscles. Over top of that I put on a black silk shirt.
I finally noticed that Scott was watching me closely, almost drooling. I grinned at him. "Hurry up and get dressed, Angel," I said softly. Scott turned back to his own clothes and it was my turn to drool. He pulled on the snug jeans, then the dark green shirt that matched my red one. It fit him perfectly, outlining his toned chest and arms. To go on top, I'd selected a green silk shirt. He looked incredible!
We both pulled on short black boots to complete our outfits. Scott let me put some gel in his hair to make it glisten. We stopped in the bathroom to look at our selves in the mirror. I thought we both looked hot!
"Wow, Scott. We should do this more often," I commented. "You look good enough to eat," I added as I turned towards him and kissed his throat.
It took Scott a minute to realize what I'd said. "Brian!" he exclaimed and pulled back. But it was too late. I had left a nice red mark on the right side of his neck that wasn't hidden by his shirts. Personally I thought it suited him. A marked man!
I looked up at him. "Sorry, but you look so good, I just want everyone to know you're taken," I said sincerely.
Scott grinned. "If you didn't have to meet with reporters in less than forty-eight hours, you would have a matching mark," he told me. I was glad he felt the same.
We made sure we had our wallets and cell phones before we left. I didn't worry about security. I knew someone would follow us to the restaurant, and then to the club. We would be fine while we were in the restaurant, and I knew Marcus was going to join us in the club. I could live with that. No one even looked at us as we caught a cab in front of the hotel. I gave the driver the name and address for the restaurant and we were on our way.
I reached across the seat of the car to hold Scott's hand. Scott immediately tried to move his hand, but I wouldn't let him. He looked over at me but I just smiled and squeezed his fingers.
We enjoyed looking at the city as the car wound its way through the streets to the restaurant. I'd been to New Orleans before, but never this part of the city. The one thing that both of us noticed as we got closer to our destination, was the number of gay couples among the crowds on the streets. We saw numerous male and female couples walking around, holding hands, with no one paying any attention. Scott and I smiled at each other. It was nice to see.
When the car stopped, I slid out, pulling Scott with me. I wouldn't let go of his hand. I paid the driver then we walked into the restaurant. I spoke to the hostess. "Brian Thomas, reservations for two," I said. She smiled.
"Right this way gentlemen," she said as she led us to our table. It was a nice restaurant, and the tables were all fairly private. "Your waiter will be Jason, and he'll be right with you," she said before walking away.
Scott grinned at me and looked at the menu. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, making it difficult to choose. We talked about the options for a minute before the waiter arrived.
I looked up at him. He was tall, dark haired, and, not bad looking, but not as cute as Scott!
"May I get you gentlemen a drink before dinner?" he asked. "Or would you just like to order now?"
"We were wondering if you could recommend a few of the entrees," I said.
The waiter, Jason, smiled. "Sure. First I should ask if you've eaten Cajun before, or do you like it?"
"It's my first visit here, so I've never had it. But I really don't like spicy food anyway," Scott admitted.
"You dull, boring, Canuck," I joked. He knew I didn't really like spicy stuff either.
Jason grinned. "Hey, you Canadian? I'm from near Toronto," he said.
Scott smiled. "Me too!"
"Well, I don't want to keep you two from your dinner," he said. Jason pointed out a number of main dishes that went easy on spices. Scott and I decided to try one each, so we could share. I also ordered us a bottle of wine. Jason took the order then left.
I looked over at Scott. "You flirting with another man?" I asked, pretending to be angry.
Scott reached across and rested his hand on mine. "Like there is anyone else I'd even look at twice after having had you," he said softly.
Oh, there he was sweet-talking again. I couldn't stop myself from blushing.
Jason returned with the wine and glasses.
"So what are you doing so far from home?" Scott asked Jason, as I tasted the wine.
"I'm going to school here," he explained. "Tulane." I nodded and Jason poured the wine. "Enjoy," he said before leaving.
I sipped the wine and stared at Scott. He was looking at me intently, probably trying to get used to my new look. "This was a good idea, Bri," he said quietly.
I grinned and raised my glass. "To us," I toasted.
"To us!" The glasses clinked then we both drank.
"I'm looking forward to being able to do this regularly," I commented. It was a really nice change to be able to be out, together, and show affection, without having to worry about consequences.
We chatted about our plans for the next few days. We would be leaving for Oklahoma the next day. After one concert in Tulsa, there was an all night bus ride taking us to Denver. Then after the Denver concert, Scott and I would be flying to Toronto to visit his family.
Jason returned with our meals. I ordered the shrimp etouffee, while Scott had the Jambalaya. We ate the meal by taking a bite from our own plates, then one from the other's plate. Both meals were excellent. Scott simply smiled when I insisted on using my fork to feed him a bite of shrimp.
As we finished the meal, Jason arrived to remove the empty plates. "Would either of you like coffee and or dessert?" Jason asked.
Scott looked at me. I was too full for more food and I was sure he was too. "I think we'll pass on dessert, but I'd like some tea, and coffee for Brian, please," Scott replied.
"Sure thing, Mr. Waters," Jason replied quietly before moving away.
I looked up in surprise when I heard Scott's name. Scott smiled across at me. "I thought he'd figured us out," he admitted. "I think that was just his way of letting us know that he had, but would keep quiet."
I was quiet for a moment then nodded. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I imagine there were a few gay guys at the concert the other night when you were front and center. But," I said with a smile. "I'm not going to worry about it any more. Things will be out in the open soon enough."
Scott returned my smile, and I could tell he was pleased by my change in attitude. I was finally comfortable with my decision. No regrets. Jason returned with our beverages. I smiled up at him. "Thank you, Jason," I said sincerely.
Jason grinned and shrugged. "No problem Mr. Littrell. We have to protect our own," he said.
Scott and I lingered over the drinks until it was after ten. Finally I signaled for the bill. When Jason brought it, I asked Jason to call a cab for us as well. I left a generous tip, figuring Jason deserved it. Scott just grinned. We both thanked Jason again before we left. The cab was waiting and I held the door for Scott while he stepped into the car. Once I was in, I gave directions to the club. The cab driver knew exactly where it was.
It only took a few minutes to get there. It was obvious when we got close because of the lineup standing out on the street. It wound halfway down the block. The car stopped at the end of the block and I paid the driver. As we started towards the end of the line, I grabbed Scott's hand, entwining our fingers. Before we reached the line, a nearby door opened, to reveal Marcus. Scott grinned at the bodyguard as I led us in the private entrance of the club.
We were immediately bombarded by the loud, pounding beat of music. Scott and I looked at each other and grinned. We made our way out into the main part of the club and stopped. I don't know about Scott, but I certainly had never been to a club like this one. It was wall-to-wall men! Incredibly buff, gorgeous men, some of them wearing practically nothing.
I grabbed Scott's hand and started to lead him through the mass of pulsing bodies as I followed Marcus. We eventually reached a table tucked against the wall. Tom was already there. We grinned at him as he raised his glass in salutation.
I stripped off my black shirt, and Scott followed suit, taking off his silk shirt. I took it from his hands and tossed it onto one of the chairs, and then grabbed his hand again, pulling him out onto the dance floor.
We found a tiny corner, and let loose. We danced through two songs before deciding to take a break and return to the table. Marcus had gotten us both a drink so Scott and I sat down, sipped the drinks and looked around.
I leaned towards Scott. "So what do you think?" I shouted over the loud music.
Scott turned his head and kissed my cheek. "This is wild. I'd only ever heard about clubs like this," he admitted.
We sat watching the club dancers, dancing on the small podiums, set throughout the club. We jokingly rated each of them. In my opinion, none could meet my 'Scott' standards!
Scott set his empty glass down, and pulled me back onto the dance floor. Even though it was a fast song, we danced close together, moving against each other, teasing one another. I couldn't ever remember feeling so liberated. I hoped we'd be able to go out to clubs once in a while, once everything went public.
We danced for another half hour before Scott leaned towards me. "I'm going to get us more drinks," he shouted. I smiled and nodded. Scott turned to head to the bar, when I grabbed him and turned him back around. I pulled him close and kissed him hard and passionately. When I let him go, he was breathless! "What was that for?" he asked.
I grinned. "Just to remind you, you can look, but don't touch!"
Scott laughed and pulled me into a tight hug. "Brian, love why would I even look when I have the hottest guy here?" he asked as quietly as he could, but loud enough for me to hear. I laughed and turned him towards the bar, giving him a gently push.
I watched him go before turning and walking back to the table. Marcus and Tom were there, both fending off unwanted suitors.
I laughed as I sat down and the last man left. "Having fun?" I smirked. Both Marcus and Tom stuck out their tongues. "Probably not a good thing to do in a gay bar," I commented. They laughed.
"Where is Scott?" Marcus asked.
"Went to get us more drinks," I explained.
He frowned. "Next time let one of us go, okay? I feel better when neither of you are alone," he said. I nodded.
A couple of minutes later, when Scott had not returned, Tom went to look for him. I looked around then noticed Scott and Tom walking back, with a third man in tow. The man was average height, dark hair and glasses.
I admit I was curious and jealous of whoever he was. Scott noticed. He set the drinks on the table and slid around so he was beside me. He put his arm around my shoulders, turned my face towards him and kissed me…hard! When he pulled back I felt dazed. Scott laughed. "Brian, love, this is Ben," he said, introducing the new man. "Ben, this is my lover Brian, and our friends Marcus and Tom."
Ben held out his hand to me. "Nice to meet you," he said sincerely.
I shook his hand and he sat down. Scott decided to explain things. "Some guy hit on me at the bar. When I ignored him he tried to slip some X into the drinks. Ben noticed the guy, stopped him and turned him over to the bouncers," Scott said succinctly. I gasped in surprise.
"You okay Scott," I asked quietly.
Scott looked at me and stroked my cheek. "I'm great," he replied just as quietly.
"Thanks for the help," I said seriously as I looked back over at Ben.
Ben smiled. "It's okay. It was pretty obvious Scott was new, cause everyone else knows better than to ever leave his drink unattended," he explained.
Scott nodded. "I know now. I've never been to a place quite like this," Scott admitted to him.
"So what do you do Ben?" Marcus asked, being ever the bodyguard. I hid my smile.
Ben took a sip of his drink. "I work with computers." He stood up. "It was nice meeting all of you, but I have friends waiting. This is a fun place, but watch yourselves, okay?" he suggested. We watched him walk away. I saw him recognize someone and smile brightly. I followed his gaze then jabbed Scott with my elbow. I pointed out where Ben was. He was talking intimately with Jason, our waiter from the restaurant. They glanced over at us, and Jason waved. Scott and I smiled and raised our glasses.
Then Scott turned to me, pulling me close. "This has been a great birthday," he said into my ear. "But do you think we can turn this into a two man party, soon?"
I nibbled on his tasty ear. "I think that can be arranged," I murmured.
We finished our drinks quickly then rose. Marcus and Tom followed. This time we left through the front doors. It was great to be out in the fresh air and I realized just how hot and smoky the club had been. The four of us walked to a nearby parking lot where Marcus and Tom had parked. We headed back to the hotel, tired but happy. I looked forward to a more intimate party with Scott, in our bed.
