PART 13 - OH WHAT A NIGHT
Oh yeah, Friday morning. Some will say "Thank God it's Friday!" If you look closer though, you'll see that's just another day of the calendar, just like any other. Josh woke up to this day as he did to any other, facing life with an optimistic perspective. There was a job needing to be done at his History teacher's house. It was always fun when she called him to mow her lawn because he got to have an assistant: her son, Philip Wilker, the History teacher's son. They were the same age and you would expect him to take care of this chore, as it's usual for kids that age. Philip was not that guy and his mother would 'punish' him with that, being Josh's assistant gardener. (Check chapter 11).
Philip was 'delicate', but he was not one of those "Femboys", make no mistake. He was a boy, liked being a boy and never wished otherwise. A boy who likes boy, but well, no problems there, right? He was skinny. Real skinny. And his clothing made that clear. Behind his back, many kids in school bad mouthed him but he was lucky enough to have his mother as a teacher in the school, that meant he had never been bullied. He was fun.
Josh never knew for sure if he was gay, he never dared to ask. Well, the last time Josh saw Philip they were at school before summer vacation and, well, Josh was not really gay at that time. This day things would be different, they were leveled, at the same team. Question is: would Josh be bold enough to let Philip know that? Well, he should. It's would be nice to have a gay friend to share things, feelings...
Josh parked his in front of Ms. Wilker's house. As he rang the bell, she quickly showed up at the door. She had a big smile on her face, was receptive and hugged him. What a gal this teacher, her short hair dyed black to hide the grays, she always dressed like a business woman, pant suits every work day. On this Friday she was more relaxed, a large comfy man shirt and jeans. The teacher was on her way out and called her son.
"Oh, hey, Davenport! Long time, no see!"
"Well, yeah... You look pale. Have you left the house? Enjoy the sun?"
"Oh Josh, I keep telling him to log off his computer and go out... It's summer!"
"Mom! Don't speak about me like I'm not in the room... I hate that."
"Yeah, whatever, Philip." The teacher directed to Josh now: "Remember when you studied slavery, Josh?"
"If I say I don't, then I'll just be screwed, I happen in front of my History teacher. Didn't know there would be a quiz."
"Oh, no there's not. I said that because for this morning you got a slave of your own."
"Keep in mind, Josh," Philip joined "that I am a very thin slave."
"That's all right, Ms. Wilker and Philip... I remember last time. I won't call him slave. Assistant will be just fine."
"See that mom? You're trying to sell me but it's not working..."
The three had good laughs but the teacher had to go out.
"Ok boys, don't you do anything I wouldn't do myself, right?"
"Ok mom."
"Ok, Ms. Wilker."
After she left the boys got outside to work.
"Hey, got yourself a car, Davenport?"
"Yeah... You like it?"
"Sure. Call me for a drive, will ya?"
"Of course..."
"Did your father buy it for you?"
"Not a dime of my dad's money on this thing. It's all my work."
"Seriously? Damn I should get into gardening."
"I never understood why you don't do those things by yourself..."
"Let's just say I'm lazy. Plus my hands are soft, wouldn't handle all of this. I bet yours are rough as hell, let me feel it."
"Damn! Your hands are soft! Must spend a lot in lotions..."
"Not really. Never cared for it."
"Lucky bastard."
After some time working under the morning sun, Josh took of his shirt. That made Philip's morning way better, not because Josh had some great upper body, but Philip liked being around shirtless boys... He continued helping Josh much happier.
The boys talked while worked on the lawn and the bushes and finished the job quickly.
"Looks like we're done, here. What do you think, Wilker, is your mom gonna like it?"
"I guess. She's not gonna care as long as it doesn't look like an abandoned house."
They got inside the house to drink some juice and sat on the sofa to chill out a bit.
Meaningless talked flowed freely and subjects changed until Josh thought of asking the obvious, but still unknown unless asked.
"Can I ask you something?"
"I guess. If I know the answer."
Josh suddenly lost confidence to ask if he was gay. The evidence was clear but, well...
"Did you forget the question?"
"Uh, no... I... Well, I hope you don't get offended."
"Try me."
"Are you, uh, per chance... Are you gay?"
"That? You waffled to ask that?"
"It's a delicate subject, right?"
"Perhaps, for some people but, I am, yes, I'm gay. I thought you'd picked on that long time ago..."
"I wouldn't know, if I didn't ask."
"Ok, now you know. Why did you ask?"
"For nothing."
"Oh, right, like I'm believing that. You asked for some reason."
"Ok... I asked because I am too."
There, Josh. Wasn't so hard, now was it? Isn't great to get it off your chest? No. He didn't think so. In fact he was desperate because Philip didn't say anything for a few seconds after he came out.
Philip was processing the information. Josh was definitely cute, he was one of the boys Philip checked out in school.
"Interesting. I wouldn't know."
They smiled at each other. Philip took his glass and proposed a toast.
"To what?"
"To us, being smart and liking boys."
"All right."
They drank the juice after the toast but their eyes never left each other. Now Philip had questions of his own.
"And... Do you have a boyfriend, or something?"
"No. Haven't thought of having a boyfriend..."
"So you're single? Not dating anyone?"
"I'm single, but I've been having fun with a friend."
"Who? Do I know him?"
"No, not yet. He's a new neighbor that moved in not that long ago. But you'll meet him for sure, he's our age, he's gonna go to our school."
"Fun. Is he cute?"
Josh smiled. Shawn was a hottie.
"Oh, yeah."
"Lucky you."
This conversation was getting Josh's juices flowing. Philip was on the same page.
The History teacher's son was not shy at all. If he wanted something, he'd let that clear. He just asked, with no fear of the answer.
"So, Davenport, wanna do something?"
"Like what?"
"Dunno. What do you like?"
"What you mean?"
"Are you a top or bottom?"
"Oh... I like both just fine, what about you?"
"Well, I'm usually a bottom... And?"
"And what?"
"Wanna do something?"
"I guess we can."
Philip's determination was making Josh blush a little. Philip leaned over closer to him and they kissed. Kissing a friend felt different. All right, all right, he did kiss Matt and they were friends, but that was something he'd been working up inside himself for a while. Philip was something else. It was something that happened within seconds. Philip sort of got on top of him. Josh was rock hard, just the way the boy liked.
FBI Agent O'Neal woke up to a hangover. Carlson was reviewing the files from the Georgetown PD for over an hour now and was still mad at his partner for drinking so much and revealing things he wasn't supposed to, like the sexual preferences of the agent, the fact that he 'screwed' his way to get investigations going more than once.
"How are you feeling, son of a bitch?"
"Like a train ran me over."
"You deserved worse."
"What are you talking about?"
"You don't remember anything, do ya?"
"Vaguely."
Agent Carlson began telling O'Neal what he did. The drunker placed his elbows on the table and massaged his temples with his eyes closed. He couldn't believe he'd done that.
"And there's more, O'Neal."
"More?"
"Uh-huh. The journalist recorded the conversation with you and blackmailed us."
"Why?"
"Apparently he has all the investigation ready, but he'll give it to us Sunday."
"Oh shit. What do we do until then?"
"We investigate."
"Why? He's gonna give the info."
"It's right, but it's gonna save us a lot of time. We'll investigate where we know we'll find something."
"Makes sense."
"Because we need to make sure that what this guy, Richard, is telling is all true."
"What did he say anyway?"
Carlson laughed at O'Neal.
"Tell you one thing O'Neal, if you ever do that again, get drunk as a skunk, jeopardize an investigation and ourselves, I'll just kill you. Better, I will fuck you while you're passed out drunk. Ok?"
"If I'm allowed to choose, I'd say you should kill me right away you know?"
"I'm serious O'Neal."
"I get it, man."
"Ok, now on with the journalist. We need to check everything he said. He told us that we don't need to worry about the Monteiro guy or those Lopez and Miles running away. He told the policemen won't run because they never actually laid their hands on the money they were supposed to receive for helping Monteiro. If they fled now, they'd go taking nothing."
"And we need to see for ourselves if all of that's true."
"Yes... I'm not in the mood, but anyway, it's better be here than dealing with paper work back at the office."
"Definitely."
On the other side of the town, Lopez and Miles were pressed for time. They knew it was a matter of time until the FBI found out they were helping Monteiros. Miles took his wife and kids and told her to go stay with her mother for a while. Mrs. Miles knew her husband was involved with something wrong. Her mother had told her a million times it was a mistake marrying a policeman.
Darlene Mayer got cash from Monteiro, but it was not enough to live out of it. Now there was the risk of everything getting out. If that happened, she'd be seriously screwed. She thought of trying a deal with the DA.
Philip was stunned when he saw Josh's cock. It was big. He smiled at the boy before going down to put his mouth on it. Josh felt it and the electricity of that sensation ran through his body. Philip didn't get it all the down his throat but he did a lot of other things. He'd take the cock and beat his face with it. The blowjob with him was really a job! He did this thing with his tongue, worked it all the way down to his balls, then got them both in his mouth at once. Josh couldn't stand still while he did that.
Josh received that 'treat' and while Philip was at it he had time to reason about what was going on. So much for wanting to have a gay friend. He seriously didn't expect he would get that out of Philip.
"Oh shit, Philip, you're good at it, man!"
Philip smiled without taking the 'toy' out of his mouth. Cock sucking was so good that he felt like he didn't want it out of his mouth any time soon. But it was best take it to the room. Mom wouldn't be gone for long now.
"Get your clothes, let's get to my room."
Smart choice, Josh thought. Have your History teacher walk in on you while her son is sucking your cock, well, not your pick for a gardening job reward, right? He couldn't handle losing a good client.
In the room, Philip got naked too. All right babe, he got a great body. Josh was definitely liking this gay friend thing. He wished all his hot friends came with that built in function, sucking cock mode. And great kissing, which was what happened after Philip got naked. Philip pushed Josh to the bed and went on top of him, rubbing that beautiful piece of ass on Josh's hard tool.
"You're good Philip."
"And you're so hot... I've had always had a... hots for you. I just thought I'd never get to it, I thought you were straight." He thought of saying 'crush', but it would sound like something else.
"This is so fucking good!"
"Oh yeah, it is..." Philip continued kissing Josh. "Are you gonna give me your juice?"
"You like it?"
"Oh, yeah... The best thing ever!"
Josh thought of replying with a 'suit yourself' but better just smile and grab that ass... Oh yeah, Josh boy, live the dream, babe, live the dream...
Philip had Josh comfortably adjusted on the bed and turned on the radio, just in case his mother came in, so she wouldn't have to hear any sounds coming from the room other than the music from "The Cure". That wouldn't be Josh's first choice but why complaining? Really. Josh had to find a way to stop thinking while his cock was being serviced. Focus on the fun, Josh!
Josh and Philip kind of forgot about each other for some seconds. Josh was so immerse in the pleasure of what his 'gay friend' was doing to him that he skipped to somewhere else in the 'space time continuum' while Philip seemed to be swimming in alpha levels of consciousness. Weird. Those two guys here sharing the same bed and at the same time completely ignoring the existence of each other, but for a good thing, the intense pleasure they were having.
They were brought back to earth when sounds of the mother were heard in the house. Ms. Wilker knew that closed door meant "I'm busy", according to her own rule. She'd seen the car Josh arrived still parked in front of the house and though she's a History teacher, she did the Math, because the Math on this one was very simple. That was good, Josh was a good boy. But, well, better not build hopes. It might just be them having fun. Whatever, I'm gonna have a marguerita. Fun person, this teacher.
"Should we stop?" Asked a startled Josh.
"No. Of course not. She knows I'm good."
"Is she ok? I mean..."
"Yes! Davenport, shut up. Let's have fun, shall we?!" Philip said that and winked at his 'friend'.
Josh would live, get old and die, and still would be short a zillion things to understand about life.
Seriously, Josh. You're about to cum, please focus on this now, it's about to be quite a show. That's why it was his first time with Philip, and this boy had this quality to him, possibly learnt in porn videos.
He made Josh climax, one the wildest he'd ever had. And we're talking about a blowjob! Freaking perv this blonde. Josh started shooting his load, with his habitual sequential spurts, and Philip took them all in his mouth, never ceasing the sucking. As he felt no more spurts coming he continued playing with the swollen shaft. He opened his mouth and showed Josh his white creamed tongue, then he used that precious cream on Josh's cock, rubbing it on his face. What a view! He swallowed the remains, and smiled a smile... Oh, a smile that would remain in the back of Josh's mind. A great blowjob. And the begin of a great friendship. Not your usual friendship between two high school kids. Something that came with a bonus, that kind of bonus... Go figure.
Needless to say that after that, both boys stayed quiet for a while, Philip laid over Josh, until their breath went back to a normal pace.
When they emerged from the room, Ms. Wilker was in the kitchen filling her marguerita glass for the third or fourth time, who knows and who cares?
"Did you guys have fun?"
Philip smiled, he was ok with his mother being so cool. Josh, on the other hand, was still a bit scared that a parent could 'understand' that and be so cool. If she wasn't his favorite teacher, now she was certainly a strong contestant to that.
Josh came home in time for preparing his brother a meal.
"Why are you smiling, Josh?"
"Nothing, Jordan, I remembered something funny that happened."
Oh, yeah, Jordan, something REALLY funny that happened before. Let your brother be happy, will you?
Shawn was in the bus coming back from the Pet Shelter. It was a shame, but with the school starting on Monday, he couldn't come to the shelter that often. He'd come twice or three times a week. The lady who supervised him in the shelter told him it was ok, his help up to date had been so nice... She understood, school and stuff, if he needed, she could write a letter, so he might get extra credits for volunteering. He wasn't there for extra credits, but as an attempt to soothe his feelings, so wrecked after he and his dad left Biloxi. It was not a big thing but at least made him feel better about himself. The phone rang, cutting his thoughts short.
"Oh, hey, Matt. How you holdin' up?"
"I'm good. After last night I'm much better."
Shawn didn't want to get into that, although Matt's kisses were good. But no, this Matt-Josh story was a mess, if he got in the middle of that things tended to get worse between them. Matt clearly loved Josh, and he woudl only seek comfort in Shawns arms because he was needy. Shawn also felt that Josh loved Matt too.
"I'd like to meet you again, Shawn."
Oh, boy. Here we go.
"Matt. Do you thing it's a good idea?"
"Why not?"
"I don't know... Shouldn't you focus on fixing your 'thing' with Josh?"
"I've been trying man... He won't answer my calls."
"Oh, keep trying, you know? I'm afraid I might be dragged into this whole thing if... I don't know..."
"I get it. I get it, Shawn... You'd rather be with Josh. I understand."
"It's not that, Matt. I like you. I do. I just think you should try and word things out with your best friend."
"Help me out on that one like you said you would!"
"I'm trying. Believe me."
Matt understood that was not working, better change the subject.
"Will you go to the party tomorrow?"
"What party?"
"Oh you don't know, right. That's the last party before school starts... I mean, everybody is gonna be there."
"Where?"
"Oh, at a house, an old club where the guys from our school have the parties... You should go."
"I'm gonna talk to Josh, maybe you two bump into each other there... See?"
"Sounds like a plan."
"Totally."
"I'll e-mail with the deets, but Josh probably already knows all about it."
"Ok, see ya tomorrow then."
"See ya."
Shawn thought that Josh really should forgive Matt for what he'd done but he couldn't say that openly. Officially he didn't know exactly what was the fight really about. Matt was stupid, but it was a 'first time offense'. The more things Shawn had to think about, the less he'd focus on Daniel, Biloxi, Gulfport and all things that took place back in Mississippi.
Later on, Shawn was on the garage, playing guitar a little when Josh came by to return the book, 79 Park Avenue.
"How'd you like it?"
"I liked it a lot."
"Wanna get another?"
"It'd be nice."
"Did you know there was a poem inside?"
"Poem?"
"Yeah, it's in the middle of the book."
Shawn looked for it. His face changed when he read it.
"Yeah, yeah... I know the drill. You read it, you're gonna cry... Must have been someone really special to you, wasn't it?"
"You're right. It was."
"So the other day, when you cried listening to that song... It wasn't about your mother, right?"
"No, it wasn't Josh... Sorry I lied to you..."
"It's ok. It's a white lie. Why did it end?"
"Uh... I don't really wanna talk about it. Can you understand?"
"I can. That's ok, Shawn. But I just want you to know that, if you ever wanna talk about it, you know, just vent... I'm here, ok? I'm here for you."
"It's nice to hear that, Josh. You're a nice friend."
He wrapped his arms around Josh, and rested his head on his shoulder.
Josh left the house with another book to read. It was John Grisham's Last Juror. As the neighbor left, Shawn locked himself in his room and read the poem again and this time he was all alone, it was ok now crying this thing out of him.
Richard Desbordes, the journalist who was about to become the most important man in Georgetown County for few days was enjoying his moment. Not even the threat made against him nor the FBI car parked outside the newspaper 'protecting' were capable of bothering him. His friend in the jewelry business called him with good news.
"That much?"
"Do you think it's ok?"
"Yes, more than enough. Do you think this guy would fly here?"
"He said he would. Nassau is not that far, right?"
"Do you think we should do it over the weekend?"
"I'm not sure. Probably on Monday."
"Monday is gonna be busy, I suppose. But we'll see."
When Josh went to his phone he was a normal kid. During his conversation with Richard his mind started thinking numbers. A lot of them, seven figure numbers. He wanted to scream and shout. Oh my God... He couldn't believe it. Josh and Shawn would have a rainy day fund. Rainy day? Well you could talk of a flood.
Josh ran back to Shawn's place, the old Von Brauns house.
"We need to talk Shawn."
"What happened?"
Shawn's eyes were still teary, but he wiped up before opening the door. Josh now wouldn't care about that, since the news he was about to tell would probably put some tears in his eyes again. Tears of joy this time.
"We better have a seat."
"All right."
"The journalist just called me. He told his friend already found a buyer to the Portuguese Jewels."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Apparently it's a collector, anonymous, billionaire... Richard suspects he has other items of the same collection."
Shawn was exultant. He knew a number would be thrown in the air any second.
"Richard was told by his friend, that the items we'll be negotiating are worth, together, something like 18 million dollars."
"Whaaaaat?"
"Wait... Wait. I had the same reaction. That would be the value in the legal market, which is not where we're going into. This collector guy offered 4.5 million dollars."
"Four point five? Is that really what you said?"
"Yes..." Josh was calm.
"Man..."
Shawn was doing the Math in his head.
"What do you think, Shawn?"
"I think... I don't know what I think."
"I mean, are we selling to this guy?"
"Whoa... If I ever said no, I'd have to ask you 'please shoot me in the head', don't you think?"
"It's a decision we have to make together."
"And your opinion is?"
"Sell it! Let's screw the bad guys... Richard also told us there is a the talk of how this money will be invested and other things... I was thinking we might give him something like a commission."
"I think he's entitled to... He's been nothing but helpful to us."
"What do you say? Ten percent?"
"Almost 500 thousand. It's ok... Then it would leave us with 4.05 millions."
"Two millions twenty five thousand each. So... We're rich, right Shawn?"
"What do you plan on doing with this money, Josh?"
"I've plans to it."
"Oh my God! Man! I don't know how I'm going to explain it to my dad!"
"I plan on telling the truth. My mom will freak out we hid the money in the house... But dad's gonna come around and he'll even find that funny in the end. But I'm only gonna tell when we deliver the money to the Justice. Don't wanna get them involved."
"You're right."
"Ok, Shawn, I'm gonna leave you here, counting the money..."
"Oh man... You provided me the biggest happiness I had in years! The moment we met I didn't know but it would change my life..."
"I feel the same way, Shawn."
Shawn couldn't hold it anymore and kissed Josh.
Josh got back in the house a little before his dad came back from the hospital.
"How was your day, dad?"
"It was good. Listen, do you think we could go see the patient you told me about?"
"I guess. Now, at night, is the best time, because Ayrton is back from work."
"So call him, see if we could go there... And ask him to get together test results, images, whatever he has on his dad."
"Ok, I'll call him."
Ayrton was surprised that Josh's father wanted to help and received them with a smile on his face, grape juice and some appetizers as well. Dr. Davenport examined Nigel, checked BP, sugar level. Ayrton could tell this doctor was one who put his heart at his profession. Ayrton had been with so many doctors while dealing with his father condition and he could tell when a doctor cared.
Dr. Davenport also reviewed the case based on the paperwork Ayrton produced. It was a lot of things. After almost an hour, he announced Mr. Nigel Galloway was accepted into the program. He was going to be treated without costs from this moment on. Ayrton couldn't hold back the tears. Dr. Davenport hugged him, he knew what it meant to this boy. This experienced doctor couldn't hold the tears himself, he wished the system could be fair to everyone. But it was still far away. That was the best he could do.
"Now, Ayrton. Let me tell you a few things."
"Of course, Dr. Davenport."
"On Monday, the physical therapist is going to call you, to set the schedule. They're gonna come here twice a week, all right? And once a week the doctor is going to visit, with a few of his students. Are you ok with that?"
"No problem."
"All right. More information will be provided by the specialist. I'm just the bridge here, for you to get into the program. Josh told me about the case, I told them. They accepted, reviewed the case with the information they could find on your father and... That's it. You're in."
Talk about happy. Ayrton couldn't remember when he saw life with such nice perspectives before. That was a new moment in his life.
The Davenports left Ayrton's house both happy, father and son. They never really talked about it, but they shared this immense pleasure on doing something good without asking for anything in return. Love thy neighbor.
Later Josh knocked at Ayrton's house again.
"Did you forget anything, Josh?"
"No... I came to see you..."
Ayrton got Josh in his arms and they kissed. Well, Josh, you're getting good at it, right? It's the third boy you're kissing in the very same day. Gee!
This mechanic boy had quite a grip and Josh felt in his body an awesome sensation, of being in somebody's arms. The kissing quickly made the temperature rise few degrees and Ayrton suddenly felt the need to take his shirt off. Oh-my-god! What the fuck? Josh's brain collapsed, his jaw fell down, and well... He was not used to totally defined boy chests. Ok. Ayrton could have whatever he wanted at that moment. Josh belonged to him.
Josh pushed his boy to the sofa and went on top of him, kissing that lovely lips and it didn't take long until he moved his kisses down, kissing and feeling that chest. How could I not notice he had great chest and abs the other day? Perhaps I was just so messed because of Matt that I saw nothing. He got down to Ayrton's shorts and not even at this moment he thought of himself just few days back when he was hooking up with Matt and Shawn and because of that, he felt like he was a whore. After that he added Chad, but that was a mistake and in one day, Philip and Ayrton. Go figure. Probably being horny makes you forget being a whore. Makes sense.
Sometime while Josh was working down on his shaft, Ayrton got super horny and started face fucking Josh, who took it like a big man. Ayrton got his cock all the way down Josh's throat and he was having a great time...
Oh holy fuck!
That was a dream. Dream? Really? Oh man! It felt so real... Josh looked around and yes, that was a dream, he was in his room on the good old Wisteria oops... Oh, Ruby Street. He was not with Ayrton. Why did I dream about him? Makes no sense. Or does it? All he knew for sure is that he had a wet spot on his underwear. So much for telling Jordan not to let it happen. Here's punishment. He got up and looked at the window. What the hell? What is Jordan doing?
His younger brother was crossing the street from the Marshall's house. Weird. What time is... Oh man, 2 am! What the hell was he doing there until this late? Josh walked down from the attic and waited his brother on the corridor in the dark.
"Is everything ok, Jordan?"
"Holy shit!!!! You scared me to death, Josh! What you doing up at this time?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing."
"I fell asleep in the living. Was just coming up to my room."
"Oh, in the living. Right." Why was he lying in the first place? "Ok... I got hungry, I'm on my way down to the kitchen, wanna have some hot cocoa?"
"No, thank you... I'm just tired."
"All right then. Sleep well."
"Thanks, you too."
Something simply was not right about this, Josh saw his brother going to bed when he was going up too. Oh, Josh, if you were more perceptive, you'd notice there is more going on between your brother and his friend across the street that you'd think.
Saturday was uneventful for most people in Mount Pleasant but not for most teenagers that looked forward to the party that would take place later on that night. Zack Gahm called Matt to make sure he would go to the party.
"Oh, definitely. Though I'm not sure how I'm going..."
Yeah, you are not sure because you messed up with your best friend, I know.
"Say no more. I'll pick you up. I'll be with my friend, Paul."
"Paul, Paul who?"
"Sardington. I believe you know him."
"Yes, I do... Haven't seen him in... Well I guess I haven't seen him since the last party I went to... Yes, that's it."
"Well, you're gonna see him tonight..."
"Fun."
Josh invited Philip to go with him and Shawn. Philip was excited to meet this new guy.
Chad Campbell was going with a girl, to prevent anyone thinking he 'was not into girls anymore'. She was just a slutty teenager that didn't even need two seconds to be convinced to attend the party with the high school king. In the Campbell residence things were not at their best. Chad's behavior was still causing argument between mother and father. The mother said Chad should not be allowed to go to this party, but the father didn't want to ruin his golden son's last weekend before classes started.
"You don't act like a father. He's gotta have some limits!"
"Please, let's not start a thing here. He's going. I decided it."
"I think you decide too many things here."
Mr. Campbell left her on the kitchen to avoid more discussion. He just couldn't take it. It was a Saturday, for crying out loud.
Philip got ready a bit too soon for the party, his mother noticed that.
"Oh, I'm ready because Josh is gonna pick me up here."
"Davenport? Really? Didn't know you two were close."
"We weren't but, the truth is we have more in common than we thought, that's it."
"I kind of picked up on that when I saw him when I came back yesterday."
She smiled, making Philip uncomfortable. He sometimes was uncomfortable with his mother being a pro-gay parent. But she really preferred he did stuff in the house. Although hate crimes against gays were not that frequent anymore, it was still a risk.
Philip and Josh got back to Ruby Street and parked in the Davenport's driveway. They walked down to the Hunter's place and Shawn was nowhere near to get ready. They were both surprised he didn't even take a shower.
"Calm down guys... It's still early. The darkness hasn't even settled on the horizon totally. See? There's still time.
Philip's first sight of Shawn made his heart skip a beat. Damn he's hot. He said it to Josh.
"Oh, you say that because you didn't see him before, he had this wild hair..."
"Man! Why did he cut it short?"
"I don't know, he said he wanted a change, or something."
"I love this kind of guy..."
"Well, he's single..."
"You don't mind?"
"Of course not. I mean, I never thought of him with someone else since I met him, but I don't own him."
"Dating has its problems. The monogamy certainly is one of them."
"Then again, I'm not dating him."
"I like the sound of that."
They laughed at it. They definitely had more in common than they thought.
Somewhere else in Mount Pleasant, Zack Gahm parked nearby a convenience store with Matt and Paul, where they met Chad, the slutty girl that was with him and some other guys from the 'gang'. At first when Zack stopped by to pick him up he couldn't believe he was seeing Matt. Since that night in Hennessey Park, Matt and Josh sort of had a room in his mind. Also, the fact that Zack sucked his cock while he smoked that joint... His mind was a mess about that. He was no gay but seeing Matt get fucked and Zack sucking his cock kind of made everything get out of place. Tonight though, was not the time to deal with that. Tonight was all about the party, and drinking, and the party, and some more drinking. That was why they met nearby the convenience store. Zack and Chad had fake IDs and everyone got the money together. It was their 'pre gaming' to the party, just to warm up and have fun.
Matt was proud of himself, totally accepted by the group. He thought Paul was looking at him a bit too much, but other than that, everything was ok.
Some miles to the north, in Georgetown, more precisely at the Gazette's building, it was not a Saturday night like any other. Usually on a Saturday, by 6 pm almost everyone is long gone, leaving only one 'on duty' for eventualities. This night was not one of that. All journalists were reviewing the "Case Monteiro" and getting everything ready for the activities in the next morning. There would be four teams, all the journalists employed by the paper involved. Richard would go to Gresham, to the Capo's arrest, there would be a team by the house of Darlene Mayer and other two teams by Lopez and Miles houses. The editor would be handling everything in the office if something else happened and he was needed. The editor didn't exactly understand how Richard got the FBI to agree with hold the operation until Sunday morning. Some things were best unknown.
Still in Georgetown, the FBI agents had another uneventful night. Uneventful depending on the point of view. O'Neal watched TV in his room, while Carlson was being 'entertained' by that bell boy. The boy stayed a little more with Carlson this time and they got talking in bed after sex.
"Are you guys gonna stay longer in the town?"
"It depends."
"Depends on what?"
"On the operation we're going to have tomorrow. There will be some arrests and searches taking place."
"That Monteiro guy that everyone is talking about?"
"He, among other people. Cops, Lawyers..."
While he was talking his phone rang. It was O'Neal.
"There's something going on in Lopez's house."
"Lopez? What about him?"
"I don't know yet. The agent that's monitoring him just called. Thought I'd let you know so you could be prepared in case we have to go down there. Let's just hope he doesn't try to get away."
"Here's hoping."
He hung up the phone and got near the bell boy again.
"Problems?"
"Nah, just something about the operation we're having tomorrow... I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to cut short our fun. You know, gotta, uh, see what's the deal..."
"It's ok..." Said the boy while looking for his uniform. "I was hoping we'd go at it a second time..."
"Tomorrow... Do you work tomorrow?"
"Yup. I'll be around. You know where to find me."
Carlson slapped his butt and the bell boy left the room.
O'Neal was talking the the agent nearby Lopez's house. Carlson was there in the room with him.
"Ok, so he's back already?"
"Yeah, O'Neal, I'm sorry... Turns out he went out to buy some beer."
"No, it's ok, you did right. Anything else that happens you let us know, ok?"
"Sure."
"See you in the morning."
"So he didn't run away..."
"No, Carlson. False alarm."
"It got me worried. We can't anything go wrong with this thing."
"Just few more hours. We still need that journalist to tell us where the Monteiro is."
"Damned Charity hospital. They have few cameras and the ones they have are not working."
"We couldn't even see the direction they headed as they went away."
"We're tied to this Richard guy. He's all we got."
"Not to mention he's blackmailing us, right? Thanks to you, O'Neal."
"Shut up. You can go back fucking your boy..."
"Already did. He's gotta work now."
There's a clear reason why drinking is not allowed until a the age of 21. Younger people can't really handle the alcohol, or they just abuse it. That was what happened to Chad's gang. All of them were high before they hit the party. It's a mystery the fact that none of them crashed their cars on the way to the actual party.
The place was getting crowded when Matt entered it right after Zack Gahm and Paul Sardington. They all mingled, talked to some friends they didn't see during the summer, catching up, gossip flowed freely. Chicks and dudes made out. Just a party, you know?
Shawn did not manage to get ready in a heart beat like he advertised. Actually he took a bit too long. Josh and Philip waited for him. In fact Philip took a nap while waiting and he missed quite a show when the boy entered his room after showering barely wrapped in a towel. Josh did not sleep therefore he saw it all... Always so good to see a boy naked.
When they got to the party the place was packed! The music was so loud that Josh thought it could be heard in every single place in Mount Pleasant.
Shawn did not go unnoticed although he was not into that. The minute the girls heard there was a hot new guy who was in the party, whoa, the word spread like wildfire.
Josh could not see neither Philip nor Shawn. That's a paradox but he was alone in that crowd. Philip was dressed in skinny jeans and got lucky, kissed a boy he didn't know who was. The boy had skills when it came to kissing and also had 'grabby' hands. He wouldn't get them out of Philip's ass while they made out. Minutes later Philip couldn't see him anymore. That's a problem, the boys you kiss in a dark corner of a party usually won't like to be seen with you in broad day light in school. They're not 'gay', that's what they'll tell anyone. Just being wild, right?
Matt was having a great time, though he didn't kiss anyone. It was all about being seen with the top dogs of the school. Many of his friends passed him by and waved, talked to him (not that he could actually understand what they said), danced with him. The last few parties he attended didn't go like that. He pretty much stayed in a corner much of the time. That's a good change.
Talking seemed impossible, so when Josh finally got sight of Philip, he held him.
"Dude, you two left me alone here!"
"What? I can't really hear you! What did you say?"
"Whatever... Let's just stay together!"
Zack was one of the guys that was most thirsty for alcohol. Whenever he disappeared he would come back with two beers or two tequila shots, oh who knows what else that he would share with Matt. The poor boy was not feeling his feet on the floor anymore. He would say he was, but in the moment he sat a little to rest. That would be the moment when the whole liquor would settle in and he would be a mess.
Shawn had been talking to a girl, he believed Sarita was her name. She was insistent, she wanted a kiss. He didn't tell her right upfront the he was gay so she just thought her moves were working. Though totally gay, kissing never hurt anyone. They made out for a while, she smelled like a mix of beer and vodka. That was not the worst thing ever but when she reached down for his cock, which was unaware that any action was happening up there (that's how gay he was), he decided to break it and go somewhere else. She managed to say "call me" but she never gave her the number, nor was he interested anyway.
After another round of tequila, Matt decided he was really up for something. Chad was unavailable but Zack was nearby. He called the boy to the bathroom.
Around the same time, Josh and Philip were close by. When Josh saw Matt pulling Zack by the hand inside the bathroom he got Philip to understand him:
"Let's get to the bathroom."
"What?"
"Bathroom!"
"What? Josh, I really can't..."
"We need to powder our noses, dammit!"
"Oh! Ok!"
Oh my God. Philip wouldn't understand the simple word, but the last sentence he could.
When they entered in the bathroom, a really small one, with three individual stalls, there was only one door closed and Matt was certainly behind that door with Zack. Philip was checking himself on the mirror but Josh had his ear close to the door trying to hear anything coming from the inside. He could hear some sounds he identified as blowjob. He whispered to Philip.
"I think they're having sex."
"Really? Who?"
"Does it matter?"
Philip did not notice this, but Josh was totally pissed. With no reason! He was not friends with Matt anymore, so why would he care if he was screwing someone in the party? Anyway, he cared. And he cared a lot. He got possessed with anger. He whispered to Philip again.
"You look so hot."
Philip giggled.
"Thank you."
"Wanna have sex?"
"Now?"
"Yeah, here..."
"What the hell? Let's do it."
They entered in the next stall and closed the door behind them. Josh kissed Philip and really did not try to keep it quiet. He pulled Philip against the stall strong enough to be noticed on the other side. Matt was blowing Zack at that time and he wouldn't stop it even if the roof was collapsing. If that happened, maybe he'd stop. But it had to be something really big to get him out of what he was doing.
Philip too bent down, on the other side of the stall and took Josh's cock in his hungry mouth. Josh moaned loud enough to be definitely heard on the other side. He was totally trying to get to Matt, who now had his face totally buried in Zack's pubes but was aware there was something going on. He thought he recognized that moan. But he was in no condition to really recognize anything and connect to whatever information in his brain. His head was pretty much flooded with so many tequila shots and beer, and some vodka and I would not want to see him in the next day.
Josh this angry, horny kid, got Philip straight up again, and kissed him. Philip turned himself against the stall. Now Matt and Philip had their faces pretty close to each other, separated only by the stall. Zack and Josh got their 'prizes' almost at the same time. Josh was determined to make it a quickie, in time to finish and get out of the stall to be seen by Matt. He wanted that. He wanted to show he too was able to find someone else and... Well, Josh was totally stupid by now. He did not drink at all so he was not able to use that as an excuse. Matt, yes, could blame the booze for his behavior.
Philip had nothing to do with Josh's and Matt's situation, in fact he didn't even know about any of that. He just happened to be nearby when Josh snapped, lost track of reality, composure and did something that was not capable of understanding, especially now, that he was fucking Philip so roughly.
"How are you liking it?" Josh said to Philip.
"I loving it Josh... Oh, Uh... You're so good..."
"Am I what?"
"You're so good, Josh."
"Say it louder..."
"You're so good, Josh!"
There was silence on the other side of that stall. Zack stopped fucking Matt for a while. Matt definitely acknowledged what was going on though Zack was not going to cut it short just now. Josh grabbed on Philip's hips and gave it to him with all his strength and anger. He never had anger sex before. Philip felt like screaming with pain but, hell, he agreed to it. He didn't know Josh could be so rough! He always seemed so sweet. Whatever, I'm here, so I better enjoy it, Philip thought to himself. Josh came into Philip's ass, and then this bottom boy felt so good. Rough wasn't bad after all. Feeling a boy's load creaming up his inside gave him such a soothing sensation, something like a fulfillment, total satisfaction... That was the best part for him, receiving the nectar of his top boy. It always made him want more and more... He really loved being a bottom.
Zack was affected by the sex-making sounds coming from the other stall and shot his load inside of Matt's boy hole almost instantaneously... He wasn't that rough and for Matt it didn't really matter at that moment, he just wanted that to be over. The fact that Josh was on the other side killed the fun for him.
Josh kissed Philip one more time and Philip REALLY kissed him back. He did not just liked it, he LOVED it. They got out of the stall shortly before the other door opened and Zack was seen for a second before heading out of the bathroom acting like 'nothing happened'. Matt came out seconds later and his eyes met Josh's eyes. Those eyes were cold, insensible. Matt was really destroyed. Josh visually ended him while zipped up. He did that in a way that was saying: "I did it, yeah, asshole, I can fuck too, you see?" It's a lot, expect that someone will understand all that with a simple zipping, but Matt understood it perfectly. Probably due the chemistry they had.
Matt left the bathroom, desperate for a drink.
Philip was still out of himself after such great quickie that he did not notice the tension in the air.
"I could use a drink."
"Oh, me too. Definitely."
Really? Josh was going to drink? That was something new.
Philip thought the party was great. No matter what happened after that, this party certainly qualified as a great one. Josh didn't feel the same way. Matt much less. Matt dried beer after beer within seconds.
Shawn finally spotted Josh and Philip.
"What the hell, guys? I've been trying to find you... Where were you?"
The music was a little less loud now.
"We've been... around." Said Philip with a smile.
Richard Desbordes left the Gazette after 2 am and did not drive down to his apartment, instead, he drove out to the city, randomly trying to organize his thought. He finally made it, he was going to have a big big story. Really big. A story that would made his name. He stopped at a convenience store and bought a six pack, few chocolate bars and some other stuff. Georgetown seemed small compared to how big was his excitement.
Few beers knocked some senses into Josh's head. He suddenly felt bad for what he'd done to Philip.
"What? I loved it, there's no need to apologize, Josh."
"I really have to, you know, I sorta used you to get to someone else."
"Did you? Who? Zack Gahm?"
"No. Matt."
"Man, if it makes you feel any better, you don't have to worry about me, seriously. I did not feel used at any moment, I enjoyed the moment, I really liked it... And I certainly wanna do that again with you."
Josh smiled, but soon focused again.
"I liked that, too, you were great. But what I did, the way I did it, was wrong... Ok? That's why I wanted to apologize to you."
"Ok, apology accepted."
The party was almost over now, many people had already left. Josh started to feel different about what Matt, and what happened between them with Chad that day... He was messed up.
Matt drank so much that he was now passed out on a bench in a corner. Chad was gone, he went home alone, after being seen with that girl long enough. Paul and Zack wanted to go too, but they couldn't wake Matt up. He mumbled some words that couldn't be understood.
Shawn, Philip and Josh were ready to call it a night as well, and they walked towards the exit when Josh spotted Matt in that deplorable situation. Zack had just given up on him, he was walking away, leaving Matt behind.
"Hey! Dude? Are you gonna leave him here?" Josh called Zack back.
"Dude, I've tried to get him up... He just won't do it."
"And you're gonna leave him, just like that? Seriously, after what you did before?"
"Don't know what you're talking about man." Zack was embarrassed because Josh clearly knew he was fucking Matt in that stall.
"Whatever, just get outta here... I'll take care of him."
Shawn didn't expect anything else from Josh. He knew he cared for his friend. That was the sweet Josh that Philip knew from school, too.
Shawn helped Josh carry Matt out and get him into the car.
"Are you ok for driving?" Shawn asked because of Josh's drinking.
"I'm good, Shawn, just had a couple of beers. We're stopping by Matt's place first, if it's ok with you."
"Sure." Both boys answered at one.
Josh parked the VW in front of Matt's house, the others helped him carry Matt until the front door. He searched in the boy's pockets for the key.
"Guys, I'm gonna get him up by myself, ok? His mom might freak out if she sees a lot of people in her house like this, in the middle of the night."
Shawn and Philip got back to the car. Shawn thought to himself that Josh could deny it as much as he wanted but he still cared for Matt very deeply. That was true friendship. Philip used the time they'd be waiting to get to know Shawn better.
Josh carried Matt upstairs like he did many other times before. He missed being with this SOB but he was not ready to admit that just yet. He laid Matt on his bed and carefully took out his shoes, shirt and pants. Then he pulled the sheets over Matt and kissed his forehead.
"I can't hate you, and I can't go on without you, son of a bitch."
The boys got home safe and sound after a busy night in Mount Pleasant.
Somewhere in Georgetown, on a disposable phone, a number was dialed.
"Who's this, at this time?"
"Is this Lopez?"
"Yes, who are you?"
"It doesn't matter but you have to listen to me. You have to get on the run... Run and hide!"
"W-what? Who's this? What are you talking 'bout?"
"Listen to me! The FBI is gonna come in the morning to get you! RUN AND HIDE! You understand me?"
"I do.. I guess... I do..."
"That's for real Lopez. Get some stuff and run. Hit the road!"
The call was disconnected suddenly and Lopez didn't understand what all this was about but he was not going to risk it. He called Miles.
