Season 2

"Wait...what? Was that him?" Justin asked wide eyed.

"No, it was Mr. Scheer Jeremy's lawyer. Well my lawyer."

"How? How can you have a brother?"

"I don't exactly know," Craig said shaking his head. "Jeremy has to be the only gay man in the world that could have an illegitimate child."

"What are you going to do?"

"I guess I have to go see him. Don't I?" he asked, his eyes pleading with Justin for the right answer.

"I don't know. You should at least let him know about your dad."

Craig nodded, "But what do I do? I just interrupt his life just to say, `Hey the father who never loved or cared enough to stick around for you died a few months ago. And oh yeah by the way I'm your brother.'"

"Well not in those exact words."

"Maybe I should find out more about him first. Like what his family is like and stuff. If everything's cool then I'll leave him alone."

"Baby don't you think it's his decision whether he wants to know more about the rest of his family? You should at least give him that option."

"You're right," Craig said shaking his head again. "I'm so stupid."

"No you're not," Justin said kissing his cheek. "Don't say that."

"I guess I have to find him. I have to tell him about Jeremy. If he wants to know more then that's up to him to ask."

"How do we find him?"

"Well Mr. Scheer said that Jeremy had been sending checks to an address in Waco, Texas every month. I guess I'll start there?"

"We'll start there," Justin said holding him tighter. "Together."

"Are you sure you'll have time for this? I thought you guys were going to start recording soon."

"Yeah," he said looking down, "about that."

"Yes?" Craig asked raising Justin's chin with his hand.

"Well I'm still putting the final touches on my second solo album and everything but the label wants me to start promoting for an August release. There's no way I can do both with the schedule their putting together."

"You haven't told the guys yet?"

"Not exactly."

"So that's a no?" Craig asked smiling.

"You know me so well."

"Tell them soon baby. Really soon."

"I will, probably tomorrow or something. But right now I'm worried about you," he said kissing Craig's forehead. "How do you feel?"

"I don't know. I think still surprised. But honestly a little excited," he said with a smile. "I always wanted a younger brother."

"How old do you think he is?"

"Mr. Scheer said probably about sixteen. I hope he likes me."

"I'm sure he'll love you just as much as I do. Well maybe a little less," Justin said kissing his lips.

Craig pulled him in closer, caressing the back of his neck with his fingers as they kissed.

"I love you," Justin said softly as their lips parted.

"I love you too," he said with a smile. "You should eat your breakfast before it gets cold."

"Okay. Do we need to go down to the lawyer's office today?"

"I'm not sure. I'll give him a call back and see if I can get an address or something. When would you be okay to leave?"

"Whenever you want," he said cutting into his pancakes with a fork. "How long do you think it will be?"

"Let's plan for maybe two days and then see what happens?" Craig asked leaning against the counter and picking up the phone.

"Sounds good. I have three more songs that they want finished by next week but it shouldn't take that long. I could actually work on them today."

"Do you think this is weird?" Craig asked turning the phone off before he even dialed a number.

"What?" Justin asked taking a sip of his orange juice.

"Am I really supposed to just show up on his doorstep?"

"You could try to call first."

"That would probably be even more awkward."

"Babe everything is going to work out fine, I promise," he said wrapping his arms around the man again. "No matter what happens at least your giving him an opportunity to find out where he comes from."

Craig nodded, "You're right. Thank you."

"That's what I'm here for," he said kissing him. "Go ahead and make your call and then I'll make the flight arrangements, okay?"

"You don't have to do that."

"I know I don't have to but I want to."

"You're the best," Craig said kissing his lips.

"I know," he said smiling.

As Lance watched JC bounce around the large living room dusting this and rearranging that he knew there was something wrong. He actually could tell the moment the man had opened the door to let him in about an hour ago. As of yet JC had still to mention anything that might have made him upset even though he had practically been talking non stop as the blonde sat on the couch staring at his fidgeting inane attempts at cleaning and conversation. He had been running a feather duster over the same gold picture frame for about five minutes while he rambled on about the new songs he was writing for the group. He wondered why JC always cleaned when something was wrong, and why nothing was ever wrong when they were at Lance's house.

JC could hear himself talking off in the distance almost like he was in a dense fog. Honestly, he did want to talk to someone about the strange vibe he and Wade had been having lately but he couldn't get it out. Maybe it had to do with the fact that he had never been in a relationship like the one he was in. Not really the gay thing, although that was quite new, but he had never actually had a real relationship with a girl either. They had all been one night stands or weekend flings, that was about it. It always made him laugh when he thought about it, but Wade was actually the first real person to come into his life in quite sometime.

He wanted to find a way to work things out. He had decided he didn't want to give up that quickly, he couldn't. But how? What could he do? Talking to Wade about it didn't help. He had tried that twice already. Everything he said seemed to go in one ear and out the other lately. There were more problems then just that and Wade's incessant late night outings. They hadn't done anything sexual in a long time; a really long time. It was frustrating to say the least. JC wasn't sure if it was something that he was doing wrong or if all of his fears had come true and Wade had found someone else to fuck him. He tried to push that last thought out of his mind. Tonight after dinner with his friends, he would remind Wade just how good they were together. He would make him forget about the other guy or whatever it was that was causing a huge gulf between them emotionally and physically.

If for some strange reason he didn't succeed then he would talk to someone. Lance would definitely be that person. The only question was would he actually be able to help?

"Hey B! I haven't seen you in forever," Craig said with his arms wrapped tightly around his friend's neck.

"I know babe," Brian said kissing him on the cheek and patting his back. "Sorry to just drop in like this."

"Not a problem," Justin said smiling at him. "Is Lance with you?"

"Uh, no. I just came from work," he said looking at Justin over Craig's shoulder.

"Come in," Craig said excitedly, releasing him but grabbing onto his hand tightly. He pulled him into the living room and sat him down on the couch. "We have a lot to talk about."

"I know babe. We will," Brian said squeezing his hand. "I actually was thinking we could go for a run or something before dinner."

"Yeah that sounds great actually. Just give us a few minutes to change," Craig said standing and walking towards Justin.

"I think you two should just go," Justin said putting an arm around Craig's waist. "I have some work to finish up anyway."

"Are you sure?" Craig asked frowning.

"Yeah I don't mind if you come. The more the merrier," Brian said smiling.

"No really you guys go spend some time together, okay?" he said kissing Craig's lips.

Craig nodded and smiled at him, "I'll be back in a minute."

"You didn't have to do that," Brian said leaning back on the couch.

"Do what?" Justin asked turning back towards him.

"Play the martyr; you know you're welcome to join us."

"I know. I really have work to do, though."

"What kind of work?"

"Music stuff."

"Lance didn't mention anything."

"It's some solo stuff."

"I thought your album was already finished."

"It is."

"Then?"

"What's with the third degree?" Justin asked sitting on the arm of a chair across from Brian.

"I was just asking," he said crossing his legs. "It just seems odd."

"How so?"

"You're going solo. Like for real this time and you haven't told them."

Justin looked at him with his mouth slightly open for a moment. "You amaze me sometimes."

"Not the airhead model you thought I was?"

"I never thought that at all. You're just extremely perceptive. It's kind of freaky," he said standing. "Can you do me a favor?"

"Sure," Brian said studying his fingernails.

"Can you not mention this to Lance or any of the other guys? I'm just not ready to tell them."

"No problem," he said resting his hands in his lap. "Your secret is safe with me."

"Thanks."

"Thanks for what?" Craig asked walking back down the stairs in thin red running shorts and no shirt.

"Brian's doing me a favor baby," Justin said grabbing onto him as soon as he was in arms reach of each other.

"What kind of favor?" he asked looking from one man to the other.

"I'll tell you when you guys get back," Justin said kissing his forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too. Don't work too hard," Craig said kissing his lips gently.

"Never do," he said winking.

"We'll be back in like an hour?"

"Okay bye," Justin said kissing his lips again. "Be careful."

"I'll keep the kid safe," Brian said standing.

"We're the same age."

"You know I'm three months older then you."

"Sorry I forgot old man," he said punching him in the shoulder.

"Ow, you know I bruise easily," Brian said rubbing his shoulder as they walked to the front door. "I'm a peach."

"Bye baby," Craig said blowing Justin one last kiss before they left the house.

"So what's the big news?" Brian asked once they had been running about a block and a half in silence. "Are you pregnant?"

"You wish," Craig said laughing.

"What makes you say that?"

"Oh B come on. You try to be so hard core all the time but the second you're around a baby you go all mushy."

"I do not. They just bring out my softer side. So the big news," Brian said trying to steer his friend back on course.

"How do you know there's any news let alone big news?"

"You're killin' me here Walsh!"

"Fine. Mr. Scheer called me today."

"Scheer..." Brian said thinking, "Jeremy's lawyer?"

"Yeah. He had some news."

"So we've established."

"I have a brother."

"What?" Brian asked skidding to a complete stop.

"He told me I have a brother. A sixteen year old who lives in Waco, Texas of all places."

"You have got to be shitting me."

"I shit you not."

"Well....shit!"

"That's what I said, well kind of."

"What are you going to do?"

"Justin and I are going to go see him," Craig said pulling at Brian's arm to get him moving again. If they were going to go through the motions of jogging he might as well break a sweat before they stopped.

"When?"

"Like in a week. We both have stuff we have to wrap up first. I still have to do that Rolling Stone shoot."

"I forgot about that."

"Me too. I'm thinking about dropping out."

"Why? They're doing a whole article on you and everything."

"That's kind of what I'm afraid of."

"Why?"

"There are a few parts of my life that I kind of have to keep secret."

"Mainly Justin?"

"Well yeah. I know for a fact he's not ready to come out to the world anytime soon. I mean he came out to his own mother and she disowned him."

"True. That is slightly discouraging."

"I just don't want to put any pressure on him either. He has a lot of stuff going on right now."

"You haven't even told him abut the article have you?"

"Not in so many words," Craig said slowly.

"And the photo shoot?"

"Again, not entirely."

"So kind of?"

"Well he knows I've done photo shoots before. Does that count?"

"Not even a little bit," Brian said shaking his head.

"Okay so I'll tell him before it happens. It's not like he's going to want to be involved or anything."

"You still shouldn't make that decision for him."

"God I hate it when you're right."

"You must have a lot of hate in your life then."

"Funny," Craig said rolling his eyes.

"So back to this long lost brother. Are you just going to show up on his doorstep or does he know you're coming?"

"I don't have anyway of getting in contact with him. All Mr. Scheer had was an address where Jeremy had been sending him money each month. No phone number or anything. We don't even know if the address is still current."

"So you get there and...?"

"I don't know. Tell him what's going on. I'm sure it will come to me."

"What about his mom?"

"She died a few years ago and he's been living with relatives since then."

"He might not be happy to see you."

"I thought of that. I'll try my best to deal with it."

"At least you'll have Justin."

Craig looked at him trying to decode his facial expression. There was a general unpleasantness plastered all over his face, either because he was beginning to feel the run or because something was wrong. Since Brian worked out about three hours a day six days a week Craig chose the latter.

"What's wrong? Lance isn't all he's cracked up to be?"

"No. I mean yes. He's fine."

"What aren't you telling me B?" Craig asked running the palm of his hand across his wet forehead.

"I think there's someone else."

"What?"

"Well I don't think so, I know so."

"Who?"

"JC."

"No." It was Craig's turn to stop suddenly. "He's with Wade."

"I know. I never told you this but before Lance and I got together he told me about these feelings he had for JC since, well forever I guess."

"No," was all that Craig could say.

"I wish it weren't true. I mean now he says they're gone and that he's only into me. But how can I believe that? Loving someone doesn't just go away over night."

"Well no," Craig said following Brian's lead to continue their run. "There is a chance that he is over JC now. You're a really great guy maybe having you around has shown him what love really is."

"Yeah that's a nice fantasy but this isn't a romance novel this is real life. I see the way his eyes light up every time JC calls or how they practically spring out of his head every time he walks into a room."

"Well I never noticed."

"But I have. It hurts Craig."

"Have you talked to him?"

"I haven't laid everything out on the table yet, no. But I have asked him things."

"Like what?"

"Just how he feels about me or JC. He's saying all the right things but I don't even think he believes them anymore."

"Is it worth it?"

"I think so. I haven't felt like this in-"

"You've never felt like this," Craig interrupted.

"I don't want to give that up this easily. I can't go back to being alone again."

"Hey," Craig said stopping to hug his friend. "You were never alone and you never will be."

"Thank you," Brian said clinging to his bare damp back.

"Whatever happens I'm behind you the whole way. You know that right?"

"I'm just going to miss him so much if it doesn't work out, though."

"I know," Craig said holding him tighter.

For the first time in his life Craig felt like he had his life more put together then Brian did. Then something unexpected happened. Something Craig thought he would never ever see. Small drops of tears started to fall from Brian's bright blue, red rimmed eyes and cascade down his rosy freckled cheeks. Craig pulled him away from his chest long enough to kiss each of his salty cheeks and then held him again like Brian had done for him so many times. He guessed that he could be the strong one after all if that was who his friend needed him to be.

Justin really had wanted to get a little work done before dinner with the guys but for some reason the words just weren't coming for any of his songs. None of the music was sounding right either which was equally frustrating. He leaned back in his black leather chair and sighed. The studio on the third floor had always been an area where his greatest creative ideas came to him but there was just too much on his mind.

He missed his family. Although Craig and he both avoided the subject by all costs it couldn't make Justin stop thinking about what had happened. He knew he had made the right choice to neither deny who he really was or the love that he had for Craig, but sometimes he wondered why it had to be all or nothing. Why couldn't his parents have just understood and accepted him?

He hadn't talked to either his mother or father since he had stopped by their house a few weeks ago. That had not been the best visit. He went by to pick up his little brothers so they could spend some time with him and Craig at the zoo and his mother all but literally flipped out. She ranted and raved about how the boys didn't need to be exposed to that kind of behavior. It wasn't like they were going to do anything inappropriate in front of them, and Justin explained as much to her. She wouldn't have it though and ripped the screaming boys from his arms.

If he hadn't thought his heart was broken before, that had done it. Those tiny little red faces wrenched in such pain, pain that could have been avoided with a little compassion from his mother of all people. He wanted to still be a part of their lives and Stacy's for that matter but his parents obviously were not going to make that easy.

He picked up his cell phone which he had brought up just in case Craig would call him and prayed that it would ring. He didn't want to interrupt their run but he needed Craig badly. He wanted to feel his lips and strong arms around his body and hear him whisper that everything was going to be okay in his ear. He wanted to hear those words, but most importantly he wanted to believe them.

His cell phone began to ring a very familiar tone in his hand.

"Hey," he said smiling.

"Hi Jay," Stacy said. "Where are you?"

"At home."

"I tried calling there but you didn't answer."

"I'm in the studio working."

"Sorry to bug you."

"No bother. What's up?"

"Well," she hesitated. "Mom and dad are going away for the weekend and we have to stay with Mrs. North next door."

"Oh," Justin said with a sigh.

"Can we stay with you instead? I hate that lady."

"I don't think that's a good idea."

"Why?"

"You know why Stace."

"All I know is that mom and dad are acting so retarded."

"I can't argue with that," he said with a laugh.

"Can you at least ask? I can't bear to be in that old lady's house for three days."

"I can't promise anything."

"I know but can you try?"

"Is mom home?" he asked after a long pause.

"Yeah hang on. Thank you so much Jay," she said laying down the phone. "Mom!"

Justin racked his brain for some way, anyway, to get his mom to agree to the kids staying with him while they were gone.

"Hello?" Karen said with her professional `I don't know who this is' voice.

"Hi," Justin said simply. He knew she would recognize his voice.

"Hello," she repeated a bit colder.

"Stacy told me you guys are going somewhere this weekend?"

"Yes, it's our anniversary."

"Oh right. I almost forgot."

"I'm sure you have more important things going on."

"Happy anniversary," he said ignoring her comment.

"Thank you."

"If you want you can leave the kids with me instead of bothering Mrs. North."

"No, she's already expecting them."

"Oh. It really wouldn't be any trouble."

"No Justin."

"Mom please, I haven't seen them in so long. It would just be a few days. You can still trust me with them," he said a small amount of whine creeping into his voice.

"I know I can but the plans are already set. Maybe another time."

"Do you really mean that or are you just trying to get me off the phone?"

"We'll see what happens. I'll let you go now. Good bye."

With that she hung up the phone.

Justin sighed as he flipped his cell phone closed. What was it going to take to get through to that woman? He had begged, pleaded and acted aloof but nothing was working. He wondered if anything would ever work.

He finally decided there was no way he was going to be able to concentrate on work with his mind cluttered with so much other stuff so he made his way downstairs.

"Hey babe," Craig said coming up to meet him on the second floor. "I was just looking for you."

Justin smiled at the tan sweaty, slightly out of breath, half clothed man standing in front of him.

"What?" Craig asked stopping in mid step.

"You're just so cute," Justin said kissing his lips lightly and then hugging him.

"Well thank you baby."

Justin nodded burying his face at the base of Craig's neck and taking in the man's smell. Although he had been running around in the hot sun for an hour his skin smelt sweet and fresh.

"You okay?" Craig asked holding him tighter.

"I just talked to my mom."

"Didn't go well?" Craig asked kissing his cheek.

"Nope. They're going out of town and Stace asked me to talk to mom to see if the kids could stay here with us while they were gone."

"No go?"

"Unfortunately not. It would have been so cool to see them like I used to."

"I'm sorry," Craig said running his fingers across the back of his lover's neck.

"It's not your fault."

"Kind of."

"Don't think that," Justin said looking him in the eyes and placing his hand on his cheek.

"Well I mean if I hadn't come along then-"

"Then I wouldn't be half as happy as I am now."

"But are you happy? Really?"

"Yes baby," Justin said kissing his lips deeply. "I love you and I wouldn't trade that for the world."

Craig smiled, taking in the words but still knowing that there was a big part of his boyfriend's heart that had been ripped out of his chest. There was nothing that he could do about it though and that killed him.

"Did Brian leave already?" Justin asked leaving small warm kisses up and down Craig's neck.

"Yeah he went home to shower before dinner."

"When do we have to leave?" he asked running his hands down the man's bare muscular back to the waist band of his running shorts.

"In an hour."

"Fascinating," Justin said kissing his way to Craig's collar bone and down his chest. He pushed his hands underneath the top of the shorts loving the way the soft skin of Craig's ass felt against them. He ran his hands around the man's body and grabbed his hardening cock squeezing it.

"Baby," Craig whimpered between kisses.

"I want to taste you," Justin said sliding his tongue in and out of the man's mouth for a moment. "I want you to cum in my hot little mouth."

Craig moaned as he watched the beautiful blue eyed man lower to his knees in front of him. He felt his shorts being pulled down as Justin ran his hands over his firm strong thighs, flicking his tongue over the head of his dripping wet cock.

"Oh fuck," Craig said loving and hating the way he was being teased all at the same time. He wanted the feeling to last forever but he was ready to be inside the tight wet throat of his lover.

Almost as if censing Craig's urgency, Justin dove down onto the man's dick letting it slide smoothly and quickly all the way down his throat. All of the practice and direction Craig had been giving him was really paying off. He had never been bad at giving head, or at least that's what Craig had said, but he knew for a fact that he was almost a master at it. The way he was able to make his lover's knees go weak and cause him to go speechless was all the proof he needed.

He continued to suck on him running his fingers over his balls and pushing on the sensitive areas at the base of his cock.

Craig's entire body shuddered causing him to fall back against the wall in the hallway.

"Harder," he groaned as he pounded in and out of Justin's mouth, grabbing the back of his head to push the rest of his cock in. "Oh baby! Yes!"

Justin smiled to himself as he felt splash after splash of hot cum down his throat. He took it all licking and sucking the cock that invaded his mouth to get every last drop cleaned up.

Craig leaned his head back against the wall catching his breath as Justin stood in front of him, a smile from ear to ear.

"God I love you," Craig said grabbing him by the shoulders and pulling him roughly to his lips. He ran his hands over the bulge in Justin's pants as they kissed, unzipping them to release his cock.

"Fuck me," Craig said in his ear as he massaged and pulled on his rock hard dick. "Please, fuck me."

Justin said nothing but turned him around so his cheek was pressed against the cold white wall. He spread his tan sculpted ass apart with one hand as he held his cock with the other, his pants now around his ankles. He ran his dick up and down the crack of Craig's ass spreading the sticky pre-cum that dripped from his member all over his hole. He leaned against his lovers back, feeling the thin sheen of perspiration that had broken out all over Craig's body when he came just moments before, and started to insert his cock. He pressed harder, the head entering the warm canal smoothly. He could feel every part of the man he loved wrapped around him tightly as he pushed further inside of him. He placed his hands on Craig's hips and pulled him all the way on his hard cock. He rode the man's ass pounding in and out of him as hard as he could. Usually their love making was slow and soft but occasionally they both were just in need of a good fucking. This was definitely one of those times.

Justin's muscles tightened and his body tensed up as he got closer. He grasped Craig tightly running his hands up and down his rock hard chest and abs and sucking on his neck as he fucked him. He moaned loudly as his stiff dick twitched inside of Craig, his cum spurting out in long hot streams inside his lover.

He breathed in deeply, catching his breath while leaving kisses all over Craig's sweet skin.

"Are you okay?" Justin asked kissing the side of his face.

"More then just okay," Craig said turning around to face his love.

"You are so freaking hot."

Craig kissed him deeply running his hands across his back and shoulders.

"I love you baby."

"I love you too. Let's go shower up."

"Sounds like fun," Justin said with a wink. He was positive that there was no way he could ever get enough of the man.

"Not too much fun, Brian's going to be here soon," he said wrapping an arm around his waist as they walked to the master bedroom.

"He's not driving with Lance?"

"It's a whole thing," Craig said shaking his head. "I promise I'll explain later."

"Okay babe," Justin said kissing his lips softly once they were standing in the middle of their room.

"Mmmm...One more?"

"Of course," he said pulling their bodies close together and placing his lips over Craig's.

Their kisses started to get harder and more intense as Justin guided Craig backwards to the bed. He laid him down placing his body over his as they continued to make out.

"Baby," Craig said as Justin started to suck and lick his neck. "We really don't have time."

"Are you sure?" he asked pecking his lips then moving farther down his body. He ran his tongue from Craig's neck down to his chest, flicking his tongue over his left nipple.

He listened to the man moan beneath him as he sucked and bit his nipples, moving from one to the other.

"Fuck it," he said pushing Justin over so he was on top of him. Craig leaned down kissing his lover, as their already rock hard cocks started to grind against each other.

They were both breathless and flushed by the time Craig started to lower himself down on Justin's dick. He was able to take all of him with minimal effort because of their earlier love making session and began to ride him instantly.

Justin just laid back and watched as his beautiful man jumped up and down on his cock. He ran his hand over Craig's abs and down to his cock squeezing it and slapping it against his stomach. He pressed his thumb over the head spreading the pre-cum that dripped out all over his ten inch member. He longed to have it in his mouth again, but knew that there was plenty of time for cock sucking. After all they had their whole lives together.

As he stared up at Craig, the man's gorgeous green eyes sparkling back at him with a mixture of love and lust that always made his stomach do flips, his taught abs, chest, arms, and thighs flexing with every movement, he could feel himself getting closer to the edge. He wanted the feeling of being in that hot soft wet hole forever but knew there was no way he could last very long if Craig kept riding him like he was.

He reached one hand up running it over Craig's ripped abs all the way to his chest where he started to pinch and twist the man's nipple.

Craig let out a scream splashing Justin's stomach and chest with load after load of his creamy white cum.

As soon as Justin saw the man's rigid cock squirt all over him he began to cum himself, grunting as his muscles tightened in the rapture of his orgasm.

Craig collapsed on top of him not caring about the mess he had made that was lying between them.

They lay like that holding each other in silence, Justin kissing Craig's forehead and lips softly.

"Let's not go," Justin said wiping away the dark hair matted to Craig's forehead.

"We have to baby. We promised."

"I know. Make me a promise?"

"Anything," Craig said looking into his eyes.

"Tonight when we get back you're all mine."

"Mmm, I definitely promise that one," he said kissing his lips.

Before the kiss got too involved they moved on to the bathroom hoping to shower and change before Brian arrived.

"Hey it's me. Where are you?" JC asked into the phone. He was in his room sitting on the bed half dressed and angrier and more hurt then he had been in a long time. "You were supposed to be here an hour ago. Just call me when you get this. Or better yet meet us at the restaurant."

With that he hung up. He had already called Wade four times and left about that many messages. There was just nothing else left for him to do. Why was he letting that stupid little boy get to him like this anyway? So what if he wasn't going to show up to a dinner where everyone is going to have someone except JC. So what if he had reminded him numerous times and begged him to at least call if he wasn't going to make it.

That was all beside the point. Okay maybe not, but for now he had to put on a brave face for his friends. There was just too much stuff that was going to be happening soon with the new album for him to be focusing all of his energy on keeping Wade locked up in the house.

Was that what he was doing, he wondered as he ran some product through his curly brown hair. Was he just overreacting at his boyfriend having a life that didn't solely revolve around him? It was just dinner and technically Wade wasn't super close with any of the other guys anyway. But it was important to JC to have him there. They had never done anything like a real couple. They had never been out on a date together, never been to dinner a movie, nothing. JC never thought that was something that he wanted but the more he was denied it the more he felt it was something he had to experience. How was he going to get through watching Justin and Craig, the perfect couple, when his own pseudo relationship was crumbling right before his eyes?

"Are you ready?" Lance asked walking through the open bedroom door.

"Yeah give me like five minutes."

"What about Wade? Is he meeting us there?" he asked the words almost sticking in his throat.

"No," JC said pulling on a black t-shirt.

"Do you want to talk?"

"No."

Lance nodded not really surprised at the response. Since Wade came into his life, JC was so much more secretive and unwilling to share his feelings. They had always been able to tell each other everything. He guessed those days were over, for now at least.

"I'll wait for you down stairs."

"Wait, I'm sorry," JC said stopping his friend with a hand on his forearm. "I'm just upset. I didn't mean to take it out on you."

"It's okay."

"No it's not," he said shaking his head. "Wade and I are having problems, major problems."

"Oh," Lance said his heart starting to pound hard in his ears. He wasn't sure if it was the words coming out of the man's mouth or their proximity but suddenly he felt flush with excitement.

"He's just been acting so strange," JC said sitting down on the edge of the bed again. "I don't know if he's seeing someone else or if this is just what being with Wade is like."

"You should talk to him."

"I have but obviously it hasn't worked."

Lance had no idea what to do as he looked at the hurt in his friend's eyes. He knew he couldn't tell him to drop Wade just because he was jealous but it was clearly not a healthy relationship anymore, if it ever had been.

"What should I do?" JC asked, saying the words that Lance had hoped would not escape his pouty pink lips.

"I don't know," he said honestly, sitting next to him. "I think you might have to figure this one out yourself. I can't tell you what to do."

"Really?" JC said actually cracking half a smile.

"Well not this time."

"Why?"

Lance looked up at him, those glassy hazel eyes staring back at him. If there was ever a time to bare his soul this was it. But was true love worth possibly losing everything he had worked so hard for?

Sorry the new chapter took so long to get out here, but at least there was some good stuff ;) Updates should be more regular from now on. Any comments or criticisms can be emailed to swimfan_777@yahoo.com
